Good singing. Welcome home again from Texas. We went to the Fire Breathing Baptist Fellowship Conference. It was a great conference. I would highly recommend going to it if they're going to do it next year. I think there was a spelling bee yesterday. I didn't get to see who won. But the preaching was great. It was a fun time. Lots of different activities were going on. Ice skating, of course you know that I didn't go ice skating. But I did something else that was more spiritual. No, I'm just kidding. But yeah, it was a great conference. It's still going on today. If you get a chance to listen to Pastor Shelley's sermons today, it'll probably be some good sermons to listen to. But anyway, on our bulletin we have our verse of the week. It says, Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark chapter 11 verse 24. That's a great scripture there. And our service times, our Sunday morning service is at 10 30 a.m. Our Sunday evening service is 3 30 p.m. Thursday Bible studies at 6 30 p.m. Tonight we'll be in Genesis chapter 28. And Thursday evening we'll be in 1 Corinthians chapter 13. And so it'll be the chapter on charity that I'll be preaching through. Our soul winning times are listed below. We have soul winning today. Please let Brother Brandon know if you're planning on going soul winning this afternoon. And I think we usually meet up about 1 15 to go out. It says 1 o'clock but it's usually 1 15 depending on how long the preacher goes before. So we do have a tight schedule here and some doesn't really allow us to have a lot of extra time doing other things. So sometimes we have to change things up a little bit. But anyway we also have regional soul winning times to choose from. If you look at what we have one of our regional soul leaders here brother Neb has made it this morning. The first time here at the building. It's good to see you brother Neb. And then we added in bold a Yakima soul winning time. So I took brother Robert out not because he's not doing it anymore but he's soul winning for the Spokane church. So I just took him out of there and I'm going to put brother Cody Chandler. So brother Robert still is doing this Tri-Cities time. But the numbers are associated with the Spokane church. But brother Cody Chandler I baptized him and his wife Alicia in Yakima. And he's been faithful doing a weekly soul winning time. And so I just asked him if he uses all of our materials anyway. So I just figured we put him in as one of our regional soul winning leaders. So and there's some people that are faithful there. Brother Daniel's there and then there's some other people that are going soul winning there also. So anyway I'll talk more about that here in just a few minutes. But Cody Chandler does have a time that he goes on Saturdays. And I'm sure if you're there anytime he'd probably be willing to meet up with you. So our prayers report so far we have six salvations for October. And last month we had 25. Year to date 390. 44 baptisms and last Sunday morning's attendance. And you can see that all there. And then today I'm starting a new preaching series. It's called The Right Kind of Preaching. So I'm pretty excited about that. It's just going to be a three week series. And then of course we got Halloween. So you can probably guess what I'm preaching about on Halloween. But anyway let's see October 16th. Which is this next Saturday we have our busy farms pumpkin patch. And today is going to be the last day to sign up. If you haven't signed up and you want to go. Then please sign up today. Make sure you're putting all your family members are attending. And if there's any child that's two and under. Please just mark that on your sign up sheet. So I don't accidentally pay for somebody that doesn't need to be paid for. You are allowed to invite guests. Yes sir. It's going to be 11 o'clock. Does that work for everybody? Is that too early, too late? Nobody wants to say anything? It's 11 o'clock. Sold. Anyway usually that's when the sun starts to come out around here anyway. You just never know. So we haven't done one this late before. Usually we do the first weekend. So hopefully the weather's going to cooperate with us. But even if it doesn't that's when you use the boots that you buy every year. You know those galoshes or whatever. What do you call them? Just the rain boots I guess. You put those on. Put them on your kids. And then just spray them down before you put them back in the car. And you know that's kind of the fun of it sometimes right. But it's nice to have a nice day. There's like a corn maze and just all kinds of stuff for the kids to do. There's a petting zoo and a big giant pyramid of hay they can crawl up. And there's all kinds. There's pumpkin launching. We usually have a good time doing that. And so just lots of good things to do. It's absolutely free. All you have to do is sign up and you can come. You don't have to be a family. You can just be a single person and come. It's an all church event. So and it's fully paid for. So anyway if you're planning on coming or if you need to cancel please let me know before tomorrow. Because if you're going to cancel I don't want to pay $14.50 for your ticket for you to not come. Okay. So but if you again if you have like a guest that you want to bring. Your family members a lot of times people bring their parents or their siblings or whatever. You can invite people. Just make sure you sign them up please. And let's see we got October. So this isn't in your bulletin because I kind of it's kind of a last minute thing. But next week. So after next week after next Sunday. Monday October 18th through 20th I am going to do a Yakima soul winning trip. So it's just going to be a three day thing. And so if you want to go. Anybody that wants to go needs to let me know. So I can book your hotel room. And I'm not sure if we're going to eat at Sea Galley every single night. But we'll definitely eat there one night. So but they have a good breakfast there. So obviously you can have breakfast while you're there. And we're going to plan on soul winning for at least four to five hours a day. And again if you bring your family. And you know somebody has to stay back while the other one goes out. Someone's dealing with the kids because kids usually can't go for four or five hours of soul winning a day. But I plan on leaving Monday morning. And doing an afternoon time slot for soul winning. And then Tuesday is going to be like a full day after breakfast. And then Wednesday I'm going to have a midweek service at the hotel. So we're going to have a midweek service in Yakima at the hotel like we did last time. And so anybody that's wanting to come to that is more than welcome to. Now I will warn you about this is that the weather in eastern Washington is different than it is here. So it seems like you think it's cold here. You know on the way to Yakima you're going to go through some passes and things like that. And so it could be snowy in those mountains. So I just wanted to warn you. If you're bringing the onion skin tires and the Toyota Corolla Remy. You might want to get some chains. I always tease him about that. Because he went on a preaching trip to. Where was it? No. Huh? Burns. Yeah. In a Toyota Corolla with bald tires. I don't know if they were bald. But like it's icy through there. And yeah Remy was pretty freaked out. Because if you've never driven in winter weather like that before and you don't have chains. You don't have snow tires. It can get a little hairy. So that's all I wanted to warn you about. If you're not sure about driving in inclement weather. You know you have to go through a mountain pass to get there either way. So if you're not scared then sign up and come. Or maybe someone you can hitch a ride with somebody or something like that. But I wanted to hit Yakima one more time. We were going to do it in October but I just wasn't sure. So but yeah I'd like to do it. And we'll try to get as many people saved as we can to finish off our season. You know it's seasonal here a lot of times for the sewing. I mean obviously we sew in all year long. But it's a little tougher to get to some of these areas. So if you're planning on coming. I need to know as soon as possible so I can book a room. So don't wait until the last minute. Because it might be sold out. I don't know there's always somebody. That's a busy hotel. Did you have a question Brother Robert? What's the day for again? 18th through the 20th. Now the 20th is a Wednesday. So if you plan on staying for the Wednesday service. Then obviously I'd have to book you a room for that night. And then we're still going to have service here on Thursday. So if you show up for that whole thing and then you don't come to church on Thursday. I'm going to be mad. So no I'm just kidding I would be. Secretly I would be. But you'll never know. It'll be just part of a sermon someday. No I'm just kidding. But anyway I still plan on having services here on Thursday. But it's just like a special thing. There's a lot of people that are over there and they're having a hard time. Find a good church to go to. I just want to encourage them. I want to encourage our church because it's very receptive over there. And we've been sold in a lot here. And the return on souls hasn't been very receptive has it? So I just want to maybe encourage us. And get us fired up. Because if you just keep going and going and going and nobody ever gets saved. It's pretty frustrating. But that doesn't mean you don't go. Amen. So anyway that's going to be the 18th through the 20th. Please let me know what days you're going and how many people are going with you. I guess I'll have to do some kind of a sign up or something. Where's Miss Rachel at? Is she here? Did you do the sign up for the pumpkin thing? Will you do the sign up for this? Alright cool. She's not going to say no to me. Right in the middle of the service. I will persecute you. No I'm just kidding. I appreciate it though. So yeah we need to get that as soon as possible. And even if it's like a virtual one online or something that we could do within the group. And you can – because you guys are doing like this living document. Is that what you guys are calling it? Is it like the Constitution or something? But if anybody's good at making these living documents. You could actually do – let's do one in our main zoning group. And then that way you could just update yourself and your family or whoever wants to go. Who's interested in going to this trip? Raise your hand. Who doesn't know? Alright some people are all on the fence doing this. Anyway so it's going to happen. I need you to sign up alright. And then October 27th which is a Wednesday. We're going to have a men's leadership class. We're going to restart that. We're going to ramp things or change things a little bit in the class. But it's basically the same. We're going to show up here at 6 o'clock at night. And you'll have a time to preach. So make sure you've got something ready to preach for that night. And then Wednesday. Now the reason why I picked Wednesday is because Tuesday always seems to have something going on. And Wednesday right now we don't have a soul anytime. So I just thought that would be the best day. Does that not work for anybody that's in the men's leadership class? Okay. Brother Sean. 6 o'clock. If it doesn't work for you, you know, I can always just send you a link online for the class and the reading material and all that kind of stuff. So anyway that's the 27th of October. And then the 31st is Halloween, which is not Hollywood at all. But it's a day where people go and they worship the devil basically knowingly or unknowingly. And that happens to be on a Sunday this year. So we're going to have a potluck after the morning service. And we're going to have a men's preaching night. So whatever you want to preach against that's concerning that, you're more than welcome to. If you just want to preach on sweetness and light, you can preach on that too. The light of the world is Jesus. Amen. And you put the light in the pumpkin and it lights up. No, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. But anyway, if you put John 3.16 on your pumpkin. All right. So and then November 6th we have, let's see, it's a men's safety team training. I'll have more on that later on. And then November 14th is Pastor Roger Jimenez preaching for us in the PM service. November 21st is the Thanksgiving potluck. I just put everything in here. I just might as well do a document dump here. Thanksgiving potluck service. And of course the church will provide the main meats and then just bring your best dainty dishes. And there will be a men's preaching night for the evening service. November 24th we'll have a Wednesday service, no Thursday service. So just make sure you note that. If you show up here on Thursday that night, the rapture didn't happen because, you know, we believe that's after the tribulation. But it just means that you forgot. So and then we have the December 19th Christmas service. That's where we usually have the children's choir. And so now it's time to start planning for that. Whoever, did Ryland volunteer for that? Was that who did it? I don't know. He's back there. Yes, he did. He's thumbs up. So we're going to have a children's choir. And then we're going to have our annual prime rib dinner for the morning service. Is that okay with everybody? We have a prime rib dinner? Okay, amen. All right. So lamb or prime. Eli can cook the lamb. I'll buy the lamb. You just got to tell me. I had a lamb shoulder when I was over in England. Lamb is big over there. Beef is really expensive there, so I don't think that they do a lot of beef. But the lamb shoulder roast just cooked for hours. Just falls right off the bone. It's really good. Anyhow, so that's the Christmas service. We're going to have prime rib dinner after the morning service. And then December 23rd, which is a Thursday night, we're going to do a candlelight service. So that's all I got for announcements on that. That was a lot. I understand that. But make sure you take note of all that stuff. And if you need to sign up for something, please sign up for it as soon as possible, especially the Acoma trip. We're a family integrated church. That means the children and infants are welcome during the church services. We do have available for you mother-baby rooms and a dad-baby room. The mother-baby room is right there. The dad-baby room is right there. And please take your children there if you need to utilize that. For training, for peace and quiet, or for changing diapers, or nursing, or whatever it is you need to do. The dads aren't nursing back there unless they're feeding them a bottle. But anyway, I want to say something about the mother-baby rooms and dad-baby rooms. They're not a place for you to talk about your problems. It's not a place for you to just, I mean, it's supposed to be you to go back there and be able to listen to the sermons. So I don't want people just having just all kinds of different conversations. Like when the preaching is going on, you should be focused on the preaching as much as you can. Obviously if your child is screaming, I understand that. Go back there, suckle them, whatever you have to do to get them to stop. But it's not a place where we go and talk about our problems, talk about our husbands. You know, husbands talk about your wives. It's not a place, it's a place of training. It's a place, you know, we're supposed to have the kids in the service and obviously sometimes that can't happen. But I just want to make sure that that's loud and clear so I'm not trying to get on anybody. I'm not singling anybody out. But I just want to make sure that that's the case because we have it piped in there so you can listen to the preaching and the music and all that stuff. All right, please reserve the back rows for families with young children. Rockers are for pregnant and nursing mothers and elders only. Please, no men allowed in the mother-baby rooms and vice versa. No unattended children in any area of the building, please. And here's the other thing, that room back there, I don't want your kids back there playing games during the services either, okay, including my grandkids. All right, so I know that that's an easy place to take someone out and whatever, but I don't want them shooting baskets during the middle of my preaching or playing ping pong or playing foosball, okay, or anything like that. I mean, we're in church, you can play at home, right? So anyway, please no food in the assembly area unless we're having like a special event. Silence your cell phones or put them on airplane mode if you wouldn't mind doing that, I'd appreciate it. Escorts to vehicles are still available by the ushers upon your request and online donations are available on our website. Or the text giving number that's there, the ties and offerings for September are in there. So I want to mention this real quick too. So it says September, we're in October. So but in order for, I always end up adding up the online donations. Usually it gets in there a week or so later, so usually you have to wait until the end of the month. So that's why it's still saying September, that's the total for September though. So and then next week we'll put what we got so far for October. So it is a little bit laggy, so just don't freak out about that. I just wanted to let you know that that's how we do that. And then we got birthdays and anniversaries. We got Jacob Alcorda's birthday is on the 16th. So we're going to sing happy birthday to Jacob and he's going to be five, right? He's going to be two. Two. I figured two, yeah. So what? Hold on a second. Today? Rylan! Bender! Okay, so Anthony. Rylan, add Anthony. And today's, I don't even know what the date is today. What is the 10th, right? Anthony, you failed me for the last time. Bender, I'll have to keep you until I find somebody better or you die. All right, let's sing happy birthday. Anthony, how old are you? 24? All right, let's sing happy birthday. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, God bless you. Happy birthday to you. All right, so that's all we have for announcements. I know that took a little while, but it was necessary. All right, let's sing another song and then we'll receive the offering. All right, our next song is going to be song number 144, A Mighty Fortress Is Our God. Song number 144, A Mighty Fortress Is Our God. Let's sing it out on the first. A mighty fortress is our God. A bulwark never failing. Our helper he amid the flood of mortal hills prevailing. For still our ancient foe does seek to work us well. His craft and power are great and armed with cruel hate. On earth is not his equal. Did we in our own strength confide our striving would be losing? We're not the right man on our side, the man of God's own choosing. Just ask who that may be. Christ Jesus, it is he. Lord, say they of his name. From age to age the same. And he must win the battle. And though this world with devils fail, should threaten to undo us. We will not fear, for God hath willed his truth to triumph through us. The prince of darkness grim, we tremble not for him. His rage we can endure, for lo his doom is sure. One little word shall fell him. That word above all earthly powers, no thanks to them abideth. The spirit and the gifts are ours through him who with the sighteth. Let goods and kindreds go, this mortal life also. The body they may kill, God's truth abideth still. His kingdom is forever. Amen. Good singing. Brother Ryan, could you bless the offering for us? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
