Matthew Stuckey here giving you another video on soul winning tips and in this video I want to describe to you how only Jesus Christ could die for us. Only Jesus Christ could die for us. And only Jesus Christ did die for us. And so one thing I've seen through the years of soul winning is that there's an increasing number of people that are unsure whether Jesus is the only way to heaven. And I believe the cults, the so-called Christian cults, are clouding the minds of people. And so they're confused on a lot of things that they used to take for granted. And this is something we need to be aware of as soul winners. And we need to be able to explain to people that only Jesus Christ could die for us. Now most everybody believes or at least knows of the fact that Jesus died for us. Whether they believe that or not, they're aware that the Bible teaches that. They don't necessarily understand why he died for us or what that means though. And so when it comes to Jesus Christ dying for us, number one, only Jesus could die for us because of the fact only Jesus Christ was perfect. Now I bring this idea of Jesus being perfect very early on during my gospel presentation. I mention it in Romans 3.10 as I say, there is none righteous, no not one. And I'll mention, but Jesus Christ, he was righteous. He was perfect. He always did right. He never did mess up. Now at that point early on during my gospel presentation, I'm not really trying to prove to them that Jesus is the only way to heaven. However I'm planting the seed inside their head so later on in case that's an issue, they're going to understand, okay, well Jesus Christ was perfect. This is the logical conclusion. This makes sense. So I mentioned that early on, but I also mentioned that again after I mentioned the fact that we are guilty and we need a savior in the verses in Revelation. And so I'll go to 1 John 3.5 where the Bible says, and you know that he was manifested to take away our sins and in him is no sin. And I'll explain how the reason why he was able to die for our sins and pay for our sins, and the reason why he came here to take away our sins is because of the fact in him is no sin. He was sinless. He was able to die for us because he was perfect. Sometimes I'll mention in passing throughout the entire Bible, you see that there had to be a perfect land without blemish with those sacrifices and offerings. And that was a picture of Jesus Christ would one day come and be that perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world. And I'll say, well, see, he was able to die for us because in him was no sin. And I'll mention, you know, Muhammad sinned, Buddha sinned, you know, other people sinned, but Jesus Christ was sinless. And that's the reason why he was able to die for us was because of the fact he was perfect. And he's the only one that was able to die for us and pay for our sins. Then I'll mention number two, that Jesus Christ, he died for all sins. And in 1 John 2, 2, the Bible reads, and he is the propitiation for our sins and not for ours only, which is referring to save people, but also for the sins of the whole world. And I'll say, Jesus didn't just die for you and me and other Christians, but he died for the sins of the whole world. He died for Hindu countries. He died for Buddhist countries. He died for Muslim countries. He died for Catholic countries, Protestant, Mormon, whatever religion you want to name. Jesus died and paid for their sins and see only Jesus Christ was perfect and only he was able to die and actually pay for our sins. And nobody else died and paid for our sins. So if somebody has come to the conclusion that they are guilty and they need a savior, whether they're in another religion or not. And then I show them that only Jesus Christ could die for their sins. And if it makes sense to them and they believe that, well, then that's going to help them reach the point where they take their faith away from some other religion or some other person and put that on Jesus Christ. And so for someone to be saved, they need to believe that only Jesus Christ could die and only Jesus Christ did die and pay for their sins. So two things you want to be able to present are that Jesus was perfect and show them that Jesus died for all sins, including those of other religions. But the so-called saviors they have or so-called prophets, those prophets didn't die and pay for their sins. Only Jesus Christ did. Now, I mentioned this in passing that I personally, after I mentioned that we all need a savior, in Revelation 21.8, I don't go to Romans 5.8. That's a very common verse people use, and that's a great verse, but God committed his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. In replacement of that, I mentioned 1 John 3.5 and 1 John 2.2. They're very close to the book of Revelation. They bring across the same point and the same thought, but I also think they bring a little bit more information as they make it pretty clear that Jesus Christ is the only one that could die and pay for our sins. So for me personally, I don't have Romans 5.8 in my gospel presentation. There's absolutely nothing wrong with having it though. It's a great verse. It's just not the route that I have decided to use in my gospel presentation, but what you're trying to describe and explain to them is that only Jesus Christ could die and pay for their sins and only Jesus Christ did die and pay for their sins, and that's a very important step for them to realizing that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. Anyways, thank you and God bless.
