Hey guys, Andrew Sluder, pastor of Bible Baptist Church here in Asheville, North Carolina, coming to you with a video tonight on the Trinity. Pastor Andrew Sluder put out a 14-minute video called The Trinity Explained, but in the video, he doesn't teach the Trinity at all. Not one word out of his mouth is Trinitarian. He just teaches a hardcore, Pentecostal oneness view of God, total modalism. This is about the simplest you can get it, and it's the Father is the Son, the Son is the Holy Ghost, the Holy Ghost is the Father, and they all three are God. But he says, oh, it isn't modalism because, you know, modalism teaches that God's only in one mode at a time, but He can actually be in all three modes simultaneously. Now, the difference between a modalist and myself is the fact that I not only believe that God is three different manifestations, but that He can also manifest Himself all at the same time in each of these distinct manifestations, as seen in the baptism of Jesus. Well, newsflash Andrew Sluder, the oneness Pentecostals believe that He can also be in all three modes simultaneously. The type of modalism where God is in three modes consecutively and not at the same time went out of fashion about 1700 years ago, and even if you go to the oneness Pentecostalism Wikipedia page, it explains the difference between modern oneness Pentecostalism and ancient modalism from well over a thousand years ago. Modern day modalism would be oneness Pentecostalism, like another version of modalism, and they teach that God can operate in all three modes at the same time. I don't know exactly, you know, the variations of it, but I know they believe that He can be simultaneously, you know, in all three modes at the same time. Then there's something called modalism. This is a very popular one, especially among a lot of Pentecostals. This is the belief that there is one God who manifests Himself in different forms, but they believe that God only can manifest Himself in one form at one time. That is a total lie. All you have to do is look at the oneness Pentecostalism Wikipedia page or talk to any oneness Pentecostal, and they will tell you that He can be in all three modes at the same time. So if you look at what Andrew Sluder teaches in his video, it is word for word exactly what oneness Pentecostalism teaches. He denies that God is three persons. He says that God is only one person, that Jesus is God the Father. It's the Father is the Son, the Son is the Holy Ghost, the Holy Ghost is the Father, and they all three are God. It's all Jesus. You know, oneness Pentecostalism is known as the Jesus only movement. And Sluder says, oh yeah, it's all Jesus. You know, the Father, the Holy Ghost, the Son, that's all Jesus. So guys, watch this, God the Father is the spirit, Jesus is the body, and the Holy Ghost is the soul. That's the body, soul, and spirit. God is a Trinity. That's the Trinity there. It's all, and it's all wrapped up in the person of Jesus Christ. At least the oneness Pentecostals have the decency to admit that they reject the Trinity. But these new infiltrators, heretics, liars amongst the independent fundamental Baptists with their oneness garbage, they just call it the Trinity and teach modalism. Don't be fooled by this. Just because you call your teaching the Trinity doesn't make it the Trinity. The Trinity is three persons, one God. The Trinity distinguishes between God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost as distinct persons. This Jesus only garbage is trying to infect Baptist churches and, you know, it's so evil the way that they teach, identical to what the oneness Pentecostals teach, and then just call it the Trinity. Whether it's Andrew Sluder, Tyler Baker, Dominique Davis, Garrett Kirschway, all the rest of these bozos, you know, this stuff is poison and it needs to be called out. Andrew Sluder is not saved, he's a damnable heretic. Oh, and just another bonus, in his video you can see the notes that he has written in his Bible where he believes in people populating other planets for all eternity like a Mormon. Stay away from this damnable heretic.
