the word sometimes it's going to be reminded 27:09.260 --> 27:15.100 of these things sometimes we get so caught up in our things drama going on other churches things 27:15.100 --> 27:19.820 going on in the world we kind of recited these things so it's going to be reminded of what's 27:19.820 --> 27:23.340 what the Bible actually says and how we should conduct ourselves as Christians especially in 27:23.340 --> 27:29.900 churches so again this is not something that's optional this is not something that is something 27:29.900 --> 27:33.020 you can just choose to if you want to when you feel like it this is something that's commanded 27:33.020 --> 27:39.660 by God for us that we love the brethren in the church so the first point is going to be what love 27:39.660 --> 27:44.860 actually means because people say that word a lot oh I love everyone I don't hate anybody you know 27:44.860 --> 27:49.260 that's a lie in itself because you hate me usually when you say that usually hate fundamentalists 27:49.260 --> 27:53.740 right I mean that's just the truth I mean people are like oh yeah I don't hate anybody well that's 27:53.740 --> 27:57.020 a lie you probably hate me right now because I'm trying to preach you and get you saved and you 27:57.020 --> 28:04.300 find that offensive but my first point is going to be what love actually means in this context when 28:04.300 --> 28:10.780 it comes to loving your brethren and the Bible says here in Romans chapter 13 verse 8 it says 28:10.780 --> 28:17.500 oh no man anything but to love one another for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law 28:18.060 --> 28:24.060 for this thou shalt not commit adultery thou shalt not kill thou shalt not steal thou shalt not bear 28:24.060 --> 28:30.300 false witness thou shalt not covet and if there be any other commandment it is briefly 28:30.300 --> 28:36.940 comprehended in this saying namely thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself love worketh no 28:36.940 --> 28:43.500 ill will to his neighbor therefore love is the fulfilling of the law you see the verse just 28:43.500 --> 28:47.740 defined for us what love is there it's the fulfilling the law which the ultimate law is stars align and everything's great then I'm just going to love my brethren no we're 29:07.260 --> 29:12.620 supposed to do it even when times are going hard for us even when things aren't going well for us 29:13.100 --> 29:17.260 you know oftentimes we get it backwards as Christians we think oh I'm going to serve 29:17.260 --> 29:22.060 God when things get right no you serve God anyway that's the way you're supposed to do it now in my 29:22.060 --> 29:26.460 life personally just from my experience I found me just serving God that's where my life seems 29:26.460 --> 29:33.660 to just fall into place and the Bible says here in John 13 verse 34 and 35 this is what Jesus Christ 29:33.660 --> 29:40.140 says a new commandment I give unto you that you love one another so is Jesus Christ telling us to 29:40.140 --> 29:45.820 love one another he is and what is the definition of it means to fulfill the law which is to help 29:45.820 --> 29:52.620 each other and the Bible also says that what is not loving one another only but also indeed in truth 29:52.620 --> 29:59.020 you know ultimate the ultimate love is loving the truth loving the gospel loving people that also 29:59.020 --> 30:09.980 love the truth as well and it says by this shall all men know that ye are my disciples if ye have 30:10.060 --> 30:14.700 one to another you know we're out so many today and we saw this non-denominational church called 30:14.700 --> 30:19.020 Christian church or something and it's on the sign disciples of Christ or something you know 30:20.060 --> 30:25.660 what's the real death what's the real uh label when you know someone's actually a disciple about 30:25.660 --> 30:30.460 when they love the brethren in the church when they actually prefer one another this Bible also 30:30.460 --> 30:36.140 says that uh that you prefer one another over the world you know I do believe there is wisdom in 30:36.140 --> 30:40.620 being friends with the unrighteous mammon with unsafe peoples you can learn anything from anybody 30:41.180 --> 30:47.260 but your your closest friends should be the ones here at church if you can't think of someone that 30:47.260 --> 30:52.460 isn't a friend here at this church I mean maybe you gotta you know be one while going you show 30:52.460 --> 30:56.700 yourself this Bible says he that have friends shows himself to be friendly this is why I whole day here when we can be doing anything else why is so we can identify each 31:49.660 --> 31:54.780 other and get people saved that's why we're here that's the whole point if you're on john 33:16.940 --> 33:22.940 second john third john is just loving the brethren and it is constantly equating with loving the 33:22.940 --> 33:30.220 brethren with loving the truth you know I'm not saying everyone that just has a bad day and is mad 33:30.220 --> 33:34.540 at someone at church I'm not saying they're not safe but if you just have this ongoing constant 33:35.100 --> 33:38.780 disposition towards someone at church people at church that you just hate the people of God and 33:38.780 --> 33:44.940 there's no love for them at all I wonder if you're safe to be honest but the Bible says here 33:45.420 --> 33:52.700 in first john chapter three sorry first john chapter one verse three that which we have seen 33:52.700 --> 34:00.940 and heard declare we unto you that ye also may have fellowship with us and truly our fellowship 34:00.940 --> 34:06.540 is with the father and with his son Jesus Christ verse seven it says this but if we walk in the 34:06.540 --> 34:11.740 light as he
