She fell down our basement stairs right before Well right after we got done soul winning and all that so she's got a busted lip, but Hopefully she doesn't have a concussion or anything like that. That's kind of the biggest worry So just be in prayer for her and that that's nothing serious but but yes, so And then be in prayer for anybody that's not feeling well or that's still getting over sicknesses and those are traveling and So be in prayer for those that are traveling and everything right now As far as service times is coming Sunday. Everything should be normal. We will have our we're gonna be going out to Indianapolis We're gonna be traveling out there Friday, and then we're gonna be staying the night and then going soul winning That morning in Indianapolis, so I'm pretty excited about it should be a good time Hopefully we'll see many souls saved And but I'm really excited about the fact that there's a lot that are out there that are first-time soul winners that are wanting to get into it and so that's that's exciting and so Just be in prayer for that if you're not going out to it be in prayer for it and then Obviously, I appreciate all the men that are going out to this And so especially if we're gonna have a lot of new people going out soul-winning it's nice to have a lot of our Season soul winners going out there to kind of help lead that up. So And then this could this could in one day be an opportunity for maybe like starting a church out there So there's a lot of guys out there. It seems like we haven't really got a chance to meet them yet So this is kind of a I don't want to say reconnaissance mission, but it's kind of like we're going out there We're gonna get to know these guys a little bit But you know if you know obviously what I'd love to do is one day send out You know preachers to go start churches and stuff like that. So I'm not pushing anybody in Indianapolis, but that may be a place where you say hey, that'd be a good place to start a church So I definitely think that it's a good place to start a church where there's a bunch of people that want to church so but either way We're gonna be going out soul-winning and and just being prayer for that And then Sunday our sewing time will still be on Sunday. I understand obviously if People are coming back and you're tired and all that totally understand if you normally go out on Sunday, but But you want to take a rest, but we'll have our normal sewing time I'm tentatively planning on going sewing on Sunday unless I'm like ready to fall over or something like that. But And then we'll have a regional sewing times during the week, but obviously the one Saturday that brother Wade's leading up We're just moving at the Indianapolis is what we're doing so just in a different location. So And then the prayer meetings on the list here We have the the men's prayer meeting at the end of the month here. We have the women's prayer meeting On July 1st and pastor Anderson's gonna be preaching for us on July 2nd And then we're planning on doing fireworks on July 7th, so Yeah, so that that would be that Friday after the 4th of July and all that so So that would be fun. All I say with this and I know we're a little bit ways away from that but Parents you must watch your kids. Okay, if you're dealing with sparkler, I don't care if it's sparklers I don't care if it's snakes, you know the little snakes or whatever the poppet things you got to be watching your kids because You know, I don't want anybody to get hurt or burnt or anything like that when it comes to the big fireworks, don't worry We're taking care of that. We're professionals here That's how we burn something down but Anyway, so that'll be coming up it's a good time. We'll have food and all that stuff Hopefully it doesn't rain So but well we roll with the punches when it comes to that And then so we have the Indianapolis so many marathon that's coming up this Saturday But then we're brother Charles is leading up the Philadelphia. So winning marathon that's being moved to July 15th, so July 15th and so all the details should be the same there but get with brother Charles obviously if you're planning on going out to that to make sure that You have all your ducks in a row when it comes to where everybody's meeting up and all that. So And Then on the back of the bulletin we have our memory chapter of the month and Malachi chapter 1 and so that where am I going? We're gonna try to memorize the book of Malachi so chapter 1 Hebrews 12 11 is a memory verse for the week and then On the pregnancy list there be in prayer for all the ladies on there Tiara Lesko Amanda Spina Jennifer signs of the support and now we have Anastasia on there as well And so Anastasia McShea and so be in prayer for all these ladies and so I Think that's about all I have for announcements right now The offering boxes in the back there if you want to give tie their offering and the mother baby rooms for the mothers babies only We're gonna be continuing our study through the book of Luke. We're gonna be in Luke 17 this evening. Who's reading brother Wade? So brother Wade will be reading Luke 17 after we do one more song You Alright take your song books and turn to song number 97 Song number 97 in your song books will sing I need thee every hour song number 97 I Need the every our most Gracious Lord no tender voice like thine can peace Afford I need the oh I need the Every hour I need the Oh bless me now my Savior I come to thee I Need the every hour stay thou Nearby Temptations lose their power when thou art nigh I need The oh I need thee Every hour I need thee oh Bless me now my Savior. I come to thee I Need the every hour Enjoy your pain come quickly and abide or life is vain I Need the oh I need the Every hour I need the Oh bless me now my Savior come to thee I Need the every hour Holy one Oh Make me thine indeed Thou blessed Son I Need the oh I need thee Every hour I need the Oh bless me now my Savior I come to thee All right, take your Bibles and turn to Luke chapter 17 the book of Luke chapter 17 And your Bibles and we'll have brother Wade come to read that for us Luke 17 Then said he unto the disciples it is impossible But that offenses will come but woe went to him through whom they come If it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck and he cast in the sea Then that he should offend one of these little ones Take heed to yourselves if thy brother trespassed against thee rebuke him and if he repent forgive him and if he trespassed against thee seven times in a day and seven times in a day turn again to The saying I repent thou shalt forgive him and the Apostles said unto the Lord increase our faith And the Lord said if you had faith as a grain of mustard seed you might say unto the sycophant tree Be thou plucked up by the root and be thou planted in the sea and it should obey you But which of you having a servant plowing or feeding cattle will say unto him by and by when he is come from the field go and sit down to meet and Will not rather say unto him make ready wherewith I may sup and gird thyself and serve me until I have eaten and drunken and Afterward thou shall eat and drink Doth he think that servant because he did the things that were commanded of him. I try not So likewise he when he shall have done all those things which are commanded you say we are unprofitable servants we have done that which was our duty to do and it came to pass as he went to Jerusalem that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee and As he entered into a certain village there met him ten men that were lepers which stood afar off And they lifted up their voices and said Jesus master have mercy on us And when he saw them he said unto them go show yourselves unto the priests and It came to pass that as they went they were cleansed and one of them when he saw that he was healed turned back in with a loud voice glorified God and fell down on his face at his feet giving him thanks and he was a Samaritan and Jesus answered saying answering said Were there not ten cleansed but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God save this stranger and he said to them arise go that way thy faith had made the hole and When he was demanded of the Pharisees when the kingdom of God should come and he answered them said the kingdom of God cometh not with observation neither shall they say lo here or lo there for behold the kingdom of God is with you within you and He said unto disciples these the day will come The days will come when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man and ye shall not see it and They shall say to you see here or see there do not after them or follow them For as a lightning that lightning out of the one part under heaven shines unto the other part under heaven So shall also the Son of Man be in his day but first must he suffer many things and be rejected of this generation and As it was in the days of no so shall it also be in the days of the Son of Man They did eat and they drank and they married wives that were given into marriage until the day The no in enter the ark and the flood came and destroyed them all Likewise also as it was in the days of lot. They did eat they drank they bought they sold they planted They builded and the same day the light went out of Sodom and a rain fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed in that day which shall be upon the housetop And his stuff in the house Let him not come down to take it away and he that is in the field let him like likewise not return back Remember lots wife Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it I tell you in that night there shall be two men in one bed The one shall be taken and the other be left two women shall be grinding together The one shall be taken the other left Two men shall be in the field The one take shall be taken and the other left and they answered and said unto him where Lord and he said unto them Wheresoever the body is the other will the Eagles together together. Let us pray dear Lord, uh, please I think scare your work tonight Let us get in Sunday free message. Jesus now. I pray amen Amen so you're there in Luke chapter 17 and this passage here There's there's multiple themes that are in here, but I always think about the ten lepers Definitely the story of the temple lepers in this in this passage and then this passage actually the last portion of the chapter is dealing with end times kind of like a Little mini end times Passage before you get to Luke chapter 21 and so Luke chapter 21 is kind of the famous Passage when it comes to end times, but we'll see definitely some stuff that's parallel with Matthew 24 and all that But starting there in verse 1 of Luke chapter 17 It says then said he unto the disciples it is impossible, but that offenses will come but well unto him Through whom they come it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck and he cast into the sea Than that he should offend one of these little ones and so it starts off basically stating that Offenses are going to come right? It's impossible that they're not going to basically it's they will come it's impossible for them not to come but woe unto that that person by whom they come and Specifically what's being talked about is dealing with children Offending children and go to Matthew chapter 18 because I just want to I just want to prove to you that when he says little ones he's talking about children and so When it comes to the idea of protecting children and not offending children This is what Jesus has to say about the subject when people What does the Bible teach about that? Yeah, well Jesus says that it's better for a millstone to be tied about your neck and that you drown in the midst of the sea That's what he thinks about it and so when people people are trying to hurt children and trying to offend children and today this is running rampant in our society and You know, they're saying they're loving children and the word ones offending them But you know what the same people that are calling evil good and good evil bittersweet and sweater beat Sweater See you know, I can't even I can't even say it but anyway So Matthew chapter 18 I just want to kind of prove to you that when it says little ones we're talking about children in verse 1 of Matthew chapter 18 It says at the same time came to disciples unto Jesus saying who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven and Jesus called a little Child unto him and set him in the midst of them and said verily I say unto you except you be converted to become as little children You shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven whoseover therefore shall humble himself as this little child The same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven So there's two things that are stated there about children is the fact that one you need to hum You need to become as a little child To be to be saved meaning this is that you need to have the faith of a child you need to be humble as a child and be dependent on Jesus like a child would be on a parent and Also, the gospel needs to be simple enough and we were just talking about this when we were out soul winning The gospel needs to be simple enough for a child to understand it And if your gospel presentation is so convoluted and complex that a child can't understand it then you're wrong Then you've done perverted the gospel at that point. It has to be simple plain and clear and But you have to have that childlike faith where you're putting all your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ But also on top of that to become as to be humble as a child So that you'll be greatest in the name of heaven because those that are humble wind up being exalted now keep reading there. It says In verse 5 it says who so shall receive one of these little One such little child in my name received me But who so shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about His neck and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea I want you to think about that about what what Jesus thinks about children, but specifically what he thinks about believing children So I think about the protection and the idea of what what Jesus thinks about and I'm thinking about specifically our children in this church that believe on Christ that are coming to church that are hearing the Word of God and when the world is trying to offend them or if somebody is trying to offend them with false doctrine or different things like that and what Jesus thinks about that and You know what the the disciples were even saying don't basically not bring children under Jesus And he says forbid them not suffer the little children to come unto me And this is why we have children in the church service This is why we don't separate the children from the adults because the children I believe are the most important You know People that are in the in the service they're the next generation and they're the ones that we need to protect and we need to give the truth to because they're the ones that need to hear it and obviously adults need to hear it too, but But our priority is taking care of the children and protecting the children so that they aren't Offended and they aren't you know, there's not offenses against them And so in the world they'll be prepared for that type of stuff as well so You can get it, you know when it comes to obviously what the world and just abuse and all that stuff when it comes to children obviously Anybody that would hurt a child or abuse a child? Should be should be put to death and you know what? You know hanging stoning. I'm about that but you know what a millstone around the neck And thrown into a pond lake see You know, that's biblical and so obviously You know when it comes to what the world is trying to do to children today Woe unto them You know, it's impossible that offenses must come but woe unto them by whom they come and so You know and it comes to when it comes to pedophiles when it comes to people that are hurting children I pray that they go quick down into hell you know as as it says in Psalms, you know break their teeth Oh God in their mouth and Let them go quick down into hell and you know what the New Testament isn't isn't lightening up on that either So but go to Luke chapter 17 and verse 3 and that's what it says here So it's kind of like, you know These these take heed kind of measures here take heed that you don't offend these little ones and listen as as believers We need to not offend little the little ones Okay outside of you know, we're obviously you know You think about like people that would abuse children or be pedophiles and stuff like that, you know Obviously a believer can't be a pedophile, you know But at the same time like we still need to be careful that we don't like cause the children You know children to get out of church or cause you know or teach our children false doctrine Or anything like that because just because it's not damnable heresy You still don't want to teach your children heresy, right? You still don't want to lead them down a path They shouldn't go we need to be examples to our children We need to bring them up in the inertia and admonition of the Lord and not offend our children as we're bringing them up No, you're not provoking them to anger or it's a wrath, you know, we need to be careful on that as well now Luke chapter 17 verse 3 it says take heed to yourselves if thy brother trespass against thee rebuke him and If he repent forgive him and if he trespass against thee seven times in a day and seven times in a day turn again To thee saying I repent thou shalt forgive him now, there's a great lesson There's a there's a lot of good stuff in this on what what's being taught here. Okay? Obviously forgiveness is is what's being taught here, but It's not this blank check of forgiveness for anybody This idea that you should just forgive somebody no matter what whether they ask for forgiveness or not is not biblical Notice what it says here It says take you to yourselves if thy brother trespass against thee rebuke him I'll judge not Who are you to say anything the Bible says rebuke him if a brother sins against you and obviously we're talking about We're talking about Christians here. We're talking about believers So this passage specifically is talking about believers and it's saying if he if if your brother in Christ sins against you rebuke him And then it says If he repents Forgive him does it say forgive him rebuke him and forgive him. No, it says if you repent Forgive him then it goes on to say If he trespassed against thee seven times in a day and seven times in a day turn again to thee saying I repent thou Shalt forgive him, but notice that the repent has to be there seven times in that seven times. He's trespassing against you This blank check of just like I need to forgive them no matter what I've heard so many times And it just breaks my heart when I I hear of like rape victims saying I forgive The person that did that to me And I'm just thinking in my head. I don't forgive them You shouldn't forgive them that person should be six foot under or in in the bottom of the sea But it you know six feet under so you can spit on his grave Where does it say that you should forgive somebody that one doesn't ask for it But also when you're dealing with the these type of people that are You know Well one rate is is gets the death penalty in the Bible and our government should be implementing that But at the same time when it comes to this, you know It's not this blank check to just forgive somebody no matter what the only other exception I see in the Bible is Forgiving somebody if they do it ignorantly Because Jesus on the cross he said father forgive them, but he didn't just say forgive them did he he didn't just say it to anybody He says father forgive them for they know not what they do By definition that means they're doing it ignorantly. They don't know what they're doing. They don't know who they're crucifying They have no idea what they're doing Obviously, it's still sin right sinning him ignorantly doesn't excuse it, but there is a difference between The the the mercy that's applied to someone doing it ignorantly and someone doing it knowingly So show me in the Bible where someone sins against me and I should just blankly forgive them for no reason does Jesus forgive Yeah, does everybody go to heaven or is it those that ask for forgiveness, you know or ask for you know as for salvation, right? It's Always it's always someone that has been asking for that gift of salvation that is given that gift of salvation It's not automatic just because he obviously paid for the sins the whole world But the same thing applies when it comes to brothers in Christ. Is that listen if if a brother sins against me I'm not saying to hold a grudge Right, you don't have to hold a grudge and not be bitter The Bible says, you know, if someone sins against you and don't take it before the the law But at the same time it says suffer thyself to be defrauded But that doesn't mean that you have to forgive them for what they did So now if they ask for forgiveness that's different If they ask for forgiveness, you know what the Bible says you need to forgive them And it says 70 times 7 in Matthew chapter 18 the same thing that's brought up Matthew chapter, I'm sorry Yeah, Matthew chapter 18 and verse 21. It says and then then came Peter to him and said Lord How off shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him till seven times Right, so you can imagine that maybe this conversation happened before this one did Right, because why is he saying seven times? Well in Luke chapter 17, it says seven times in a day And you can kind of think of this is later on he's like well seven times And he's taking the seven literally like that's it right after seven times no more But obviously he's just giving it's just throwing out a number and And so don't take that somewhere. It's like well, it must just be seven if it's eight times No, it's like in the Bible when it says a righteous man follows down seven times and rises up again But if you fall down eight times stay down That'd be kind of the same logic, right Obviously, you know seven is a number that that has kind of a number of completion and perfection and stuff like that But don't take it to the point where it's just like alright, it's been seven times. It's time to throw in the towel But same thing when it comes to forgiveness Notice what Jesus says here in Matthew 18 verse 22 Jesus says unto him I say unto thee until seven times I'm sorry. I'm sorry Jesus says unto him. I say not unto thee until seven times but until seventy times seven now Do you think that that means the 491 time no forgiveness? Do you say how ridiculous that would be to where you're just like Not getting the point The idea here is that doesn't matter how many times If your brother sins against you and he asks for forgiveness or he repents and says, you know, basically he turns and says, you know He's repent repenting of what he did then you are to forgive him now Obviously, I believe it needs to be sincere so it's kind of it's kind of when you think of like someone doing that 70 or seven times in a day At some point you're gonna maybe have some discernment you're like you aren't actually asking you aren't actually Like trying to get forgiveness here or anything like that But this idea of just well blanket you must forgive no matter what even if they don't ask for it not in the Bible and Leviticus chapter 19 You don't have to turn there, but this idea of like, you know, don't judge your neighbor Don't don't rebuke a brother, you know, or the new versions will just say if you're angry with your brother Then you've committed a murder already in your heart Whereas the new what the actual Bible says it says if you're angry with your brother without a cause You've committed murder already in your heart. So every word is important But this idea of like not rebuking or judging your neighbor not not rebuking your brother Listen it's in the New Testament, but it's also stated in the Old Testament in Luke and Leviticus chapter 19 and verse 15 It says you shall do no unrighteousness in judgment Thou shalt not respect the person of the poor nor honor the person of the mighty but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbor You know what Jesus says judge righteous judgment It does not according to the outward appearance but judge righteous judgment, you know what the outward appearance is being a respecter of persons Well, they they look They look they don't look the way I want them to look so therefore I'm gonna judge them based off that no you judge you judge them based off their character Based off whether they they're keeping the law or they're not keeping the law, right? And when we when we if we're judging somebody we're judging someone based off the law Right and you're not to be judging a brother based off your own standards So if you have a standard saying well, I don't watch this or I don't go to this place or you know what? I don't eat here and it's not a commandment in the Bible It's not like they're breaking some known commandment in the Bible by doing it Then you're not to be judging your neighbor on that stuff. You're not to be judging your brother on that Obviously if your brother if your brother goes out and kills somebody in cold blood you can judge them on that commits adultery Or lies or steals be like thou art the man you did it And you can call down judgment on them but if it's something to where it's not a commandment in the Bible then you know what you need to Judge judge nothing before the time. You know what we'll find out at the end. Who's who's uh Who's more efficient in their walk with God and and you know if that thing that they're doing is holding them back or whatever But But anyway when it comes to this is that Yes, we are to forgive our brother basically innumerable times If they come and ask for forgiveness if they come and turn from what they did to you then Yeah, forgive them, but it's not a blank check It's not like someone just like punches me in the face and Then they don't say anything about it. They're just like yeah punch you in the face now forgive me No not happening There's gonna have to be some reconciliation there. You're gonna have to get that right You know what the Bible says though if if they wrong you and then you go to them one-on-one to get it right and they don't Repent they don't get that right then you take it to two or three other people And if they don't hear them then you take it to the church, and if they don't hear the church, then they're out That's how you deal with it Doesn't sound doesn't sound like you're just a forgiven blanketly if you're casting them out of the church and treating them as a publican and heathen So You know you got to get biblical Doctrine when it comes to this and this isn't just to be like well you found your way out from not forgiving somebody no The Bible is very clear. This is all about forgiveness, but you can't just Insert forgive everybody you might as well just say love everybody and that all sin is equal at that point You know you got it you got to look at what the Bible actually says about it And so and that you know that goes into the fact that well then people that don't believe on Christ they're forgiven anyway Because there's no there's no condition. Okay, and obviously what we're talking about here is not salvation. We're not talking about Believing the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. We're just talking about getting right with your brother But at the same time there's a condition that has to be met before you forgive them So go back to Luke chapter 17 verse 5 Luke chapter 17 verse 5 Says in verse 5 it says in the Apostles said unto the Lord increase our faith That's a great thing to ask for if you think about it and It's interesting what Jesus says here Because he doesn't just give the answer of like how to increase your faith He says this in verse 6 it says and the Lord said if ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed You might say unto this sick a men tree Be thou plucked up by the root and be thou planted in the sea and it should obey you You know what I believe he's saying is there like they're saying increase our faith, and he's he's showing you it All you need is just this much. You know like this much faith to do things like Saying unto this tree be plucked up from the root to be cast into the sea so the idea here is that You don't need this this huge amount of faith. You just need it You need this grain of a mustard seed type of faith, but if you're thinking okay well But how do I get it to that level right? How do I get it to the grain of a mustard seed? Well when you're looking at passages in the New Testament or especially in the Gospels Look for a parallel passage dealing with the same thing that's stated and the one thing that's stated here that is Repeated to a certain extent is the fact of if you have faith in the grain of mustard seeds You'll be able to do something over here. Okay. Go to Matthew chapter 17, Matthew chapter 17 So in Luke 17 It says increase our faith, and then he says if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed You'll be able to move this this sycamine tree But in verse 19 of Matthew 17 it says then came the disciples to Jesus apart and said why could not we cast him out? meaning this devil out of this this this this young guy and Verse 20 says and Jesus said unto them because of your unbelief For verily I say unto you if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed you shall say unto this mountain remove hence to yonder Yonder place and it shall be removed and nothing shall be impossible unto you So it's kind of very similar right and the idea they're saying increase our faith, and he's saying it's because you're unbelief and basically you can look at that as like lack of faith and But here in verse 21 I believe we get an answer okay, how do we get to there though? Okay, how do we get to the point where we can actually do what you just did because Jesus casts out that that will write Whereas disciples couldn't? But how do you get to that point it says in verse 21? How be it this kind goeth not out, but by prayer and fasting So I believe that one way to increase your faith, and I'm not saying this is the only way is by prayer and fasting You think about how the the apostles prayed for boldness? Just the power that was that and the place was shaken you know when they prayed for boldness, and they spake the word of God with boldness and you know and fasting and getting hold of God and increasing your faith that way and When it comes to you know because of their unbelief if you think about the the man and Matt and Mark chapter 9 It says in verse 23 in Mark 9 it says Jesus said unto him if thou canst believe all things are possible to him that believe It right they say you have faith the grain of mustard seed you can move mountains and nothing shall be impossible unto you and This guy says and straight way the father child cried out and said with tears Lord I believe help thou mine unbelief so you can be a believer and still have unbelief not not unbelief in Jesus being the Christ and and he's your way of salvation, right? because You can have you can have faith in that and then lack faith that God's able to do certain things in your life, right? Able to protect your family able to give you food and raiment like that is not just attached to being a believer as far as You know you bleed for salvation and boom all this other faith is there. No you need to increase your faith and have that faith in those other areas as well and And So you can think of this guy saying it's kind of saying in a different manner He's saying like I I believe help down mine unbelief meaning like help the help where I don't believe and basically increase My faith and so and that's kind of the the series that we're getting into on Sunday nights of adding to your faith is I believe a way to increase your faith You know and the first thing that you add is virtue Which is adding essentially Good works to your to your faith, and how that perfects your faith And I believe ultimately is increasing your faith the more you do the works I mean it's kind of like when you go out soul winning how much more do you have faith in the gospel than when you're preaching the gospel all the time and You're winning people to Christ It's not that it's not that if you didn't do that you wouldn't believe the gospel and you'd be an unbeliever or something like that but listen You know after you get done going out soul winning and you're preaching the gospel people people are getting safe There's no doubt in your mind. You're like. This is right. We're right on the Bible teaches this in and out I mean, there's just no there's no doubting at all there Why because you're doing the work? That's why? and God blesses those that do the work I believe with increased faith and So You know when it comes to this I believe prayer and fasting is definitely a way to increase faith but also doing the works and I believe adding virtue knowledge temperance patience going down the line will increase your faith and That's another term for another day, so just keep keep along with us as we go through that study Go back to Luke chapter 17 Luke chapter 17 verse 7 And notice verse 7, but which of you Having a servant plowing or feeding cattle will say unto him by and by when he has come from the field Go and sit down to meet and will not rather say unto him make ready wherewith I may sub and gird thyself and Serve me till I have eaten and drunken and afterward thou shalt eat and drink Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him I tro not So likewise ye when you shall have done all those things which are commanded you say we are unprofitable Servants we have done that which was our duty to do This is a good lesson To understand here is the fact that Jesus is our master. We're the servants if we keep his commandments We're unprofitable by definition We've we've you know basically it's kind of like if you're in a if you're running a company and You have a you have like all your overhead And you think about like a salary all the costs that run the company all that stuff and all the revenue that you're bringing in Just gets you to break even Meaning this is that you're not in debt. We don't have anything over That's not profitable Now I mean people are getting salaries and people are being able to feed their families and you know that it's things are getting done It's not that it's not It's it's running things are going right It's not profitable profitable is when you get above that Profitable is when you go above and beyond that which is needed I Want you to think about this when it comes to? commandments in the Bible, right You don't like not murder somebody and be like I'm profitable servant That one's kind of silly right because it's such a ridiculous one But think about all the commandments that are given and then you keep a commandment, and you think I'm profitable unto my Lord No, no, you're you're doing your duty. You're doing that which has commanded you Now let me you say well What's above and beyond? Well think about this the Bible says to give us this day our daily bread and that man shall not live by bread alone But by every word of God so the Bible talks about giving attendance reading and all that But you know what it doesn't give you an amount does it? Does it ever say memorize whole chapters of the Bible I'm just giving this in an example, okay I'm not saying this is the only place But I want you to think about this when it doesn't give you any a strict commandment But you do above and beyond I believe that's where you're getting into being a profitable servant Okay, and you're not just being like baseline like we're we're not in debt Right just think about sin is dead, right? The wages of sin is death and there's a there's a debt to that, right? But when you think about the fact of keeping his commandments if you don't break any of them, you're not in debt But you want to be profitable you want to go above beyond so think about okay this Commandments this I'm going beyond that I'm gonna go above and beyond that Because some people when you see like let's say you're you're saying hey do this and you do it to the T That's a good worker. I mean, it's not like they're bad But they're not necessarily profitable they're kind of doing their jobs so that I'm not in debt paying their salary, right and So we need to be thinking okay, I'm not just gonna do the bare minimum to get by going above and beyond I mean think about it if our church went soul-winning once every week Let's say Sunday was our only soul-winning time and that's the only time we've ever went soul-winning. We didn't do any soul-winning marathons No one went out the rest of the week. But you know what on Sunday we go out soul-winning Guess what? We're fulfilling the Great Commission and the fact that we're going out week by week and we're preaching the gospel every creature as much You know, like we're doing that at that time. I believe We're kind of at baseline But let's go above and beyond that right let's do some soul-winning marathons, let's do some mission trips Let's do some other things right to where You know and you say well, maybe that's baseline. Okay. Well, let's just keep increasing. We don't know where the baseline is at How about that? You can have your mindset that we're in debt and we need to get above the baseline to where we're breaking even But in the end judge nothing before the time because you know what I'd I'd rather be on the safe side To say hey what we're doing. We're kind of breaking even we're doing our duty We're doing our duty what we're doing even though it may be above and beyond But my goal in life as far as a Christian is to try to go above and beyond all the time To not just do the baseline Whether it's studying your Bible Whether it's going out soul-winning whether you know, whatever it is, we should always be trying to strive to go above and beyond and Sometimes you're just doing in your duty you think about Paul and how you know necessity is laid upon me What was unto me if I preach out the gospel? He's like if I do this thing willingly I have a reward if it gives my will a Dispensation the gospel is committed unto me It's kind of like either way if I don't want to do it or if I want to do it It needs to be done I should do it and you're not gonna be always that time where you're like, let's go above beyond you're just like You're I'm here, you know, and you're just like let's break even but So sometimes you're like I wish the Bible would just spell out how much I should read I wish the Bible would just spell out how much I should pray I wish the Bible should just spell out how much has to memorize or even if I should memorize Right because people could use that argument be like well, it says meditate upon it doesn't say that you have to memorize it word for word How about instead of trying to just always tow the line of what's what's the minimum to do You just say you know what? I'm gonna go beyond And on top of that when you go beyond don't think you have Have a mindset that hey, I think this is baseline I Think I'm an unprofitable servant and let God decide whether you're profitable or not So don't think that you're like man, we're we're really killing it out there guys We're really I mean, I think I believe that we're I believe we're pleasing the Lord But we don't want to have her have this high minded like Mindset that like hey We're better than everybody, you know, like we shouldn't have that mindset We should be just saying hey We're just trying to do as much as we can when we can and we're trying to constantly get better and everything else and hopefully we're just pleasing the Lord and Have a mindset that you haven't gone above and beyond but always striving to be above and beyond So I believe it's a good lesson to learn there. Is that hey just because you keep the commandments You know that doesn't make you profitable Going past that do do what that which God didn't Explicitly tell you to do which is righteous and good. Okay So go to Luke chapter 17 and verse 11 we have the story of the ten lepers. So this is a great I Believe, you know, these are great lessons to believers I mean when you think about like forgiving a brother and the fact that hey Sometimes you need to rebuke a brother and but you know what if they get it right forgive them and let it go Don't be bitter against them or anything like that But you know what also as servants of the Lord we need to know that hey if we just do the minimum and we just keep the commandment to the T Then we're unprofitable by definition. It doesn't say you're sinning but you can't say you're profitable if you're just hitting baseline and then this story with the lepers I believe is a good a good lesson to us as soul winners and One to not get discouraged when it comes to soul winning is in verse 11 here he says it came to pass as he went to Jerusalem that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee and as he entered into a certain village there met him ten men that were lepers which stood afar off and they lifted up their voices and Said Jesus master have mercy on us and when he saw them he said unto them go show yourselves Unto the priests and it came to pass that as they went they were cleansed and One of them when he saw that he was healed turned back and with a loud voice glorified God and Fell down at on his face at his feet Giving him. Thanks, and he was a Samaritan and Jesus answering said where Where they're not ten clans, but where are the nine? This is a great story because One he tells them, you know, he doesn't even say you're gonna be cleansed He just says go to yourself and show yourselves unto the priests And if you understand that When you go back to Leviticus chapter 13 and 14 dealing with the laws of leprosy The priests are the ones that would determine whether you're clean or unclean Whether you have leprosy or you don't and the whole point is that he's basically saying go to the priests and they're gonna tell you You're clean Because when they started going they were cleansed and they realized that and one came back and the thing that's interesting about this is just the fact of How I believe he realizes that Jesus is God now notice what it says in verse 15 It says with a loud voice He so he says he saw that he was that he was healed turned back and with a loud voice Glorified God and fell down on his face at his feet Whose? Right, I mean you could say well it's going all the way back to Jesus Obviously, it's going back to Jesus. We know we're talking about Jesus, but the idea that he's glorifying God and fell at his feet Right, and obviously we're talking about Jesus feet and he's glorifying Jesus obviously So I believe this is a great passage to I wouldn't maybe point that this is the number one passage to go to the show his deity but at the same time I do believe that this is showing his deity that he's glorifying God falling at his feet and That those feet are at Jesus feet right giving to him. Thanks and he was a Samaritan I love how it points that out too. It's kind of like hey, by the way He wasn't of Israel There was ten lepers and the one that came back to give thanks was a Samaritan and Notice this because someone say well, he really got saved Because he came back gave God the glory You know this whole like reform life stuff and this, you know repenting of your sins garbage when it comes to salvation Notice what says here in verse 17 and Jesus answering said were there not ten cleansed. So were there not ten cleansed Yeah, it's not like It's not like well, it says he was cleansed and he came back. No ten were cleansed And Then it says but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God save this stranger and he said unto him arise go thy way Thy faith hath made the whole did him turning back and giving thanks to make him whole That him coming back and giving glory to God make him whole know his faith made him whole What cleansed them who were how many were cleansed ten were cleansed what cleansed them faith That means all ten had faith all ten were cleansed one came back to give word to God This is a good representation of how many saved people how many people they get saved that actually serve the Lord You know what the Bible says in Luke is, you know, they asked the question are there few to be saved and then you know Obviously it's talking about striving to enter in straight gate and Matthew answers that in the fact that's few there be to find it So we know that ultimately there's few that are saved So if you think about the population of the world few of those are saved Listen few of those that actually serve the Lord If you want to look at percentages, that's 10% Now don't hold it to that right don't be like the guy that's like well, it's seven times He did it the eight times today. No Like well, you know we did it We did we did a spreadsheet and out of all the people that we got saved this many people Were thankful for it You know Or they came to church or whatever you want to how you want to define them giving glory to God and be like it was Actually 11% You know, it was actually 50. It was actually 9% But it's just it's a story to kind of show you that hey Most of the people that get saved don't give thanks and glory to God just facts And I'll say this too a Lot of those people that we went to the Lord they may end up getting plugged in at a church in a different church or Maybe they they they get plugged in later in life You don't know what they'll end up doing with their life just because they don't immediately start coming to our church It may be years down the road to be like hey, you know You Guys want me to Lord out soul-winning and I'm finally here, you know It took like five years, but I finally I'm finally decided to come and then they get plugged in and all that You never know and they could be one of those like few that come in so this is a good lesson I believe to soul winners and basically more of a To not get discouraged when like everybody that you go out and or people, you know We don't have like a ton of visitors in from soul-winning know this is that God's the ones gonna build the church Except the Lord build the house they labor in vain to build it and Jesus said upon this rock I will build my church and so it's not our job to build the church. It's our job to do what we're told to do Let's keep his commandments to do what he told us to do and He'll bring him in And obviously we want to try to do everything we can to help people come to church and and get him baptized And try to make that as easy as possible But listen, I can't force someone to get saved and I also can't force them to come to church I can't force them to get baptized. I can't force them to listen to preaching and Jesus doesn't force them, you know, even even in Revelation when he's talking about like people getting right with him He says I stand at the door knock. He doesn't bust the door down and Drag him out or push it push his weight in there. No, you have the free will choice whether you're gonna serve the Lord And obviously I believe you should choose to serve the Lord But he's not gonna force that just as much as he doesn't force people to get saved So there's a great lesson with the ten lepers here The fact that he's a Samaritan which shows you that you know with the story of the Good Samaritan And the fact that he's the one that actually was like a neighbor unto the Israelite compared to his other two people that were actually blood Related if you will of his nation and and the Samaritan helps in this case. It's the Samaritan that comes back So go back go to Luke chapter 17 and verse 20 here And we're gonna be getting it to be the end of the chapter here where we're dealing with some end times prophecy But first before you get to end times prophecy Notice what's stated here in verse 20 Luke 17 and verse 20 it says and when he was demanded of the Pharisees when the kingdom of God should come He answered them and said the kingdom of God cometh not with observation Neither shall they say lo here or lo there for behold the kingdom of God is within you So this is something that obviously they're like when's your kingdom gonna come and obviously we know that there's gonna be a physical kingdom That's gonna come right when he's gonna roll and reign for a thousand years Yay for all eternity because then obviously new Jerusalem is gonna come down new heaven new earth Roll and reign for all eternity, right? But what he's talking about here is that it doesn't come with observation this is very interesting and he's saying the kingdom of God is within you and So he's talking about he's talking about salvation. He's talking about good Go to John chapter 3, but if you think about this it says this in Colossians 1 27 To whom God would would make known what what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles? Which is Christ in you the hope of glory the idea of Jesus Christ and inside of us The Bible says in Ephesians chapter 4 One God and Father of all who is above all and through all and in you all and obviously the Holy Ghost that Is not only in us, but he dwells with us forever. He's the indwelling of the Holy Holy Spirit The Bible talks about our body being the temple of the Holy Ghost and So when you think about the kingdom of God, I mean literally you had the Trinity that that's inside of you, right? But in John chapter 3 this kind of just kind of reminds me of this where it says it cometh not with observation Meaning you can't like look and see it But it's there This reminds me of what if the Bible teaches about being born of the Spirit And it says in John 3 and verse 5 it says Jesus answered Barely rarely has sanity except the man be born of water and of the Spirit He can he cannot enter enter into the kingdom of God That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit So this is the whole story with Nicodemus. Obviously, he's like, how can a man be born the second time? You know and he's thinking it's like physically being born and he's Jesus differentiating between Physical birth and spiritual birth and he's stating here that you need to be born of the Spirit Marvel not that I said unto thee ye must be born again Notice the example he gives here The wind bloweth where it listeth and thou hearest the sound thereof It canst not tell whence it cometh and whither it goeth. So is every one that is born of the Spirit Notice that the kingdom of God cometh not with observation saying lo here or lo there and it's the same thing with the wind It's like, you know, you kind of hear it blowing But you don't really see the wind I mean you're like, well, I saw the wind because there's leaves in it No, you saw the leaves blowing in the wind, but you didn't see the wind And so the idea here is that it's kind of like that and the fact that you can't can't see The Spirit That's why when we go out soldering we ask people questions of what you believe Because I can't see whether they believe I can't see whether they're a child of God just by an observation Which is another thing that's interesting when you think about the fact that how do a lot of churches determine whether someone's saved by observation Well, they came to church well, they're doing right there today tithe Is that how you determine the king whether someone has the kingdom of God inside of them You know, you know the Bible talks about the fact that You know, basically you're of God because you hear God's Word He that hearth us is of God and he that hearth not us is not of God and this is hereby No, we the spirit of truth the spirit error talking about John John the Apostle John that if you don't hear the words of The prophets and the apostles which is the Word of God, by the way Then you're not of God So if they don't hear those verses on salvation and they're like, yep, I agree with that. Yep. I agree with that Then guess what? They're not a child of God But you can't just look at them on the outside and say that's a child of God right there because It doesn't come with observation Now there's other ways to discern it right? It's kind of like, you know, you can hear it Isn't that interesting? It's talking about like in John chapter 3 You know that hears the sound thereof Isn't that interesting how it's kind of linking that to salvation like how how do you know someone's saved? Well, but I heard them say, you know what they believe Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. I believe therefore have I spoken Therefore, you know, I Can I can discern based off what I'm hearing to know whether they're actually a believer or not But it's not based off observation me just seeing whether they're listen unbelievers can do right things as much as a believer can An unbeliever come to church just as much as a believer can why would that be my determination whether they're saved or lost? So anyway, that's another term for another day I'm sorry. I'm watching the clock last week Was bad. Did someone like turn the clock back like 15 minutes, you know, is it really like Not even not even 8 o'clock yet So going back to Luke chapter 17 verse 22 It talks about how Jesus is going to come and it says in verse 22 It says and he said unto the disciples the days will come When you shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, you shall not see it I believe what that's talking about is like when he's walking on the earth in the flesh Like he is right then that they're gonna wish that they had one of those days again But it says and they shall say to you see here and see there go not after them Nor follow them for as the lightning That lightning lightness out of the the one part under heaven shineth unto the other part under heaven So so shall also the Son of man be in his day But first must he suffer many things to be rejected of this generation So notice that he's he's put in practice because he hasn't gone to the cross yet He's like this has to happen first though, I must suffer many things you got to go to the cross He's gonna die. He's gonna rise again a third day, but he's talking. He's obviously talking about something that's after that and He's stating that when he comes gonna be like lightning when you see lightning in the sky It's gonna be something noticeable. It's not this secret rapture when he comes Go to Matthew chapter 24 Matthew chapter 24 verse 23 Matthew 24 and verse 23 this is very similar when you see this low here low there Does that sound familiar when it's talking about the kingdom of God? It's in you. They're not you can't say low here low there Because it's it's within you it's spiritual, right? You can't observe that but also when when he comes people are gonna be saying low here and low there And notice what it says here in Matthew 24 and verse 23 Then if any man shall say unto you low here is Christ or there believe it not But there shall rise false Christ and false prophets and shall and Shall show great signs and wonders and so much that if it were possible They shall deceive the very elect which shows you it's not possible Then it says behold. I have told you before Wherefore if they shall say unto you behold he is in the desert go not forth behold He is in the secret chambers believe it not So it doesn't sound like he's hidden somewhere in some secret place or it's gonna be like unknown place or It's like some secret rapture Or secret coming if you will verse 27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east and shineth even unto the west so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be So when when Jesus comes it's gonna be like lightning that you see in the sky It says for whosoever the carcasses there will the Eagles be gathered together immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the Sun be darkened and the moon shall not give her light and the star shall fall from heaven and the powers of the heaven shall be shaken and Then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn and they shall See the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet and they shall gather together his lack from the four winds from one end of heaven to the other By the way, Jesus comes after the tribulation But what I want you to notice here is that his coming is like lightning that shines in the sky But I want you to think about what happens before he comes the Sun and moon are darkened and the stars don't give their light I want you to think about everything is pitch black and then lightning strikes think about how you How how else could you show something that's not gonna be a secret? Right. I mean think about how noticeable that will be Everything's dark, but then when he comes it's like lightning going from one end of heaven to the other That's gonna be an entrance my friends. That's not a secret entrance. That's some secret chamber in the desert somewhere So when people are trying to say well he came it's just that no one observed it No, he's coming and it's listen salvation is not with observation when it comes to like seeing someone salvation You know what seeing inside of them seeing their spirit but when it comes to Jesus coming in the clouds Every eye shall see him the Bible says He cometh with clouds and every eye shall see him I don't understand how these pre-tribbers can get around these verses They just must they must just be blind when they're looking at it Willingly ignorant I would say They're either willingly ignorant or they're just too proud to admit that they're wrong But It is not in the Bible that the pre-trib rapture is one of the dumbest doctrines that's out there when it comes to doctrines Maybe it's not damnable heresy, but it's still dumb. It's stupid Okay Now Luke chapter 17 verse 26 it says and as it was in the days of Noah So shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat they drank they married wives They were given in marriage until the day that Noah entered into the ark and the flood came and destroyed them all Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot they did eat they drank they bought they sold they planted they builded But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed So this answers that kind of question of okay. What's it gonna be like before the end? and It gives you two examples. It's gonna be like the days of Noah and the days of Lot Well, what happened in the days of Noah well and in Genesis 6 it actually explains why God Flooded the whole earth and it wasn't because of the Nephilim It wasn't because angels came down and procreated with men and created some Giants That is not that is that's made up. That's nowhere in the Bible it actually even separates those two anyway that the Giants there were Giants in the earth with those days and the sons of God You know took on to them daughters of women, you know what that was believers marrying unbelievers And the consequence of being unequally yoked was that there was the earth was filled with violence The endgame of that and it actually says in Genesis 6 11 It says the earth also was corrupt before God and the earth was filled with violence and God looked upon the earth and behold It was corrupt for all flesh had corrupted His way Upon the earth and God said unto Noah the end of all flesh is come before me for the earth is filled with violence Through them and behold. I will destroy them with the earth. So What is the the word that kind of sticks out but the violence right? There's violence violence violence violence and Matthew talks about how the love of many shall wax cold Iniquity is gonna abound and the love of many shall wax cold So when you think about the fact that there's violence that is in the earth before the flood before God destroyed it and That all flesh was corrupted before him and then you think of Sodom. Do I really need to explain? What that pictures because I mean that's just we're in June aren't we? We're in Sodom month So when people are just like well, are we there yet? I mean, I don't want to see what how far it gets But our country is like pretty much Sodom's sister, you know and So when you when you think about what it's gonna be like you're gonna be dealing with Violence sodomy Like just wickedness people are corrupting themselves Iniquity is gonna abound the love of many is gonna wax cold you think about all these abortionists and how they have no love for children and just that callousness of Of the society that we have You're like pastor Robinson's setting dates up there he says listen, I don't know if it's gonna happen my day But listen, I can definitely see it happening in my day. I Wouldn't be shocked. That's for sure. I Mean if the abomination desolation happened tomorrow, I wouldn't just be like, whoa, where'd that come from? Now I don't think it's gonna happen tomorrow because there still needs to be like wars and world wars and all that stuff But you know what? I'm saying that would you really be shocked if it happened in our day? Would you be like man? Is it you know, I thought it was gonna be like Sodom. I Thought it was gonna be violence But So that's what it's kind of setting it up for as far as you know, okay This is what you're gonna be seeing this is what's gonna be like Go to Luke chapter 17 in verse 31 I mean think about this back in the inception of our country. Obviously our country had things that were wrong I mean, obviously there was slavery going on and all that stuff and and there's things that were that weren't like Alright, but we listen sodomy was not one of those things that was just running rampant was it? So if you were back in that day Could you really say listen? It's like Sodom Now if you're back in let's say the Roman days or in the Grecian Empire You know, like obviously the Grecian Empire would be before you know that so you'd be kind of like well That's the cart before the horse, right? But in the Roman days, you can definitely see like Pompeii Pompeii was destroyed and it was the most sodomite type of civilization when they Uncovered all these artifacts and all these things that they found there Which kind of shows you a you know a judgment of God that that happened I believe There but anyway Going on from that in Luke chapter 17 verse 31 It says in that day he which shall be upon the housetop and his stuff in the house Let him not come down to take it away and he that is in the field let him likewise not return back Remember lots wife whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it and whosoever shall lose his life Shall preserve it now when it comes to this that last verse there that I just read it does show it's interesting How it shows you how preserve can be used for save and it's not, you know When you see saves like people are always constantly thinking about like save from hell When we're talking about like preserving your life and you think about how like saving your life from death, you know And this is talking about I believe when you have the Great Tribulation Because when you go to Matthew 24 When it's talking about iniquities gonna abound and the love of many is gonna wax cold It says but he that shall endure into the end the same shall be saved That idea of like saving your life is enduring up to the end and I believe that's talking about, you know Preaching the gospel doing what you should be doing and and you know Keeping the word of his patience and it says in your patience. You shall possess your souls the Bible says in Luke 21 But when it talks about like not going back, I think you're on the housetop. You don't go back for your stuff And kind of linking that to lots wife is the idea of that when this stuff starts going down You need to be ready need to be ready and not trying to go back You're not trying to go back into the world and all that stuff and the idea here is that in Matthew it talks about when the abomination desolation set up which marks when the Great Tribulation starts It says in Matthew 24 16 then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes and Woe unto them that are with child and to them that gives suck in those days But pray you that your flight be not in the winter neither on the Sabbath day for then shall be great tribulation such as the world since Such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time nor no nor ever shall be so when we're talking about this Are we talking about like God's wrath being poured out and running from that are we talking about the Great Tribulation? Okay, so the example of like not being lots wife is like, you know not trying to Basically basically for fleeing from destruction To not look back to just flee and we're talking about physical salvation because in Matthew 24 22 the next verse It says and except those days should be shortened. There should no flesh be saved But for the elect's sake elect's sake those days shall be shortened And obviously then these comes in the clouds and all of that and then he's gonna pour out fire and brimstone and all that on the earth So that obviously links up with that go to Luke chapter 17 in verse 34 and we'll be done And This is dealing with the rapture and It says here in verse 34 It says I tell you that in in that in that night. There shall be two men in one bed The one shall be taken the other left Two women shall be grinding together The one shall be taken the other left two men shall be in the field the one shall be taken Yeah And the other left and there and they answer it answered and said unto him where Lord and he said unto them Wheresoever the body is that there will the Eagles be get gathered together So this is in Matthew 24 as well and it's talking about the fact that that day of the coming of the Lord And he's gonna gather together his elect from the from the four winds from one end of heaven to the other This is clearly the rapture That's mentioned in first Thessalonians chapter 4 where it's talking about Then we which are alive and remaining shall be caught up together with him in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air Which is how I what I believe is talking about when it says when they say where Lord if you think about it He's stating here One's gonna be taken ones gonna be left ones gonna be taken ones gonna be like one's gonna be taken ones gonna be left And the question is where are they going? Right, where are you taking them? That's what I believe is stating. It's like well where and It says Where where so ever the body is that there will the Eagles be gathered together I believe everybody's coming to the Lord, right? So it's kind of like the Eagles and you say well, what are the Eagles represent? I believe probably angels, right? the angels are gathering together as elect and They're bringing him to meet him in the clouds and we're all coming to the Lord You say well in the one place it says carcass, you know, well one, you know Obviously when you think about Eagles gathering to a body the picture is a carcass, right? I mean if you think about like they're scavenger type animals So like sometimes you got to not take it super literally But you know what if you want to take it super literally the Bible says when we see when they when John saw Jesus It says he saw him as it as it a land that had been slain So if you want to take it that literally I mean you can but I think it's more so the picture Luke's stating like hey, it's the where the body of Christ, you know, where where the body of Jesus is that? That's where they're gonna be gathered together, but just a picture of the Eagles gathering together They gather where the carcass is, right? because that's the whole point, you know, they're going that's where the Eagles are gonna go and so That makes sense to me that He's saying one's taking one's left one's taking one's left. It's like where are they going? You know, that's kind of the question. Like where are you taking them? And I believe they're taking them to the Lord, you know, we're meeting the Lord in the air And it's talking about the Rapture and so And I think it's just giving you different places, you know, and it the thing that's interesting about this too is that People are still working, you know when you think about the Great Tribulation And this is just kind of a side note I think about like in the Great Tribulation, are we just gonna be bunkered down and not around anybody that's not a believer You know, I mean like I know it's gonna be bad There's people like that are working out in the field still People are still doing things, you know when the Rapture happens And so it just kind of some people are sleeping some people are working you're like, well, how's that? You know, they working at night. How about the earth is round? Look I just proved it, but you know You just you know, there's certain things when you're looking through these passages It's kind of little clues of what like what's it going to be like? You know when we're in when that happens, you know, I think some people are still gonna be working I think some people are gonna probably be like Bunkered down, you know, I think that there's gonna be you know Obviously trying to buy some but notes that are in the field and grinding at the middle, right? So they're not exactly in the marketplace, are they? So they're probably out there with their chickens and their cattle and their farms trying to survive during that time You know, so this is this message is brought to you about being a farmer But Luke chapter 17 it is kind of a precursor of you know, getting into end times there before we get into Luke 21 But definitely some good information. I do believe it couples Well, I mean obviously with Matthew 24, so if there's any confusion, I think Matthew 24 clears that type of stuff up So let's let's end with a word prayer you know the Father we thank you for today think of your word think of the Soul saved today and just praise to be with those that were talked to and and pray they get saved Thank you for all the souls that have been saved and Lord. I pray to be with this soul-winning marathon That's gonna be coming up this Saturday I pray to get everybody all of us safe travels and I pray to prepare the hearts of the people that we talk to when We go out there pay for it be a great success and ultimately Lord We pray that this would all be glorifying to you and we'll be loving your trials in Jesus Christ name. Amen The brother they've come sing one more song and then we'll be dismissed All right, take your song books and turn to song 133 Song 133 if you would stand we'll sing safe wherever I go song 133 Safe wherever I go Peace the world cannot know Sin's all forgiven and heaven my home I'm saved wherever I go You're dismissed
