Matthew 2nd here from Verity Baptist Church Manila, providing you another video on the topic of Calvinism and limited atonement, and I wanted to read to you Isaiah chapter 53 verse 6, where the Bible reads, All we like sheep have gone astray. We have turned everyone to his own way, and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. And so the Bible says the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Now obviously what the Calvinist always says is that well the all is not referring to all, and he's just talking about dying for some people. But you know whenever you look throughout the entire Bible you're seeing how he's always dying for all, he paid for the sins of the world. And try to redefine all those verses a little bit ridiculous. And so all of us have gone astray. We have turned everyone to our own way, but he's laid on us the iniquity of us all. He died for everybody's sins. So whether it's here in the Philippines or whether it's in the United States, whether it's a big sin like murder or suicide, or whether it's a small sin like telling a little white lie, whether or not it was in the past or whether or not it's tomorrow or in the future, look he died for all sins. He laid on, hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. So whether it's a believer or an unbeliever, he died for everyone's sin. And you can cross reference that with 1 John 2 where it says he was propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And what you're seeing is that what the Bible says plainly is exactly what the truth is. That Jesus Christ, you know, he was crucified on the cross, and when he was crucified, there was two malefactors there with him. There's one on the left and one on the right. And what ended up happening? One of them ended up believing and one didn't. But, you know, he still died for both of them. You know, he hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. And so that's what you see throughout the entire Bible. And if you just take these verses word for word, just like they say, and don't question them, and just read it with an open mind, without any preconceived idea, you're going to walk away and say, you know what, the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. And salvation is something that all of us can have if we would just believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you, and God bless.
