dishonorable mentions, 00:19.020 --> 00:21.120 doesn't mean that I covered every single person, 00:21.120 --> 00:24.600 because I was thinking, I was reading through some verses, 00:24.600 --> 00:27.120 and I know the King of Tyre and other kings, 00:27.360 --> 00:30.480 obviously are pictures of the Antichrist always, 00:30.480 --> 00:33.720 the King of Tyrus, the King of Tyre, 00:33.720 --> 00:35.440 he definitely pictures the Antichrist, 00:35.440 --> 00:38.060 and I'll talk a little bit about that tonight, 00:38.060 --> 00:41.520 but tonight I wanted to, I was gonna preach, you know, 00:41.520 --> 00:44.900 that there might be a few more people than just Solomon, 00:44.900 --> 00:47.280 but Solomon is the one I'm preaching about tonight, 00:47.280 --> 00:51.440 and he's saved, so I'm not saying that Solomon's not saved, 00:51.440 --> 00:55.540 but there are some pictures that Solomon represents 00:55.540 --> 00:58.460 that I do believe picture the Antichrist, 00:58.460 --> 01:02.200 and so people can picture other, you know, 01:02.200 --> 01:04.640 bad people can picture good people, 01:04.640 --> 01:08.820 like Absalom was hanged by his hair in that tree, 01:08.820 --> 01:10.940 he was suspended between heaven and earth, 01:10.940 --> 01:12.940 a dart was thrust in his side, 01:12.940 --> 01:17.160 Absalom was a bad guy, but in the end he pictured Christ, 01:17.160 --> 01:21.700 and you know, being hung on a tree, and so on and so forth. 01:21.700 --> 01:23.860 Now Aaron, also in the Bible, 01:23.860 --> 01:27.620 the first high priest of the children of Israel, 01:27.620 --> 01:31.460 when Moses was gone, that whole chapter pretty much pictures 01:31.460 --> 01:35.420 like the end times and the rapture and things like that, 01:35.420 --> 01:38.220 but Aaron pictures the false prophet, 01:38.220 --> 01:39.720 was Aaron a false prophet? 01:39.720 --> 01:43.260 No, Aaron was not a false prophet, Aaron was a good guy, 01:43.260 --> 01:46.660 he made some really stupid mistakes in that chapter, 01:46.660 --> 01:48.500 and he just wasn't a very good leader, 01:48.500 --> 01:52.280 so his problem was that he shouldn't have been left there 01:52.280 --> 01:53.820 by himself with all those people, 01:54.660 --> 01:57.420 because the worst types of people are gonna take over 01:57.420 --> 02:00.500 in situations where the leader is weak, 02:00.500 --> 02:04.340 and so Aaron, but he does picture the false prophet, 02:04.340 --> 02:06.980 even though he was not a false prophet, he was saved, 02:06.980 --> 02:10.420 and so don't get all upset thinking that I'm, you know, 02:10.420 --> 02:12.900 just taking this out of context or something, 02:12.900 --> 02:16.140 I'm saying that Solomon pictures the anti-Christ 02:16.140 --> 02:18.380 in some ways, and I was gonna bring up some more people 02:18.380 --> 02:21.220 that I thought might picture the anti-Christ that are saved, 02:21.220 --> 02:22.880 but I'm just gonna stick with Solomon tonight, 02:23.240 --> 02:24.400 and pretty much him alone, 02:24.400 --> 02:26.980 I might touch on a couple other people, 02:26.980 --> 02:29.920 but just for the sake of the sermon, 02:29.920 --> 02:31.320 it's just gonna be about Solomon here, 02:31.320 --> 02:35.100 so I do, before I wanted to fully get into the sermon, 02:35.100 --> 02:38.600 last week I mentioned that the king of Sodom 02:38.600 --> 02:41.680 wasn't named in chapter 14, but I was wrong about that, 02:41.680 --> 02:43.320 someone showed me right after the service, 02:43.320 --> 02:45.840 so I'm just gonna eat a little bit of crow, 02:45.840 --> 02:47.680 and say that his name was mentioned, 02:47.680 --> 02:49.440 as it mentioned at the beginning of the chapter, 02:49.440 --> 02:51.920 so I made a mistake there, I apologize, 02:51.960 --> 02:53.560 I was sloppy preaching on my part, 02:53.560 --> 02:56.540 so, and you know, every once in a while, 02:56.540 --> 02:59.100 like probably every service, I make some kind of mistake, 02:59.100 --> 03:03.520 so anyway, just wanted to mention that real quick, 03:03.520 --> 03:07.720 and so Solomon, you know, he pictures the anti-Christ, 03:07.720 --> 03:09.080 how does he picture the anti-Christ? 03:09.080 --> 03:13.660 Well, I had C.J. read 1 Kings chapter 10, 03:13.660 --> 03:16.920 look at verse 14, so it says, 03:17.040 --> 03:20.080 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year 03:20.080 --> 03:24.680 was 600 threescore and six talents of gold, 03:24.680 --> 03:27.180 so what does that remind you of? 03:27.180 --> 03:30.480 Well, let's turn over to Revelation chapter 13 verse 16, 03:30.480 --> 03:35.480 Revelation 13, 16, now God gave Solomon a heart of wisdom, 03:36.480 --> 03:40.380 and people came to seek to Solomon all over the world 03:40.380 --> 03:43.120 for the wisdom that God put in his heart, 03:43.120 --> 03:45.940 so just understand this, Solomon was saved, 03:45.940 --> 03:47.780 Solomon was a great man of God, 03:47.780 --> 03:50.880 Solomon did a lot of great things, 03:50.880 --> 03:54.700 and he was the wisest man that ever lived, 03:54.700 --> 03:57.460 except for, of course, the Lord Jesus Christ, 03:57.460 --> 04:00.140 and so he had a lot of good things going for him, 04:00.140 --> 04:03.940 but he also messed up later on in his life. 04:03.940 --> 04:06.200 Now, we're gonna kinda talk about all that, 04:06.200 --> 04:08.280 but I wanted to mention this first of all, 04:08.280 --> 04:12.000 that, you know, well, how does it kinda tie in? 04:12.000 --> 04:15.900 Well, 600 threescore and six talents. 04:16.740 --> 04:17.780 Now, look at Revelation 13, 16, it says, 04:17.780 --> 04:21.060 He causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, 04:21.060 --> 04:23.780 free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand 04:23.780 --> 04:27.580 or in their foreheads, and that no man might buy or sell, 04:27.580 --> 04:30.140 save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, 04:30.140 --> 04:31.660 or the number of his name. 04:31.660 --> 04:34.940 Here is wisdom, I think that's an interesting thing 04:34.940 --> 04:37.600 to say there, let him that hath understanding 04:37.600 --> 04:40.700 count the number of the beast, for it is the number 04:40.700 --> 04:44.940 of a man, and his number is six hundred threescore and six. 04:44.940 --> 04:47.260 So, you know, people will say, well, 04:47.260 --> 04:50.260 that's just a coincidence, there's nothing coincidental, 04:50.260 --> 04:52.940 incidental in the Bible, there's a reason why, 04:52.940 --> 04:55.260 there's a tie in between these two things. 04:55.260 --> 04:58.440 Now, obviously, I think it's funny that, you know, 04:58.440 --> 05:01.460 we're talking about a man that has all this wisdom from God, 05:01.460 --> 05:04.420 and then the Bible says for us, here's wisdom, 05:05.380 --> 05:07.580 here's wisdom, let him that hath understanding 05:07.580 --> 05:08.420 count the number of the beast. 05:08.420 --> 05:11.300 So, it says that, you know, it's the number of a man, 05:11.300 --> 05:14.580 but I do believe it's tied to maybe the fall 05:15.140 --> 05:18.780 of Solomon, and how he does picture the Antichrist, 05:18.780 --> 05:22.020 and a lot of people get confused about Solomon, 05:22.020 --> 05:26.500 because we believe that if someone believes in a false God, 05:26.500 --> 05:28.700 or serves a false God, that they have to turn 05:28.700 --> 05:30.980 from believing in that false God, and believe 05:30.980 --> 05:33.980 on the true God, which is God, the Father, 05:33.980 --> 05:36.160 the Lord Jesus Christ, right? 05:36.160 --> 05:40.700 So, when we see in the Bible, where a man who has 05:40.700 --> 05:42.980 all this great wisdom, God gave him all this wisdom, 05:42.980 --> 05:44.740 he was saved, there's no doubt about it, 05:44.740 --> 05:49.140 he says he's my son, God calls him his son, 05:49.140 --> 05:51.640 and then for him to completely turn, 05:51.640 --> 05:55.300 and start following other gods, and, you know, 05:55.300 --> 05:58.220 obviously his wives, his many wives led him to do that, 05:58.220 --> 06:00.200 and we'll get into that later on in the sermon, 06:00.200 --> 06:03.920 but it's hard for us to, it's hard for us 06:03.920 --> 06:05.420 to reconcile that, isn't it? 06:06.460 --> 06:08.980 But nevertheless, so, and we were talking about this 06:08.980 --> 06:11.700 before the, in between services, and Brother Bill 06:11.700 --> 06:13.300 made a pretty good point about this, 06:13.300 --> 06:16.260 that in the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit 06:16.260 --> 06:18.980 did not indwell the believer, it stayed upon the believer, 06:18.980 --> 06:22.020 and God could remove the Holy Spirit from a believer, 06:22.020 --> 06:23.580 from all, you know, because, you know, 06:23.580 --> 06:27.100 it came up, the Spirit of God would come upon people, 06:27.100 --> 06:29.140 and he would fill them with the Spirit, 06:29.140 --> 06:31.740 but it didn't always, it didn't stay indwell. 06:31.740 --> 06:33.620 That's the difference between the New Testament, 06:33.620 --> 06:35.220 one of the differences between the New Testament 06:35.220 --> 06:37.780 and the Old Testament is that the Spirit of God 06:37.780 --> 06:40.540 indwells the believer and does not leave. 06:40.540 --> 06:43.980 And David said, take not thine Holy Spirit from me 06:43.980 --> 06:46.140 after he sinned a great sin. 06:46.140 --> 06:48.740 So God could take the Holy Spirit away from people, 06:48.740 --> 06:51.980 I believe that the Spirit of God departed from Saul also, 06:52.840 --> 06:55.220 the king of Israel, the first king, 06:55.220 --> 06:56.340 and so I guess we're dealing 06:56.340 --> 06:58.680 with different types of situations, 06:58.680 --> 07:01.220 but even if the Holy Spirit could be taken away 07:01.220 --> 07:02.940 from someone in the Old Testament, 07:02.940 --> 07:05.860 it doesn't mean that that person wasn't saved, okay? 07:05.860 --> 07:08.680 So I don't want people to get confused about that, 07:08.680 --> 07:11.160 but maybe that's how he could, you know, 07:11.160 --> 07:13.720 dive that deeply into sin. 07:13.720 --> 07:15.360 You know, you can get pretty sinful, 07:15.360 --> 07:18.100 and the Bible says to flee idolatry. 07:18.100 --> 07:21.720 Paul says to the Corinthians, flee idolatry. 07:21.720 --> 07:22.960 And so that means that Christians 07:22.960 --> 07:25.200 can still get wrapped up into idolatry. 07:25.200 --> 07:28.380 Maybe you're not bowing down and worshiping Shiva, 07:28.380 --> 07:29.640 or you don't have a statue 07:29.640 --> 07:31.040 that you're bowing down to in your house, 07:31.040 --> 07:34.060 but you know what, you can bow down in other ways. 07:34.060 --> 07:35.920 You can be idolatrous in other ways, 07:35.920 --> 07:39.080 like, you know, idolizing sports, 07:39.080 --> 07:42.360 people, men in sports or women in sports. 07:42.360 --> 07:46.640 You could be idolatrous by the music that you listen to, 07:46.640 --> 07:49.440 and I mean, look at how they treat rock stars. 07:49.440 --> 07:54.440 I mean, when the Beatles came off that plane flight 07:54.840 --> 07:57.160 or whatever and Beatlemania hit here, 07:57.160 --> 07:59.960 I mean, people were literally, Elvis Presley. 07:59.960 --> 08:01.960 You know, I mean, just any rock star, 08:01.960 --> 08:03.820 people just worship them, don't they? 08:03.820 --> 08:05.680 So I mean, you could get to a point 08:06.440 --> 08:08.320 where you're worshiping in a different way. 08:08.320 --> 08:11.480 Maybe it's not full-blown bowing down 08:11.480 --> 08:12.980 to a statue idolatry, but I mean, 08:12.980 --> 08:15.400 it's pretty bad to worship anything, right? 08:15.400 --> 08:16.320 Besides the Lord. 08:17.640 --> 08:20.960 So it's possible for a Christian to get into idolatry, 08:20.960 --> 08:25.960 not, I mean, but obviously if you believe in another God 08:26.040 --> 08:28.440 and you're just adding Jesus to your list of gods, 08:28.440 --> 08:31.020 that's not salvation, okay? 08:31.020 --> 08:32.480 So I just want to explain that really quickly. 08:32.480 --> 08:35.600 So we have a connection between 1 Kings chapter 10, 08:36.480 --> 08:38.720 verse 14 and Revelation 13, 18. 08:38.720 --> 08:41.640 Now let's look at 2 Chronicles chapter 9, verse 13, 08:41.640 --> 08:43.460 2 Chronicles 9, 13. 08:49.040 --> 08:51.000 And so it just kind of mentions it again 08:51.000 --> 08:53.720 because some of the things are repeated in the Chronicles 08:53.720 --> 08:55.760 and in the books of the Kings. 08:55.760 --> 08:57.340 It says in 2 Chronicles 9, 13, 08:57.340 --> 09:00.020 now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year 09:00.020 --> 09:04.480 was 600, three score and six talents of gold. 09:04.480 --> 09:07.680 So it's mentioned twice in regards to Solomon. 09:07.680 --> 09:09.660 Why that number? 09:09.660 --> 09:13.760 Well, you know, there's no mistaking 09:13.760 --> 09:16.140 that it's tied there somehow, some way. 09:17.100 --> 09:22.100 But if you think about it, Solomon fell to, 09:22.420 --> 09:24.920 you know, there's a multiplicity of things 09:24.920 --> 09:27.520 that made Solomon fall in his heart. 09:27.520 --> 09:32.180 Now the Antichrist is looked up as some great man. 09:32.180 --> 09:33.640 And the Jews are gonna believe 09:33.680 --> 09:36.440 that he is the Messiah, right? 09:36.440 --> 09:38.360 So people are gonna lift this guy up. 09:38.360 --> 09:40.900 He's probably gonna be very smart, very, you know, 09:40.900 --> 09:43.700 unlike Solomon, he's gonna be a great warrior. 09:43.700 --> 09:46.480 But also, you know, the Antichrist conquers a lot of people 09:46.480 --> 09:48.960 through his policies, it actually says 09:48.960 --> 09:51.060 in the book of Daniel, his policies. 09:51.060 --> 09:54.560 And you see like, you see Solomon just making 09:54.560 --> 09:56.760 all these leagues with different kingdoms 09:56.760 --> 09:59.500 by doing what, marrying the princesses 09:59.500 --> 10:01.280 of those different nations. 10:01.280 --> 10:04.200 And that's how a lot of, you know, 10:04.200 --> 10:05.920 allies are made in different countries 10:05.920 --> 10:10.280 is that, you know, well, we'll just marry into the family 10:10.280 --> 10:12.280 and then there's not gonna be so much treachery 10:12.280 --> 10:14.100 and, you know, someone's probably not gonna be willing 10:14.100 --> 10:16.800 to go and just destroy some other country 10:16.800 --> 10:18.520 if they marry their daughter off 10:18.520 --> 10:20.060 to one of the lords or something, you know? 10:20.060 --> 10:23.880 So, but Solomon was the king of Israel 10:23.880 --> 10:28.480 and he had multitudes of wives and concubines 10:28.480 --> 10:29.840 and we'll get more into that later. 10:29.860 --> 10:33.640 But Solomon also broke some other scriptures. 10:33.640 --> 10:37.440 And so, remember God appeared to him twice 10:37.440 --> 10:40.560 before he appeared to him the last time. 10:40.560 --> 10:42.840 He appeared to him twice and I asked him, 10:42.840 --> 10:43.960 you know, he basically just said, 10:43.960 --> 10:46.400 whatever you want, I'll give it to you. 10:46.400 --> 10:49.000 And he asked for wisdom so he could judge the people, 10:49.000 --> 10:50.120 didn't he? 10:50.120 --> 10:52.780 And so God said, because you asked for wisdom, 10:52.780 --> 10:54.200 you didn't ask for a long life, 10:54.200 --> 10:56.320 you didn't ask for riches, I'm gonna grant you this, 10:56.320 --> 10:57.960 but I'm also gonna grant you the other things 10:57.960 --> 10:59.160 that you didn't ask for. 11:00.280 --> 11:02.920 So, but he said, there's some ifs in there. 11:02.920 --> 11:06.560 It wasn't just a carte blanche, no matter what you do, 11:06.560 --> 11:09.040 I'm gonna bless your life and bless your kingdom 11:09.040 --> 11:10.420 and bless you. 11:10.420 --> 11:13.980 There's always the if factor. 11:13.980 --> 11:15.440 You know, you talk about the it factor. 11:15.440 --> 11:18.960 Well, there's the if factor when it comes to God sometimes 11:18.960 --> 11:21.100 and it's if you do these things, 11:21.100 --> 11:22.440 if you keep my commandments, 11:22.440 --> 11:25.740 if you follow me with your heart and those things. 11:25.740 --> 11:28.080 So, now I'm gonna have you turn over 11:28.080 --> 11:29.800 to Deuteronomy chapter 17, 11:29.800 --> 11:32.040 because the Bible spells out how, 11:32.040 --> 11:34.120 like, even in Deuteronomy 17, 11:34.120 --> 11:36.740 there wasn't kings over Israel at this time. 11:37.600 --> 11:40.940 They didn't ask for a king until the time of Samuel, 11:40.940 --> 11:44.240 and basically, you know, we call this 11:44.240 --> 11:45.300 the kingdom of what? 11:45.300 --> 11:46.680 God, right? 11:46.680 --> 11:47.960 That we're part, you know, 11:47.960 --> 11:49.720 the kingdom of God has come to us, 11:49.720 --> 11:51.700 the kingdom of God is in us, 11:51.700 --> 11:53.760 but ultimately, the ultimate fulfillment 11:53.760 --> 11:54.920 of the kingdom of God is gonna be 11:54.920 --> 11:58.120 when Jesus Christ comes and reigns for a thousand years, 11:58.120 --> 11:59.760 we rule and reign with him. 12:00.680 --> 12:03.880 But, you know, there's rules for kings. 12:03.880 --> 12:06.840 God said, if you do ask, if they do ask for a king, 12:06.840 --> 12:09.080 here's the stipulations, here's what they have to do, 12:09.080 --> 12:10.920 and I'm not gonna read you all of them, 12:10.920 --> 12:12.180 but, you know, one thing they were supposed to do 12:12.180 --> 12:14.760 is copy out their own copy of the Bible. 12:15.680 --> 12:17.680 They're supposed to copy out their own copy of the Bible 12:17.680 --> 12:20.880 and read therein all the days of their life. 12:22.300 --> 12:23.720 But you notice that Solomon 12:23.720 --> 12:24.960 just started getting interested 12:24.960 --> 12:26.720 in all these different things. 12:26.720 --> 12:28.960 You know, he starts out really great, 12:28.960 --> 12:30.200 you know, he has that, you know, 12:30.200 --> 12:33.380 that incredible judgment where he has the two harlots 12:33.380 --> 12:35.560 that come to him and one's baby died 12:35.560 --> 12:37.560 and the other one was still alive, 12:37.560 --> 12:39.520 and he discerned through saying, 12:39.520 --> 12:40.740 well, let's just split them in half 12:40.740 --> 12:43.640 and then you get one half and she gets the other, 12:43.640 --> 12:46.240 and he realized which one the right mother was, 12:46.240 --> 12:48.920 because he had just all this wisdom. 12:48.920 --> 12:51.960 So, and he, you know, he reigned well, 12:51.960 --> 12:55.960 but he forgot, he probably forgot to read the Bible 12:55.960 --> 12:58.600 all the days of his life, I'm just guessing that he did, 12:58.600 --> 13:00.880 well, number one, because he turned away from God 13:00.880 --> 13:04.040 in his later life, but also, I mean, 13:04.040 --> 13:06.360 there's some clear stuff in Deuteronomy 13:06.360 --> 13:08.260 that you just can't escape as a king. 13:09.400 --> 13:13.260 So look at verse 16, it says in Deuteronomy 17, 16, 13:13.260 --> 13:16.840 but he shall not multiply horses to himself. 13:16.840 --> 13:20.100 You all just listened to the whole chapter, 13:20.100 --> 13:22.140 did he multiply horses to himself? 13:22.140 --> 13:23.720 Yes, he did. 13:23.720 --> 13:26.260 Nor cause the people to return to Egypt 13:26.260 --> 13:30.540 to the end that he should multiply horses. 13:30.540 --> 13:33.820 So, multiplying horses was something 13:33.820 --> 13:35.500 that the king was not supposed to do. 13:35.500 --> 13:38.140 It says, for as much as the Lord hath said unto you, 13:38.140 --> 13:41.340 ye shall henceforth return no more that way. 13:41.340 --> 13:46.180 Verse 17, neither shall he multiply wives to himself. 13:46.180 --> 13:50.020 Oops, Solomon had a real problem with that, didn't he? 13:50.860 --> 13:52.300 There wasn't a wife that he didn't want. 13:52.300 --> 13:56.000 He loved many strange women, the Bible says. 13:56.000 --> 13:59.820 It says, neither shall he multiply wives to himself 13:59.820 --> 14:02.780 that his heart turn not away. 14:02.780 --> 14:04.820 It's almost like that verse was just written 14:04.820 --> 14:06.980 specifically for this man. 14:08.780 --> 14:12.960 Because a good king is gonna do good and do well, 14:12.960 --> 14:17.360 but he just, I mean, if he never read the Bible, 14:17.360 --> 14:18.940 then of course maybe he never read this, 14:18.940 --> 14:21.140 but I have a hard time believing 14:21.140 --> 14:23.340 that he never read this passage in the Bible. 14:24.660 --> 14:27.260 It says, neither shall he greatly multiply 14:27.260 --> 14:29.740 to himself silver and gold. 14:29.740 --> 14:31.440 Didn't it say in the chapter that we just read 14:31.440 --> 14:33.580 that silver was like stone, 14:33.580 --> 14:37.240 it was like a common stone in Israel, 14:37.240 --> 14:40.160 and gold was an abundance in Israel. 14:40.160 --> 14:42.680 So, you know, God allowed him to be rich, 14:42.680 --> 14:44.860 but do you think that it's possible 14:44.860 --> 14:47.580 that he kind of went overboard with this? 14:48.460 --> 14:50.900 I mean, he was so rich and so, you know, 14:50.900 --> 14:52.440 people just came to him. 14:52.440 --> 14:55.580 He was just, he just wanted to learn about everything. 14:55.580 --> 14:57.980 And so when he wanted to learn about everything, 14:57.980 --> 15:00.100 and you know, Solomon would give these talks 15:00.100 --> 15:01.660 about different kinds of animals, 15:01.660 --> 15:03.980 he was very smart, he was very wise, 15:03.980 --> 15:06.060 he was very knowledgeable about things, 15:06.060 --> 15:08.000 but maybe he started studying other things 15:08.000 --> 15:08.940 that he shouldn't have been studying 15:08.940 --> 15:11.740 when he should have been studying Deuteronomy chapter 17. 15:12.760 --> 15:14.980 And maybe he wouldn't have turned away 15:14.980 --> 15:16.820 from the Lord like he did. 15:16.820 --> 15:19.980 So he was not supposed to multiply horses, 15:19.980 --> 15:22.380 he was not supposed to multiply wives, 15:22.380 --> 15:25.860 and he was not supposed to greatly increase silver 15:25.860 --> 15:27.820 and gold for himself. 15:27.820 --> 15:29.760 That's strike three, he's out. 15:29.760 --> 15:33.100 So he, and what did it say there, 15:33.100 --> 15:34.840 sandwiched in the middle of verse 17? 15:34.840 --> 15:39.020 It says that his heart turn not a long time to write a mistake-free copy. 16:02.000 --> 16:03.800 I mean, obviously, he didn't have 16:03.800 --> 16:05.720 a lot of the other scriptures. 16:05.720 --> 16:07.720 You know, he was still kind of early on. 16:07.720 --> 16:09.540 It wouldn't have been as hard for him to do. 16:09.540 --> 16:11.760 But for us to have to do that would be very difficult. 16:11.760 --> 16:15.640 But, 16:58.520 --> 17:00.960 that any of them write out copies of the Bible. 17:00.960 --> 17:02.960 I doubt very seriously any of them 17:02.960 --> 17:05.080 are reading the Bible every single day. 17:05.080 --> 17:06.160 I doubt very seriously 17:06.160 --> 17:07.960 that they're not taking heed to these. 17:07.960 --> 17:09.520 Obviously, multiplicity of lives 17:09.520 --> 17:11.420 is kind of just like a thing 17:11.420 --> 17:12.880 that just doesn't really happen much 17:12.880 --> 17:14.140 in the Western world anymore. 17:14.140 --> 17:17.380 But the problem with Solomon 17:17.380 --> 17:19.240 is that he did not take heed 17:19.240 --> 17:21.180 to the things that God told him to do. 17:21.180 --> 17:23.180 And look, how could you, 17:23.180 --> 17:25.700 here's what's really mind-boggling to me, 17:25.700 --> 17:30.700 is that God appeared to Solomon twice before he fell, right? 17:30.760 --> 17:33.000 God appeared to him twice, 17:33.000 --> 17:36.920 and he literally communed with God. 17:36.920 --> 17:38.900 Obviously, he didn't see the Father, 17:38.900 --> 17:41.580 because you can't see the Father's face and lip, 17:41.580 --> 17:44.220 but he appeared to Solomon twice. 17:44.220 --> 17:47.020 However you take that to mean, he appeared to him 17:47.020 --> 17:48.240 in some way, shape, or form, 17:48.240 --> 17:51.260 probably as the Lord Jesus Christ 17:51.260 --> 17:56.080 before he was born in the land of Bethlehem or whatever. 17:56.080 --> 17:59.220 But God warned Solomon, 18:00.300 --> 18:02.540 and for him to go and believe in other gods 18:02.540 --> 18:05.460 after the real, true God met with him, 18:05.460 --> 18:07.300 that's just mind-boggling to me. 18:07.300 --> 18:09.380 And so a lot of things about Solomon 18:09.380 --> 18:12.100 are mind-boggling to a lot of people, 18:12.100 --> 18:15.380 but that's why, you know, 18:15.380 --> 18:17.180 that's why people will say, 18:17.180 --> 18:18.700 people that believe you can lose your salvation 18:18.700 --> 18:21.660 will point to Solomon and say he lost his salvation, 18:21.660 --> 18:23.540 which of course I do not believe. 18:24.660 --> 18:27.980 So turn to 1 Chronicles 28, verse 9. 18:28.980 --> 18:31.740 This is where God warned Solomon. 18:40.380 --> 18:43.580 So 1 Chronicles 28, verse 9 says, 18:43.580 --> 18:48.580 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, 18:49.780 --> 18:54.420 and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind. 18:54.420 --> 18:57.060 For the Lord searcheth all hearts, 18:57.060 --> 19:00.740 and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts. 19:00.740 --> 19:03.740 If thou seek him, he will be found of thee, 19:03.740 --> 19:08.740 but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off forever. 19:08.940 --> 19:12.140 And, you know, so like, I guess if someone is saying, 19:12.140 --> 19:13.620 well, he'll cast thee off forever, 19:13.620 --> 19:16.260 obviously he's casted him off from being king. 19:17.580 --> 19:20.100 And, you know, basically he ruined everything. 19:20.100 --> 19:23.580 David kind of set him up with everything he needed. 19:23.580 --> 19:26.500 David was a bloody man, he was a man of war, 19:26.500 --> 19:30.180 and so God did not allow him to build the sanctuary, 19:30.180 --> 19:32.340 but he allowed Solomon to do it. 19:32.340 --> 19:33.260 I look at verse 10, it says, 19:33.260 --> 19:36.700 Take heed now, for the Lord hath chosen thee 19:36.700 --> 19:40.220 to build in house for the sanctuary. 19:40.220 --> 19:42.580 Be strong and do it. 19:42.580 --> 19:46.620 Obviously in the end times, you know, in the future, 19:46.620 --> 19:49.620 there's gonna be some kind of treaty of some sort, 19:49.620 --> 19:52.660 or some way this temple is gonna get built. 19:53.540 --> 19:57.200 Now, we obviously know that it's not gonna be 19:57.200 --> 19:59.540 a legit temple in the way that we don't have to, 19:59.540 --> 20:02.140 we don't need a temple like that anymore. 20:02.140 --> 20:03.500 So, but it's gonna be called 20:03.500 --> 20:05.180 the temple of the Lord, isn't it? 20:06.180 --> 20:07.900 Which I find interesting. 20:07.900 --> 20:11.920 And, you know, who's the one that builds it? 20:11.920 --> 20:16.240 Not the, I mean, obviously I think that the Antichrist 20:16.240 --> 20:18.500 has something to do with it being built. 20:18.500 --> 20:22.340 I mean, that's just my feeling about it, that's my opinion. 20:22.340 --> 20:25.260 But I can't say for sure that he builds it, 20:25.260 --> 20:28.180 but I know that Solomon built the sanctuary, 20:28.180 --> 20:30.740 and Solomon's house got destroyed, didn't it? 20:30.740 --> 20:34.700 But he did it, and he was good when it happened. 20:35.140 --> 20:36.660 So I mean, I don't wanna dwell too long there, 20:36.660 --> 20:39.500 but I just find it interesting that God says, 20:39.500 --> 20:43.800 if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off forever. 20:43.800 --> 20:47.260 And Solomon did forsake him, so I guess I would say this, 20:47.260 --> 20:49.940 that how he pictures him when it comes to this verse, 20:49.940 --> 20:52.540 well, you know, the Antichrist is called 20:52.540 --> 20:54.580 the son of perdition, you know? 20:54.580 --> 20:57.140 Judas is called the son of perdition. 20:57.140 --> 20:59.620 The Bible says in the end times that the Antichrist 20:59.620 --> 21:01.820 will go into perdition. 21:01.820 --> 21:04.340 And so basically, you know, he's gonna be a reprobate. 21:04.940 --> 21:07.340 I'm not saying that that's what it's talking about here, 21:07.340 --> 21:10.240 I'm saying it's a picture of what it could be. 21:10.240 --> 21:14.100 So because what Solomon, Solomon starts out good, 21:14.100 --> 21:16.380 but then he ends up really bad, doesn't he? 21:17.420 --> 21:20.740 So turn to 1 Kings chapter 11, 21:20.740 --> 21:24.980 1 Kings chapter number 11, and we'll see the fall of Solomon. 21:24.980 --> 21:27.420 See, he's already done all these great things, 21:27.420 --> 21:31.420 he's, you know, built a temple, he built a house, 21:31.420 --> 21:33.500 he's getting all this stuff, 21:33.500 --> 21:37.180 he's getting all these gold and jewels and silver 21:37.180 --> 21:38.940 and all these other things, 21:38.940 --> 21:43.940 but he's also broken Deuteronomy chapter 17, verse 16 and 17 21:44.300 --> 21:48.140 to where he's multiplying wives, multiplying horses, 21:48.140 --> 21:50.380 multiplying gold and silver, 21:50.380 --> 21:54.260 and the fact that he loves all these strange women, 21:54.260 --> 21:57.860 look at verse number 11, it shows us, you know, 21:57.860 --> 21:59.660 the downfall of Solomon here. 21:59.660 --> 22:02.740 But King Solomon loved many strange women, 22:02.740 --> 22:05.840 together with the daughter of Pharaoh, 22:05.840 --> 22:08.420 women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, 22:08.420 --> 22:10.060 Zidonians, and Hittites. 22:11.600 --> 22:13.820 Of the nations concerning which the Lord said 22:13.820 --> 22:16.860 unto the children of Israel, you should not go into them, 22:16.860 --> 22:19.660 neither shall they come in unto you, 22:19.660 --> 22:22.460 for surely they will turn away your heart 22:22.460 --> 22:24.980 after their gods. 22:24.980 --> 22:27.860 Solomon, clave unto these in love. 22:27.860 --> 22:31.220 So he, you know, for a man who has all this wisdom, 22:31.220 --> 22:35.460 all this knowledge, you know, just knows, 22:35.460 --> 22:38.100 he's the smartest man in the world, 22:38.100 --> 22:39.820 he's pretty stupid here, isn't he? 22:39.820 --> 22:40.880 Yes. 22:40.880 --> 22:45.060 So he doesn't apply that wisdom in these areas 22:45.060 --> 22:46.220 and it makes him fail. 22:46.220 --> 22:49.140 See, you could be as smart as anybody else, 22:49.140 --> 22:53.860 but if you'd fail to apply God's principles in your lives 22:53.860 --> 22:55.520 and God's commandments in your lives, 22:55.520 --> 22:59.140 you could fall just as much as he could. 22:59.140 --> 23:01.700 But doesn't it seem weird that he's the wisest man 23:01.700 --> 23:05.460 in the world, the wisest man of all time, 23:05.460 --> 23:07.420 and then he falls like this? 23:07.420 --> 23:11.800 I mean, it's a hard lesson for us that anybody can fall. 23:11.800 --> 23:13.900 If we get our eyes off of the things of the Lord, 23:13.900 --> 23:15.580 if we get our eyes off this book, 23:15.580 --> 23:18.020 if we got our eyes off the prize, 23:18.020 --> 23:23.020 then we can end up bad and kick to the curb 23:23.060 --> 23:24.040 just like Solomon. 23:25.260 --> 23:28.140 So kick to the curb is like a ghetto reference of, 23:28.700 --> 23:30.820 anyway, if you know, you know. 23:30.820 --> 23:34.140 But I'm a little ghetto, sorry about that. 23:34.140 --> 23:35.900 But it says in verse three, 23:35.900 --> 23:38.220 and he had 700 wives, 23:40.720 --> 23:44.380 princesses, and 300 concubines, 23:44.380 --> 23:47.540 and his wives turned away his heart. 23:47.540 --> 23:48.860 And I've mentioned this before, 23:48.860 --> 23:50.100 and I'll just say it again, 23:50.100 --> 23:54.340 that a lot of people will excuse Solomon in this area 23:54.340 --> 23:56.300 and say, well, he was just doing it 23:56.300 --> 23:59.140 to make his wives feel better about things. 23:59.140 --> 24:00.940 Is that what it says? 24:00.940 --> 24:03.940 No, it says his heart was turned away, doesn't it? 24:03.940 --> 24:07.860 It says his wives turned away his heart. 24:07.860 --> 24:12.860 And up further, it says that he would go after other gods, 24:13.620 --> 24:16.100 these wives would make him go after other gods. 24:16.100 --> 24:17.740 It says for verse four, 24:17.740 --> 24:20.500 for it came to pass when Solomon was old 24:20.500 --> 24:24.260 that his wives turned away his heart after other gods. 24:24.260 --> 24:26.020 Boom, it says it right there. 24:26.620 --> 24:28.380 They turned away his heart after other gods. 24:28.380 --> 24:30.740 Doesn't say that he just appeased them. 24:30.740 --> 24:34.040 No, they turned his heart to these other gods, 24:34.040 --> 24:36.200 gods that didn't appear to him. 24:36.200 --> 24:39.680 Gods that, the Bible says to stay away from these women 24:39.680 --> 24:40.940 and stay away from them, why? 24:40.940 --> 24:44.020 Because they're gonna turn your hearts to their gods. 24:44.020 --> 24:47.060 And his heart was not perfect with the Lord as God, 24:47.060 --> 24:49.780 as was the heart of David his father. 24:51.180 --> 24:53.580 For Solomon went after Ashtaroth, 24:53.580 --> 24:55.660 the goddess of the Zidonians, 24:56.180 --> 25:00.460 and after Milkim, the abomination of the Ammonites. 25:00.460 --> 25:02.880 And Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord 25:02.880 --> 25:06.880 and went not fully after the Lord as did David his father. 25:08.420 --> 25:11.740 So when that term gets used in the Bible, 25:11.740 --> 25:13.780 Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord, 25:13.780 --> 25:15.020 that's a term that you'll see 25:15.020 --> 25:18.460 for the wicked kings of Israel or Judah, 25:18.460 --> 25:21.060 that if they did evil in the sight of the Lord, 25:21.060 --> 25:22.660 you know, and I'm not saying 100% 25:22.660 --> 25:23.900 they weren't saved every time, 25:23.900 --> 25:26.220 because I believe that it talks about Manasseh 25:26.220 --> 25:27.900 doing evil in the sight of the Lord, 25:27.900 --> 25:29.920 but then he ends up getting saved. 25:29.920 --> 25:33.360 So I think it's possible for someone to be, 25:33.360 --> 25:35.300 it's said about them that they did evil 25:35.300 --> 25:37.960 in the sight of the Lord and that they're still saved, okay? 25:37.960 --> 25:42.300 But a lot of times in the cases of the kings of Israel 25:42.300 --> 25:46.100 and some of the kings of Judah, they were unsaved. 25:46.100 --> 25:48.700 It says, and went not fully after the Lord 25:48.700 --> 25:51.760 as did David his father. 25:51.760 --> 25:54.200 So hold your place here in 1 Kings chapter 11, 25:54.200 --> 25:55.520 and I'm gonna just have you turn over 25:55.520 --> 25:57.680 to 1 Samuel chapter 15 verse 19. 25:57.680 --> 25:59.600 I'll just give you an example. 25:59.600 --> 26:02.360 And basically, so this has been taking place 26:03.400 --> 26:07.900 in, you know, since the kings were instituted. 26:07.900 --> 26:10.040 God warned them not to institute kings, 26:10.040 --> 26:12.480 the system of the judges was the system 26:12.480 --> 26:15.120 that they were supposed to go by for their government, 26:15.120 --> 26:17.320 and God was to be their king. 26:17.320 --> 26:19.360 They weren't supposed to have human kings, 26:19.360 --> 26:22.040 but they said, make us a king 26:22.040 --> 26:23.860 like all the other nations have. 26:23.860 --> 26:25.320 So the children of Israel at one point 26:25.320 --> 26:27.160 just rejected God as their king 26:27.160 --> 26:28.720 and said that they wanted a human king 26:28.720 --> 26:31.040 just like all the other people did. 26:31.040 --> 26:32.960 So I mean, people will say, well, 26:32.960 --> 26:35.640 I mean, I preached a sermon about King James 26:35.640 --> 26:38.700 being a good king, but I mean, look at the pattern of kings. 26:38.700 --> 26:41.920 Like how many can you actually say were actually good kings 26:41.920 --> 26:44.040 that have lived on the face of the earth? 26:44.040 --> 26:45.920 And what do you see in the Bible? 26:45.920 --> 26:48.840 The ones, most of the time, they end up bad, don't they? 26:49.840 --> 26:53.120 So I mean, that's what you would see in society probably, 26:53.120 --> 26:54.800 too, that every once in a while there's probably 26:54.800 --> 26:56.840 a good king, but most of them are not good. 26:56.840 --> 26:59.600 Now look at 1 Samuel chapter 15 verse 19. 27:00.640 --> 27:02.960 Saul is being chastised by Samuel 27:04.000 --> 27:05.800 for disobeying the Lord. 27:05.800 --> 27:09.200 It says, wherefore didst thou not obey the voice of the Lord 27:09.200 --> 27:11.920 but didst fly upon the spoil 27:11.920 --> 27:14.200 and didst evil in the sight of the Lord? 27:14.200 --> 27:17.160 So even the first king of Israel is talked about 27:17.200 --> 27:20.040 as doing evil in the sight of the Lord. 27:20.040 --> 27:21.920 Now, of course, David was the next one 27:21.920 --> 27:23.680 and he did evil a couple of times, 27:23.680 --> 27:26.240 but he wasn't considered one that, you know, 27:26.240 --> 27:28.140 he fully followed after God, 27:28.140 --> 27:30.920 even though he made some major mistakes. 27:30.920 --> 27:32.480 So it's something about the heart, 27:32.480 --> 27:36.000 it's something about where their heart was in the end 27:36.000 --> 27:37.680 that really kind of makes the difference 27:37.680 --> 27:40.720 because David did some pretty bad stuff, didn't he? 27:40.720 --> 27:44.640 But he was still considered a man after God's own heart. 27:44.640 --> 27:47.840 So Saul also did evil in the sight of the Lord 27:47.840 --> 27:50.200 and he also sacrificed and did, 27:50.200 --> 27:52.040 he put himself in the place of the priest 27:52.040 --> 27:54.120 and he was not supposed to do that. 27:54.120 --> 27:56.880 So that's something that the Antichrist, you know, 27:56.880 --> 27:59.060 or at least the false prophet will do. 27:59.060 --> 28:02.880 The false prophet is, you know, he's trying to, you know, 28:02.880 --> 28:05.400 he makes the abomination of desolation. 28:05.400 --> 28:07.280 He sets up that image. 28:07.280 --> 28:09.740 And, you know, you see some of the kings of Israel doing, 28:09.740 --> 28:14.240 making these mistakes, what is it, Uzziah? 28:15.060 --> 28:16.600 He goes in and tries to burn incense 28:16.600 --> 28:18.120 and the priests stop him. 28:18.120 --> 28:23.120 So, I mean, there's instances where kings just overdo 28:23.200 --> 28:24.900 what they're supposed to do. 28:24.900 --> 28:27.920 They delve into places they're not supposed to. 28:27.920 --> 28:31.920 So like in England, kings are the defender of the faith. 28:31.920 --> 28:33.560 So they're heads over the church 28:33.560 --> 28:35.720 and I don't think that that's biblical. 28:35.720 --> 28:36.860 I just don't. 28:36.860 --> 28:38.640 Now, should they defend the church? 28:38.640 --> 28:40.200 Obviously, yes. 28:40.200 --> 28:45.200 But to usurp the authority of, you know, 28:45.480 --> 28:47.880 there should be a difference between the government 28:47.880 --> 28:50.820 and, you know, the religion. 28:50.820 --> 28:54.600 So, and obviously that's true because God didn't allow, 28:54.600 --> 28:57.220 God was angry and made Saul stop being the king 28:57.220 --> 29:01.040 because he sacrificed when he wasn't supposed to. 29:01.040 --> 29:03.320 And God's the one that sets up kings 29:03.320 --> 29:06.680 and God's the one that also gets rid of them. 29:06.680 --> 29:09.360 So, and he also, you know, 29:09.360 --> 29:12.320 the final thing he did is went to a witch, you know? 29:12.320 --> 29:13.920 Because, you know, in this chapter, 29:13.920 --> 29:16.400 in the chapter we were just at in 1 Samuel, 29:16.400 --> 29:20.000 you know, he says that rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft 29:20.000 --> 29:21.800 and isn't it strange that, you know, 29:21.800 --> 29:25.360 he says those words to him in regards to witchcraft 29:25.360 --> 29:28.560 and then he ends up going to a witch to get his answers. 29:29.400 --> 29:32.680 So his rebellion led him to witchcraft 29:32.680 --> 29:35.840 and he actually went to a witch. 29:35.840 --> 29:38.240 And a witch is a practitioner of black magic. 29:38.240 --> 29:39.680 So it's not like, you know, 29:39.680 --> 29:42.680 she was the good witch of the west or whatever. 29:42.680 --> 29:43.960 Was it the wicked witch of the west? 29:43.960 --> 29:46.720 I don't know, but the good witch of the north, 29:46.720 --> 29:47.800 I can't remember which one it was, 29:47.800 --> 29:51.200 but there's no such thing as a good witch, all right? 29:51.200 --> 29:52.600 They're all wicked. 29:52.600 --> 29:53.800 They can say they're a good witch, 29:53.800 --> 29:55.280 but the only good witch is a dead witch, 29:55.280 --> 29:56.100 according to the Bible. 29:56.100 --> 30:01.100 So anyway, 1 Kings 11 verse seven, back in our text here, 30:01.780 --> 30:06.780 it says, then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, 30:08.580 --> 30:13.040 the abomination of Moab in the hill that is before Jerusalem 30:13.040 --> 30:18.040 and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon. 30:18.140 --> 30:21.100 The two wicked, wicked gods. 30:21.100 --> 30:24.780 And the Bible says that later on, 30:24.780 --> 30:28.100 that those places that he made in the high places, 30:28.100 --> 30:30.180 they're mentioned throughout the rest of the kings, 30:30.180 --> 30:31.020 aren't they? 30:31.900 --> 30:34.180 But they didn't take away the high places. 30:34.180 --> 30:36.820 And then finally, I think, I want to say, 30:36.820 --> 30:38.620 it was Josiah or Hezekiah, 30:38.620 --> 30:39.740 I can't remember which one it was, 30:39.740 --> 30:41.300 but one of those good kings, 30:41.300 --> 30:43.020 finally took those things down up. 30:43.020 --> 30:45.620 They were up for hundreds of years. 30:45.620 --> 30:49.140 So what Solomon did wasn't just some small thing. 30:49.140 --> 30:51.380 He did evil on the side of the Lord. 30:51.380 --> 30:56.380 And so he was the downfall of all the different tribes 30:57.380 --> 30:59.960 being bound together as one. 30:59.960 --> 31:02.440 So look at verse eight, it says, 31:02.440 --> 31:07.040 and likewise did he for all his strange wives. 31:07.040 --> 31:08.720 So he had how many wives? 31:08.720 --> 31:12.000 700 wives, 300 concubines. 31:12.000 --> 31:14.240 So he did this for all his strange wives, 31:14.240 --> 31:17.680 which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods. 31:17.680 --> 31:20.020 So he made all these different idols, 31:20.020 --> 31:21.440 all these different shrines, 31:21.440 --> 31:24.600 all these different places for them to offer incense 31:24.600 --> 31:27.480 to their abomination, these devils. 31:27.480 --> 31:30.680 I mean, obviously Solomon, 31:30.680 --> 31:32.320 you know, the Bible says that these aren't gods, 31:32.320 --> 31:33.360 they're devils. 31:33.360 --> 31:36.640 So Solomon's literally making shrines, 31:36.640 --> 31:38.120 making high places, 31:38.120 --> 31:41.720 making the ability for people to worship devils. 31:41.720 --> 31:44.580 He did evil on the side of the Lord, didn't he? 31:44.580 when you think of tough, or a great warrior, 41:14.420 --> 41:18.300 you don't think of Solomon, do you, you think that he's this guy of peace. 41:18.300 --> 41:22.820 Anyway, turn to Ezekiel chapter 28, verse 2, Ezekiel chapter 28, verse 2. 41:28.620 --> 41:35.460 Ezekiel 28, verse 2, and 41:35.460 --> 41:41.100 you have these really interesting chapters in Ezekiel, where, and 41:41.100 --> 41:45.820 this is a common theme in the Bible, where people will picture the Antichrist, but 41:45.820 --> 41:50.180 they'll also picture Satan, and they're also just wicked themselves, or whatever. 41:50.180 --> 41:57.020 But you got this king of Tyre in chapter 28, verse 2, look what it says. 41:57.060 --> 42:00.220 Son of man, saying to the prince of Tyrus, 42:00.220 --> 42:05.140 thus saith the Lord God, because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, 42:05.140 --> 42:11.140 I am a god, I sit in the seat of God in the midst of the seas, yet thou art a man, 42:11.140 --> 42:15.340 and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God. 42:15.340 --> 42:18.820 So you have this guy, and what does the Antichrist do? 42:18.820 --> 42:20.380 He basically does the same thing. 42:20.380 --> 42:23.260 He sits and he thinks that he's God, and he says that he's God. 42:24.260 --> 42:28.500 But when it's talking about the prince, so when it's talking about the prince, 42:28.500 --> 42:32.260 you know, obviously that means king also. 42:32.260 --> 42:37.140 But then it like bounces around and talks about the king of Tyrus. 42:37.140 --> 42:41.580 And at that point, it's talking about, it's personifying Satan. 42:41.580 --> 42:45.540 So, but I would say that this man, this prince of Tyrus, 42:45.540 --> 42:50.940 represents, he represents the Antichrist. 42:50.940 --> 42:53.500 But notice these verses in verse three, okay? 42:53.500 --> 42:57.540 Verse three and four says, behold, thou art wiser than Daniel. 42:58.940 --> 43:01.020 There is no secret that they can hide from thee. 43:01.020 --> 43:04.380 And this is talking about the prince of Tyrus, which I think is talking about 43:04.380 --> 43:08.100 the Antichrist, it's a picture of the Antichrist also. 43:08.100 --> 43:10.180 But thou art wiser than Daniel. 43:10.180 --> 43:12.380 So the Antichrist is gonna be very wise. 43:13.560 --> 43:15.900 There is no secret they can hide from thee. 43:15.900 --> 43:19.500 But notice it doesn't say thou art, thou art wiser than Solomon, does it? 43:21.100 --> 43:24.180 Because he's not wiser than Solomon, but because Solomon, I mean, 43:24.180 --> 43:27.260 then that would say that Solomon wasn't the smartest man that ever lived, but 43:27.260 --> 43:31.580 he was, but I'm just saying that the, that the Antichrist is gonna be very wise. 43:31.580 --> 43:34.900 What's a, what's, what's the main quality that we know about Solomon that he was 43:34.900 --> 43:36.540 very wise, right? 43:36.540 --> 43:41.460 And so then this Antichrist, the, the Antichrist is gonna be wise also, but 43:41.460 --> 43:43.460 it says wiser than Daniel. 43:43.460 --> 43:49.700 So apparently he's a very smart person, very knowledgeable. 43:49.700 --> 43:53.140 Cuz with thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou has gotten the riches, 43:53.140 --> 43:57.420 and has gotten gold and silver into thy treasures. 43:57.420 --> 44:02.820 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffic hast thou increased thy riches, and 44:02.820 --> 44:07.060 thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches. 44:07.060 --> 44:09.220 Therefore, thus saith the Lord God, to Ezekiel Chapter 27. 47:00.420 --> 47:04.540 I think it's really interesting there's a connection with how much riches he got. 47:04.540 --> 47:08.700 Because the Antichrist obviously is going to be very rich too, and 47:08.700 --> 47:11.500 he gets that through Babylon, right? 47:12.540 --> 47:17.860 So there's a lot of symbolism back and forth with Babylon, and I've kind of laid 47:17.860 --> 47:21.700 it out that I personally believe that the Antichrist will come from Babylon, 47:21.700 --> 47:25.900 the end times Babylon, and then he'll end up being the king of the whole world. 47:25.900 --> 47:31.100 So Ezekiel, let's see, Ezekiel Chapter 27, verse 1. 47:31.220 --> 47:37.500 And these are just like, you know, kind of tying it together a little bit here. 47:37.500 --> 47:41.540 Ezekiel 27, verse 1, because he does picture the Antichrist also. 47:41.540 --> 47:45.020 But, look what it says, the word of the Lord came unto me saying, 47:45.020 --> 47:49.020 now thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus. 47:49.020 --> 47:53.340 And saying to Tyrus, O thou art a situate in the entry of the sea, 47:53.340 --> 47:57.380 which art a merchant of the people for many isles. 47:57.380 --> 47:59.820 Thus saith the Lord God, O Tyrus, thou hast said, 47:59.860 --> 48:01.860 I am of perfect beauty. 48:01.860 --> 48:03.940 Thy borders are in the midst of the seas. 48:03.940 --> 48:06.940 Thy builders have perfected thy beauty. 48:06.940 --> 48:12.180 They have made all thy ship boards of fir trees, of sinner, 48:12.180 --> 48:17.420 and have taken cedars from Lebanon to make mass for thee of the oaks of Bashan. 48:17.420 --> 48:20.460 They have made thine oars in the company of the Ashurites. 48:20.460 --> 48:26.020 They have made benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim, 48:26.060 --> 48:31.940 fine linen and embroidered work from Egypt, which was spread forth to be thy sail, 48:31.940 --> 48:37.460 blue and purple from the isles of Elisha, was that which covered thee. 48:37.460 --> 48:42.060 So basically, I mean, he's just talking about how the splendor of what 48:42.060 --> 48:46.380 this man has, who actually is an evil person. 48:46.380 --> 48:50.820 Now obviously, the splendor that Solomon had didn't turn, 48:50.820 --> 48:53.780 you know, it eventually corrupted him. 48:53.940 --> 48:59.740 And obviously, the final coup de grace was these women that corrupted him and 48:59.740 --> 49:01.060 caused him to do that. 49:01.060 --> 49:05.460 Now the Antichrist himself, it says basically that he's not gonna desire 49:05.460 --> 49:09.780 women, he's not gonna need the desire of women, and 49:09.780 --> 49:16.820 he's going to lift himself up above even all gods or any god. 49:16.820 --> 49:19.420 And he's not gonna have that 49:56.660 --> 49:59.980 the souls of men and just all this different stuff is taken away. 49:59.980 --> 50:04.700 They were made, the merchants of the earth were made rich by, 50:04.700 --> 50:08.340 you know, them being part of this system or whatever. 50:08.340 --> 50:11.180 And don't you think that Solomon made a lot of people rich? 50:12.240 --> 50:16.860 But in the end, like, when his son had a chance to 50:17.260 --> 50:21.060 kinda keep the kingdom, you know, he's like, I'm gonna make my, 50:21.060 --> 50:24.740 my little finger thicker than the loins of Solomon or whatever. 50:24.740 I'm just saying that like all these different things, 53:31.940 --> 53:34.380 all these different luxuries are talked about. 53:34.380 --> 53:40.180 And it goes on and on talking about how he wouldn't even drink out of a silver cup. 53:41.180 --> 53:44.180 That's just how much splendor he lived in. 53:45.380 --> 53:48.740 That stones were on the ground and they were silver. 53:50.380 --> 53:53.060 I mean, imagine living in a place that rich, but 53:53.060 --> 53:57.420 that's kind of how it pictures Babylon that way. 53:57.420 --> 54:03.820 That basically the kings of the earth are made rich by that Babylon spirit. 54:03.820 --> 54:07.020 So, and obviously I know that that's not the case for Solomon, but 54:07.020 --> 54:10.140 the different types of things that it's talking about are included in 54:10.140 --> 54:14.340 all these lists in Revelation, these lists in Ezekiel. 54:14.340 --> 54:17.660 So, hopefully that made sense. 54:17.660 --> 54:21.260 And if you don't believe that he pictures the Antichrist, then you know, 54:21.260 --> 54:23.860 I guess that's fine, you don't have to believe that. 54:23.860 --> 54:28.140 But I personally think that he does, and try to make a 55:11.180 --> 55:17.340 So think about the whole statue represented by Nebuchadnezzar, 55:17.340 --> 55:19.740 represented by the Medes and the Persians, 55:19.740 --> 55:23.820 represented by Alexander the Great as the king of the Greeks. 55:23.820 --> 55:27.180 And then Rome had their Caesars and everything. 55:27.180 --> 55:31.580 And all this power has been put into these one world governments. 55:31.580 --> 55:35.580 One of these one world governments is going to be where the Antichrist comes 55:35.580 --> 55:42.260 from, but that's the future ten-toed kingdom that comes out of Rome, basically. 55:42.260 --> 55:45.700 It's basically kind of an extension of Rome in the end. 55:45.700 --> 55:50.940 The two legs split and then become the ten-toed kingdom in the very end. 55:52.300 --> 55:54.060 But think about Adolf Hitler. 55:54.060 --> 55:58.260 I mean, think about all these guys who are these world dominating type people, 55:58.260 --> 56:01.980 even Nebuchadnezzar, like he just ruled absolutely, didn't he? 56:02.980 --> 56:04.940 Alexander the Great took over everything. 56:04.940 --> 56:08.220 He was 32 years old and basically got all the way to India, and 56:08.220 --> 56:10.620 then God just kind of let him get killed or whatever. 56:10.620 --> 56:13.860 He just died of some weird sickness that people think he got poisoned or whatever. 56:15.020 --> 56:17.900 But the point is, there's people in history that are gonna picture him, why? 56:17.900 --> 56:23.340 Because the Antichrist is going to be just some man that rises up, 56:23.340 --> 56:25.500 just like any of these other guys, like Adolf Hitler. 56:26.660 --> 56:29.860 It's one country, Germany. 56:29.860 --> 56:31.660 It's not that big, folks. 56:31.660 --> 56:35.380 Basically, it took the whole world combined together to beat them. 56:35.380 --> 56:38.660 I mean, you don't think that's a picture of the Antichrist? 56:38.660 --> 56:42.580 I mean, he definitely, he got up and he spake great things. 56:42.580 --> 56:45.420 You know, I don't understand German, so I don't understand what he's saying, but 56:45.420 --> 56:47.300 he had a lot of rigor people can kind of go, well, this has to be the Christ, right? 57:54.700 --> 58:02.100 So, think about this, we don't really know when the Antichrist is gonna come, do we? 58:02.100 --> 58:05.780 We're kind of waiting for that 70th week to kick off, but 58:05.780 --> 58:07.820 we don't really know when he's gonna come. 58:09.020 --> 58:12.500 And he's trying to do that, but, you know, that, that's something that's a mystery to 58:12.500 --> 58:15.220 us, but we don't know when Christ is gonna come back either. 58:15.220 --> 58:19.660 So you see how he tries to just, you know, it tries, he tries to copy and 58:19.660 --> 58:23.140 mock Christ, or, or, you know, he wants to be in the place of Christ. 58:23.140 --> 58:24.340 That's what Antichrist means. 58:25.180 --> 58:25.940 He wants to be in the place. 58:25.940 --> 58:30.420 So there are people throughout history that people thought were the Antichrist, 58:30.420 --> 58:33.380 like the Pope, you know, the Re, the Reformation. 58:33.380 --> 58:36.380 The people in the Reformation thought it was the Pope because what was happening, 58:36.380 --> 58:39.100 the Catholic Church was murdering Christians for 58:39.100 --> 58:43.180 even just pre, you know, for saying the Lord's Prayer in English. 58:43.180 --> 58:45.340 So there's been multiple people, 58:45.340 --> 58:48.900 multiple nations that have been thought to be the Antichrist, but 58:48.900 --> 58:52.220 it's never been them, but eventually it's gonna be one of them. 58:52.220 --> 58:54.580 It's gonna be one of these guys that are gonna rise up. 58:54.580 --> 58:59.140 And so there are pictures, and I think Hitler's probably the, 58:59.140 --> 59:01.900 the best picture of all of them, but even the, the Pope. 59:01.900 --> 59:05.900 But the Pope would be more like a, a false prophet, wouldn't he? 59:05.900 --> 59:06.500 Yeah. 59:06.500 --> 59:11.060 So, I mean, the Catholic Church may have yet a role to play in this whole thing.
