(Disclaimer: This transcript is auto-generated and may contain mistakes.) . . Well, good evening, everyone. Welcome back to Mt. Birch. Turn to your song books and turn to song 116. Song 116 in your song books. And if you would stand, we'll sing He Leadeth Me song 116. He leadeth me, O blessed thought, O words with heavenly comfort front, What e'er I do, where e'er I be, Still tis God's hand and leadeth me. He leadeth me, he leadeth me, By his own hand he leadeth me. His faithful follower I would be, For by his hand he leadeth me. Sometimes mid scenes of deepest gloom, Sometimes where Eden borrows bloom, By water still or troubled sea, Still tis God's hand and leadeth me. He leadeth me, he leadeth me, By his own hand he leadeth me. His faithful follower I would be, For by his hand he leadeth me. Lord, I would clasp thine hand in mine, Nor ever murmur nor repine, Content whatever lot I see, Since tis my God that leadeth me. He leadeth me, he leadeth me, By his own hand he leadeth me. His faithful follower I would be, For by his hand he leadeth me. And when my task on earth is done, When by thy grace the victory's won, In death's cold wave I will not flee, Since God through Jordan leadeth me. He leadeth me, he leadeth me, By his own hand he leadeth me. His faithful follower I would be, For by his hand he leadeth me. Well, let's pray. Heavenly Father, Lord, again, we just want to tell you we love you, and thank you for everything that you've done for us. Thank you, God, for your Word. Thank you, God, for the souls that were saved today and throughout last week. I pray, Lord, now that you would again just meet with us, and we love you, in Jesus' name, amen. All right, you may be seated, and turn in your song books to Song 145. Song 145 in your song books. We'll sing It Is Well With My Soul, Song 145. When peace like a river attendeth my way, When sorrows like sea bellows roll, Whatever my lot thou hast taught me to say, It is well, it is well with my soul, It is well with my soul, It is well, well with my soul, Though Satan should puff it, Though trials should come, Let this blessed assurance control That Christ has regarded my helpless estate, And hath shed his own blood for my soul, It is well with my soul, It is well, it is well with my soul, My sin, O the bliss of this glorious thought, My sin not in part, but the whole, Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more, Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul, It is well with my soul, It is well, it is well with my soul, And, Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight, The clouds we roll back as a scroll, The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend, Even so, it is well with my soul, It is well with my soul, It is well, it is well with my soul, Amen. So welcome back to Mountain Baptist Church on this Sunday afternoon. And I've got some announcements, but I wanted to get the numbers for the week as far as the soul winning goes. Did we have any throughout the week at all? Okay. I didn't remember any during the week. Today, what was our number today? One. Okay. One. One. So that's two. Three. Brother Jim? Who? Yeah. Wade. So three. Is there any others? All right. Good job. We got over the 600 mark, so that was the goal, right? No. Obviously, awesome with the soul winning there. I'm just looking at the dates on here. As far as we've done, we've done like a harvest party usually on Halloween day. But since with just everything, how everything's so close together, we may just do more of a like Thanksgiving harvest kind of party later on in November. So anyway, I mean, I know no one here is like celebrating Halloween or anything like that, but I think it just might be that's on a Monday. So how like the 31st is on a Monday. Just with the retreat and everything else, I think we need a little bit of a space between that and everything. So give us a little more time to enjoy that event once it happens instead of it just all being on top of each other. So we'll plan that out as far as when we do that. It'll be around Thanksgiving and maybe before, maybe after, depending on how we want to do it. Because I think like did we do also a fellowship for like Christmas? So we did like a harvest party on like the 31st and then we did like something. I think we did something around Thanksgiving and then we did like a New Year thing. Didn't we? I know we did New Year's because we built a barn and then we came to this New Year's thing and I was completely dead. That's what I remember. I remember wanting to sleep as soon as we got here at like 7 o'clock or 8. But this year everything is on a Sunday. No, but I think what we did is we, instead of doing like a Thanksgiving thing, we just did like a Christmas type of, yeah. So we'll figure it out. But I think just with everything, with the retreat and everything, I think it's going to be really close because it'll be just like a couple of weeks we're doing another fellowship. Let's space it out a little more. Too much time together, okay. I can only see you people so many times in a day or in a week, you know. All joking aside, we'll figure it out as far as what we're doing there. And then I do have a plan, you know, I know this is kind of in the future when it comes to Christmas. Although we do need to get the children's choir thing kind of started as far as that goes. Okay, so next week maybe we'll try to get that started up and find the songs that the kids are going to be singing. So, yeah, that means you're going to have to get into the Christmas spirit here. Anyway, when it comes to Christmas, Christmas is on a Sunday. So we're going to, we may do kind of like a special Christmas Sunday type deal so that people can kind of have time to spend with family and like eat and all that. So we may be doing like a kind of a, maybe like a Sunday morning but more of an extended Sunday morning. We're going to do the soul winning like probably on that Friday. Because I just have a feeling that doing soul winning on Christmas morning when everybody's like opening up gifts is probably not going to go very well. So we'll probably move that to like a Friday and like the Friday before and then, I don't know, we're going to figure it out. But we may have like hot chocolate, do some like singing kind of stuff and everything else and kind of make it a special big Sunday morning type of thing. And then the rest of the day you can kind of hang out with family, eat and all that. Okay, so we're going to figure that out, you know, as far as that goes. But yeah, so just kind of giving a heads up on that. As far as the service times today, everything is normal. Obviously today but on Wednesday everything is going to be normal as well. We have the regional soul winning times so just get on the WhatsApp there. I think brother Wade you're going to be leading up the Monday one this week. And then, but everything else should be normal there I think as far as I think brother Richie said he should be ready to go for Wednesday. And then the prayer meeting is on there. Chapter memory, 1 Thessalonians chapter 1, memory verse for the week is Isaiah 53 2. And we've got the birthdays, anniversaries and just being prayer for my wife there on the pregnancy list. And being prayer for any other ladies that might be pregnant that we don't know about as well. That's about all we've got for announcements. Brother David is going to sing one more song. Brother David is going to be reading John chapter 16. That's what I told you right? Okay. John chapter 16 and we're going to be finishing up the Lord's Prayer series tonight. So, yep. John 16. Do you want to write it? Okay. Alright take your song books and turn to song 153. Song 153 we'll sing How Firm a Foundation. How Firm a Foundation. Ye Saints of the Lord is laid for your faith in his excellent word. One more can he say than to you have he said. To you who for refuge to Jesus have fled. In every condition, in sickness, in health, in poverty's veil or abounding in wealth. That more and abroad on the land, on the sea. As your days may demand shall your strength ever be. When through fiery trials thy pathway shall lie. My grace all sufficient shall be thy supply. The flame shall not hurt thee I only design. Thy draws to consume and thy gold to refine. In down to old age all my people shall prove. My sovereign, eternal, unchangeable love. And when hoary hairs shall their temples adorn. Like lambs they shall still in my bosom be born. The souls of hath leaned for repose. I will not, I will not desert to its foes. That soul though all hell should endeavor to shake. I'll never, no never, nor never forsake. All right, take your Bibles and turn to John chapter number 16. John chapter number 16, brother David will read that for us. John chapter 16, if you're there say amen. And the Bible reads, these things have I spoken unto you that you should not be offended. They shall put you out of the synagogues. You're the time cometh that whosoever killeth you will think that you doeth God's service. And these things will they do unto you because they have not known the Father nor me. But these things have I told you that when the time shall come ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning because I was with you. But now I go my way to him that sent me and none of you ask me where the girl is now. But because I have said these things unto you sorrow hath filled your heart. Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is expedient for you that I go away. For if I go not away the comforter will not come unto you. But if I depart I will send him unto you. And when he is come he will reprove the world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment. Of sin because they believe not on me. Of righteousness because I go to my Father and ye see me no more. Of judgment because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he the spirit of truth is come he will guide you into all truth. For he shall not speak of himself but whosoever he shall hear that shall he speak. And he will show you the things to come. He shall glorify me for he shall receive of mine and shall show it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine. Therefore should I that he shall take of mine and shall show it unto you. A little while and he shall not see me and again a little while and he shall see me because I go to the Father. Then said one of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us? A little while and he shall not see me again and again a little while and he shall see me and because I go to the Father. They said therefore, What is this that he saith? A little while. We cannot tell what he saith. Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him and said unto them, Do ye inquire among yourselves that I said, A little while and he shall not see me and again a little while and he shall see me? Verily, verily, I say unto you that ye shall weep and lament but the world shall rejoice and ye shall be sorrowful but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. A woman whom she is in to avail hath sorrow because her hour is come but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish for joy that a man is but unto the world. And ye now therefore have sorrow but I will see you again and your house shall rejoice and your joy no man taketh from you. And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name he will give it to you. Here the two of you have asked nothing in my name, ask and ye shall receive that your joy may be full. These things have I spoken unto you in Proverbs, but the time cometh when I shall no more speak unto you in Proverbs, but I shall show you plainly of the Father. But that day ye shall ask in my name and I say not unto you that I will pray the Father for you. For the Father himself loveth you because ye have loved me and have believed that I came out from God. I came forth from the Father and have come into the world, again I leave the world and go to the Father. His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb. Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee. For this we believe that thou camest forth from God. Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe? Behold, the hour cometh, yea is not come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone, and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, and have overcome the world. Let us pray. Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for the opportunity to come back to church, and I thank you for the souls saved today, and I pray that you be with the pastor, and I pray that you fill him with your spirit. In Jesus' name, Amen. Amen. So you're there in John chapter 16, but I want you to go back to Matthew chapter 6. We'll be coming back to this passage, but we're going to be finishing up basically a series I was doing on the Lord's Prayer, or his model prayer, if you will. And we kind of went point by point, kind of bullet points, if you will, of what we should be praying for, or what Jesus is saying we should be praying for. Now obviously, this is God's word, so you can quote this off, and it's God's word, and it's true, and it's right. But I don't believe we're supposed to be just chanting this, like in this vain repetition. I mean, that's literally what he just got done saying in chapter 6, to not use vain repetitions. So when a Catholic church is using this in a vain repetition, that's obviously not what we're supposed to be doing. But in verse 9, let's read off this prayer that Jesus does here. In verse 9, it says, After this manner, therefore, pray ye. So it's after this manner. It's not saying like word for word, pray like this all the time. It's just saying, After this manner, therefore, pray ye, Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Now, if you went to Luke chapter 11, which you don't have to right now, that's where it ends. So really, at this point, this is really where kind of like where the crux of what you're asking for is done. But the last portion here is more of an ending. Basically, how do you end the prayer, right? How do you cap it off, if you will, as far as if you're done asking for what you're asking for. And notice what it says here. It says, For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen. And really, this is kind of an ending to just give glory to God and just praise Him for who He is. And amen is a word that just means truth, really. It's a word that, you know, just means like verily. Verily is the same type of word that's used, you know, as far as like amen. So when we say amen, like let's say you're in the sermon, I was preaching a sermon, you're like, Amen. What you're saying is that's truth, right? You're saying that's true. That's right, you know what I mean? You're like basically affirming truth. And basically, when He's saying, For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen. What's being stated there is that that's true. What I just said is true. Or you could say it in this manner, let it be true, right? Let it be so. Sometimes people say like let it be so, you know, as far as that goes. But really, it just means truth. That's exactly what that word means. And so, you know, now if you're in Congress, then, you know, apparently it can be a woman as well, you know, because they're morons. You know, like amen and a woman, you know. That's how smart you have to be to be in Congress or to be in the government, right? You also can just believe that islands are lily pads that can flip over if you put too many people on them. Going off on a tangent there. But amen just means truth. So when we end a prayer, we end it with amen. And this is something that you see in 1 Corinthians chapter 14, for example. When it's talking about speaking in an unknown tongue, which is just speaking in a language that no one else understands. And basically it's stating that when you pray in an unknown tongue, let's say I was going to pray here. Let's say I started speaking Greek to you and I was to pray. And then I say amen. How are you all supposed to say amen to that, right? You have no idea what I just said, right? So the idea though of saying amen is a very biblical principle when it comes to ending a prayer, okay? Jesus says it here in his prayer. He says amen. Go to Revelation chapter 5, Revelation chapter 5. When I see this, you know, basically this kind of ending, if you will, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever, amen. I believe it's, if you think about how did we start off this prayer, right? The prayer we started off, you know, our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. So you're kind of starting off with, okay, I'm talking to the Father who's in heaven. And where is he at? He's on his throne in heaven, right? When you look at Revelation 5 and 7, you're dealing with those that are before the throne of God and notice what's being said to God in both these passages, okay? So if you remember from the beginning where you're kind of at, where you're spiritually at, right? You're at the throne, right? You're speaking to, you know, and the Bible will use a term I'll show you later at the throne of grace, right? And you're coming before the throne, how do you end it, right? So imagine that you're standing before God and his throne and you're asking a petition, do you just say, hey, bye, see you later, you know? Like how do you end it? Like how do you close it off, right? And so I believe we should close it off with the fact of just giving the Lord honor and praise that he deserves and obviously ending it with amen. But in verse 11, so you're in Revelation 5, verse 11 there it says, And I beheld and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands. Now this is basically just saying it's pretty much innumerable, okay, is what that would mean, okay? Later on it talks about innumerable angels that are round about him. But we're at the throne, we have these beasts which are the seraphims for sake of argument, I'm not going to go through all that, but that's the seraphims that you see in Isaiah chapter 6. Then you have the elders, the 24 elders, you have the angels, it says, saying, With a loud voice worthy is the land that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven and on earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea and all that in them heard I saying, notice this, blessing and honor and glory and power be unto him that sitteth upon the throne and unto the land forever and ever. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshiped him that liveth forever and ever. So what do we see here? Well we see the same types of things being said because it says, For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever, Amen. That's how he ends it. Well we see blessing and honor and glory and power. So you see both those being used there and it even has the four beasts saying, Amen. Now these four beasts also say, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, you know, the whole earth is full of thy glory. And they're constantly saying this, but notice how we see the same things being said. Go to Revelation chapter 7 when we see the great multitude which is all the saved. So when Jesus comes in the clouds, this is the resurrection. So this is when I believe everybody from Adam to when Jesus comes in that timeline, that we're resurrected and we're standing before the throne and this is what's going to be said. So in verse 9 here it says, After this I beheld in low a great multitude which no man could number of all nations and kindreds and people and tongues, stood before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes and palms in their hands. So where are we at again? We're at the throne. It says in verse 10, And I cried with a loud voice saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne and unto the Lamb. And all the angels stood round about the throne and about the elders and the four beasts, fell before the throne on their faces and worshiped God, saying, Amen. Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be unto our God forever and ever. Amen. So you see the same type of thing that's being stated in both these passages that are really just giving, you're basically worshipping here. You're bowing down, you're worshipping, and you're just saying glory and power and honor and thanksgiving. And so when you look at this passage here where it says, For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Don't think that this is an all-inclusive list of what you should be saying. Does that make sense? It's a model. It's after this manner, right? But if you were to, at the end of your prayer, like thanksgiving and mercy and grace, you know, like when you were to add in things about God that you want to honor Him and worship Him with, you know, it's not like, Well, no, you shouldn't use that because it only said power and honor, you know, like it only said the power and glory, you know. It didn't say honor there, so I'm not going to use that. No, but you see the same things like power and might and honor and thanksgiving, wisdom and glory, and you can, as much as you want, give praise to God for who He is. You can say He's righteous, He's just, He's lovely, you know, like you could go down the line and give Him the honor that He deserves, and amen is basically saying that's truth. You know, you're basically affirming that it's truth. And it's a way to end the prayer, okay? Now, go to John chapter 16, which we just read. Now, one thing you may have noticed that in Matthew chapter 6 is that it didn't say in Jesus' name. Now, when we pray, we pray in Jesus' name, right? So when you think about how we pray, just on a simple level, right, we usually say like our dear Heavenly Father or our Father, you know, or however a lot of people will start it, you know, our Father, you know, just like this, just like this prayer. But when we usually end it, we say in Jesus' name, amen, right? Which is the way we're supposed to do it, okay? So here's why. Because in Matthew chapter 6, what you have to understand is you're still in the Old Testament, Jesus hasn't been glorified yet, and there is a change as far as, you know, Jesus basically being the high priest out of the order of Melchizedek and when that happens, okay? And that intercessory of being the high priest, the New Testament, the mediator and all that. So what I kind of want to get into here is that when you're reading Matthew chapter 6, don't think, well, you know, we shouldn't be using it in Jesus' name. It doesn't say in Jesus' name. It just says amen, right? You know, so I'm going to follow it to the T. Well, notice what it says here in John chapter 16, okay? In verse 22, just to give a little bit of context of what's being said here, it says, and ye now therefore have sorrow, but I will see you again. Your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. Now, the reason that he's saying this to them is because he's basically telling them that I'm going away, and in a little while I'm going to come back, and they're like, we can't tell what he saith, you know? I don't know why, but every time I'm reading through that, I'm just, it just goes back and forth. We can't tell what he saith, you know? It's just like going back and forth with this little while, little while, little while. Anyway, so he's basically stating to them that you're going to sorrow, but, you know, the joy's coming, and no one's going to take that joy from you, okay? So you're only going to sorrow for a little bit. But in verse 23, it says, and in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Okay, so notice that he's saying, in my name you ask the Father, but notice what it says in verse 24, it says, hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name. So you're making a point, you haven't asked anything in my name. At this point, you've just been asking the Father, which is nothing wrong with that, but he's saying, hitherto, right, basically up to this point you haven't asked in my name, okay? But he's stating, ask in my name, okay? And what's he talking about, he's talking about dying and raising from the dead, so he's basically talking about how this is about to happen, you're not going to ask anything, you know, when this happens, but you will, and you're going to ask it in my name, okay? So this is really when you get into the New Testament that you're asking in the name of the Lord Jesus, when you're praying, okay? But it says, hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name. Ask and ye shall receive that your joy may be full. I love this because it's not saying ask and you shall get, you know, like, saved. He's basically just saying, you want to have a good prayer life, you want to ask for things because you want to have joy, right? When you think about 1 John and having fellowship with the Father and the Son and walking in light, why is he writing these things? These things write me into you that your joy may be full. And the idea here is that asking the Lord for things and receiving them, we're going to have joy in our lives when we do that, okay? So we shouldn't look at prayer as being this drudgery of, like, duty, although, you know what, if you have to pray out of duty, pray out of duty, but in the end we should look at it as an opportunity, you know, an opportunity that we can have more joy in our lives, that the Lord will give us what we're asking, and, you know, we need to look at it as an opportunity, not a drudgery. And again, I'm preaching this sermon to me probably more than anybody else because I want to be better at praying. I want to increase in that area and be, you know, a prayer warrior as much as I can, okay? I don't think I'll ever claim to be a prayer warrior or, like, great prayer, but I want it to be the point where I'm having a joyful life because I pray, because I ask and the Lord gives, okay? But in verse 25 there says, These things have I spoken unto you in Proverbs, but the time cometh when I shall no more speak unto you in Proverbs, but I shall show you plainly of the Father, and that day ye shall ask in my name, and I say unto you, I say not unto you that I will pray the Father for you, for the Father himself loveth you because ye have loved me and have believed that I came out from God. So basically he's saying, you're going to ask in my name, and I love this because he's reminding, hey, it's not like the Father hates you and I have to, like, really work hard for him to get this for you, right? He's like, I don't even have to pray to him. I don't even have to, like, really, I don't have to say anything to him. It's just you asking my name. It's going to happen because he loves you and he knows that you love me. Does that make sense? And it really just shows you that there's not, like, this hardcore, like, God the Father's just up there, he's just angry and just doesn't love anybody, and then Jesus has to come in there and kind of soften his heart and everything. Remember this, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. So don't lose the fact that God the Father loves us. And that's kind of, I love how Jesus is throwing that in there saying, I say not that I pray, that I pray the Father for you. I mean, he's basically saying, as soon as you say it in my name, it's going to happen because the Father loves you, because you love me, and all that, okay? But I want to show you that distinction here, that at this point, his disciples haven't asked in his name. They haven't been praying and saying, in the name of Jesus, right? But that's changing, okay? So when you're looking through, like, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, and you see prayers happening or people saying amen, but there's nothing in there about in Jesus' name, there's a reason for it. Just as much as when you see people, when Jesus says, hey, go take your gift to the altar, where he tells the lepers, go up to the priests and give that which is, you know, basically lawful to give, you know, basically the, go keep the covenant, right? Do those things of the old covenant, because it hasn't ended yet. And at this point, Jesus isn't the mediator yet. Does that make sense? Like, he's not the mediator because the testament hath no power till the death of the testator, okay? And so, now obviously when it comes to salvation, everybody's saved by that testament. God regards that before it even takes force. So don't get me wrong here when it comes to salvation, but when it comes to how people are praying, it's not like someone would have been wrong to just say amen when they're praying to the Father before the New Testament started, okay? And he's not rebuking them saying, why haven't you been asking this in my name? He's just saying, hitherto you have, but you will, okay? And ask in my name. So go back to John chapter 14, John chapter 14. John chapter 14, just so you know that this isn't just like in one place where it says in his name. John chapter 14, verse 11, it says, I'm sorry. John 14, verse 11 says, believe me that I am in the Father and the Father in me, or else believe me for the very work's sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me the works that I do, shall he do also in greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. So notice that when you're asking in the name of Jesus, you're glorifying the Father's being glorified in his Son, right? Does that make sense? It's not like you're taking away from the Father by saying in Jesus' name. You're really just, every time you're saying that, you're stating that you're recognizing. It's more of a recognition, like I know this is in Jesus' name, because Jesus is the Son of God, he is the Savior, he is the Christ, and it's just this recognition, and God the Father is glorified by that. So it's not taking away from the Father to do this, it's actually glorifying the Father when you say in Jesus' name. Okay, go to John chapter 15, John chapter 15 and verse 16. And notice that the Father is going to give it to you. It says here that it says, I will do it, so Jesus is saying, I will give it to you. And John 15 and verse 16, it says, Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My name, He will give it you. Now, notice this, too, that when it says you ask in His name, there's all these other things that have to be there as far as you're doing those things which are pleasing in His sight. When you're bearing fruit in Jesus' name, then it's saying, I will give it to you. That there are things there as far as going through this whole praying process here, that if you want to have your prayers answered, the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. But there's a lot in there. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Do you see that there's different things that are encompassed in that, that if you want your prayer, you want to have confidence, then you ask according to His will. You want to have confidence in your prayer, then you do those things that are pleasing in His sight. You want to have confidence in your prayer that it's going to be answered, then you're fruitful and that your fruit remains, so that when you ask in Jesus' name, He'll give it to you. But it's in His name. So when we're seeing this, one, we're ending the prayer with basically a bunch of praise and worship to the Father. And I think that one way to approach this when it comes to, how do I apply all this? I've done these sermons as far as these bullet points. How do I put it all together? Well, just take each sermon or basically point and say, okay, you can even have a checklist. I want to make sure I'm praying for His will to be done on this earth. I want to pray that basically He gives me my daily bread. And you can branch out from that as far as what you want to add to that as far as what do you mean by that. Please, Lord, I want to make sure that I always have bacon and butter in my fridge. And you can listen. If you don't ask, you don't receive. But when it comes to this, you can outline different things. But when you're praying, you should have this outline. And I think that this should... I'm not telling you how much to pray or how much not to pray or whatever, but I think we should try at least once every day, whether this is in the morning, whether this is at night, whether this is in the middle of the day, that you take this principle and make this serious prayer. Because sometimes we pray, and it's kind of like this prayer of... It's a real quick prayer. It could be like you're praying for your meal. You're like, Lord, please bless this food to the nourishment of our body. In Jesus Christ's name, amen. And I don't think there's anything wrong with that. So let me be clear on that. But I think that we should all... And I'm going to definitely try to implement this every day if I can. And I think if we do this and you try to stay consistent with it, it'll help out. That once every day you take the time to say, hey, I'm going to go through this list of what we should be praying for, and I'm going to, one, try to focus in on who I'm talking to. I'm talking to the Father. I'm coming to the throne. And I'm speaking to my Heavenly Father who loves me. And you're basically stating that, hey, I want your name to be glorified in this world. It needs to be hallowed. It needs to be holy in this world. And going down the list as far as things that we should be praying for in that list and that we ended with the fact that we're praising God for who He is, what He's done for us, praising Him, and just in Jesus' name, amen. And just really taking a note to purposely say, I'm going to make a point to have this, one, I know I'm taking this super seriously. Does that make sense? I think that'll help in our prayer life that we set apart, hey, I've got to have this one time, at least one time during the day, where I'm taking it really seriously. And I'm really trying to get ahold of them, and I'm really trying to be honoring in how I'm speaking to the Lord, or laying in bed and praying that the Lord keeps our family safe and all that, and then it's just like here and there throughout the day. And I'm not discounting that, okay, because I think we should pray whenever we can pray. But I think that if we take it seriously at least once a day to really just try to hone in who we're speaking to and giving that honor where honor is due, I think it'll help us have a better prayer life. And the more you do it on a consistent basis, the easier it's going to get. So at first it may just be like really hard to get into that routine of doing it. I suggest obviously picking like a time, like a specific time during the day that you're going to do it, whether it's in the morning, whether it's at night, whether it's in the middle of the day, whatever, and then you pick that same time every day because I think that's a better way of being in a routine than like all over the place in the day. But I challenge every one of you to do this. I'm obviously going to try to implement this to where I'm really taking time to just have a serious prayer to where I start it and end it in a very serious manner. I'm sure you've all been there where you started praying, and it may even start off very serious, and then it's just like you lose your train of thought, you're thinking about other things, and you're completely like, oh, yeah, I was supposed to be praying. Now I'm like thinking about this over here. We've all been there. I'm just being real with you. I'm not immune to that happening. But I think if we focus in on like, hey, I'm starting this prayer, I'm not thinking about anything else until I get done with this prayer. My mind is focused on what I'm trying to accomplish here, who I'm talking to. And standing before the throne, you just start thinking about other things. You're like, where am I? And then you're thinking about other stuff. Think about where you're at. You're right here. Focus, okay? And this is something that I think we should all try to work on. And again, I'm preaching to myself when it comes to this. But when it comes to Jesus' name and praying in His name, know this, is that the Bible says, go to Ephesians 1, that the Bible says in Ephesians 1, in verse 15 there, Ephesians 1, verse 15. So just to kind of give you an idea of why it's in Jesus' name, it's not for no reason. One, in Matthew chapter 28, it says that Jesus says, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. So I mean, all power is given unto Him, and I'm going to say it in Jesus' name. That's a powerful person to be regarding when you're praying to the Father because He's the second person of the Trinity, and obviously the Father has given Him all power that's in this world. And so in Ephesians chapter 1, in verse 15, it says, Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers. He's making mention of them in His prayers in Jesus' name. Because notice what it says down in verse 20, it says, Which He wrought in Christ when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, in every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. Jesus' name is above every name. It says in Philippians, go to Philippians chapter 2, Philippians chapter 2. And when it says in His name, we're talking about the name of Jesus, by the way. Not Yahweh or Yeshua or whatever, that people are just trying to make up. And you say, well, you're making fun of that, that's the Hebrew way. No one knows that that's how it's pronounced, first of all. But second of all, the name of Jesus is in the New Testament, which is a Greek New Testament, which we got. We don't have it in Hebrew anyway. So when it comes to that, they're just making up stuff. We don't know if they ever called Him by anything other than the Greek name that we have seen in the Bible when they were talking to Him when He was walking here on the earth. Now, chances are they were speaking in maybe Aramaic or maybe some type, or even Hebrew or anything like that. But what we have written down is in Greek. So don't lose sight of the name of Jesus, the importance of the name of Jesus, and don't let these people bully you into thinking, no, that's not the real name or whatever. In Philippians 2 and verse 5, it says, Let this mind be in you which is also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself into a reputation and took upon Him the form of a servant, was made in the likeness of men, and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore, God hath highly exalted Him, notice this, and given Him a name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow of things in heaven and things under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. So what name should we be using when we're saying in His name? In Jesus' name. I mean, later on, I mean, in Acts, I'm not going to have you turn there, but in Acts, it talks about them baptizing in the name of Jesus, in the name of the Lord Jesus, right? So there's cases where they're literally saying in the name of Jesus, and you have even people that aren't saved that are like, you know, in the name of Jesus, which Paul appreciates. So they know that when they're casting out devils, they'll say in the name of the Lord Jesus, okay? When they're baptizing people, they're baptizing in the name of the Lord Jesus, not only, though, I mean, the people are just like, I only baptize you in the name of Jesus, right, instead of the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Ghost. But His name is above every name, and that name is what we should be ending our prayer in, in the name of Jesus. It could be in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, you know, I don't think there's anything wrong with saying in the name of Jesus, because in some places, it just calls them Jesus, right? So I don't think it's disrespectful. I don't think you have to say, the Lord Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, like you don't have to put on everything. You could say in the name of Jesus Christ, you could say in the name of Jesus, you could say in the name of the Lord Jesus. You know, obviously, I don't think that it's like God has cut throat when it comes to how, what, you know, portions of who He is is being attached there, okay? But Acts chapter 4, Acts chapter 4, just to give you another one here, just the importance of the name of Jesus, okay? When it comes to other things, when it comes to salvation, when it comes to how we're baptizing people, when it comes to casting out devils, you know, I mean, when it comes to any of this stuff, His name is very powerful, and it should be invoked. And how much more when we're praying? And Jesus is obviously commanding us to pray in His name, okay? Now, in Acts chapter 4 and verse 10, Acts chapter 4 and verse 10, notice what it says here, it says, But be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him that this man stand here before you whole, this is the stone which was set at naught of you builders, which is become the head of the corner, neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. What name is that? Jesus. Now, usually we just read that verse, neither is there any salvation, neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. But go back a few verses, and you'll see that's the name of Jesus, okay? So, obviously Jesus Christ of Nazareth, you don't have to say Nazareth, but obviously who's he speaking to? He's speaking to people that were Israelites, and he's saying, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, making a point that we're talking about that Jesus, the Jesus you crucified. And because what was written above, what was written above Jesus, what was his superscription? This is Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the king of the Jews. And so, he's making a point, that's who I'm talking about. It's in his name, okay? So, you know, now everybody's going to be praying in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. There was a man, there was a man at the church I was sent out from that always said that. He'd always ended in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, you know? And I think he's missing the point of the context of that verse, right? When it comes to why he's bringing up Nazareth, right? So, don't take it so far to be like, I must say Nazareth, or I didn't end that prayer right, you know? Or being over spiritual, to where you're just like, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Lord and Savior, you know? And just like go on this diatribe on like all the accolades and all the names of Jesus that you can think of to end the prayer. Now, if you want to do that in your prayer, I'm not against it, okay? But a lot of times people are very showy when they pray. You know, they're praying out loud and they want people to know like, I know all these names. You know, look at how spiritual I am. I'm going to attach every accolade, you know, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Lord and Savior, the Word of God, the Word made flesh, and just go on and on and on about, you know, his titles. The King of Kings and Lord and Lords, the only wise and, you know, true potentate, you know, like just going on down the line. It's like, okay, but why are you saying all this, you know? Now, like I said, in your prayer, you could be saying that stuff and that would be all true, and you could be praising God as you're praying to him and stating that, okay? So don't get me wrong to think that all that stuff isn't good in your prayer. It's just you've got to be thinking about why you're saying it, right? Go to Hebrews chapter 7, Hebrews chapter 7, and like I said, the idea here is that when you see that Lord's Prayer there, that model prayer, you don't see in Jesus' name, amen, right? And I believe it's because we're in the Old Testament still when he's stating this, and at that point, he's not the high priest after the order of Melchizedek because when did that happen? I believe that Jesus was the high priest after the order of Melchizedek when he rose from the dead, okay? Because it couples, you know, this day have I begotten thee, with in another place, thou art a priest forever after you are in Melchizedek, right? And it puts these two together, and when it says this day have I begotten thee, thou art my son, and this day have I begotten thee, it's clearly talking about the resurrection. When he rose from the dead, it says this day have I begotten thee. Why? Because he's the first begotten of the dead. He's begotten him again from death and hell, and when it comes to him being the priest, Moses says Hebrew chapter 7 and verse 14, it says, for it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Judah, of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood, and is yet far more evident for that after the similitude of Melchizedek there arises another priest who is made not after the law of a cardinal commandment but after the power of an endless light, for he testified thou art a priest forever after you are in Melchizedek, for there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof, for the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did, by the which we draw an eye unto God. And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest, for those priests were made without an oath, but this with an oath by him that said unto him, the Lord swear and will not repent, thou art a priest forever after you are in Melchizedek. By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament, and they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death, meaning that there was a lot of them, right? They were dying, living, dying, you know, going on down the line. And it says in verse 24, it says, but this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood, wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make what? Intercession for them, for such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens. When Jesus was made the high priest out of the order of Melchizedek, it's stating that the Levitical priesthood is done, right? It's been changed. There is a change of the law. There's a change of priesthood, okay? And it's making a point that it doesn't even come out of Levi. Jesus didn't come out of Levi. He came out of Judah. And he's saying that this isn't after that priesthood at all. It's after the order of Melchizedek, which Melchizedek states earlier in the chapter, I believe is a pre-Old Testament appearance of Jesus, where he's actually there in the flesh, but not flesh and blood, okay? And Melchizedek didn't have beginning of days nor end of life, had neither father nor mother, meaning that physically speaking, he didn't have a father, he didn't have a mother, didn't have beginning of days or end of life. He basically didn't have any time where he was born or that he died. Where Jesus, obviously he was physically born into this world and he had the blood of Abraham and he was the seed of Abraham and all that, okay? So that being said is that he ever liveth to make intercession for us. Now that term intercession is maybe not a term that we use a lot, but go to 1 Timothy chapter 2. 1 Timothy chapter 2, intercession is dealing with, I believe, prayers, okay? He's making intercession. Now it talks about the Spirit also having intercession, okay? So this isn't a sermon about the Holy Spirit though, interceding for us. So when we pray, obviously the Holy Ghost is involved too. So when we're praying, all three are involved in prayer. We're praying to the Father in Jesus' name and the Spirit is making intercession as well because there's some things that we don't even know what we ought to pray for. Does that make sense? That basically the Spirit's kind of intervening for things that we know we want and we're trying to desire to communicate, but we don't even know how to bring that forth to him. The Spirit is making groanings and utterings which cannot be understood. Meaning this is that it may be a desire that you can't even put the words. It could be a request that you can't even put the words and the Holy Ghost is interceding there, okay? So when we're talking about interceding, just to give you a quick little view of the fact that we're talking about prayers, essentially, basically interceding for us and speaking for us, if you will. Kind of speaking on our behalf and making a request on our behalf. In verse 1 here it says, I exhort therefore that first of all supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men. So what are we talking about? We're talking about prayer, right? I mean, he's kind of using different words to explain the same thing. Supplications, or obviously prayers, intercessions. They're obviously different words and I'm not saying they're the same word, okay? But they're talking about the same thing, right? You're bringing a supplication before the Lord. You're bringing a request, right? You're requesting something. You're praying, meaning you're asking for something. You're interceding for somebody. You're praying because you're praying for someone else. Does that make sense? Like if I was going to pray for, let's say, someone has an issue and they're like, hey, pray for me, brother. I'm praying, I'm interceding for them, right? I'm not praying on my behalf, I'm praying on their behalf, okay? So when we're talking about interceding, that's what we're talking about. Notice what it says, For kings and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, for this is good and acceptable in sight of God our Savior, who will have all men to be saved and come into the knowledge of the truth. Notice in verse 5, For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. So when you're dealing with this, is that God, or that Jesus is the mediator between the Father and men. Not Mary, by the way, okay? Mary, you know, the mother of Jesus, is the mediatrix between us and Jesus or anything like that. No, we go straight to the high priest himself, and Jesus is the mediator between us and God the Father, okay? So when we pray in Jesus' name, we're praying in his name so that he intercedes for us, right? But Jesus does remind us saying, Know this is that God the Father loves you. It's not like it's this whole, you know when you bring a request to like City Hall or something like that, you're like, well this might happen in this millennia, you know? Like when you bring a supplication or request, you're like, when are they ever going to hear this, right? And you have someone trying to intercede for you in that, that whole rigmarole. What Jesus is showing us is that there's not like this big long process where you're praying and Jesus is taking this and be like, this might take a while. And he's like going to the Father and interceding. No, it's more so the fact that like it's immediate, you know? When you pray in his name, he's obviously interceding, but at the same time, he's saying, I don't even need to pray that because he knows that you love me, he knows what you, he loves you just as much as I love you, and it's just really showing you that there's not this huge disconnect. At the same time, there had to be that intercessor, right? That the man Christ Jesus is interceding for us, meaning that he became one of us, he's completely righteous, and we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And even when we sin and there's basically a separation there as far as our fellowship with God the Father, Jesus is there to intercede for us, the Holy Ghost is there to intercede for us, and you know, all that is true. And even down in verse 8 there, it says, I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands without wrath and doubting, and dealing with just prayer in general, but knowing that obviously Jesus is the mediator and we're coming to the Father in Jesus' name and the Holy Ghost is there basically to help us in anything that we need to say. And so God as a whole is there with us when we're praying. And go to Hebrews chapter 4, I'll end with this, we'll be done. Is that, like I said, when it comes to prayer, I think one thing that will help us to be better at it, Anna stop doing that, that will help us basically better our prayer life is realize that this shouldn't be a drudgery, but basically we should be looking at it as a benefit, okay, that we have the opportunity to come to God in prayer. Because if you realize that God wants to give you a lot of things, if you just ask for it, then look at it as this great opportunity, like if I just ask for what he wants to give me, what's his will to give me, it's going to happen. I mean can you imagine that God's like, I want to give him this, he just needs to ask me and then I ask and he's like, ah, maybe not. No, it's I want to give him this, he just needs to ask me for it, he asks me for it, there it is. And we should look at it as an opportunity because he wants us to do this so that our joy may be full. And he also wants us to be productive, he wants us to obviously do great works for God and fulfill the great commission, see souls saved, and if you're asking for things that are going to help that cause, how much more does he want to give it to you? But remember, you have not because you ask not. And we need to look at it as an opportunity that we need to seize upon. Can you imagine if we get to heaven and we're looking at it like, these are all the things that you could have had if you just would have asked for it. These are the things that you wouldn't have had to deal with if you just would have asked. And again, I'm preaching that myself because there's a lot of times where I'm just like, man, I feel like I'm just not praying like I should, not asking for the things that I should. And we should be fearful that we're not asking for the things that we should because, you know what, he doesn't have to give it to us if we don't ask for it. And Hebrews 4, and a lot of times God gives us things that we don't ask for because God is gracious and merciful. He's a great God. I mean, He doesn't have to, but He does. In a lot of cases, we'll get all these blessings and it's like, I didn't even ask for them, but I got them anyway. But how much more if we just ask Him for it? Now, in Hebrews 4 and verse 14, know this, is that when we have this mediator, we don't have this mediator that has no idea what we're going through. When we're praying, Jesus knows exactly what we're going through from first-hand experience. Notice what it says in verse 14. Seeing then that we have a great high priest that is passed into the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. What's so important about that we have this great high priest? Because He ever liveth to make intercession for us. We have this great high priest that's after the owner of Melchizedek that will never die, that will always be there to make intercession for us. He's not only able to save us to the uttermost, but He also intercedes for us on a daily basis. And so we need to realize, hey, seeing we have that, and then it says we need to hold fast our profession. It says, for we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Here's the difference between Melchizedek and Jesus. Though Jesus obviously is Melchizedek, I believe, but He wasn't tempted in all points like as we are. He wasn't flesh and bone, flesh and blood. Or He was flesh and bone, He wasn't flesh and blood is what I mean to say. But it says we have this high priest, he knows what we went through, he was tempted like as we are, yet without sin, and he's able to succor those that are tempted. He's able to help those that are tempted. And then it says in verse 16, Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Here's the conclusion of the whole matter, when it comes to understanding how to pray, is that He wants us to come boldly unto the throne of grace. Let us do it. What's stopping us from doing it? So when we understand, okay, here's what we should be praying for, here's the attitude we should be having when we're praying for it, we need to take it seriously. And I challenge everyone, I'm challenging myself to do this once a day. This week, I want you to do this once a day. I don't care what time of day it is that you do it. I don't care if it's at midnight, whatever. You wake up and you're just like, it's 3 o'clock in the morning, I haven't done it. Do it then, I don't care. But the idea here is that once a day this week, I challenge you, starting, you can start tonight, you can start tomorrow, but once every day this week, just take the time to really just hone in and recognize who you're speaking to, give him the praise and honor he deserves of who you're speaking to, and then go through those main bullet points as far as praying that God would feed my family, praying that God would give me knowledge in the Word of God, feed me not just with bread, but also with the Word of God on a daily basis, and praying for all these different things that he forgives us. Confess your sins before the Lord, and just take it seriously. And in the end, give him the praise that he deserves in Jesus' name, and do that every day this week, just once. And I think it'll help us get into a routine to where we're taking prayer seriously. And I'm not saying, like I said, when it comes to this, I'm not saying that when you pray for your meal or you're just like, okay, I'm over here, and someone said I need to pray for them, and I only got a few minutes to quickly pray to the Lord and say it in Jesus' name, amen, and you're praying to him. I'm not discounting that, and I'm not saying, like, don't ever do that again. What I'm saying is that take the time to at least make one. Think about it. Daniel did it three times a day, right? Where he would make a point to open up his windows and point a certain direction and pray to the Lord. Let's start with one, where we make a point that's a conscious decision to say I'm doing this right now. I also find that to really get serious and to really get into mode is to get on your knees if you need to. Have a spot where you're by yourself, no distractions, you throw your phone off to the side, and just take that time. And I'm not saying this has to be, like, an hour, like, sweet hour of prayer here, okay? This doesn't have to be super long, but it just needs to be sincere, serious, to the point, and you're there, present with the Lord, speaking to him that whole time. And, you know, I think it'll help. I think that if we take that seriously, we can really get a hold of the Lord. Because we want to obviously be a church that does great work for God. We want to be a church that reads the Bible, memorizes the Bible. But let's not be lacking in anything, right? Let's not have anything where we're just like, yeah, we got these things down, but this area is lacking. I always think about the churches in Revelation when it says, you know, all these things are going for you, but a few things I have against thee. And I don't want it to be said, like, listen, Mountain Baptist Church, they can win souls, like, nobody's business, they're all about the Great Commission, so praise the Lord for that, but man, they just learned to pray a little bit, you know? And maybe there are prayer warriors in here. Listen, I'm not in your house, I'm not in your minds, like, knowing whether you're praying. And there may be some people in here that say, you know what, I do take it seriously, and great, keep it up then. But I'll say this, even those that are doing a good job, we can always improve. So I take this as a challenge, I'm taking it as a challenge to really get serious about prayer, and not just saying it, not just preaching about it, but actually saying, you know what, I'm going to take a set time each day this week, this week, and do it, and then the next week, guess what? I'm going to do it again, you know? The idea here is that it's not, like, one week and be like, well, man, that was hard, got through it. The idea here is that after you do it for a week, it should be easier next week, and then it should be easier the next week, and then it just becomes second nature on how you approach prayer. And then maybe you up it to twice a day. Maybe you're like, you start your day off that way, you end your day off that way. And maybe you'll dare to be a Daniel, you know? And do it three times a day, you know? But hopefully these sermons have helped out. Again, sometimes I preach sermons or series because it's stuff I need, you know, I want to study it, I want to really get into it and think about it. And so, you know, if I need help on something, maybe there's an off chance that someone else needs help on something or needs preached on something. But let's end with a word of prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for today, and just thank you for your word. Thank you for this model prayer that you've given us. And help us to get ahold of you on a daily basis. Help us with this challenge of really just taking prayer seriously and getting ahold of you and kind of going through the prayer as you have laid out for us how you taught your disciples to pray. And Lord, as your disciples today, I pray that you would continue to teach us to pray. But help us to take it seriously, help us to not lose train of thought when we're praying, to really think about who we're talking to. And we do pray that you would answer our prayers and that we'd have our joy fulfilled in this life. And Lord, just pray that you be with us throughout this week as we go back to work. Thank you for the souls that were saved. I pray for many more to be saved this week. And just pray that you bless our church. Be with those that aren't feeling well. And Lord, we pray that you bring us back at the appointed time. And Lord, we pray all this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen. But today we'll come and sing one more song, and then we'll be dismissed. All right. Take your songbooks and turn to song 208. We'll sing Grace Greater Than Our Sin. If you would stand, we'll sing song 208. Marvelous grace of our loving Lord Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt Yonder on Calvary's mount outpoured There where the blood of the Lamb was spilt Grace, grace, God's grace Grace that will pardon and cleanse within Grace, grace, God's grace That is greater than all our sin Sin
