(Disclaimer: This transcript is auto-generated and may contain mistakes.) Hello, this is Pastor Steven Anderson from Faith Forward Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona. A lot of people today will tell you that the Christ-rejecting Jews are God's chosen people. But I'm going to prove to you from scripture that God does not even recognize them as Jews. Listen to Romans 2-28. The Bible reads, For he is not a Jew which is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh, but he is a Jew that is one inwardly. And circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter, whose praise is not of men, but of God. So this scripture tells us clearly that he is not a Jew which is one outwardly. So we look at people today that outwardly look like a Jew or identify themselves as Jews. And we look at them and say, oh, that person's Jewish, that person's a Jew. God says that he is not a Jew which is one outwardly. You say, well, he's circumcised. No, the Bible says, neither is circumcision that outward circumcision in the flesh. It says he's a Jew which is one inwardly. Now what does that mean? Well, the Apostle Paul wrote into the Philippians in chapter 3 verse 3, For we are the circumcision which worship God in the spirit and rejoice in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh. So according to Romans 2, 28 and 29, these outward Jews, people who call themselves Jews, people that are circumcised in the flesh, he said they're not Jews. God does not regard them as Jews. He says we're the circumcision who worship God in the spirit, and watch this, and rejoice in Christ Jesus. Let me ask you something today. Do the so-called Jews living over in Israel or living in New York today, do they rejoice in Christ Jesus? Because if not, then they're not the circumcision in God's eyes. They're not the Jews in God's eyes. The Bible says we're the circumcision who worship God in the spirit and rejoice in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh. They have all their confidence in the flesh today. They believe that they're God's people because they descend from Abraham in the flesh or because they're doing a lot of works in the flesh, the works of the law. But the Bible says that we as Christians today are the circumcision. We're God's chosen people and we rejoice in Christ Jesus. .
