Feel pastored from here with your Holy Spirit, Lord, as he preaches to us, God, and I pray, Lord, also that you would be with us, God, in the congregation, Lord, as we hear your word preached to us, God, that we would apply it to our lives, Lord, and be edified, God, and leave here differently than when we came in, God. Just a few announcements here before we sing our next song, which will be 228 if you want to get that ready in your songbooks. I love to tell the story. Song number 228. If you did not get a bulletin, go ahead and raise your hand and one of the ushers can get one for you. Brother Israel needs one right here. And some important information on there as well as our prayer sheet. We'll go over that briefly in just a bit. You see there the service time Sunday morning is at 1030. Sunday evening at 5 p.m. And then we have our Thursday night Bible study at 7 o'clock. You see the soul winning times and teams, the list of expecting mothers if you can continue to pray for them, and the important reminders there at the bottom. You can read over that on your own. And then some of the upcoming church events. We have the homeschool field trip coming up next Wednesday to the Discovery Cube in Orange County. Of course, all the activities at our church are free. And so if you are interested in that, you can see my wife for more details regarding that. The Samaria missions trip to Barstow, California is coming up on Saturday, September 24th. And if you want to be a part of that missions trip, you can sign up in the back in the usher station. There's a sign up sheet there. And you can ask if you have any other questions, you can ask brother Ulysses Hernandez for more details about that. We have our anniversary service coming up on Sunday, September 25th. That's our five year anniversary. We'll have something special on that day just to celebrate. And then, of course, our fall program kickoff is on Sunday, October 2nd. Six weeks of just different things that we're going to be highlighting each week on a Sunday, leading up to our Thanksgiving banquet. And so I want to encourage you, we're going to be, of course, it's going to be contest time during that season, where we encourage everyone to bring a visitor. You're going to be able to get points and earn some awards at the end of the program. And so be in prayer over that. And then, of course, you see the regular reminders there at the bottom. Please make sure you silence your phones during the preaching so as to not be a distraction during the service. And I almost forgot, we're preparing for our Christmas program, amen. And so if you want your child to participate in the Christmas program, you can sign up in the back. There's a sign up sheet where the usher station is. And you can sign up there. And my wife, brother Ulysses, or I don't know, some of the other people from the program will get in contact with you. And so feel free to sign up there. We'll keep that up there for the next couple of weeks, so just keep that in mind. And then go ahead and pull out your prayer sheet there. We're going to go over that briefly. Of course, continue to pray for our church corporately, for God's favor in our church. The sowning, the sowning teams, delighted to hear that a lot of new people are learning how to preach the gospel. I know that Caitlin and Ms. Courtney won their first Souls to the Lord on Sunday, amen. That's a blessing. And so they're excited about that. And we want to rejoice with them, amen. And so you see there the different needs. Of course, the church fans, spiritual numerical growth of our church, more laborers, and new people. And of course, we can work on that by bringing visitors to church for the fall program. And I think it's a great season. It's a great opportunity to bring your family, your friends, your coworkers, and help them to get assimilated, especially if they're not saved. They come, we can give them the gospel, get them saved, and then get them baptized and just get them assimilated to the church, invite them to the banquet. It'll be a great season for them to grow into. If you can pray over the fall program there, of course. And just the different needs there as far as church families are concerned, many salvations of different family members that we have that are not saved. But if you can pray specifically for Ms. Katherine Winders, which is Nicole's mom, recovery from cancer surgery, they would greatly appreciate that. Keep her in your prayers. If you have any additional prayer requests that you'd like to be mentioned, you can place that at the bottom, tear that off, and put it into the offering plate, and we'll make sure that it gets on the sheet for the following week, all right? And that is it. Brother Moore is going to come on up and pray over these needs. All right, bow your heads in a word of prayer. Dear Lord, Heavenly Father, thank you for allowing us to be able to come to church, and Lord, we just pray that you bless the service and all the moving parts of the service as well, Lord. And Lord, I just pray that we have your favor on our church. I pray that we're getting sent out of our lives and that we're seeking to please you and ultimately we're also meditating on your word, thinking on your word, Lord, and memorizing scripture as well, Lord. But I just pray that I pray for the soul winning and the soul winning teams that is taking place. I pray for all the people that have gotten saved over the last week and ultimately over the last five years of the church being here, Lord, and obviously it's been a blessing to be able to be a part of such a great event that's happened, obviously, with our church starting. And Lord, just thank you for all the souls that were saved and the great work that you're doing in L.A. and Orange County as well. Lord, I just pray for the missions trips. I pray that places remain open, open to the gospel, open to visitors. And Lord, just pray that people are receptive to the gospel in these places. And Lord, I just pray that we can do a great work for you there as well. Lord, I pray for the new people. I pray for the fall program, for people coming in, getting out committed to the church. Lord, I just pray for the fall program to be a blessing, obviously, to the new people, but also to the church members here as well, as we do the different events, Lord. And Lord, I just pray for the innocent of Monte. I pray that those few people potentially can get saved, Lord. And Lord, I just pray that at least you have a hand of protection over them and ultimately so they can hear the gospel. I pray for the Samaria mission trip that we're going to have in the coming weeks. For Barstow, I pray that you allow their hearts to be softened and that they can be receptive to the gospel. And Lord, I pray that you keep us safe as we're out there, Lord. And Lord, I just pray for family salvations, for people who haven't been able to hear the gospel. For the ladies who are pregnant, I pray that you bless them and minimize any complications pertaining to the delivery of the baby. And then, Lord, I just also want to pray for Ms. Catherine Winders. I pray for a hand of healing over her and recovery from cancer. And Lord, I just also want to just continue. I just pray that you can bless our service here and that we're able to leave greater than when we came. Lord, I pray that we're able to be attentive to the message. We pray the same in the name. Amen. All right, please open up your hymnals to song number 228. Song number 228. I love to tell the story. All right, song number 228. I love to tell the story. Song 228, everyone nice and strong all together. I love to tell the story of unseen things above, of Jesus and His glory, of Jesus and His love. I love to tell the story because I know it's true. It satisfies my longings as nothing else can do. I love to tell the story. It will be my theme in glory to tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love. I love to tell the story, more wonderful it seems than all the golden fancies of all our golden dreams. I love to tell the story. It did so much for me. And that is just the reason I tell it now to thee. I love to tell the story, tell me my theme in glory to tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love. I love to tell the story. It is pleasant to repeat what seems each time I tell it more wonderfully sweetly. I love to tell the story for some have never heard the message of salvation from God's own Holy Word. I love to tell the story. It will be my theme in glory to tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love. I love to tell the story for those who know it best. We sing hungry and thirsting to hear it like the rest. And when it sings of glory, I sing a new, new song. It will be the old, old story that I have loved so long. I love to tell the story.
