First Kings we are on chapter number four and if you remember last week what we talked about we looked at the situation where God appeared to Solomon in a dream and said you know basically what shall I give you. You know and Solomon was wise in that decision what he requested. He requested judgment a wise heart to be able to rule God's people. He put other people before himself. And then we saw at the end of the chapter how he displayed that wisdom when two harlots came to him and they both you know had a similar story. You know and that's always hard to judge you know who's right and who's wrong. Solomon went right to it cut them both to the heart and wound up pulling out the truth from the real mother. And that news flourished that news spread Solomon's fame spread throughout the world. I believe that 100 percent. And then now in chapter number four we get to see the results of that wisdom. So again Solomon young um new in his kingship he's got the wisdom from God and he's starting to rule and reign this nation. And what we're going to see today are the effects of that. Okay this is very important to understand especially in light of what's going on in our world today. So the title of the sermon this evening is wisdom wealth and freedom wisdom wealth and freedom kind of sounds like a new evangelical Joel Osteen thing but completely different meaning than what you might be thinking right. So obviously this chapter starts off with a lot of names. Good job David reading those names because we're not going over them. Good job man you did you did great way better than I would have always butchered those names I'm like ah whatever you know it is what is that that's why I nickname everybody okay is because I just see this I'm like I can't pronounce that whatever but wisdom wealth and freedom as opposed to being woke no wealth and communism okay that's really kind of where the road we're going to go down today but we're going to pick this up here in verse number 20. So if you would look at verse number 20 the Bible says Judah and Israel were many as the sand which is by the sea in multitude eating and drinking and making Mary let's stop right there. So understand what's going on here they have a king this is all 12 tribes of Israel dwelling together look what it says Judah and Israel were many okay let's think about that now what are we being told today by the elite that many is not good right we have too many people on the planet isn't that Bill Gates thing well we gotta you know if we do a good job through vaccines and through all these other programs you know we can solve this this overpopulation issue that we have okay if you think the world's overpopulated go drive from here to Sacramento okay just go drive from here to Winnemucca and tell me that the world is too populated okay look almost every time I take that route I literally see like two or three cars in four hours okay I don't think the world's overpopulated go drive kingdom of heaven because this ain't working out okay look at verse 22 and Solomon's provision for one day was 30 measures of fine flour and three score measures of meal verse 23 10 fat oxen and 20 oxen out of the pastures and 100 sheep besides hearts and roebucks and fallow deer and fatted fowl so I mean look his household his staff his servants everything that he has going on where he's at I mean there is an abundance of food there's plenty for everyone and it's good food too you notice here that he's not pushing veganism by the way we're having a barbecue in a little while okay which hopefully can follow along this is going to be too long you know and guess what it's not going to be a vegan barbecue okay we're going to have meats and all kinds of things that's good for you and people are getting married they're having children there are families and they are thriving in this nation and it doesn't even give you the number it says they are as many as the sandwiches by the sea okay and guess what there's plenty for everyone that my friend is discernment that is wisdom okay that is understanding the power of God if our if we could just get like one ruler just just one person to become president get saved and say you know I'm going to go against the system you know it's possible that God would give him the wisdom that we could experience something like this I mean why not you know now is that going to happen no because I think we're pretty close to the end but you know it is what it is okay so again you have a healthy population food is good and plenty the economy is great resources are great the surrounding nations are at peace with the nation of Israel which is very foreign during this time usually there's some sort of fight usually Israel's got beef with the Philistines and all these other states there's always all these problems but because of the wisdom that Solomon has and because of his large heart because of how you know the ability that God has given him he's able to basically live at peace amongst all the world and it's just an awesome thing so you say what's the result of wisdom from a leader well wisdom blesses other people and causes them to flourish that's what you're going to see when someone is wise okay as opposed to communism I mean how many people are lacking today because of the system of communism or socialism or what have you right those are prison planet type governments they are designed for total control they're they're uh designed to to basically usher in satanism that's really what it boils down to that's what those are for okay the reason why people want to bring in the socialist stuff in this communist stuff is because they are one being pushed by a darker force but two these darker forces need that in the planet so that somebody can come over and easily take over this planet and I'm pretty sure you know who that individual will be we've talked about it before so let's move on here look at verse number 24 it says for he had dominion over all the region on this side the river from tifsa even to aza over all the kings on this side the river and he had peace on all sides round about him now stop and think about that the bible says that we are kings and priests we're going to have issues with people it's just part of life okay but the wiser that we get and the more understanding we gain from the word of god you know the more uh we're going to even be able to to function in a peaceable role amongst people that we work with people in our families so on and so forth you're definitely going to see that look at verse 25 it says in juda and israel dwelt safely dwelt safely so this is not detroit okay this is not portland sorry guys but it's all good right this is not seattle this is not san francisco it says in juda and israel dwelt safely every man don't miss this under what his you see that his vine and under his fig tree from dan even to beersheba all the days of solomon so even place in second chronicles chapter nine because we're going to come right back to it but let's just let's just deal with this okay let's just deal with this i i try to deal with these supposed first kings chapter 4 verse 26 so you go to second chronicles 9 and i'm going to reread first kings 4 26 okay so first kings 4 26 one more time it says and solomon king solomon had 40 000 okay what did he have 40 000 of stalls of horses stalls of horses for his chariots and 12 000 footmen so first kings chapter 4 verse 26 says that solomon had 40 000 stalls of horses okay look at second chronicles chapter 9 in what is it verse 25 so here's what they'll do they'll say oh well it's contradiction look at verse 25 in second chronicles chapter 9 solomon had 4 000 stalls for horses you see that stalls for horses and chariots and 12 000 horsemen whom he bestowed in the chariot cities and with the king of jerusalem okay so they'll say see in first kings it says 40 000 and in second chronicles chapter 9 it says 4 000 so there's a contradiction okay the people who translated the niv bible have changed first kings to reflect 4 000 so they match now here's the thing okay who knows who knows who's ever heard the word sagice right the sagices always challenging jesus right always casting doubt on the resurrection casting doubt on the bible that they had of their time why didn't they ever bring this up why don't they ever bring things like this up you know why isn't it why is it like just just now all of a sudden in america this is a big deal it wasn't a big deal in the 1300s it wasn't a big deal during their time it wasn't a big deal during the time of christ you get what i'm saying you know it wasn't brought up when the apostles went and tore the world upside down it's not recorded in there why is that because there's no contradiction they say two different things first kings says this and solomon had 40 000 stalls of horses okay what's the stalls like a stable 40 000 stalls of horses what is second chronicles 9 25 saying and solomon had 4 000 stalls for horses and chariots those are two different things so if you do the math and they had 10 horses per chariot that would be your 40 000 there's nothing wrong with the bible you know all of these supposed contradictions when people bring them to us i like to look at it you know bring them you know bring them and we'll take a look and we'll come out and we'll talk about it and there's always an excellent answer for every single one of them there's always more than enough but you know what people just want something so that they can reason in their hearts and be like i know it's not true it can't be true these are the type of people that when the heavens scroll back and they see the son of god on his throne and they say hide us from him who sitteth on the throne okay those same people that have that same mentality are alive and well today and they're looking at the bible and saying hide us from him who wrote these words in the bible it's the same mentality it's the same people they don't want to see the truth however okay there are people that do want to see the truth and a lot of new evangelicals you know what they say this was a scribal error okay a lot of people say that you know this was a scribe a scribe messed up like don't you think that would have been corrected and all the manuscripts up until now you know you you gotta ask the question you gotta think about these things okay there are no errors i used to have a pastor this guy was like honestly really smart he was saved but he would always make this statement he'd always be like there's no mistranslation or you see there's no errors in the bible but there are mistranslations okay that's wrong i don't believe his chariots okay so they would take the horses from the 40 000 stalls and they would be able to go over to the stalls that were big enough to uh to mount up the horses to the chariots okay that's how that worked you know you're not going to bring the chariots over to these 40 000 and try to figure it all out no you're going to take the horses out of these stalls and first kings then you're going to bring them to the ones that are big enough to put the gear on to put all the harnesses and to have enough men to be able to work around each other you see what i'm saying and to be able to set these things up that's what the bible is telling you have some faith believe the bible rightly divide the word of truth that is the lesson there so let's read a couple more verses here and we'll go right back to second chronicles chapter 9 look at verse 27 it says this it says and those officers provided victual for king solomon and for all that came onto king solomon's table every man in his out for north korea people always want to pull well let's go to norway you know they're the real nice to the prisoners and and what about sweden and all these other places who cares about them okay go door to door sword winning over there and see what happens to you okay you do not have free thought you do not have rule and reign over your children you know you're not going to just go to a lot of these other countries and be like oh i'm going to homeschool my kids go try that in germany and see what happens to you go up to canada and see what happens to you okay it's wicked is what it is okay but here we see these people lack nothing verse 28 barley also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where the officers were every man according to his charge so if you're wondering what a dromedary is it's a one-humped camel okay and that's what that is i looked it up because i forgot but that word when i was looking it up is still in use today you know it's used all over the place in all kinds of news articles and people you know talking about camels they use that word dramedaries so you know stay away from these guys oh we gotta update the language and that's archaic just expand your vocabulary simple get smarter that's why we have the bible right verse 29 it says and god gave solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much and also don't miss this part this is very important and largeness of heart even as the sand that is on the seashore okay largeness of heart that's something we all should strive for and we all should need especially today's day and age because it's easy man you know we just went through some protests and you know somebody messaged today you know there's a big paragraph of cuss words i was like i can't even decipher that it's like whatever this stuff doesn't bother me but it's easy i don't know if you're like me it's easy to be like come on man what's up you know like always looking for a fight you know i find myself in that mentality like where's the next person wants to mess with me you know like where they are and then i have to think like man is that really being wise no it's just my pride or whatever you don't even you guys are looking at me like you don't struggle with this and i know you do so don't don't leave me up here hanging all right we all have these issues all right but go back to second chronicles chapter number nine it's a largeness of heart you're going to get to see that here in second chronicles chapter number nine so i wanted to bring this up because when you study the life of solomon you're not going to get the story of the queen of sheba when she comes to visit solomon uh in first kings you have to go to second chronicles nine so i figured let's just get this one here out of the way because this is uh definitely a lot of wisdom here and this is also going to be a great review for us because um during our three-year anniversary i preached a sermon where i used this story and i talked about the importance of some of the things that we're going to read and so we'll kind of get into it but let's take a look here all right second chronicles chapter number nine i'll look at verse number one the bible says this it says when the queen of sheba heard the fame of solomon she came to prove solomon with hard questions at jerusalem with a very great company and camels that bear spices and golden abundance and precious stones and when she was come to solomon she communed with him all that was in her heart okay so think about this think about how travel was back then you know think about how the the climate was you know they didn't have the cars and the trains and you know all that stuff and she hears this wisdom she's like i got to see this for myself i've got to take some guys we have to go over there we have to risk our lives make that harsh journey to actually go see what he has to say and it was all worth it look at verse number two it says in solomon look at this look at how this is written and solomon told her all her questions so she's communing with solomon everything that's in her heart and solomon's so wise he's got such a great understanding that he's able to just put two and two together and he's like i bet you're wondering about this i'll bet you're wondering about this i'll bet you have this question right and he's able to tell her questions right and solomon told her all her questions so he not only answers the questions that she has but he is able to discern questions she has but hasn't maybe even asked yet it says this and there was nothing hid from solomon which he told her not so he's so wise with the word of god at this point in his role in this point in his reign that he's able to there's nothing that she could hide from him so if she was looking at him like maybe with this weird look he would be able to discern i'll bet you're wondering about this how this works or how that works and so on and so forth and he was just able to tell her that information look at verse three it says and when the queen of sheba had seen the wisdom of solomon and the house that he had built and the meat of his table and the sitting of his servants and the attendance of his ministers and their apparel his cupbearers also in their apparel and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the lord there was no more spirit in her so the way when she sees how everything is ran decently and in order it literally takes her breath away and she's just like i can't believe it i mean i heard about it but to see with my own eyes is just something different right and and at the beginning of the year for this church we talked about this and talked about you know there's a reason why we do things the way that we do them okay now look i don't claim to have all the answers you know i learned how to run a church in sacramento and pastor menes you know a great pastor a great teacher you know taught us how to do things and it's kind of how we've rolled with it you know but we have a different style building we have a different church congregation we have different circumstances so sometimes you know i have a different background so some things might be a little bit different but that's okay that doesn't you know that's not a slap in the face as long as it's done decently and in order and it's not violating the bible it's okay you know i've been to a lot of new ifb churches and you know what they're all ran very similarly but there's always something different you know like one church might pass the plate during the song or you know different little things like that you know no one luckily i've only met like maybe one or two people that were petty enough to be like it's not exactly like faithful order it's not exactly like verity most people aren't like that they're like hey as long as it's done decently and in order who cares that's the goal look we don't want people to come in here and be like what are these comms doing they don't they don't know where their bibles are at they don't know what they're talking about everything's in you know chaotic order right now we have our service times we start when we start we have uh you know the songs the way we have them we have the announcement we just try to do everything decently and in order so that you know when people come in they're like okay this is put together you know these guys know what they're doing they love the lord so on and so forth but we also do it to hopefully get a reaction like this from people so that they'll see you know we're not just this crazy maniac cult that the news tried to paint us out to be which is normal people that believe the bible and we're going against the grain of society that's what it is verse number five and she said to the king it was a true report which i heard in my own land of thine acts and of thy wisdom so look when we live wisely we make wise decisions not just sunday not just wednesday but monday tuesday you know we are doing the best that we can to live according to the wisdom of god it shows to the world whether they want to admit it or not god causes people to see that in us and that's a great thing it gets results verse six says this how be it i believe not their words until i came and my eyes had seen it and behold the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me for thou exceedest the fame that i heard there are a lot of people out there who have messaged especially since we've been in the news and they're like i really want to come check it out all right and it's like cool you know we've had a lot of visitors we had a lot of people come in but a lot of those people have not yet made the journey you know and hopefully someday they will and they'll see you know we're just normal people we love the lord this is not a cult i do not come to your houses i do not want to come to your houses and make sure you're following everything i say i don't care okay you say well that's harsh no look i got my own problems i got my own job i got my own things to worry about i don't have time to do that but you know what there's organizations out there that will do that for you you know that mormon tabernacle over there they will take by force your tithe they will extract that out of you they're not giving you an option they've got the hofni and phineas ministry okay where they're gonna take a grappling hook to your bank account into your kitchen pull out the best of the offerings man that's what they do okay they will literally come to your house and be like hey this is how it's gonna be oh your husband your wife said this divorce them like they're gonna make you make decisions we're not like that preach the bible you either follow or you do you know i mean it is what it is but the point is wisdom gets results okay wisdom gets results look at how she's acting here you know and and what do you think her attitude is towards the lord after this that's what this is all about you know what are people going to think about the lord that's why we exist that's why we do things the way that we do them is so that people will be like wow that's wise that's wise that had to come from god look at verse seven it says happy are thy men and happy are these thy servants which stand continually before thee and hear thy wisdom that's what's up how many people are happy working for kim jong-un how many people do you think are really happy working for joe dirty right and bite me you know they paint on the smile oh good money no he's scratching her backs in some way i'm sure but they're not happy they're not happy with themselves you know these people aren't happy that they're male they're not happy that they're female you think they're happy working for this clown i doubt it these people are happy under a king right and what are we told today oh it's bad to have a king you know it's a dictatorship here you're promoting dictatorship i'd rather live in this system than ours any day of the week look at verse eight blessed look at this attitude blessed be the lord thy god which delighteth in thee to set thee on his throne to be king for the lord thy god because thy god loved israel to establish them forever therefore made he the king over them to do judgment and justice again look you can't throw out judgment and justice and declare yourself wise and tolerant and all-knowing and a person that we should follow that is foolishness according to the bible okay but look at her attitude here she gives praise to who to god she's not like solomon i'm gonna worship you right here right now you notice she doesn't do that that tells you something that tells you everything solomon did however he had things worked out the order of business the way his establishment was ran the way he ran his house the way his servants acted pointed to the lord and she had no choice but to give god the credit okay that's why we don't have the rock bands in here that's why we don't have the concerts we do not want to draw attention to ourselves we want people to come in here and be like hey it's all about the word of god it's all about the bible it's all about what god said it's not about what man said you know look at verse nine and she gave the king 120 talents of gold and of spices great abundance and precious stones neither was there any such spice as the queen of sheba gave king solomon interesting here the nation of israel at this time they have an abundance of families they have great wealth great resources i mean everything is just going perfect and here you have this nation which is not as wealthy and she's coming with gifts for him right think about that just just dwell on that thought i'm not going to get into it just dwell on that today look at verse 10 and the servants also of huram and the servants of solomon which brought gold from over brought algham trees and precious stones and the king made of the algham trees uh terraces to the house of the lord and to the king's palace and harps and salt trees for singers and there were none such seen before in the land of judah in verse 12 says and king solomon gave to the queen of sheba all her desire whatsoever she asked beside that which she had brought unto the king so she turned and went away to her own land she and her servants now here's the thing okay she gives god the praise she gives god the credit here she sees how god is working in this nation what does she do she takes it back to her nation and guess what she obviously tells those people because by the time you get to acts you start seeing ethiopians you start seeing you know and even before that you know the word of god obviously went down there and god's glory and god's fame and god received praise you know people i believe got saved and this was a great thing all because of what wisdom all because someone decided to put other people before themselves okay that's the result wisdom equals wealth wealth equals freedom and again i'm not talking about dollars okay are these dollars who knows what's going to happen to the dollar tomorrow you might wake up and be your bank account says zero you know oh we're getting rid of the credit score and everybody's going to cheer and be like but there's a social score guess what you come to this church you're going to be on the bottom of that social score man that's what's going to happen to you i'm just being honest i'm not trying to scare you we'll be all right because we have the wisdom of god we'll make it we'll be just fine so go back to first kings chapter four and let's keep moving on here we're getting close to being done verse 30 first kings 4 look at verse 30 so after the bible tells us and god gave solomon in verse 29 god gave solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much and largeness of heart even as the sand that is on the seashore hopefully the the story of the queen of sheba was a good illustration of that look at verse 30 and solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country and all the wisdom of egypt so again we talk about this all the time you know there are wise people around there are wise people that aren't saved there are people that have wisdom you know there are people who have lived a long life who have had you know just a lot of great experiences you know you should you should have enough discernment now to be able to listen to some of the things they say you know that guy who's been doing that job for you know 10 15 20 years that person has some wisdom hopefully in his craft you know you should never be like oh you're not saved you don't believe the bible i'm not gonna listen to anything you say you know he may have some good nuggets of wisdom which god brought you to that person to get to better you okay so again the bible's telling us that he exceeded all of that this yeah i mean this this is just crazy look at verse 31 it says for he was wiser than all men all men and guess what he's wiser than einstein or tesla or any of these other people that are brought up today you know solomon was wiser look at this it says for he was wiser than all men than ethan the ezraite and uh uh heman and uh chalcol and darda and the sons of mel and his fame was in all nations round about now ethan the ezraite you might be wondering well who is that i don't remember which psalm it was but you know the psalms have the headers well somewhere in the 80s region i want to say don't quote me on them somehow i believe somewhere in the 80s region you'll see that uh as with the the ethan the ezraite's name's mentioned in there but just a little trivial for you look at verse 32 it says and he spake three thousand proverbs and his songs were a thousand and five this guy could make up the songs he spoke three thousand proverbs think about that we don't even have all three thousand of those and i mean we got the word of god but could you imagine you know if we had all that too you know it'd be hard to live because you wouldn't be able to stop reading you know never be able to to move forward but we have the ones that we need to succeed in life you know all the way to the end of the planet but uh real quickly deuteronomy 17. deuteronomy 17. by the way here's a good reading plan for you if i haven't brought this up in a while i don't always do this but i've done this a lot in the past and i kind of cycle this through you know i think it's a great idea for you to read a chapter of proverbs a day you know if you if you're new with your bible reading you know i would start there if maybe you struggle reading or something of that nature you know start with one chapter of proverbs a day so what's today the third or something the fourth i don't even know today this what is today oh the fifth yeah so you read proverbs chapter five you know just meditate and think on that tomorrow chapter six you know do that for a while it gets you in the habit of reading gets you a lot of wisdom a lot of understanding and then you know hopefully use that to turn into discipline and just keep on going just keep reading the bible and talking and speaking of bible reading deuteronomy 17 we're going to start reading in verse 14 now i'm going to constantly as we study throughout the books of the kings i'm going to keep going back to this passage here so i just want you to be familiar with this look at what the bible says here so deuteronomy 17 obviously god is giving moses instructions for the nation of israel they don't have the system of the kings yet it was never god's desire to make a human king he wanted the system of the judges to remain but you know how the people were they're like we want to be like the nations that are around us and we want a king to fight for us it's a wicked thing but god says i know you're going to ask for that and when you do here are the stipulations look at verse 14 the bible says this when thou art come unto the land which the lord thy god giveth thee and shall possess it and shall dwell therein and shall say i will set a king over me like as all the nations that are about me now just understand that was not god's will but he's saying since i know you're going to do this look at verse 15 thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee whom the lord thy god shall choose okay this was the problem with adonai in chapter one god didn't choose adonai okay adonai was dreaming okay dream boy you know oh i'm the old i'm older than solomon i should be king i'm better looking at him i should be king anyways thou shalt so so what did he say uh that god will choose a king look at the rest of the verse after the colon one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee thou mayest not set a stranger over thee which is not thy brother okay so somebody born outside during this time somebody who was not a brother was not supposed to be king this nation here has a president has uh i mean there's a lot of politicians who are literally strangers to the american concept these people are bought and paid for by wicked men by i don't know if it's china george sort of i mean take your pick satan how about that okay they are strangers okay that is unwise it is unwise to have the politicians that we do have but you know what it's because the wicked hearts of the people in this country and the refusal to acknowledge truth that we're in this mess that we're in but let's move on here look at verse 16 says but he shall not multiply horses to himself nor cause the people to return to egypt to to the end that he should multiply uh horses for as much as the lord hath said unto you ye shall henceforth return no more that way okay every king violates this practically you know in lugar 17 neither shall he multiply what wives to himself okay what is psalm and eventually going to do you guys already know he's going to do this okay what's the problem here though that his heart turn not away neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold so these things should come from god not from himself meaning his focus should not be that nature of covetousness okay who's ever worked for somebody who all they can think about is coveting other people's stuff okay i have and those people are terrible leaders look at verse 17 or i'm sorry verse 18 and it shall be here's the application and it shall be when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests and the levites okay i mean we could spend all night there we're getting close to being done but what did the catholic church do for many many years they tried to prevent people from having access to the word of god to prevent people from copying down the bible for themselves right i mean that is history here but here god says hey you know when you guys choose a king that king better go get that book and make himself a copy and guess what that copy would be just as good if it was copied accurately you know just as good just as powerful as the original okay i don't want to go off on that i gotta restrain i gotta refrain from that look at verse 19 it says and it shall be with him and he shall read therein all the days of his life that he may learn to fear the lord his god to keep all the words of this law and these statutes to do them i don't know if it doesn't say but i don't think solomon copied down the part here that we're reading if he did he didn't read it or was just like i think i can i'm so wise i can manage these women okay he couldn't do it it was too much okay one wife was enough multiples big trouble big trouble look at verse 20 here's the whole point and and and you'll see where i'm going with this in a second okay that his heart so so why copy the word why read it every day well obviously to fear the lord because that brings knowledge that brings wisdom right that's what makes us smart but verse 20 says that his heart be not lifted up above his brethren and that he turned not aside from the commandment to the right hand or to the left to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom he and his children in the midst of israel okay i'm telling you right now listen to what i'm telling you christians that do not read the bible but trust in just the sermons they're watching are a problem every time if you do not grow beyond that look watch all the sermons you can but read this book for yourself study to show yourself approved unto god or you will become a problem you will become a problem that is a huge thing that i have seen since we started this church it's a problem i'm always looking out for it too you say are you just trying to get people listening i don't care how many people listen to me on the internet but i do care about the people in here that you study for yourself that you are reading this book because you are a king you are a priest and it is your job to study these things and to read these things every single day that's your job that is what's going to save you from becoming offended later on everybody we've ever had come through here right and they're like oh man i'm on board all this and this and that and they they don't read at all or they just whatever you just keep watching the internet you know what and i love the people on there i try to help them all the time we pray for them we have a special section on our prayer list for them god we we love those people they're our friends okay but people that come in here and they can't give it up they always get offended the bible says great peace have they which love thy law okay when you take away the law subtly and you just all you can do is just listen look you're you're you're you're storing up for yourself trouble i'm just trying to save you i don't think we have anybody in here like that i'm just saying this is wisdom here okay the bible says hey when you become that king you need to copy these things down and read them every single day okay love learn to love the bible look use motivation if something someone says motivates you that's great but i'll tell you right now the only thing that's going to cause you to be successful is discipline and discipline comes from being content with where you're at being consistent and being courageous okay we talked about that like three weeks ago go back to first kings and we'll finish up i mean as we study through the books of the kings you're going to see how the the kings after salomon they violated this they didn't they didn't do this it's like not until you get to josiah that you see this big revival because they find the book of the law and like oh man okay that's what it says you know like wow that's why we're on all this trouble right we can save ourselves from that kind of a mess by having the mindset as a church to learn to read the bible to just love like i'm not saying that everybody in here you better read 100 chapters a day i'm not saying that but learn and discipline yourself and understand you will be blessed by reading the word of god every single day okay verse 33 look what it says it says any spake of trees from the cedar tree that is in lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall he spake also of beasts and of fowl and of creeping things and of fishes so look this guy i mean he was like a lot of people like oh you ever watch kent hovind stuff kent hovind had some some great stuff back in the day you know but he could tell you way more than ken hovind could about fishes and trees and creation sites and all that stuff you know i mean you ask him he just could put it together you know he just understood it was the wisest person alive verse 34 and there came of all people to hear the wisdom of solomon from all the kings of the earth which had heard of his wisdom so last place i want to have you turn to second corinthians chapter number three and we're done second corinthians chapter number three so again i titled this sermon wisdom wealth and freedom okay well what's wisdom it's knowledge applied it's understanding it's the manner in which to judge make great decisions there's a lot that goes into wisdom okay there's a lot that fits in that package well what's wealth well it's it's money okay and i'll just make this statement right here if you have wealth or if you gain wealth let me just put it put it clearly to gain wealth without wisdom is theft okay look bill gates george soros these rich people clob schwab or whatever his name is okay these people are rich because they have stolen people's money they are robbing the world okay they did not get it the way that solomon did okay solomon was the wisest man to live obviously we're not you know comparing them to the lord jesus christ but you saw his physical wealth that he had but think about the spiritual wealth that he built up because we're sitting here in 2022 september 5th and we're gaining the wealth from learning about his mistakes and learning about the things that he did well okay so again wisdom equals wealth we're talking about eternal wealth we're talking about storing up for ourselves those treasures in heaven that's what wisdom is really going to do for you you know yes god will bless you god will give you things that you need and things you even don't need we see that in solomon's life right he put other people first and god said hey because you didn't ask for the lives of your enemies you didn't ask for this and ask for that i'm just going to give you this stuff anyways right i'm going to give you that wisdom plus i'm going to add unto you all these other things so wisdom equals wealth and wealth will lead to freedom you don't have to turn there but john chapter 8 verse 32 says this jesus said this he said he shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free jesus was talking to a multitude in which some of that multitude believed on him in john chapter 8 and he makes this statement he shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free even if you live in a communist country even if you live in this country you stay free from what free from the bondage of trying to work your way to heaven that's what he's talking about wisdom leads to wealth so guess what this whole story here in chapter 4 is a picture it's actually a couple of pictures but it's a picture of people having you know what deciding i'm going to take this i'm going to take this wise route i'm going to place my faith on the lord jesus christ that gives you wealth you get that free gift of the holy ghost which exceeds any monetary value you can't put a price on that salvation and that salvation leads you to being free okay second corinthians chapter 3 look at verse 17 it says now the lord is that spirit and where the spirit of the lord is there is liberty capital s if you are saved you are indwelt with the holy spirit therefore you are free you are free from dead works you are free from bondage you are free from the system of this world yes we still live here but we have a different position we have a different job we can function as ambassadors and still realize i don't care if kim jong-un and all these other crazy commies come here and take over this country you can still be wise you can still mass wealth and you can still be free that is what this chapter should tell us and should teach us and by the way it's also a picture of what's coming the fact that jesus christ will come back to this earth and rule and reign with a rod of iron and you know what people are going to be happy men are going to be men women will be women animals will be animals there won't be any of this oh what about the animal rights and are you know and then this stuff no no there isn't going to be no pride month right none of that it's going to be his way or the highway you know that's how it was at this time while salomon was really look what do you think would have happened if somebody would have rose up and said you know what we need to buck this system salomon we're coming for you he would have had him put to death right go read chapter two he would have pulled out benaya the son of and taken care of you that's what he did it was his way or the highway he was dictating the shops he was the king and everybody was happy families were allowed to expand and there was enough food plenty of food and people were happy and he had a large heart so you know what it is possible for us to be wise and have a large heart and so on and so forth so we're going to stop the story right there i know you guys are hungry and you can probably smell them cupcakes back there so we'll stop right there it's a wise thing on barbecue uh sunday to stop at this point in time so let's bow our heads have a word of prayer thank you so much lord again for the wisdom of your word i just pray that you'd help us to continuously seek this wisdom lord that we may show this to the world and be able to help those who need the help lord to give them truth and to set them free the way you told us to set them free in jesus name i pray amen all right let's go ahead and sing one more hymn this evening number 316 i have decided to follow jesus and sing it out just
