Hello everybody, I'm back with another video and I'm going to be continuing the series Defending the New IFB in My Church Faithful War Baptist Church against the attacks of others, both brothers and just heretics, false prophets who just don't understand the Word of God and refuse to believe what the Bible says. And today I want to talk about the subject of the fact that Jesus is the Word of God and the fact that those who don't believe the Bible, those who deny the Bible, are not believers, they're not saved. I'm going to show you this in this video. Some people don't like this and they say that we're worshipping the Bible by saying that Jesus is the Word of God or that the Word of God is equivalent to Jesus, but this is simply what the Bible teaches and the Bible clearly shows us that those who reject the teachings of the Bible, they're not rejecting the Word of men, they're rejecting the words of God, meaning they're denying God. They're saying God is a liar because the words of the Bible are the words that came from the mouth of God. And this is something that should be so simple to those who are Christians, but for some reason people will say they believe that the Bible is inspired by God, but then they'll fellowship with and be okay with people just flat-out rejecting and denying clear scriptures on certain teachings. So one example that I heard in the past is this one guy, this was a couple years ago, this one guy online was attacking my pastor for saying that if you don't believe Leviticus 20 you're not saved, and they were taking out a context and saying well that's saying you're supposed to put these things in a practice to be saved. No, no, that's not what the issue is. The issue is people looking at what the Word of God says and saying I don't believe that. It's not about just them not doing what the Bible says because we all don't do what the Bible says from time to time because we're all sinners, but the point of the matter is that you can't say you believe in Jesus if you don't believe the Word of God because the Word of God is Jesus. It says in John chapter 1, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made. Now for some reason people just don't understand or refuse to understand or refuse to believe that when the Bible says word here it means word just like it means word in every other part of the Bible. It's not some magical mystical meaning that we can't understand and some people try to get their idea of what the word is from Greek philosophy and they're like oh well word is logos which is like literally just the Greek word for the word word. It's not like some different definition it's just the same word in a different language but they try to like dupe people by going back to the Greek and making it sound magical or something like that but really the word word just means word and every other time the Bible says the Word of God everybody knows what it's talking about but then all of a sudden when you get to John chapter 1 it's I don't know what this is talking about this must mean that you know this is just some special title for Jesus and we don't really know what that means. Well it says also in Revelation chapter 19 verse 11, And I saw heaven opened and behold a white horse and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and true and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire and on his head was many crowns and he had a name written that no man knew but he himself and he was clothed in a vesture dipped in blood and his name is called the word of God. So this of course is Jesus Christ on the white horse and notice that two names that are given to him are faithful and true and also again the Word of God as it says in John chapter 1. Now we already saw that John chapter 1 tells us that the word was in the beginning with God and was God but then this title of faithful and true is also something that the Bible says that the words of God meaning the things that he speaks are also faithful and true. Revelation chapter 21 verse 5, And he that sat upon the throne said behold I make all things new and he said unto me write for these words are true and faithful. Revelation 22 verse 6, And he said unto me these sayings are faithful and true and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants things which must shortly be done. So again it tells us that these sayings these words that God spoke those things are faithful and true and it says the one that sat on the white horse his name is called faithful and true. So again showing us that Jesus is the Word of God made flesh. There's a few other examples in John chapter 6 Jesus teaches this as well. John chapter 6 verse 35, And Jesus said unto them I am the bread of life he that cometh to me shall never hunger and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. Later he says in verse 48 he repeats this he says I am that bread of life your fathers did eat manna and the wilderness and are dead this is the bread which cometh down from heaven that a man may eat thereof and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven if any man eat of this bread he shall live forever and the bread that I will give is my flesh which I will give for the life of the world. Now of course the Roman Catholics completely misunderstand this and they think that you actually have to physically eat the body of Jesus Christ's actual flesh because they believe in this magical ritual that takes place at their communion that you know the the cracker becomes Jesus's flesh but Jesus explains what this means just a few verses later. Verse 63, It is the spirit that quickeneth the flesh profiteth nothing the words that I speak unto you they are spirit in their life. Now what did he just say he said it's the spirit that quickens meaning it's the spirit that gives life that's what the word quickens me and he says the words that I speak they are spirit in their life so the words that Jesus spake the Bible says that is how we find life and this is consistent with the rest of the Bible where the Bible teaches that we are saved by the Word of God right it says not of corruptible see but an incorruptible or being born again not of corruptible see but have been corruptible by the Word of God which liveth and abiath forever and it says this is the word which by the gospel was preached unto you so the Word of God which is preached according to the Bible is what causes us to be born again it says we're received with meekness the ungrafted word which is able to save your souls now six on the faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God so according to the Bible it's the Word of God that causes you to believe in Jesus and therefore get saved now Jesus said that the words that he spoke they are the spirit that quickens right and so what does he mean when he says I am that bread of life and you have to eat of my flesh he means you have to believe in the Word of God that's what this means right because Jesus is the Word of God made flesh he is the bread of life which came down from heaven and there's other places where Jesus compares his compares himself and compares the Word of God with bread such as when he says man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God right talking again about the manna that came down from heaven that's a quote from the Old Testament Deuteronomy chapter 8 right so the bread which came down from heaven represents Jesus Christ the Word of God coming down from heaven right because that taught the children of Israel that they were not supposed to just live by you know physical bread like we would think of but also by the Word of God because Jesus Christ is the Word of God come down from heaven it's not that hard to understand here's some other scriptures on the subject that show us that those who reject the Bible and who don't believe the Bible are not of God and this is a test for seeing who actually believes in Jesus and who doesn't John chapter 8 verse 47 Jesus said he that is of God here with God's words ye therefore hear them not because you're not of God so he explains why it is that the Jews in this chapter are not understanding what Jesus is saying and not believing what he's saying he says because he that is of God heareth God's words right so what does that mean it means that if you don't hear God's words then you're not of God it's that simple so if I preach to somebody what the Bible says and they say I don't believe that I reject that I refuse to believe that that person is not of God according to the Bible they're of this world they're of the devil as Jesus also said to the Jews in the context there in John chapter 8 here are some other scriptures that are very clearly of this are clear about this first John chapter 4 verses 5 to 6 they are of the world therefore speak they of the world and the world heareth them we are of God talking about Christians right Christians are of God he that knoweth God heareth us he that is not of God heareth not us hereby know we the spirit of truth and the spirit of error so how do we determine the spirit of error according the Bible well he that is of God he heareth us he that is not of God does not hear us so when we preach the Bible again if people just refuse to listen they just don't care what the Bible says they just don't believe it according to the Bible that person is of the world they're not of God right so this is the the test to determine whether somebody is of God or not it's not by their works as some people foolishly teach because salvation has to do with belief it has nothing to do with works so you don't determine if somebody's saved by looking at their works we determine if somebody's saved based on whether they believe the Word of God and receive it or not second John the Bible says in verse 9 whosoever that means anybody just like it does in John 3 16 transgresseth and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ hath not in God he that abideth in the doctrine of Christ he has both the Father and the Son so the doctrine again would be the teachings of Jesus the things that Jesus taught the things that Jesus said according to the Bible those who do not abide in the doctrine of Christ that shows that they don't have God so like if somebody for example they say they're a Christian but then they go into Danable heresy and they start rejecting the teachings of Jesus and teaching other things teaching things contrary to the Bible according to the Bible that person does not have God okay it's just like Jesus said he that is of God hearth God's words ye therefore hear him not because you're not of God right so again how do we determine if somebody believes in Jesus based on the fact of whether they believe God's words so I don't know again why this is so hard to understand or why people reject this because it's very clear in the Bible that Jesus is the Word of God made flesh meaning the spoken sayings of the Lord God took on a flesh and blood body just like just like you and me and dwelt on this earth and Jesus he is equivalent in authority to everything that's in the Bible that I have so everything that the Bible says is what Jesus said so if you don't believe what the Bible says and you don't believe Jesus you believe in your own Jesus that you made up in your own mind so this is why somebody who rejects the words of God rejects Jesus Christ right so how do we know who is really a Christian who is not if they believe what the Bible says because anybody who's of God here is God's words that's what Jesus clearly said you know who whosoever transgressed in the Biden on the doctrine of Christ have not got so if you go against what the Bible says if you deny what the Bible says you don't believe it you teach false doctrine you deny the doctrines of Jesus Christ you you know you deny the Trinity or you deny that we're saved by faith or you deny you know that Jesus the Son of God or just these very simple things and that person is not of God so that's what we mean when we say that you know Jesus is the Word of God so hopefully this makes sense and once again we're right and you're wrong if you don't believe that Jesus is the Word of God and if you think that somebody who rejects and doesn't believe the Bible and who denies the Bible is still saved oh because they believe in Jesus well which Jesus do they believe in there's only one Jesus there's the Jesus of the Bible you can't just make up a Jesus in your own mind say I believe in that Jesus Jesus is the Word of God paid flesh so if you don't believe the Word of God that you don't believe in Jesus why is that so hard to understand so thank you buddy for watching God bless you and have a nice day
