In this video I want to talk about the subject of how to become a more effective soul winner, and I'm gonna split this video up into two parts. First and most importantly, spiritual tips, because the thing is, soul winning is not just something you can do in the flesh, it's not a secular work, it of course is a spiritual activity, and without the Word of God and without the Spirit of God you can't get somebody saved. The Bible talks about 2nd Corinthians chapter 5, that we are ambassadors for Christ, and when we preach the gospel it says that it's as if God did beseech you by us. So it's not just us when we preach the gospel, it's not our efforts, it's not our power. Jesus said, without me you can do nothing. So the thing is, soul winning is a spiritual work, and I do want to first talk about spiritual things to apply to your life to help you to become a more effective soul winner, but then also just some practical tips, things that you can do at the door that will help you to be more efficient in soul winning and preaching the gospel. So let's get into this. Firstly, regarding the spiritual stuff, the Bible teaches that you have to abide in Christ in order to bring forth much fruit. It says in John chapter 15 verse 4 to 5, Abide in me and I in you, as the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine. No more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in me and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit, for without me you can do nothing. So Jesus says very clearly that without him you can't do anything, you cannot bring forth fruit. In order to bring forth fruit you have to abide in him and he has to abide in you. Now what does that mean? Well the Bible makes it very clear that abiding in Jesus means to abide in his word, and I'll give a few examples of this where this is taught in other scriptures, such as 1st John chapter 2 verse 24, where it says, Let therefore, or let that therefore abide in you which ye have heard from the beginning. And if that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, you shall also continue in the Son and in the Father. So the word continue of course also means abide, these are synonyms. The Bible makes it very clear that in order to abide or to continue in the Son, in order to abide in Jesus, you have to let that word abide in you, that which you have heard from the beginning. So if you let the Word of God abide in your heart, that's what it means to continue or to abide in Jesus. And that makes sense because the Bible tells us that Jesus is the Word made flesh, the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us that we beheld his glory, the glory is of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. So Jesus Christ is the Word of God made flesh, so to abide in Jesus means to abide in his word, to read the Bible, to meditate on the things that are in. For example, Psalm chapter 1 verses 1 to 3, it correlates meditating on the Word of God with bearing much fruit and it tells us very clearly that if you let the Word of God dwell in your heart and you meditate on these things day and night, then you will bring forth much fruit. Psalm chapter 1 verses 1 to 3 says, Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful, but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law doth he meditate day and night, and he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bringeth forth his fruit in his season. His leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. So the Bible tells us that the man who meditates in the law of God day and night, then that person will bring forth much fruit and that and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper, which of course includes soul-willing, preaching the gospel. So in order to be an effective soul, in order to prosper, out-soul-willing, knocking doors, preaching the gospel, the Bible tells us that we have to let that Word of God dwell in our hearts, meaning we have to meditate on the Word of God, we have to read the Bible, and that's a very important part of being an effective soul. You have to abide in Christ, you have to let his word dwell in you. Another example where Jesus teaches us is John 8 32, where it says, Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If you continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed. And in John chapter 15, Jesus again tells us that being a disciple, an important aspect of being a disciple, is bearing fruit and preaching the gospel, because he says in verse 8, Herein is my Father glorified that ye bring forth much fruit, so shall ye be my disciples. And what does the Bible say you have to do to be the disciple of Jesus? It says you have to continue in Jesus's Word. So continuing in Christ, abide in Christ, would be to continue in the Word of God, right? So to read the Bible, meditate on it. If you do that, then you will bear much fruit. So tip number one to become a more effective soul winner is you have to actually read the Bible, meditate on the Bible, and study the Bible, and think on those things throughout the day, right? It's not just, you know, the Christian life is like a web of all these different things coming together. You can't be a good soul winner if you're not good in reading the Word of God, and also if you're not doing a good job in your prayer life, that would be the second point, that you have to pray, okay? That's another thing that will help you with soul winning prayer, because Jesus said, All things whatsoever you ask in prayer believing you shall receive. So all things including includes being an effective soul winner, being able to be filled with the Spirit and preach the gospel with boldness. And the Bible makes it very clear, we see examples of this, such as in Acts 4 31, it says, And when they had prayed, if the place was shaken where they were assembled together, and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the Word of God with boldness. So if you want to be able to go out and preach the gospel with boldness, the Bible says you have to pray. And if you pray, then that's one way to be filled with the Holy Ghost. Ephesians chapter 6 verses 18 and 19, Paul talks about this as well. He says, Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints, and for me that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel. So not only should you be praying for God to fill you with the Spirit and give you boldness to be able to preach the Word and to be able to to find those people who want to hear the gospel, but you should also ask and request other people to pray for you as well. And that's exactly what Paul is doing here. He's writing to the Ephesians and he's asking them to pray for him that he might open his mouth boldly to preach the gospel, to make known the mystery of the gospel, right? And then also it's related to if you're bearing fruit, if you get people saved, then your prayers are more likely to be answered as Jesus teaches in John chapter 15 verse 16. He says, Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you that you should go and bring forth much fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name he may give it you. So Jesus says if you go out and you bear fruit, you bring forth much fruit, he says whatsoever you ask of the Father in my name he may give it unto you. And that ties in with the next point which is basically just do it. Just go out and preach the gospel and over time you will bear more fruit because number one what we just saw that if you bear fruit then God will answer your prayers more and of course prayer is important for being filled with boldness and being able to be led to the right people and have chances and opportunities to preach the gospel. But then Jesus also tells us that if you bear fruit he's going to purge you to bring forth more fruit. John chapter 15 verse 2 he says, Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away, and every branch that beareth fruit he purgetheth that it may bring forth more fruit. So those Christians who actually make an effort to win people to Christ who actually make an effort to preach the gospel to bear fruit, the Bible tells us that God is going to purge that man or purify him so that he can bring forth much bring forth more fruit. So if you've been going soul winning for some time and you're consistently going out and preaching the gospel, God is going to put some testing in your life or take something out of your life purge you in some way so that distractions in your life will be gone so that you'll become a more effective soul winner so that you can you know focus more on the kingdom of God and none of the things of this world. And those who have been consistently soul winning for years have seen that happen in their lives. I can say that that has happened for me too, that there have been times in my life where you know God has purged me, where certain things that used to distract me from the kingdom of God and from preaching the gospel, those things are gone out of my life because of you know some kind of trial or testing that God put me through and again you know if you just go out and do it God will purge you to bring forth more fruit. So so far the three points, abiding Christ, meaning abiding his word, you have to read the Bible, you have to meditate on the Bible, that's a way to be fruitful while soul winning. Number two, you have to pray for boldness, for God to help you with soul winning. Number three, you have to just do it and then eventually God will purge you to make you into a more effective soul winner. And number four, which is probably the hardest for a lot of people to swallow but it is absolutely true, is that you have to be willing to forsake all for the kingdom of God. This is something that it's very hard for many Christians to do and the thing is that the Bible makes it very clear that not every Christian, not every saved believer is going to become a disciple. But in order to be a disciple, in order to be a fisher of men, in order to be you know an effective servant that's going to bring forth you know 30 fold, 60 fold, 100 fold as he talks about in the parable of the sower, you have to be willing to forsake all for the kingdom of God. I'll read a few scriptures about this. Matthew 4 verse 19, Jesus says, and he saith unto them, follow me and I will make you fishers of men. This is when he's calling, you know, Peter and John from fishing. He says, I will make you fishers of men if you follow me. What does the Bible tell us about following Jesus? Well Jesus said in Luke chapter 9 verse 23, and he said to them all, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take his cross daily and follow me. So in order to follow Jesus, in order to come after him, the Bible says you have to deny yourself, meaning you're putting down the things that yourself, your old man, wants and you're taking up your cross, which you know is equivalent to suffering, just like Jesus suffered on the cross, you have to be willing to suffer for Christ and follow after him. And later in the chapter, Luke chapter 9, it gets even more extreme. Jesus says, and he said unto another, follow me. Right, so that's exactly what he said to the disciples in Matthew 4. He said, follow me and I'll make you fishers of men. But this man who he tells him to follow, or tells to follow him, he says, but he said, Lord suffer me first to go and bury my father. Verse 60, Jesus said unto him, let the dead bury their dead, but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. And another also said, Lord I will follow thee, but let me first go bid them farewell which are at home at my house. And Jesus said unto him, no man having put his hand to the plow and looking back is fit for the kingdom of God. So Jesus makes it very clear, you're not fit to be one of these servants, to preach the kingdom of God, if you're going to go into it, but then look back, look back into your old life, into the world. No, you have to daily deny yourself and go forward. You can't go backwards. If you want to be an effective servant of Jesus and the kingdom of God, you have to go forward and not look back. Luke chapter 14 verse 26 to 27, Jesus said, if any man come to me and hate not his father and mother and wife and children and brethren and sisters, yea and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross and come after me cannot be my disciple. Verse 33, so likewise whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. And remember earlier I quoted John chapter 15 verse 8, where it says that Herod is my father glorified that you bring forth much fruit, so shall you be my disciples. So being a disciple of Jesus is equated with bringing forth much fruit. And Jesus says, if you do not forsake all that you have, if you do not hate your own life and are willing to hate, you know, all your family and everything that you have and bear your cross daily and come after Jesus, if you're not willing to give up everything for the sake of Jesus and for the sake of the kingdom of God, then Jesus says you cannot be my disciple. So in order to follow Jesus, in order to bear much fruit, in order to glorify the Father in that way, the Bible tells us that in order to become that fisher of men, you have to forsake all that you have. And I know that is some, that is pretty hard for a lot of people and that's a hard thing to think about, but that's what Jesus said. He said that in order to be his disciple, in order to follow after him, which leads to you being a fisher of men, then you have to, you know, give up those things which are getting in the way. Because, you know, it's a very hard work to go out and consistently preach the gospel and to deny the things of this world and to go after Jesus. So the four things, spiritual things, the tips of how to become a more effective soul winner, again, or abiding in Christ, which means to abide in his word, to read the Bible, to meditate on the Bible, to pray, meaning you have to ask God for effectiveness, to preach the gospel, for boldness, for chances, for opportunities, for wisdom, all those kinds of things. Just ask God to help you in your life of preaching the gospel and your life of soul winning. Number three, you just have to do it and eventually God will purge you and you have to be willing to forsake all that you have for Jesus's sake. You have to deny yourself daily, you have to follow after Jesus in order to be a fisher of men. So those are the four spiritual things I wanted to talk about today. Now I want to get into just some more practical tips and of course, you know, these practical tips are helpful, but if you don't apply the four things I just mentioned, it's not really going to do much. You have to put these things into practice versus spiritual things and then the practical things are kind of just like the icing on the cake. So let me just give you some examples to be a better soul winner out the door. Number one, and some of these things are some common sense things, some of these things you would think are common sense, but a lot of people don't really think about it or don't put into practice. Number one, go out at times when people will actually be home. Okay, now obviously if you don't have time to go in the evenings, like let's say you have a work schedule where you start later in the day, then obviously, you know, you should go in any time you have, right, or a day off or whatever, but the thing is if you have time to go in the evening, that's the best time to do it because that's when most people are home. Most people will get off work at three, four, five, or you know, people get off of school at two o'clock, three o'clock, whatever. So the late afternoon and evening time is the best time to go soul winning and I found in my experience that that's the most receptive time you get the most people saved because more people are home. Okay, it's just the fact of the matter that, you know, between like three o'clock and like six o'clock, then a lot more people are home, so a lot more people will actually answer the door when you knock on the door. So that's just a good tip to keep in mind. Now again, if the only time you have to go is 10 in the morning or 11 in the morning or something like that, then that's better than nothing. Do that, right? You can still talk to some people who maybe work night shifts or maybe work later in the day or maybe a stay-at-home mom or maybe there's somebody who's a teenager and they go to school but maybe it's on like summer break or something, you know. You can still find people and talk to people in the middle of the day, it's just there's gonna be more people to talk to later, that's all I'm saying. So that's just a practical tip to keep in mind. Another tip is to be more persistent to preach the gospel and what I mean by that is don't turn down opportunities to go out soul winning or to preach, you know, and this kind of ties in with what I was saying earlier about forsaking all for the kingdom of God. Some people kind of do the bare minimum when it goes for soul winning and they just, you know, have a very lukewarm attitude and of course God hates lukewarmness according to Revelation chapter 3. Some people will kind of just do the very bare minimum, they're like, well, you know, I do an hour a week or whatever but then they have plenty of other time to do it, they just use that time watching TV and doing other kind of stuff instead of actually, you know, working for the kingdom of God and you have to be, you have to look for opportunities to go out. I'm not saying, you know, you have to go out every day, I'm not saying you have to go out all the time but, you know, some people want to be good soul winners, they want to get a lot of people saved but they just don't take advantage of the opportunities that are presented to them. And then also when you actually are going out, sometimes there are people that are just like walking down the street, people that are outside, people that might not necessarily be at a door. I found that many times those are actually very receptive people, people who are just walking around, just doing whatever, who might not be that busy, maybe they're just like going to the store or something and walking to the store, riding their bikes, something like that, just hanging out outside. I find that those people typically are easier to get saved than people who are at their house because they're right there, you can approach them easily, you don't have to wait for them at a door or whatever. So even if you're going door to door, if you see somebody just like walking down the street, go and talk to that person, you know, don't waste an opportunity. We're supposed to preach the gospel to every creature, you know what I mean? We're not supposed to, well, all the doors but then the people that are just like outside just doing something else, we just ignore them. You have to be more persistent to find everybody, as many people as possible, to preach to. Another tip is to make the emphasis on the gospel and not on church. Now what I mean by that is not to, I'm not saying don't invite people to church, you should if you go to a good church, that's obviously a good thing to do and it's also a good icebreaker, but the thing is I find that a lot of people put the emphasis not on getting people saved but rather on inviting people to church and because that's their emphasis it doesn't really seem like their emphasis is on getting people saved or preaching the gospel. Many opportunities which they could have preached to somebody are turned down because the person that they talk to are rejecting their church and not rejecting knowing how to go to heaven. And let me give you an example of this, like there's some times where knock on a door and my soulmate partner will say, hey we're inviting people to church and then the person says, oh I already go to church, no thank you, and then like okay have a nice day. Now in that instance, and I've seen it many times and I used to do that myself, I used to say hey we're inviting people to church and many instances people have turned that down and closed the door because they think that you're there to invite them to a church when they already go to church or you know maybe they don't want to go to church, they don't go anywhere but they just don't want to go because they're busy on Sundays or whatever, that person still could have gotten saved. Just because they reject your church, they don't want to go to your church, they already have one, whatever, that doesn't mean they don't want to hear the gospel, okay, but because people are putting the emphasis on inviting people to church and not preaching the gospel, they're wasting an opportunity that they could have given the gospel to that person. So that's what I mean. Now again, you should invite people to church, I believe that, you know, I'll ask somebody if they go to church or not, if they say no then I'll give them, you know, an invite and I'll say you're welcome to come but more importantly than church, we're making sure people know for sure they're going to heaven. All right, or people who get saved, you know, obviously you want to invite them to get to church so they can get baptized and they can grow in the faith, etc, but the main goal of soul winning is to preach the gospel to every creature, that's what Jesus said, preach the gospel, go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature, you know, that's the first and main objective. These other things of, you know, convincing people of other doctrines or getting people to church or doing these other things, those are obviously important but those are secondary. The most important thing is making sure they know for sure they're going to heaven first before they do these other things. So that's another tip to let them know why you're there, that you're there to preach them the gospel, not just to invite them to church because that will for some people just cause them to close the door, say not interested or whatever, like hey I'm from a Baptist Church, I'm inviting you to our church. Some people don't like Baptist churches for whatever reason, that doesn't mean that they can't go to heaven, you know, obviously if they are not saved then they don't have the Holy Spirit so they're not going to know, you know, why it's good to go to a Baptist Church to begin with, right? Another tip is to explain things more thoroughly when you're at the door and some people don't really give or focus on some of the finer details, like, and again this is something that I struggled with when I first started going soul-winning and I actually do have a video on my channel where I gave an example of preaching the gospel, this was like four years ago or something, and I did a really poor job because I kind of just read a bunch of verses and did very minimal explaining and very minimal like examples or questions to make sure the person was understanding, so you have to be very thorough, it's not just, you know, reading some verses to them and then saying hey do you agree, because most times people are just gonna say yeah I agree when they don't actually understand anything you're saying, so you have to make sure at every single point that they're getting what you're saying and you have to use as many verses as possible and explain those verses, not just quote it to them but explain it to them to make sure they're understanding, so be very thorough even if it takes a lot of time, obviously we want to get people saved and as quick as the time as possible but we actually want to get them saved and not, it's not a race of, you know, you know, I can get people saved in like three minutes or whatever, you know, and obviously that is possible but it's very rare for something like that to happen because a lot of people have a lot of false doctrine implanted in their heads and you have to spend, you know, sometimes 10, 15, 20 minutes to get that false doctrine out and to teach them what the Bible really says, you have to be very thorough with it, so that's another tip, that's more for not getting more people to listen to you but the people who do talk, who you do talk to, to actually genuinely get saved and not, you know, you tell them some things and they're not understanding it, they're not getting it, it's not their day, you don't want to, you know, just preach to them for 15 minutes and then they don't get saved and then that happens again and again and again, you're wondering why that's happening, well maybe you're just not thoroughly explaining some of the points enough and you have to add some more verses, add some more examples, ask some more questions, you know, explain some more things, etc. And then one last tip, practical tip, is to pay attention and to listen to what the person you're talking to is saying and this is something that kind of baffles me about some people who are soul winners, who are new soul winners, that they'll talk to somebody who will say the wrong answer and they'll say, hey that's exactly what we believe, when I know that that person is saved and they know that's not the right answer but they're kind of just, it's almost like they're scared of preaching or they're like not listening to what the other person is saying, like I've been to doors where somebody will say like, what do you believe you have to do to go to heaven, they're like, oh ask for forgiveness, they're like, oh yeah that's what we believe, it's like, no it's not, we believe that you have to believe in Jesus and yes you have to, you know, ask Jesus to save you but asking for forgiveness, when most people say that and you'll learn this as you go so anymore, that when most people say ask for forgiveness they mean like that's a daily thing, that whenever you sin you have to repent of it, you have to ask for forgiveness, that kind of thing, Bible doesn't say you have to do that to be saved, you just have to believe in Jesus and yes your belief is expressed by calling upon the name of the Lord by asking to save you but that's not asking for forgiveness, that's not confessing your sins and I've heard other people say, you know, confess your sins and then the person says, yeah the Bible says, you know, if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, confessing your sins and confessing with your mouth the Lord Jesus are not the same thing, okay, confessing with your mouth the Lord Jesus means calling on his name to save you, confessing your sins, you know, although that's something the Bible does tell us to do, that's for Christians, for believers to have fellowship with God, 1st John chapter 1, right, so you have to pay attention and listen to what they're actually saying and another thing that kind of ties in with that is if somebody says something wrong or it's obvious that they're not saved, that they don't understand how to be saved, then don't keep asking them questions, just go and preach to them because sometimes people will just bother and it's just like bothersome and that will like kind of turn people down from the gospel because they don't want to hear it because the person who comes to them is just being annoying, like, okay, let me do an example, if you come to a door and you ask, do you know for sure you're going to heaven, and they say no, don't ask them what do you think you have to do to go to heaven, they already said they don't know, so they don't know they're going to heaven, that means they don't know how to get to heaven, okay, and that means they're not saved, okay, you don't have to ask them additional questions and if you keep asking them the questions that you ask at other doors where somebody gives a different answer, then really you're just bothering them, you're just pestering them, okay, it's not a questionnaire, you don't have to ask ten questions at the beginning, just ask enough questions to determine whether they're saved or not, like, do you know for sure you're going to heaven, if they say no, preach to them, if they say yes, then ask, how do you know you're going to heaven or what do you have to do to go to heaven, if they give the wrong answer, preach to them, if they give the right answer, ask them can they lose their salvation, okay, don't ask them if they can lose their salvation if they already give the first answer wrong, you know, if they say, well you have to repent of your sins, be a good person to go to heaven, don't ask them if they can lose their salvation because you already know they're not saved, so it doesn't matter what they're going to say with the second question, they're already not saved, so just preach to them anyway, because you know they're not saved, you don't have to keep asking them questions, anything that determines that they're not saved in any of the questions, take that as they're not saved and go preach to them, okay, if that makes, hopefully that makes sense because you don't want to, you don't want to waste your time with people and you don't want to bother people and just keep asking questions when you already know that they're not saved, you want to be as efficient as efficient as possible and you have to actually pay attention to what they're saying and listen to what they're saying in order for that to work, but I find that sometimes people just like are kind of doing it robotically, where they just, they're just so used to asking these three or four questions at the door that they just ask it to everybody regardless of what they say and they're just not even paying attention to the answer and that's a problem that needs to be stopped, if you want to be more effective, if somebody says no they're not sure and say hey the Bible says you can know for sure, can I share with you, don't ask them what you have to do, they already said they don't know, they're going to heaven, so why are you, why do you think they're going to say that you know they don't know how to go to heaven, so why are they going to give the right answer, you know what I mean, doesn't make any sense, so hopefully these tips have helped, like I said the most important thing are the spiritual tips, you have to abide in Christ, you have to abide in the Word of God, you have to pray whenever you go soloing, before you go soloing, just pray to God, ask him to help you, ask him to fill you with the Spirit, to fill you with boldness, to guide you to the people who want to hear, then also you have to put it into practice and eventually God will purge you so that you pray forth more fruit, and you have to be willing to get those things out of your life which are getting in the way of soul winning, you have to forsake the things of this world in order to you know seek the kingdom of God, because the Bible says seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you, don't worry about well if I go soloing am I not gonna have time to do these other things, God will provide for you if you seek first the kingdom of God, meaning you put that first, you put that as the most important thing in your life, God's gonna provide for your needs so don't worry about it, and then also these practical tips as well, just as a recap for those, go at times when people will be home, be more persistent to preach, so don't turn down opportunities, you have to preach the gospel, and if you find somebody just walking around, preach to them, another thing which I didn't mention earlier but which I'll mention now, is if you talk to somebody at the door, ask them if there's other people that are home, okay, oftentimes I find that that's actually an amazing time to get a lot of people saved, because especially if somebody you talk to is very receptive, if they have brothers or sisters or they have a wife or a husband or kids or something like that, another family member, another friend who's at that home right now, then you can preach to that person also, and they can also get saved, or you can even preach to multiple people, and get like you know three, four, or five people saved at the same house, you know that's possible, the other thing is to make the emphasis on the gospel, not on going to church, because the reason why we go out and preach the gospel is to preach the gospel, to get people saved, not to bring people to church, church is for the Saints, church is for people who are already saved, okay, so we're not just trying to invite as many people as possible to go to church, although we should, you know, want to save people to come to church, but if somebody's not saved, don't just think that them turning down, going to church is, you know, turning down the gospel, you should still ask them the questions, offer to preach to them anyway, even if they don't want the invite or whatever, you know what I mean, and then also explain more things thoroughly and pay attention and listen to what the person you're talking to has to say, and their responses to your questions, so thank you everybody for watching, I really hope this helps, you know, some of these things are things that I myself have only learned recently, and I just wanted to share them with other people, and obviously there's going to be other things over time, other tips, I want to even post on this channel if I learn new things, I want to be able to help share that with others, because I think all these things are important to put into practice, because soul winning is something that is difficult and is hard work, and it takes time, and it takes experience, and it takes learning from others, many of these things I've learned from other people as well, and watching other people, and it's understandable, you know, I'm not faulting anybody who doesn't put these things into practice, because you have to understand that, you know, all things in the Christian life are going to take time, it's not like you just get saved and you know everything of what you're supposed to do, it takes time and experience, and really when I started going soul winning, because I was at a church down in this town called Coolidge, where there was nobody who's going soul winning, I didn't really have anybody to go with, so I kind of just tried to do it on my own, and I was terrible at it, because I didn't know what I was doing, I kind of listened to some sermons about it online, and tried to like glean some tips from from the sermons and teachings, but even then there were, you know, a lot of a lot of things I could have improved on, and I didn't really start improving until I started going to Faithful Word Baptist Church, and I started going soul winning with other people who were much more experienced, and could teach me practical things like this, and then also from reading the Word of God, you learn these things about abiding in Christ, and God purging you, that you might bring forth more fruit, and having boldness to preach the Word, and understanding that soul winning is not just like any other secular job, it's not a secular job, it's a spiritual thing, it's a spiritual work, it's something you can't do without God's guidance, okay, somebody who's not saved can't get somebody else saved, because they don't have the Holy Spirit, okay, they can't be filled with the Spirit, they can't have the Spirit drawing anybody, you know, they don't have the Word of God abiding in them, so they can't get anybody saved, you have to realize that it's a spiritual work, and it's not just you, it's you and God working together, and that without God you can do nothing, you need Christ, you need his Word, you need prayer, you need to rely on him to help you, and to guide you to win people to Christ, so yeah, it takes time, and it takes seeking the Lord, and reading the Bible, and learning more scriptures, and you know, prayer, and all these things, in order to become an effective soul winner, and bear much fruit, and I hope many people who watch this, you know, put these things into practice, and win many people to Christ, so yeah, thank you everybody for watching, God bless you, and goodbye.
