00:00.000 --> 00:02.060
you

00:30.880 --> 00:32.880
You

00:33.120 --> 00:33.560
Shift hygiene

00:45.620 --> 00:50.320
Pine切

00:50.320 --> 00:59.920
Hey, let's focus guys.

00:59.920 --> 01:15.920
Softly and tenderly, Jesus is calling, calling for you and for me.

01:15.920 --> 01:28.920
See on the portals, he's waiting and watching, watching for you and for me.

01:28.920 --> 01:42.920
Come home, come home, ye who are weary, come home.

01:42.920 --> 01:54.920
Furtively, tenderly, Jesus is calling, oh, oh, sinner, come home.

01:55.920 --> 02:08.920
Why should we tarry when Jesus is pleading, pleading for you and for me?

02:08.920 --> 02:20.920
Why should we linger and heed not his mercies, mercies for you and for me?

02:20.920 --> 02:35.920
Come home, come home, ye who are weary, come home.

02:35.920 --> 02:49.920
Furtively, tenderly, Jesus is calling, calling, oh, oh, sinner, come home.

02:50.920 --> 03:02.920
Time is now fleeting, the moments are passing, coming for you and for me.

03:02.920 --> 03:15.920
Shadows are gallering, deathbeds are coming, coming for you and for me.

03:15.920 --> 03:29.920
Come home, come home, ye who are weary, come home.

03:29.920 --> 03:43.920
Furtively, tenderly, Jesus is calling, calling, oh, oh, sinner, come home.

03:43.920 --> 03:56.920
Oh, for the wonderful love he has promised, promised for you and for me.

03:56.920 --> 04:09.920
Though we have said he has mercy and pardon, pardon for you and for me.

04:09.920 --> 04:23.920
Come home, come home, ye who are weary, come home.

04:23.920 --> 04:37.920
Furtively, tenderly, Jesus is calling, calling, oh, sinner, come home.

04:37.920 --> 04:40.920
Alright, you do not have a bulletin.

04:40.920 --> 04:42.920
I did have my son pass one out.

04:42.920 --> 04:45.920
Today is April 24th.

04:45.920 --> 04:48.920
Service times are Sunday morning, 10.30 a.m.

04:48.920 --> 04:50.920
Saturday evening, 4.30 p.m.

04:50.920 --> 04:52.920
Wednesday service is 5.30 p.m.

04:52.920 --> 04:54.920
Our sole waiting time is 2 p.m. on Sundays.

04:54.920 --> 04:57.920
And then I'll just go get into the numbers.

04:57.920 --> 04:58.920
So I got five souls.

04:58.920 --> 04:59.920
How many did you guys get?

04:59.920 --> 05:01.920
Anybody?

05:01.920 --> 05:02.920
Three?

05:02.920 --> 05:04.920
Three for Sylvia.

05:04.920 --> 05:07.920
Did anybody else get any?

05:07.920 --> 05:10.920
I don't know, I think maybe I'll get two.

05:10.920 --> 05:14.920
Two?

05:14.920 --> 05:16.920
It was mainly Spanish there.

05:16.920 --> 05:18.920
I worked there.

05:18.920 --> 05:19.920
Okay.

05:19.920 --> 05:21.920
And then did you guys, did you, yeah.

05:21.920 --> 05:23.920
Did you guys get any?

05:23.920 --> 05:24.920
No?

05:24.920 --> 05:26.920
Okay.

05:26.920 --> 05:28.920
Oh, we got another 10.

05:28.920 --> 05:32.920
Man, we've been averaging 10, so we're now at 468.

05:32.920 --> 05:36.920
So in 12, 12 more souls.

05:36.920 --> 05:44.920
And we will tie the record, 13, and we will beat the all-time record for souls one in a year.

05:44.920 --> 05:46.920
We're not even halfway through the year.

05:46.920 --> 05:48.920
So excited about that.

05:48.920 --> 05:49.920
Awesome.

05:49.920 --> 05:53.920
Well, today we're going to be in the Book of Leviticus.

05:53.920 --> 05:59.920
And then I think a lot of the soul winners went, I'm glad they went out.

05:59.920 --> 06:03.920
And I think that some of them had stuff to do, but it was good to have everybody out.

06:03.920 --> 06:06.920
I think we had, let's see, you went with your whole family, right?

06:06.920 --> 06:13.920
So that's six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15.

06:13.920 --> 06:16.920
We had 15 soul winners out there.

06:16.920 --> 06:20.920
That's almost one soul a person, so that was great.

06:20.920 --> 06:24.920
And then the only other thing, I will, I got to figure it out.

06:24.920 --> 06:28.920
So if you guys have any ideas, or I'll run it by a couple people just to make sure I go out on my basis cover.

06:28.920 --> 06:31.920
But we are going to do chartered soul winning.

06:31.920 --> 06:39.920
And I'm actually thinking I'm going to get those, like those fishing shirts, you know, the ones with the little, they're open.

06:39.920 --> 06:43.920
You know, so we'll just have a chartered, like a chartered soul winning event.

06:43.920 --> 06:49.920
Other than that, if there's nothing else, we have all the housekeeping rules.

06:49.920 --> 06:52.920
Just a couple of things for the boys.

06:52.920 --> 06:55.920
Hey, boys, all the boys, listen up.

06:55.920 --> 06:57.920
The restroom was really dirty.

06:57.920 --> 07:00.920
I know that you're smaller and you have a hard time washing your hands.

07:00.920 --> 07:01.920
I'm okay with that.

07:01.920 --> 07:05.920
If you drop water on the floor, you don't know how to clean it up.

07:05.920 --> 07:07.920
Please, just get an adult and we'll have it cleaned up.

07:07.920 --> 07:09.920
I had my son clean it up.

07:09.920 --> 07:10.920
I don't care who did it.

07:10.920 --> 07:16.920
You know, I've already told my son it doesn't matter if it's meant for somebody else, we clean it up.

07:16.920 --> 07:17.920
So there's wipes in there.

07:17.920 --> 07:19.920
There's gloves in there.

07:19.920 --> 07:22.920
All you got to do is wipe those floors with some Clorox and we just clean it up.

07:22.920 --> 07:23.920
It's not a big deal.

07:23.920 --> 07:27.920
I could tell it was water and not pee, so it's not going to be in the world.

07:27.920 --> 07:29.920
Same thing in the ladies' restroom.

07:29.920 --> 07:33.920
And then just housekeeping, mother, baby room in the back.

07:33.920 --> 07:38.920
If the babies or the kids get really loud, just for the sake of others that are trying to listen,

07:38.920 --> 07:40.920
that's what the mother, baby room is over there.

07:40.920 --> 07:43.920
So please take the babies over there with the moms.

07:43.920 --> 07:51.920
And that's specifically named mother, baby, meaning no men, no older children, nobody just the mothers and the babies.

07:51.920 --> 07:53.920
I get the grandmas to be in there with the babies.

07:53.920 --> 07:56.920
You know, they were mothers at one point, now they're grandmas.

07:56.920 --> 07:57.920
Well, they're still mothers, right?

07:57.920 --> 08:00.920
But they're just not attending to the little ones anymore.

08:00.920 --> 08:06.920
And then we got all the birthdays coming up and then upcoming activities.

08:06.920 --> 08:12.920
The big one coming up this month, well, at the end of this beginning of next month is the anti-Israel conference.

08:12.920 --> 08:15.920
I know some people are going to be there the whole time.

08:15.920 --> 08:18.920
Some of us are going to be there just a couple of days, whatever it is.

08:18.920 --> 08:20.920
And then pray for Haley.

08:20.920 --> 08:21.920
I'm going to try to put the due dates here.

08:21.920 --> 08:22.920
I didn't know.

08:22.920 --> 08:25.920
So she actually, her due date is next week.

08:25.920 --> 08:27.920
So pray for her because her due date is actually next Sunday.

08:27.920 --> 08:29.920
So that baby could come at any moment.

08:29.920 --> 08:30.920
Just pray for her.

08:30.920 --> 08:33.920
I mean, pray for her in the sense that she's about to deliver.

08:33.920 --> 08:36.920
So there's so many things, right?

08:36.920 --> 08:38.920
She's really uncomfortable probably.

08:38.920 --> 08:41.920
She's like ready to get that baby to pop out.

08:41.920 --> 08:45.920
Then, of course, comes the new ones that are having to take care of her baby and all that stuff.

08:45.920 --> 08:46.920
Just pray for her.

08:46.920 --> 08:48.920
Pray for Christian Rogers.

08:48.920 --> 08:52.920
Pray for her and her pregnancy and Marcel Wycliffe.

08:52.920 --> 08:53.920
Pray for her as well.

08:53.920 --> 08:55.920
And then all the other House of stuff.

08:55.920 --> 08:57.920
We have the prayer requests there in the back.

08:57.920 --> 09:09.920
And if there's nothing else, let's turn our handbooks over to page 143 and then we'll be in Leviticus 24, 143.

09:09.920 --> 09:14.920
Blessed assurance.

09:14.920 --> 09:15.920
Blessed assurance.

09:15.920 --> 09:17.920
Or blessed.

09:17.920 --> 09:24.920
On the first.

09:24.920 --> 09:29.920
Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine.

09:29.920 --> 09:34.920
Oh, what a poor taste of glory divine.

09:34.920 --> 09:38.920
Heir of salvation, purchase of God.

09:38.920 --> 09:42.920
Lord of his spirit, washed in his blood.

09:42.920 --> 09:45.920
This is my story.

09:45.920 --> 09:47.920
This is my song.

09:47.920 --> 09:52.920
Praising my Savior all the day long.

09:52.920 --> 09:54.920
This is my story.

09:54.920 --> 09:56.920
This is my song.

09:56.920 --> 10:01.920
Praising my Savior all the day long.

10:01.920 --> 10:06.920
Perfect sufficient, perfect delight.

10:06.920 --> 10:11.920
Visions of rapture now burst on my side.

10:11.920 --> 10:15.920
Angels descending bring from above.

10:15.920 --> 10:20.920
Echoes of mercy, this birth of love.

10:20.920 --> 10:22.920
This is my story.

10:22.920 --> 10:24.920
This is my song.

10:24.920 --> 10:29.920
Praising my Savior all the day long.

10:29.920 --> 10:31.920
This is my story.

10:31.920 --> 10:33.920
This is my song.

10:33.920 --> 10:38.920
Praising my Savior all the day long.

10:38.920 --> 10:43.920
Perfect submission, all is at rest.

10:43.920 --> 10:47.920
I am my Savior, I'm happy and blessed.

10:47.920 --> 10:52.920
Watching and waiting, looking above.

10:52.920 --> 10:56.920
Filled with his goodness, lost in his love.

10:56.920 --> 10:59.920
This is my story.

10:59.920 --> 11:01.920
This is my song.

11:01.920 --> 11:05.920
Praising my Savior all the day long.

11:05.920 --> 11:07.920
This is my story.

11:07.920 --> 11:09.920
This is my song.

11:09.920 --> 11:14.920
Praising my Savior all the day long.

11:14.920 --> 11:20.920
Alright, we'll have Brother James lead us in.

11:20.920 --> 11:25.920
I want to pull that thunker out one day.

11:25.920 --> 11:30.920
We'll be like, we are not Protestant.

11:30.920 --> 11:35.920
Thank you.

11:35.920 --> 11:40.920
Leviticus chapter 24.

11:40.920 --> 11:57.920
The Bible reads, And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Command the children of Israel,

11:57.920 --> 12:02.920
That they bring unto thee pure oil beaten for the light, To cause the lamps to burn continually.

12:02.920 --> 12:07.920
Without the veil of the testimony in the tabernacle in the congregation,

12:07.920 --> 12:13.920
Shall Aaron order it from the evening unto morning before the Lord continually.

12:13.920 --> 12:17.920
It shall be a statue forever in your generations.

12:17.920 --> 12:22.920
He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the Lord continually.

12:22.920 --> 12:26.920
And thou shalt take fine flour and bake twelve cakes thereof.

12:26.920 --> 12:29.920
Two tenths dills shall be in one cake.

12:29.920 --> 12:35.920
And thou shalt set in them two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before the Lord.

12:35.920 --> 12:42.920
And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial,

12:42.920 --> 12:45.920
Even an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

12:45.920 --> 12:50.920
Every Sabbath he shall set it in order before the Lord continually,

12:50.920 --> 12:55.920
Being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.

12:55.920 --> 13:00.920
And it shall be Aaron's and his sons, and they shall eat it in the holy place.

13:00.920 --> 13:07.920
For it is the most holy unto him of the offerings of the Lord, made by fire by a perpetual statue.

13:07.920 --> 13:15.920
And the son of an Israelite woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel.

13:15.920 --> 13:24.920
And this son of the Israelite woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp.

13:24.920 --> 13:31.920
And the Israelite woman's son blasphemed the name of the Lord and cursed.

13:31.920 --> 13:39.920
And they brought him unto Moses, and his mother's name was Shelometh, the daughter of Debris of the tribe of Dan.

13:39.920 --> 13:43.920
And they put him in the ward, that the mind of the Lord might be shewed them.

13:43.920 --> 13:49.920
And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Bring forth him that had cursed without the camp,

13:49.920 --> 13:56.920
And let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

13:56.920 --> 14:04.920
And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.

14:04.920 --> 14:12.920
And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregations shall certainly stone him.

14:13.920 --> 14:21.920
As well the stranger as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death.

14:21.920 --> 14:29.920
And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death, and he that killeth a beast shall make it good beast for beast.

14:29.920 --> 14:36.920
And if a man causeth a blemish in his neighbor, as he hath done, so shall it be done to him.

14:36.920 --> 14:43.920
And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord shall be put to death, and he that killeth a beast shall make it good beast for beast.

14:43.920 --> 14:48.920
And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord shall make it good beast for beast.

14:48.920 --> 14:52.920
And he that killeth a beast shall make it good beast for beast.

14:52.920 --> 14:57.920
And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord shall make it good beast for beast.

14:57.920 --> 15:02.920
And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord shall make it good beast for beast.

15:02.920 --> 15:07.920
And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord shall make it good beast for beast.

15:07.920 --> 15:12.920
And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord shall make it good beast for beast.

15:12.920 --> 15:17.920
And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord shall make it good beast for beast.

15:17.920 --> 15:22.920
And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord shall make it good beast for beast.

15:22.920 --> 15:27.920
And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord shall make it good beast for beast.

15:27.920 --> 15:31.920
Thank you so much for everything you do for us in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

15:31.920 --> 15:33.920
Amen.

15:33.920 --> 15:35.920
Thank you brother James.

15:35.920 --> 15:45.920
We're there in Leviticus 24 but we're actually just turn one page back and we're going to be starting in Leviticus 23.

15:45.920 --> 15:52.920
Trying to round this thing out in the next couple of weeks, hopefully in the month of May.

15:52.920 --> 15:57.920
So give me a second here guys.

15:57.920 --> 16:03.920
We're constantly improving all this stuff but we're not we're not where we need to be yet.

16:03.920 --> 16:08.920
We will be.

16:08.920 --> 16:11.920
But let's turn right there.

16:11.920 --> 16:17.920
We're literally in the title of the sermon this afternoon is.

16:17.920 --> 16:20.920
God is in charge.

16:20.920 --> 16:22.920
God is in charge.

16:22.920 --> 16:25.920
I thought I kept reading all the stuff and then I thought about it.

16:25.920 --> 16:39.920
I was like what's the best title and the best title is just God is in charge because we see here that God is giving very, very specific instructions to the children of Israel as he's rounding this out in the book of Leviticus.

16:39.920 --> 16:44.920
And if you notice the theme is that it's not their opinion.

16:44.920 --> 16:46.920
It's not what they think they should do.

16:46.920 --> 16:48.920
It's what God has told them to do.

16:48.920 --> 16:53.920
You're like obviously we're not in the Old Testament but in the New Testament you know what it still applies.

16:53.920 --> 17:08.920
God still wants us to worship to do the things in church in our life the way we raise our children the way we read our Bible the way we pray to the Lord the way we execute things we do it in God's way not the way that we think.

17:08.920 --> 17:27.920
As a matter of fact that you know this just came to mind right now as I was going as we were preparing this or as I was getting ready but yesterday my kids had like their end of year homeschool little ceremony and what we do or we've been we've done for the last couple years is we're part of this group called CC or Classical Conversations.

17:27.920 --> 17:31.920
And all they do is just meet once a week in a school setting.

17:31.920 --> 17:33.920
Obviously the mothers are the ones that run it.

17:33.920 --> 17:35.920
So it's still homeschool.

17:35.920 --> 17:37.920
There's no like official.

17:37.920 --> 17:44.920
It's not like what they end up doing is like different charters rent out different buildings, typically a church building.

17:44.920 --> 17:47.920
And we were sitting there in the church that they were at.

17:47.920 --> 17:54.920
First of all, let me tell you our church pales in comparison they have like all the nice like it's the big.

17:54.920 --> 18:09.920
It's about the size of this church as far as like the main auditorium, probably just a few more people but you know they have like the drum set and the guitar set and they've got, you know, now that I do this I know all the equipment they have they have the nice cameras and everything

18:09.920 --> 18:15.920
And then of course all their Bibles are NIV Bibles and they've got ministries for everything.

18:15.920 --> 18:17.920
You know what I didn't notice is a soul winning ministry.

18:17.920 --> 18:21.920
So everybody decides to worship God the way they want to.

18:21.920 --> 18:26.920
And we're getting to the point where churches are looking more like the churches in Jeremiah than churches in Leviticus.

18:26.920 --> 18:33.920
Right where they get to the end of Jeremiah and Jeremiah, God's telling Jeremiah, hey, I don't care about their ablations anymore.

18:33.920 --> 18:35.920
I don't care about their sacrifices.

18:35.920 --> 18:38.920
I don't care about their worship because it's all just lip service.

18:38.920 --> 18:39.920
It's all fake.

18:39.920 --> 18:40.920
They deal with me falsely.

18:40.920 --> 18:42.920
They don't carry the truth properly.

18:42.920 --> 18:49.920
And so one of the things that we can learn from the book of Leviticus is that the Levitical priesthood was very specific.

18:49.920 --> 18:54.920
You know what as Christians, one of the reasons why we come to church like this is because we believe in hard preaching.

18:54.920 --> 18:59.920
And one of the tenets of hard preaching is that it's specific.

18:59.920 --> 19:03.920
You know today I didn't mince words in the morning about covetousness.

19:03.920 --> 19:04.920
Right.

19:04.920 --> 19:05.920
It's not like I'm just kind of tippy toeing around.

19:05.920 --> 19:10.920
I'm letting you know this is what the Bible specifically says about this one specific subject.

19:10.920 --> 19:13.920
And so when we go into the Bible, I only got three points for you today.

19:13.920 --> 19:14.920
This is what we want to look at.

19:14.920 --> 19:21.920
Now before we do that, I do want to take a look at that word because there's an interesting interjection there and you read it.

19:21.920 --> 19:26.920
The guy who blasphemes God, it just feels like it's just kind of thrown in there.

19:26.920 --> 19:31.920
But it's obviously thrown in there for a specific reason, which is we need to not curse God.

19:31.920 --> 19:32.920
Right.

19:32.920 --> 19:35.920
And that word blaspheme, that's literally what that means.

19:35.920 --> 19:36.920
Right.

19:36.920 --> 19:42.920
It's that you go, you're basically cursing or going against God and his authority.

19:42.920 --> 19:48.920
Whereas railing can be against God or can be other people blaspheming specifically dealing with God.

19:48.920 --> 19:51.920
You know, the name of God, his authority, what he's doing.

19:51.920 --> 19:53.920
And it's a serious thing.

19:53.920 --> 19:56.920
That's why we don't even take the name of God in vain.

19:56.920 --> 19:57.920
You know what?

19:57.920 --> 19:59.920
We don't even like listening to other people say God's name in vain.

19:59.920 --> 20:00.920
Right.

20:00.920 --> 20:02.920
And that makes us uncomfortable.

20:02.920 --> 20:05.920
And so these are the things that we need to pay attention to.

20:05.920 --> 20:09.920
But the first point I have or before we get to the first point, it's just the way of intro.

20:09.920 --> 20:15.920
It's just that I just want to point out that God doesn't accept like self-defined worship.

20:15.920 --> 20:22.920
You know, that's why we're so hard on other Christians that claim to be saved by grace.

20:22.920 --> 20:26.920
That's nothing to do whether we like them or not and that we want to be right.

20:26.920 --> 20:32.920
It's just that God is right and we need to do as much as possible to stay within the straight and narrow.

20:32.920 --> 20:34.920
Right. That is the most specific thing.

20:34.920 --> 20:38.920
And of course, we all have stumbling blocks.

20:38.920 --> 20:40.920
We all make provisions for the flesh.

20:40.920 --> 20:42.920
We all do things that are getting in the way.

20:42.920 --> 20:44.920
But, you know, we need to not work on it.

20:44.920 --> 20:48.920
Someone was just telling me earlier like, oh, you know, I'm going to go home.

20:48.920 --> 20:52.920
And, you know, and then he started telling me all the reasons why.

20:52.920 --> 20:54.920
I like, look, that's between you and the Lord.

20:54.920 --> 20:59.920
You know, obviously the Bible is very specific as to what you should be doing, whether you're here or not.

20:59.920 --> 21:01.920
That's between you and God.

21:01.920 --> 21:04.920
And, you know, we're all going to deal with those consequences.

21:04.920 --> 21:06.920
Should you be in church every time church is open?

21:06.920 --> 21:09.920
Absolutely. I believe that wholeheartedly.

21:09.920 --> 21:10.920
I've preached it.

21:10.920 --> 21:15.920
You know, I don't have to tell you one on one that you should be in church.

21:15.920 --> 21:20.920
Like, you know, and it's funny because as the pastor people come and be like, oh, I'm leaving and you can tell they feel weird or guilty.

21:20.920 --> 21:22.920
Look, do whatever you got to do.

21:22.920 --> 21:23.920
I'm not the one that's going to.

21:23.920 --> 21:29.920
I have nothing to do with the punishment or the challenges that are going to happen in your life.

21:29.920 --> 21:33.920
The one that does is God, where I am responsible for is up here in the pulpit.

21:33.920 --> 21:37.920
The Bible actually says that it's my duty not to lord over the congregation, right?

21:37.920 --> 21:42.920
Not to like come into your home and tell you how to run it or even the way you worship.

21:42.920 --> 21:45.920
Like, I shouldn't be chasing you. You're leaving. You're not coming.

21:45.920 --> 21:48.920
Hey, why aren't you staying for the second service? What's wrong?

21:48.920 --> 21:50.920
You already like, no, we're not that kind of church.

21:50.920 --> 21:52.920
You don't want to stay. That's between you and the Lord.

21:52.920 --> 21:54.920
Right. Like that is a bit.

21:54.920 --> 21:57.920
And you say that sounds contradictory to what you preach.

21:57.920 --> 21:59.920
No, it isn't. What I preach is God's truth.

21:59.920 --> 22:03.920
But I also have things that I have to follow as the pastor rules.

22:03.920 --> 22:05.920
But don't get me wrong.

22:05.920 --> 22:08.920
When I'm up here, I will preach that you got to be in church three times a week.

22:08.920 --> 22:10.920
You don't want to be in it. That's fine.

22:10.920 --> 22:12.920
That's what the Bible says. Right.

22:12.920 --> 22:14.920
So we've seen all these rules, right?

22:14.920 --> 22:18.920
We've seen all the blood and the holiness and the offerings.

22:18.920 --> 22:24.920
So we're going to go here into kind of like the feast, just some of the final rules here of a redeemed people.

22:24.920 --> 22:29.920
Right. And what we see here also is what structure.

22:29.920 --> 22:32.920
This is not some willy nilly thing that we do.

22:32.920 --> 22:36.920
This is not just like off the seat of our pants.

22:36.920 --> 22:38.920
We're not just shooting from the hip here.

22:38.920 --> 22:42.920
God specifically has specific rules that they need to follow.

22:42.920 --> 22:44.920
And if they don't, there's consequences for that.

22:44.920 --> 22:47.920
Go to Leviticus 23, just one chapter back.

22:47.920 --> 22:51.920
And the very first thing we see there is it says in the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

22:51.920 --> 22:56.920
Speak unto the children of Israel and say unto them concerning the feasts of the Lord,

22:56.920 --> 23:00.920
which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations.

23:00.920 --> 23:03.920
Even these are my feasts.

23:03.920 --> 23:08.920
So God says, hey, there's specific feasts that you need to follow.

23:08.920 --> 23:09.920
And why is this important?

23:09.920 --> 23:17.920
Because later on, when we get deeper into the Kings and Chronicles and the judges and all that stuff,

23:17.920 --> 23:20.920
already they're going to veer off from this.

23:20.920 --> 23:23.920
And some of the feasts look like the feast of the world.

23:23.920 --> 23:25.920
And some of the worship looks like the worship of the world.

23:25.920 --> 23:27.920
And they need to focus on the things that we do.

23:27.920 --> 23:30.920
The Bible tells us in John 4, verse 24, God is a spirit.

23:30.920 --> 23:35.920
And then they worship him, must worship him in spirit and truth.

23:36.920 --> 23:39.920
You can't just, you know, these truth seekers, if they don't have the spirit,

23:39.920 --> 23:42.920
they're just bumping their heads up against the wall.

23:42.920 --> 23:48.920
You know, you may have the facts of life like gravity and the sun goes up and it goes down.

23:48.920 --> 23:53.920
But if you don't have Christ, it's just kind of like inane facts.

23:53.920 --> 23:55.920
It has no purpose.

23:55.920 --> 24:00.920
But if you understand the purpose behind it and you're doing, then you worship God in spirit and in truth.

24:00.920 --> 24:01.920
Right?

24:01.920 --> 24:03.920
Ecclesiastes 5, I used this last week.

24:03.920 --> 24:04.920
I think it's interesting.

24:04.920 --> 24:06.920
I keep using this a lot, but it really sticks out with me.

24:06.920 --> 24:09.920
In Ecclesiastes 5, verse 1, the Bible says,

24:09.920 --> 24:13.920
Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God.

24:13.920 --> 24:15.920
What does that mean, keep thy foot?

24:15.920 --> 24:23.920
Hey, be sober, be in control of yourself and of your faculties.

24:23.920 --> 24:28.920
And when you come to the house of God, it says, and be more ready to hear.

24:28.920 --> 24:29.920
More ready.

24:29.920 --> 24:32.920
So if you're ready to go to work, if you're ready to go to school,

24:32.920 --> 24:34.920
if you're ready to be with your wife or your children, whatever,

24:34.920 --> 24:39.920
God says, whatever you do that you put effort into, be more ready when you come to church.

24:39.920 --> 24:42.920
This is the time when you need to be on it, when you need to be focused.

24:42.920 --> 24:48.920
It says, then it gives sacrifice of fools, for they consider not that they do evil.

24:48.920 --> 24:52.920
And so, guys, it's simple, right?

24:52.920 --> 24:54.920
Church is important.

24:54.920 --> 24:59.920
Every sermon is important, whether you like it or not, whether it's exciting or not,

24:59.920 --> 25:03.920
whether it's the subject you wanted to hear or not, whether the preacher is dynamic or not,

25:03.920 --> 25:05.920
it's important.

25:05.920 --> 25:08.920
And if you could apply that and actually learn in your life,

25:08.920 --> 25:10.920
it'll make a huge difference in the things that you do.

25:10.920 --> 25:11.920
But let's go to the first point.

25:11.920 --> 25:16.920
The first point I have for you today is, God sets the time of worship, right?

25:16.920 --> 25:19.920
And what does that even mean?

25:19.920 --> 25:21.920
Like, what am I trying to get across here?

25:21.920 --> 25:24.920
Look, church isn't about feelings.

25:24.920 --> 25:28.920
Now, I'm not saying you're not going to feel stuff when the word of God is preached.

25:28.920 --> 25:32.920
Oftentimes, I'll be reading my Bible and I'll get chills on just a certain scripture.

25:32.920 --> 25:36.920
The other day I was reading out loud the Psalms to my kids.

25:36.920 --> 25:38.920
Man, I got fired up.

25:38.920 --> 25:41.920
Like, I was like, man, I'm ready to preach again, right?

25:41.920 --> 25:42.920
Like, you feel the word.

25:42.920 --> 25:43.920
But you know what?

25:43.920 --> 25:45.920
God doesn't care if I feel it or not.

25:45.920 --> 25:47.920
What he wants me to do is to do it.

25:47.920 --> 25:56.920
That's why when we preach at the door, we don't need this outward, visible change to understand that they believed on the Lord Jesus Christ.

25:56.920 --> 25:57.920
You know what we need?

25:57.920 --> 26:00.920
It's for them to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

26:00.920 --> 26:00.920

26:00.920 --> 26:04.920
And oftentimes people get all in on like, well, how do you know they even changed?

26:04.920 --> 26:06.920
I don't care if they changed.

26:06.920 --> 26:09.920
They changed supernaturally in the spirit.

26:09.920 --> 26:11.920
First of all, I can't see it.

26:11.920 --> 26:14.920
I just have proof because I live by faith, not by sight.

26:14.920 --> 26:20.920
And it has nothing to do with whether, you know, they jumped up for joy and shut some tears or they're just like, yeah, I believe.

26:20.920 --> 26:25.920
At the end of the day, all it is is that they believe, right?

26:25.920 --> 26:27.920
And it's the same thing with worship.

26:27.920 --> 26:29.920
God sets the times of worship.

26:29.920 --> 26:31.920
He sets the way we do things.

26:31.920 --> 26:33.920
He does this like in the New Testament church.

26:33.920 --> 26:35.920
When is the time for worship?

26:35.920 --> 26:38.920
Well, technically, it's all the time, right?

26:38.920 --> 26:41.920
We should sing his praises daily and continually.

26:41.920 --> 26:50.920
But we also have set times like Sunday morning, Sunday evening, Wednesday when we have special guests or special worship times.

26:50.920 --> 26:51.920
Those are the things we do, right?

26:51.920 --> 26:52.920
But who controls it?

26:52.920 --> 26:53.920
The Lord.

26:53.920 --> 26:54.920
Right.

26:54.920 --> 27:03.920
Oftentimes, as a matter of fact, this week, Heath and I were working on having to make sure we tighten the service, the order of service.

27:03.920 --> 27:04.920
Why do we do that?

27:04.920 --> 27:07.920
Well, because we want to be structured because God gives a structure.

27:07.920 --> 27:10.920
So we don't want to just get up here all willy nilly.

27:10.920 --> 27:16.920
You know, I we even asked Chad GPT to take all the hymns and give us like a specific hymn order because I'll be honest with you.

27:16.920 --> 27:22.920
There's things that I drop the ball on and preparing hymns for Sunday morning and Sunday evening and Wednesday is probably one of the biggest things.

27:22.920 --> 27:31.920
Weaknesses we have in the order of service like I'm just kind of, you know, and but the Bible says, hey, you need to have this thing figured out ahead of time.

27:31.920 --> 27:34.920
If he's doing it here, then I need to do it as well.

27:34.920 --> 27:35.920
Right.

27:35.920 --> 27:36.920
Go to your little Leviticus.

27:36.920 --> 27:44.920
But in Psalm 100, so there Leviticus 23 verse four, the Bible says, and by the way, just stay in Leviticus unless I unless I see somewhere big to turn.

27:44.920 --> 27:51.920
But the very first thing is in this in this point, I have like little mini sub points is worship is for God.

27:51.920 --> 27:52.920
It's not man centered.

27:52.920 --> 27:53.920
It's God centered.

27:53.920 --> 27:54.920
Right.

27:54.920 --> 27:59.920
And the appointment or the ordinations are of the Lord.

27:59.920 --> 28:00.920
Right.

28:00.920 --> 28:04.920
I'm not a preacher of truth because I want it to be.

28:04.920 --> 28:05.920
And I just got up here.

28:05.920 --> 28:07.920
I'm a preacher of truth because I wanted to be.

28:07.920 --> 28:12.920
But then I was ordained by Pastor Cobb like and he followed the biblical model.

28:12.920 --> 28:17.920
Otherwise, it's it doesn't mean anything like what's this guy's name?

28:18.920 --> 28:22.920
The guy who got divorced and he talks with a southern accent.

28:22.920 --> 28:23.920
He's a moron.

28:23.920 --> 28:25.920
You know who I'm talking about.

28:25.920 --> 28:27.920
No, not Hagee.

28:27.920 --> 28:29.920
No, the guy that got divorced.

28:29.920 --> 28:30.920
He's an idiot.

28:30.920 --> 28:31.920
Greg Locke.

28:31.920 --> 28:32.920
Greg Locke.

28:32.920 --> 28:33.920
Right.

28:33.920 --> 28:34.920
He got up there.

28:34.920 --> 28:35.920
He was a pastor for a long time.

28:35.920 --> 28:37.920
I think he even started out as a Baptist pastor.

28:37.920 --> 28:45.920
If I don't recall correctly, then he left his wife publicly for the secretary.

28:45.920 --> 28:46.920
That's not bad enough.

28:46.920 --> 28:51.920
You know, back in the day when things like that happened, it was a scandal.

28:51.920 --> 28:52.920
And then the person would step down.

28:52.920 --> 28:54.920
No, he doubled down.

28:54.920 --> 28:59.920
And now he runs a bigger church and he's like all into like politics and, you know,

28:59.920 --> 29:01.920
sounding the shofar and all that stuff.

29:01.920 --> 29:02.920
But you know what?

29:02.920 --> 29:05.920
He's doing it because he's man centered, not God centered.

29:05.920 --> 29:06.920
Right.

29:06.920 --> 29:07.920
He does it.

29:07.920 --> 29:10.920
You know, he wants to please himself, not please God.

29:10.920 --> 29:14.920
And the Bible says there in verse 20 in verse four of Leviticus chapter four,

29:14.920 --> 29:17.920
verse four of Leviticus 23 says, these are the feasts of the Lord.

29:17.920 --> 29:18.920
Notice what it says.

29:18.920 --> 29:23.920
These are the feasts of the Lord, not the feasts that we made up.

29:23.920 --> 29:29.920
Even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons for everything there is a

29:29.920 --> 29:30.920
time.

29:30.920 --> 29:31.920
Right.

29:31.920 --> 29:34.920
In Psalm 100 in verse one, it says, make a joyful noise unto the Lord.

29:34.920 --> 29:38.920
All ye lands, serve the Lord with gladness.

29:38.920 --> 29:40.920
Come before his presence with singing.

29:40.920 --> 29:44.920
Know ye that the Lord, he is God.

29:44.920 --> 29:48.920
It is he that made us and not we ourselves.

29:48.920 --> 29:51.920
We are his people and the sheep of his pasture.

29:51.920 --> 29:55.920
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise.

29:55.920 --> 29:59.920
Be thankful unto him and bless his name for the Lord is good.

29:59.920 --> 30:02.920
His mercy is everlasting and his truth endureth to all generations.

30:02.920 --> 30:07.920
Hey, I know there's often times where you might come to church, you're not feeling it or whatever.

30:07.920 --> 30:13.920
At the end of the day, you know, the leveled up Christian, the one that's got all the bonus

30:13.920 --> 30:18.920
points and bonus lives and everything, he figures out a way to come to church with thanksgiving

30:18.920 --> 30:20.920
and with praise.

30:20.920 --> 30:21.920
Right.

30:21.920 --> 30:24.920
I don't know, you just got to get to the door, maybe before you get out of the car, you're

30:24.920 --> 30:29.920
just like, Lord, I just got to fight with my wife, my kids pissing me off, and everything's

30:29.920 --> 30:34.920
going to hell in a handbasket, but let me get in the right frame of mind.

30:34.920 --> 30:38.920
And that really does require maturity in the Christian walk.

30:38.920 --> 30:42.920
Because, I mean, I know it's not like that all the time, but when it's not like that,

30:42.920 --> 30:43.920
well, that's easy preaching.

30:43.920 --> 30:46.920
You know, when you're happy to come to church, what am I going to tell you?

30:46.920 --> 30:47.920
Be happy, you're already there.

30:47.920 --> 30:51.920
But it's when you're not happy that you should figure out how to stay happy in church.

30:51.920 --> 30:52.920
Right.

30:52.920 --> 30:57.920
In Colossians 2, verse 16, the Bible says, let no man therefore judge you in meat or

30:57.920 --> 31:00.920
in drink or in respect of a holy day.

31:00.920 --> 31:02.920
And let's go there real quick because I think I cut this one off.

31:02.920 --> 31:03.920
I apologize.

31:03.920 --> 31:06.920
But the nice thing is we know our Bibles.

31:06.920 --> 31:09.920
So let's just go to the book of Colossians.

31:09.920 --> 31:13.920
Colossians 2, 16.

31:27.920 --> 31:28.920
Right here.

31:28.920 --> 31:32.920
It says, let no man therefore judge you in meat or in drink or in respect of a holy

31:32.920 --> 31:39.920
day or of the new moon or of the Sabbath days, which are a shadow of things to come,

31:39.920 --> 31:41.920
but the body is of Christ.

31:41.920 --> 31:44.920
And so everything is centered around Christ.

31:44.920 --> 31:47.920
And in the New Testament, it's even better because Colossians cleared it up.

31:47.920 --> 31:52.920
It says, hey, you don't have to worry anymore about the meat or the drink or respect of

31:52.920 --> 31:53.920
a holy day.

31:54.920 --> 31:59.920
This is one of those verses that really started to gear me away from the Seventh Day of Adventist

31:59.920 --> 32:02.920
because it says, or of the Sabbath days.

32:02.920 --> 32:07.920
And I'll put the reason I'm making an emphasis there is because we're about to touch that

32:07.920 --> 32:16.920
here in a little bit, which is the next subpoint, which is that the feasts were all about Christ.

32:16.920 --> 32:18.920
And what does the Sabbath represent?

32:18.920 --> 32:22.920
It represents our rest in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

32:22.920 --> 32:26.920
He rested, so we rested because he did the work.

32:26.920 --> 32:28.920
In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.

32:28.920 --> 32:31.920
And then after six days, he rested.

32:31.920 --> 32:34.920
And a lot of people try to take that and make it theirs.

32:34.920 --> 32:38.920
Look, the reason we're resting is because God rested on the seventh day after making

32:38.920 --> 32:39.920
the world.

32:39.920 --> 32:41.920
And then later on, what does it mean?

32:41.920 --> 32:47.920
It means that Jesus Christ died on the cross, and then he rested and we rest on his finished

32:47.920 --> 32:48.920
work.

32:48.920 --> 32:51.920
The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

32:51.920 --> 32:55.920
And what we're going to see here is this is one of my favorite chapters.

32:55.920 --> 32:59.920
The reason Leviticus 23 is near and dear to my heart, you'd say, that's one of your favorite

32:59.920 --> 33:00.920
chapters.

33:00.920 --> 33:04.920
It is one of my favorite chapters because when you read through it in the Spirit, it

33:04.920 --> 33:08.920
debunks and destroys any Sabbath worshiping religion.

33:08.920 --> 33:13.920
Specifically for me, it was the Seventh Day of Adventist, but the Jews, the Seventh Day

33:13.920 --> 33:16.920
of Adventist, the Roman Catholics.

33:16.920 --> 33:17.920
You say what?

33:17.920 --> 33:21.920
Because the Roman Catholics actually, they keep the Sabbath, and that's why it's called

33:21.920 --> 33:24.920
Mass on Sunday, because it's for the masses.

33:24.920 --> 33:28.920
Their day of worship is technically, and I know I'll have some Catholic correct me,

33:28.920 --> 33:32.920
that's because Catholics don't read anything, only the Fathers.

33:32.920 --> 33:38.920
But Leviticus 23 right there says, six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is

33:38.920 --> 33:41.920
the Sabbath of rest and holy convocation.

33:41.920 --> 33:48.920
So far, so good for the Seventh Day of Adventist and the Jews and even the Seventh Day Baptist

33:48.920 --> 33:49.920
or whatever.

33:49.920 --> 33:51.920
But then we go to verse 11, it says,

34:02.920 --> 34:07.920
Then we see here, again, I'm touching on all the verses that talk about the Sabbath.

34:07.920 --> 34:08.920
It says,

34:18.920 --> 34:21.920
And you say, well, still, you can make the argument that that's Saturday, right?

34:21.920 --> 34:22.920
The seventh day.

34:22.920 --> 34:25.920
But then, verse 16 says,

34:33.920 --> 34:35.920
Now go down to verse 24 and it says,

34:37.920 --> 34:44.920
In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a Sabbath.

34:44.920 --> 34:50.920
So notice that that day, the first day of the month, in the seventh month, could fall,

34:50.920 --> 34:54.920
you know, if you're cycling through, you're not always landing on what?

34:54.920 --> 34:55.920
Saturday, right?

34:55.920 --> 34:57.920
It could be on any day of the week.

34:57.920 --> 35:00.920
A memorial of blowing of trumpets and holy convocation.

35:00.920 --> 35:03.920
So like, you know, Christmas doesn't always fall on the same day.

35:03.920 --> 35:07.920
It falls on the 25th, but not on the same day of the week, right?

35:07.920 --> 35:09.920
Verse 32, it says,

35:21.920 --> 35:26.920
So notice, all right, and by the way, this is important because people will die on this hill

35:26.920 --> 35:30.920
that the Sabbath is Saturday and that you need to keep it and you get in trouble.

35:30.920 --> 35:33.920
I mean, the seventh day of Adventist will make you seem like you're going to lose your salvation.

35:33.920 --> 35:41.920
But if the Sabbath is only on Saturday, then God is a liar because he's the one changing it.

35:41.920 --> 35:45.920
Because honestly, that word Shabbat or Shabbat or whatever, if you really,

35:45.920 --> 35:47.920
this is many years ago and I probably should have brought that,

35:47.920 --> 35:51.920
but it just means like a day of praise or holiness, right?

35:51.920 --> 35:53.920
It's not a Saturday, right?

35:53.920 --> 35:56.920
And so this is where they get it confused.

35:56.920 --> 35:59.920
It says there in verse 38, it says,

35:59.920 --> 36:00.920
It says,

36:00.920 --> 36:25.920
And on the eighth day shall be a Sabbath.

36:25.920 --> 36:33.920
I mean, any Jew, Zionist, seventh day of Adventist or anybody who believes that just the Sabbath is Saturday

36:33.920 --> 36:39.920
and they read this and they still deny that the Sabbath is literally for the Lord and not for us,

36:39.920 --> 36:43.920
they're just false prophets or they're just willingly ignorant.

36:43.920 --> 36:44.920
Because I mean, I think that's pretty clear.

36:44.920 --> 36:49.920
I remember one time, this is many, many years ago when we first started the soul waiting program here at the church.

36:49.920 --> 36:54.920
We were at one apartment complex and I ran into the seventh day of Adventist and I took them to these verses

36:54.920 --> 36:59.920
and I'll never forget, he was like, Oh, let me go home and read this because he didn't know what to say

36:59.920 --> 37:01.920
because there's nothing for you to say.

37:01.920 --> 37:02.920
It's checkmate, baby.

37:02.920 --> 37:03.920
It's done.

37:03.920 --> 37:09.920
Like the Lord is the one who decides when the Sabbath is and it's not when you think.

37:09.920 --> 37:10.920
All right.

37:10.920 --> 37:12.920
Go to Leviticus 23 right there in verse five.

37:12.920 --> 37:14.920
Stay like I said, Leviticus.

37:14.920 --> 37:21.920
Another thing that we see is that we celebrate here the Passover says in the 14th day of the first month

37:21.920 --> 37:25.920
at even is the Lord's Passover.

37:25.920 --> 37:27.920
So we have the rest in God.

37:27.920 --> 37:29.920
We have the appointed everything centered around God.

37:29.920 --> 37:34.920
We also have, you know, Christ is our sacrifice, the Passover, first Corinthians five seven.

37:34.920 --> 37:42.920
The Bible literally tells us we saw this purge out there for the old leaven that you may be a new lump as you're unleavened.

37:42.920 --> 37:47.920
For even Christ, our Passover is sacrificed for us.

37:47.920 --> 37:50.920
It's pretty important.

37:50.920 --> 37:54.920
Leviticus 23 10 also shows us about the first fruits or the resurrection.

37:54.920 --> 37:59.920
It says, Speak unto the children of Israel and say unto them, When you come into the land which I give unto you,

37:59.920 --> 38:06.920
and shall reap the harvest thereof, you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest unto the priest.

38:06.920 --> 38:07.920
And we have that hymn, right?

38:07.920 --> 38:09.920
Bringing in the sheaves.

38:09.920 --> 38:12.920
And I'm sorry if I butchered it, but you know, we're bringing in the sheaves.

38:12.920 --> 38:17.920
So we are the husband men for what's left to Christ in the spiritual sense.

38:17.920 --> 38:26.920
First Corinthians 15 20, the Bible actually says, But now is Christ risen from the dead and become the first fruit of them that's left.

38:26.920 --> 38:27.920
Right.

38:27.920 --> 38:31.920
And then we have the harvest, the 50th week, the Pentecost.

38:31.920 --> 38:38.920
By the way, that word Pentecost, I know the Pentecost is like to give it some kind of weird spiritual meaning, but Pentecost just means 50.

38:38.920 --> 38:39.920
Right.

38:39.920 --> 38:40.920
Penta, right.

38:40.920 --> 38:43.920
Like Pentagon, because it has five points.

38:43.920 --> 38:44.920
You know, there's so many.

38:44.920 --> 38:45.920
Right.

38:45.920 --> 38:52.920
And then we see this fulfillment in Acts two, verse one.

38:52.920 --> 38:54.920
You don't have to turn it, like I said, for the sake of time.

38:54.920 --> 39:00.920
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

39:00.920 --> 39:04.920
Literally, all it said was that they had been given the harvest of the first fruits of their harvest.

39:04.920 --> 39:06.920
And they were all with one accord in one place.

39:06.920 --> 39:12.920
And then we have the second verse, the second verse, the third verse, the fourth verse, the fifth verse, the sixth verse.

39:12.920 --> 39:14.920
And they were all with one accord in one place.

39:14.920 --> 39:17.920
Literally, all it said was that they were following the old school.

39:17.920 --> 39:21.920
You know, they were still weeding out the Old Testament.

39:21.920 --> 39:23.920
And they were on the 50th day.

39:23.920 --> 39:27.920
And when that happened, the Holy Spirit was now left.

39:27.920 --> 39:35.920
They no longer needed the oil representation and the way that it was done in the Old Testament, because Jesus Christ ascended.

39:35.920 --> 39:36.920
And what did he leave?

39:36.920 --> 39:45.920
The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, which the oil in the Old Testament or actually throughout the Bible always represents or the majority of time represents what?

39:45.920 --> 39:46.920
The Holy Spirit.

39:46.920 --> 39:47.920
All right.

39:47.920 --> 39:49.920
Leviticus 23, 24.

39:49.920 --> 39:58.920
Then we have just when speaking of the trumpet and the atonement and the tabernacles, it's talking about the future, right?

39:58.920 --> 40:00.920
The future coming of Christ.

40:00.920 --> 40:09.920
24 speak unto the children of Israel, saying in the seventh month, in the first day of the month shall ye have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing trumpets and holy convocation.

40:09.920 --> 40:13.920
Well, how is Jesus coming with the Trump?

40:13.920 --> 40:16.920
And every eye shall see him and everybody shall confess that he is Lord.

40:16.920 --> 40:23.920
They shall, you know, and on verse 27, it says, also on the 10th day of this month, there shall be a day of atonement.

40:23.920 --> 40:31.920
It shall be in holy convocation unto you, and you shall afflict your souls an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

40:31.920 --> 40:36.920
And then you just go down to verse 42 says, he shall dwell in booths seven days.

40:36.920 --> 40:39.920
All that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths.

40:39.920 --> 40:41.920
And you say, what's the spiritual significance here?

40:41.920 --> 40:44.920
Hey, they never had a home.

40:44.920 --> 40:48.920
They were nomads, basically, which is what we're nomads.

40:48.920 --> 40:50.920
We don't have a home here on earth.

40:50.920 --> 40:51.920
We have a spiritual home.

40:51.920 --> 40:52.920
We're looking for it.

40:52.920 --> 40:53.920
We're just kind of passing by.

40:53.920 --> 40:55.920
We're just passerby's.

40:55.920 --> 40:57.920
We're just walking by.

40:57.920 --> 41:01.920
And, you know, that's why we don't worry about the treasures here on earth.

41:01.920 --> 41:03.920
You know, I'm just glad we have the home we have.

41:03.920 --> 41:06.920
I think somebody asked me, I think it was Brother Heath, we were talking.

41:06.920 --> 41:08.920
He's like, how long do you plan to stay in your home?

41:08.920 --> 41:10.920
I was like, if I can till the day that I die, right?

41:10.920 --> 41:15.920
Like, I don't, I'm not looking to upgrade or downgrade unless the Lord leads it.

41:15.920 --> 41:21.920
So right here, the thing that I wanted to point out is that God already knows the times, right?

41:21.920 --> 41:23.920
We don't need to improve it.

41:23.920 --> 41:24.920
We don't need to rush it.

41:24.920 --> 41:26.920
We don't need to modify it.

41:26.920 --> 41:27.920
You know what we need to do?

41:27.920 --> 41:28.920
We just need to follow it.

41:28.920 --> 41:34.920
The biggest challenge with America today is that nobody wants to do what God asked them to do.

41:34.920 --> 41:37.920
Nobody wants to follow his rules.

41:37.920 --> 41:39.920
Everybody wants to make up their own worship.

41:39.920 --> 41:46.920
I mean, literally, you could just, I could take any church within a 10-mile radius of us,

41:46.920 --> 41:52.920
go on their website and I could just point to like 20 things that are wrong that are not in the Bible, right?

41:52.920 --> 41:59.920
You know, they got all these pastors that are going to Bible college and then they ordain them,

41:59.920 --> 42:05.920
not following any biblical model, you know, not married, no children, or, you know,

42:05.920 --> 42:09.920
not apt to teach or anything like that.

42:09.920 --> 42:11.920
How do you know he's even good to be a pastor?

42:11.920 --> 42:12.920
Some guy came out of college.

42:12.920 --> 42:13.920
Let me tell you something.

42:13.920 --> 42:17.920
I remember coming out of college thinking that was some hot stuff and the world really like said,

42:17.920 --> 42:19.920
no, you're not, right?

42:19.920 --> 42:22.920
How do you take a guy who's 23, 24 years old?

42:22.920 --> 42:27.920
And I'm not, there's 23, 24 that are mature, if they're raised right and they already have children

42:27.920 --> 42:31.920
and they're in church and they're ordained by a pastor who trained them,

42:31.920 --> 42:35.920
but some guy who went and lived the college life for four years and he comes to his home church

42:35.920 --> 42:41.920
and he's still single and then the pastor, instead of being serious about the Word of God, ordains him.

42:41.920 --> 42:46.920
And now you put this guy in a position of leadership to lead men, especially men,

42:46.920 --> 42:52.920
who have lived life, who have wives and children and maybe own businesses or leaders at their job

42:52.920 --> 42:56.920
and you got this young punk trying to tell them what to do,

42:56.920 --> 42:59.920
your church is just going to like not even respect the main guy.

42:59.920 --> 43:02.920
They're like, this is what he thinks that leadership is, right?

43:02.920 --> 43:07.920
Whereas, you know, even when I remember when I got ordained, a lot of you guys weren't here.

43:07.920 --> 43:14.920
I remember that there was this very, it was a small period, but there was a small transitionary period

43:14.920 --> 43:19.920
where I think some of the members that had been there for a while didn't really know how to act around me.

43:19.920 --> 43:24.920
But you know what? It didn't matter because the one thing is they knew who their pastor was

43:24.920 --> 43:30.920
and they respected him and they knew him and so just by proxy of the fact that they knew he wasn't just going to do something silly,

43:30.920 --> 43:35.920
then they were like, well, maybe I don't see it or I don't agree or whatever,

43:35.920 --> 43:37.920
because obviously they don't deal with me on a regular basis.

43:37.920 --> 43:42.920
They just trusted his leadership because it's not like he just willy-nilly did it, right?

43:42.920 --> 43:47.920
As a matter of fact, and I'm not saying, by the way, even from then I've matured

43:47.920 --> 43:51.920
and let me tell you that I don't think I'm the most mature. I still need more maturity.

43:51.920 --> 43:56.920
Just saying I have matured and even then it wasn't like I just got thrown in.

43:56.920 --> 44:00.920
I'd been serving for a long time behind the scenes. I'd been doing things.

44:00.920 --> 44:03.920
And then Pastor Cobb was the one that, and as a matter of fact, it was his decision.

44:03.920 --> 44:08.920
I remember that I didn't even know I was in the running to be ordained as a pastor of this church.

44:08.920 --> 44:12.920
Just one day he showed up and he's like, hey, I think you're ready to be ordained as a pastor.

44:12.920 --> 44:17.920
I was like, oh, okay, great. I didn't know.

44:17.920 --> 44:21.920
So, you know, it's not like it was just like some check, check, check, check and then, hey, are you going to?

44:21.920 --> 44:28.920
But at the same time, we had another guy who thought, hey, the pastor made me an evangelist,

44:28.920 --> 44:32.920
so now I'm ordained. And then he called up people. I remember that.

44:32.920 --> 44:36.920
And he called me up and he's like, hey, did Pastor Cobb ordain me or not?

44:36.920 --> 44:41.920
And I was like, no, I was like, because I know what ordination looks like because I've been ordained by Pastor Cobb.

44:41.920 --> 44:47.920
And he goes, well, I think he ordained me. And I called this other pastor and I told him that he needs to send me out to start a church.

44:47.920 --> 44:50.920
And he said he won't send me out because I'm not an ordained pastor.

44:50.920 --> 44:54.920
So he goes, I think your pastor is a liar. I said, well, I think you're just wrong.

44:54.920 --> 44:56.920
I said, I don't know. You're just jumping to conclusions.

44:56.920 --> 44:59.920
I was like, and he was trying to get me in the middle of it.

44:59.920 --> 45:03.920
And he goes, look, I know what an ordination looks like by this church.

45:03.920 --> 45:06.920
You're not ordained. I don't like that.

45:06.920 --> 45:10.920
I think you're you know, he led me astray. I was like, no, you just made up stuff.

45:10.920 --> 45:17.920
I don't know. And you know what? You're coming to find out years later that he got divorced and he just went off to the deep end and just all kinds of weird stuff

45:17.920 --> 45:20.920
because they just want to skip the timing of things.

45:20.920 --> 45:25.920
You know, people want to just jump in and not do things in God's timing and in his order.

45:25.920 --> 45:28.920
And then they wonder why life is the way that it is around them.

45:28.920 --> 45:31.920
Point number one is that God sets the times of worship.

45:31.920 --> 45:34.920
Everything is done in his season. It has to be done his way.

45:34.920 --> 45:37.920
He's in charge.

45:37.920 --> 45:43.920
Point number two is the representation of the lamb and the bread. Right.

45:43.920 --> 45:50.920
And the biggest representation here is that worship is continual or as we would say, perpetual.

45:50.920 --> 45:52.920
It's not occasional.

45:52.920 --> 45:56.920
And this is why we struggle so much in the flesh, because the reality is, you know,

45:56.920 --> 46:03.920
when you think about some of the verses in the Bible where you got some of the seraphim and the cherubim and they're worshiping God saying,

46:03.920 --> 46:07.920
Holy, holy, holy is our God Almighty.

46:07.920 --> 46:10.920
And it says perpetually everlasting.

46:10.920 --> 46:13.920
It's kind of hard to imagine that a being would just do that forever.

46:13.920 --> 46:17.920
But that is the vastness and greatness and onus of God. Right.

46:17.920 --> 46:20.920
Like this is the thing. So why would we be any less?

46:20.920 --> 46:23.920
Who are we to think that we're better than than anybody?

46:23.920 --> 46:28.920
We need to worship God as continuously as possible.

46:28.920 --> 46:31.920
Honestly, we were in the flesh.

46:31.920 --> 46:34.920
So we're never going to be 100 percent.

46:34.920 --> 46:37.920
But we should move as close to 100 percent as possible.

46:37.920 --> 46:40.920
That's I mean, that's the reality.

46:40.920 --> 46:42.920
You say that sounds crazy. Yeah.

46:42.920 --> 46:44.920
Only to the world, not to us.

46:44.920 --> 46:52.920
I mean, it's actually it's not crazy to think that God is an eternal being and we should just be grateful that he gave us life.

46:52.920 --> 46:55.920
Leviticus 24, go to Leviticus 24.

46:55.920 --> 47:02.920
Right there in verse two, the Bible says, command the children of Israel that they bring up unto the pure oil,

47:02.920 --> 47:07.920
oil olive beaten for the light to cause the lamp to burn continually.

47:07.920 --> 47:10.920
And there it is. Why? Because the Holy Spirit is perpetual.

47:10.920 --> 47:12.920
He is God. Right.

47:12.920 --> 47:18.920
Leviticus 24 verse five says, and thou shalt take fine flour and bake twelve cakes thereof.

47:18.920 --> 47:20.920
Two tenths deal shall be in one cake.

47:20.920 --> 47:24.920
And of course, the bread represents what the word of God man does not live by bread alone,

47:24.920 --> 47:27.920
but by every word that proceedeth out of the man of God.

47:27.920 --> 47:30.920
What did Jesus say? He says, I am the bread of life.

47:30.920 --> 47:33.920
Right. I'm the one that gives you eternal life.

47:33.920 --> 47:35.920
Go to Matthew seven. Go to Matthew seven.

47:35.920 --> 47:47.920
I think he's just. And here's the difference between what we do or what we should do and the rest of like Christianity does for us.

47:47.920 --> 47:52.920
For us, worship is a way of life. Right.

47:52.920 --> 47:54.920
We don't have to brag about it. We don't have to.

47:54.920 --> 47:56.920
We don't have to get anybody, you know, we're singing hymns here.

47:56.920 --> 48:03.920
By the way, if you did that, I wouldn't say anything, but nobody's raising their hands or closing their eyes or coming down kneeling here.

48:03.920 --> 48:07.920
You know, it's not an event. And I'm not picking on churches to do that.

48:07.920 --> 48:10.920
I'm just saying we're not doing it for outward things.

48:10.920 --> 48:13.920
We're doing it because we love the Lord. How do we worship the Lord?

48:13.920 --> 48:15.920
We just get in our closets and pray.

48:15.920 --> 48:25.920
We go soul winning when it's hot outside and it's uncomfortable and we're tired from the long week and our kids are acting up and, you know, maybe we didn't eat well.

48:25.920 --> 48:37.920
We just do it. The Bible says in Matthew seven, verse 33 says, but seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

48:37.920 --> 48:46.920
I love verse 34 says, take therefore no thought for the morrow for the morrow shall take thought for the things itself sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

48:46.920 --> 48:50.920
Why do we see God because sufficient of days the evil thereof.

48:50.920 --> 48:55.920
Seek ye first. The problem is we don't. Right.

48:55.920 --> 48:59.920
I have really good days where like the first thing I do is just like I'm on it.

48:59.920 --> 49:02.920
And then I have other bad days where I'm not on it right away.

49:02.920 --> 49:07.920
And then I have to read rewind, you know, step back and come back to the main thing.

49:07.920 --> 49:13.920
But the Bible says in Joshua one, it says I'll show meditate there in day and night.

49:13.920 --> 49:15.920
This book of the law should not depart from my mouth.

49:15.920 --> 49:17.920
But that's what meditate there.

49:17.920 --> 49:20.920
They're in day and night. Right.

49:20.920 --> 49:24.920
The Dalmatians observed to do according to all that is written therein.

49:24.920 --> 49:29.920
The Dalmatians observed to do according to all that is written therein.

49:29.920 --> 49:33.920
Not it's not a light thing.

49:33.920 --> 49:40.920
The people don't you know, this is probably every once in a while just feel like sometimes I just preach some of the most basic sermons.

49:40.920 --> 49:45.920
But you know, there's this there's this rule of business. It's called going back to the basics.

49:45.920 --> 49:49.920
You know, if you don't get the basics right, you're basically a loser.

49:49.920 --> 49:51.920
Right. People love to talk about Michael Jordan.

49:51.920 --> 49:55.920
And I guess he's kind of taking upwards again, you know, in basketball.

49:55.920 --> 50:00.920
I've been seeing a lot of people like talking about Michael Jordan, how he's the GOAT, you know, the greatest of all time.

50:00.920 --> 50:05.920
The one the clips that they're showing of him are the clips that talk about his mentality.

50:05.920 --> 50:08.920
You know, after every game, what would Michael Jordan do?

50:08.920 --> 50:10.920
He would go and shoot 10,000 shots.

50:10.920 --> 50:16.920
Everybody's going home and he's at the gym and he's the first one at the gym and he's the last one in the gym.

50:16.920 --> 50:20.920
And people are like, now the truth comes out kind of like Steve Jobs after he died.

50:21.920 --> 50:23.920
The truth is coming out about Michael Jordan.

50:23.920 --> 50:27.920
And they're like, he was the worst teammate to be with.

50:27.920 --> 50:32.920
He was a jerk. And he was they called him all, you know, I'm not using the terms they use.

50:32.920 --> 50:34.920
They're like, he was tough.

50:34.920 --> 50:39.920
And he goes, but you know what? We love playing with Michael Jordan because he was a winner.

50:39.920 --> 50:42.920
Right. Now, that's from a world's perspective.

50:42.920 --> 50:45.920
They're just throwing a ball into a hoop or getting paid millions of dollars.

50:45.920 --> 50:48.920
But, you know, with us, we need to take the same mentality.

50:48.920 --> 50:50.920
All we need to do is get back to the basics.

50:50.920 --> 50:52.920
Seek ye first the kingdom of God.

50:52.920 --> 51:00.920
You know, doing the ordinary extraordinarily well is what's going to secure our success in the Christian walk.

51:00.920 --> 51:04.920
You know, the young Christian, he wants to be seen of everybody.

51:04.920 --> 51:07.920
And, you know, look how good I'm doing with this and look at this great idea.

51:07.920 --> 51:11.920
The old Christian, he just knows that all he needs to do is just show up.

51:11.920 --> 51:15.920
He's like, God, I'm here. Put me to work.

51:15.920 --> 51:17.920
And what do I need to do? Just the basics.

51:17.920 --> 51:19.920
I don't need no fancy title.

51:19.920 --> 51:21.920
Don't give me any fancy work.

51:21.920 --> 51:24.920
Just give me boring work that gets the job done.

51:24.920 --> 51:27.920
You know, soul winning is boring work.

51:27.920 --> 51:31.920
If you remove all the excitement of getting a soul one, it's boring.

51:31.920 --> 51:40.920
How many times have you repeated the same gospel message week after week after week?

51:40.920 --> 51:42.920
But you know what? It's rewarding.

51:42.920 --> 51:45.920
I worked for Disney in 2000.

51:45.920 --> 51:47.920
I was a Jungle Cruise skipper.

51:47.920 --> 51:50.920
And I figured out the math.

51:50.920 --> 51:57.920
And I think I would say the spiel, like 60 to 120 times a shift.

51:57.920 --> 52:00.920
Right? So I had that thing down pat.

52:00.920 --> 52:06.920
I remember just going through it where my brain, my mouth was talking the spiel.

52:06.920 --> 52:10.920
But I had the ability to zone out and plan my week and my day.

52:10.920 --> 52:15.920
And then as I was coming towards the end of the spiel, I would come too.

52:15.920 --> 52:17.920
Almost like an auto body experience.

52:17.920 --> 52:19.920
And sometimes I would doubt myself.

52:19.920 --> 52:22.920
Did I go through all the motions? Did I say everything?

52:22.920 --> 52:24.920
But everybody loved it.

52:24.920 --> 52:27.920
But it was so automatic because you say it so much.

52:27.920 --> 52:29.920
Your brain already knows it.

52:29.920 --> 52:31.920
It's the same thing with soul winning.

52:31.920 --> 52:33.920
Hey, if you were to die today, are you 100% sure you're going to heaven?

52:33.920 --> 52:36.920
The first thing we need to understand is that you're a sinner.

52:36.920 --> 52:38.920
And there's a penalty for our sin.

52:38.920 --> 52:41.920
Because there's a penalty for our sin where you deserve to go to hell.

52:41.920 --> 52:43.920
You know all the verses.

52:43.920 --> 52:45.920
And we might not use the exact same verses, but you know them.

52:45.920 --> 52:46.920
Right?

52:46.920 --> 52:49.920
But you know the better thing is when I did that, I got a small paycheck.

52:49.920 --> 52:51.920
I got a cool experience.

52:51.920 --> 52:54.920
When I was young, it was cool to tell everybody that I worked at Disney.

52:54.920 --> 52:55.920
Then I got saved.

52:55.920 --> 52:58.920
And I was like, no, it's actually not that cool to work with a bunch of queers.

52:58.920 --> 53:00.920
It's rather embarrassing. Right?

53:00.920 --> 53:04.920
But now what's cool is no matter how many times I give the gospel,

53:04.920 --> 53:07.920
today when I got those five souls won, man, that's awesome.

53:07.920 --> 53:09.920
It was so great to see all those kids just come.

53:09.920 --> 53:11.920
And they were asking questions.

53:11.920 --> 53:12.920
And they were engaged.

53:12.920 --> 53:13.920
And they got it.

53:13.920 --> 53:16.920
And one kid was helping me like give the gospel to...

53:16.920 --> 53:19.920
He got saved and then he's clearing up the gospel to one of his friends.

53:19.920 --> 53:21.920
You know about eternal security.

53:21.920 --> 53:22.920
Amen.

53:22.920 --> 53:23.920
That's exciting.

53:23.920 --> 53:25.920
Is it worth all the boring?

53:25.920 --> 53:27.920
Over and over.

53:27.920 --> 53:28.920
Yeah, absolutely.

53:28.920 --> 53:30.920
And it only is boring if you have a bad attitude.

53:30.920 --> 53:32.920
But eventually it just becomes exciting.

53:32.920 --> 53:34.920
So let's go there.

53:34.920 --> 53:36.920
You know, let's go through Leviticus 24.

53:36.920 --> 53:40.920
The very first thing obviously is that our light should never go out.

53:40.920 --> 53:42.920
That's what the lamp represents.

53:42.920 --> 53:44.920
We are the light of the world.

53:44.920 --> 53:46.920
In Leviticus 24 verse 3, the Bible says,

53:46.920 --> 53:50.920
Without the veil of the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation

53:50.920 --> 53:55.920
shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the Lord continually.

53:55.920 --> 53:59.920
It shall be a statute forever in your generations.

53:59.920 --> 54:01.920
And this all lines up.

54:01.920 --> 54:03.920
That's the beautiful thing about the old and the new.

54:03.920 --> 54:06.920
Matthew 5, you don't have to turn there, but if Matthew 5 verse 14 says,

54:06.920 --> 54:09.920
Ye are the light of the world.

54:09.920 --> 54:12.920
A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.

54:12.920 --> 54:15.920
Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel,

54:15.920 --> 54:19.920
but on a candlestick, and giveth light unto all that are in the house.

54:19.920 --> 54:23.920
Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works

54:23.920 --> 54:26.920
and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

54:26.920 --> 54:28.920
Hey, just let it shine.

54:28.920 --> 54:30.920
And you think it doesn't make a difference?

54:30.920 --> 54:32.920
And you think it doesn't make a difference?

54:32.920 --> 54:35.920
It makes, God knows, right?

54:35.920 --> 54:39.920
The success we're experiencing in the last year and a half,

54:39.920 --> 54:45.920
we didn't experience for the first, I don't know, eight years of my ministry.

54:45.920 --> 54:46.920
But you know what?

54:46.920 --> 54:48.920
God knew there was a light here, and then he's like,

54:48.920 --> 54:50.920
I just need to send more kindling, right?

54:50.920 --> 54:51.920
The light shines.

54:51.920 --> 54:52.920
God knows.

54:52.920 --> 54:53.920
Don't give up where you're at.

54:53.920 --> 54:54.920
You know, I talk to people.

54:54.920 --> 54:56.920
That's why I'm doing the charter soul with you,

54:56.920 --> 54:58.920
because I talk to people all the time, and they're like,

54:58.920 --> 55:00.920
And they're like, well, I'm discouraged.

55:00.920 --> 55:02.920
You know, I'm getting on to them in other churches.

55:02.920 --> 55:04.920
I'm like, hey, are you going so well?

55:04.920 --> 55:08.920
I haven't been as much, because we can go for hours, and nobody gets saved.

55:08.920 --> 55:10.920
And they're like, well, you know, Isaiah 6 says,

55:10.920 --> 55:14.920
how long, Lord, till the streets be desolate and there be no more inhabitants?

55:14.920 --> 55:15.920
But it's still discouraging.

55:15.920 --> 55:19.920
And it made me think, dump them in here for a couple of days.

55:19.920 --> 55:22.920
Go get a bunch of souls wine, and then go back pumped up,

55:22.920 --> 55:25.920
but don't lose the light, right?

55:25.920 --> 55:26.920
Find it.

55:26.920 --> 55:29.920
Do whatever it takes to just keep that light going.

55:29.920 --> 55:30.920
And sometimes it's easy.

55:30.920 --> 55:35.920
Like today, the last couple of weeks, man, we've averaged about 10 souls an outing,

55:35.920 --> 55:37.920
which is huge.

55:37.920 --> 55:40.920
And I know it is, because other churches will go out with bigger numbers,

55:40.920 --> 55:43.920
and they might not even get close to the numbers we get.

55:43.920 --> 55:45.920
It's not that we have better soul winners, which, by the way,

55:45.920 --> 55:48.920
I'm not knocking on you guys, I'm just saying, soul winning is soul winning.

55:48.920 --> 55:51.920
Once you get it down, you know, some people might be a little bit better than others,

55:51.920 --> 55:53.920
but overall, it's the same thing.

55:53.920 --> 55:55.920
The advantage is that we're in a very receptive area.

55:55.920 --> 55:57.920
We need to let that light shine.

55:57.920 --> 56:01.920
So Philippians, you're there in Leviticus, but in Philippians 2, verse 14,

56:01.920 --> 56:02.920
the Bible says,

56:24.920 --> 56:29.920
And it's true, as a pastor, like I can relate to Paul here.

56:29.920 --> 56:34.920
I don't want just like my work to be seen, I want our work to be seen, right?

56:34.920 --> 56:38.920
And I want to know that I put all this effort, and then one day I'll die,

56:38.920 --> 56:42.920
and I just left a good legacy, and the legacy was the legacy of Christ.

56:42.920 --> 56:47.920
That people are doing things because I was doing things for Christ, not because of me, right?

56:47.920 --> 56:50.920
I don't want you to come to church because you think Joel Olson is cool.

56:51.920 --> 56:54.920
By the way, I don't know if you guys got this, but I hate Joel Olson.

56:54.920 --> 56:56.920
That guy's the worst.

56:56.920 --> 56:58.920
I was watching that interview.

56:58.920 --> 57:02.920
He never answered, you know what's the most frustrating thing is he never answers a question.

57:02.920 --> 57:06.920
They'll ask him something, and he just always gives you all of those words.

57:06.920 --> 57:10.920
It's like word salad, and he never gives you a direct answer to anything.

57:10.920 --> 57:12.920
They're like, you think people go to heaven?

57:12.920 --> 57:15.920
Well, Paul, you know, I think that...

57:15.920 --> 57:17.920
You're the worst.

57:17.920 --> 57:21.920
Go to Leviticus 24 when talking about the bread, right?

57:21.920 --> 57:24.920
It says there on verse 7, it says,

57:24.920 --> 57:25.920
It says,

57:44.920 --> 57:47.920
And all these things are basically what represent the perpetuity,

57:47.920 --> 57:51.920
the eternal Godship or Godhead, right?

57:51.920 --> 57:54.920
That God's been here from eternity to eternity.

57:54.920 --> 57:57.920
And so we see in John 6, you don't have to turn in there for the sake of time,

57:57.920 --> 58:00.920
but in John 6 verse 33, the Bible says,

58:00.920 --> 58:01.920
The Bible says,

58:19.920 --> 58:22.920
You know, what's interesting is you get that piece.

58:22.920 --> 58:24.920
The world doesn't get when we say these things.

58:24.920 --> 58:26.920
That's why it's so important to be around like-minded believers,

58:26.920 --> 58:28.920
because you could say stuff and they just look at you.

58:28.920 --> 58:31.920
They're like, dude, you're weird.

58:31.920 --> 58:33.920
When you talk to other believers, they get it,

58:33.920 --> 58:38.920
because there is something supernatural about just being at peace

58:38.920 --> 58:43.920
in a lost and crooked and perverse nation and world.

58:43.920 --> 58:45.920
In Matthew 4 verse 4, the Bible says,

58:54.920 --> 58:56.920
Right? I mean, you need to learn, and as a matter of fact,

58:56.920 --> 58:57.920
that's probably what I need to do,

58:57.920 --> 59:02.920
but you need to learn to realize that food is fuel.

59:02.920 --> 59:04.920
And you say, why are you saying that?

59:04.920 --> 59:08.920
Look, the world is obsessed with food.

59:08.920 --> 59:11.920
There's literally entire channels dedicated to people eating.

59:11.920 --> 59:14.920
Who's seeing these channels with these Asian guys

59:14.920 --> 59:18.920
that'll serve these big plates just so that someone can watch them eat?

59:18.920 --> 59:19.920
I think it's wild.

59:19.920 --> 59:21.920
First of all, why would you eat that much?

59:21.920 --> 59:23.920
Who's ever seen that where they'll like take 12 eggs and they're like,

59:23.920 --> 59:26.920
And then they're eating all the ramen and then they're getting all these views.

59:26.920 --> 59:28.920
I'm like, why are you doing that?

59:28.920 --> 59:30.920
And then you got the opposite.

59:30.920 --> 59:34.920
I mean, there's literally this Mexican guy that pops up on one of my feeds

59:34.920 --> 59:37.920
and he goes around and he's, I guess he's making a lot of money.

59:37.920 --> 59:39.920
He's got millions of subscribers.

59:39.920 --> 59:43.920
All he does is go throughout the entire world

59:43.920 --> 59:45.920
and he eats at like the most fancy restaurants

59:45.920 --> 59:51.920
and he eats the most like decadent food in the world,

59:52.920 --> 59:56.920
just steaks and caviar.

59:56.920 --> 01:00:00.920
He came here and he went to all the best like brisket places.

01:00:00.920 --> 01:00:04.920
I'm all for having good steak or anything, but that's his whole life.

01:00:04.920 --> 01:00:05.920
You know what?

01:00:05.920 --> 01:00:08.920
I have a feeling that he probably doesn't enjoy it as much as he does.

01:00:08.920 --> 01:00:10.920
Because too much of a good thing is still too much.

01:00:10.920 --> 01:00:12.920
Just like too much of a bad thing.

01:00:12.920 --> 01:00:14.920
Every once in a while, you know what I crave?

01:00:14.920 --> 01:00:15.920
Rice and tuna.

01:00:15.920 --> 01:00:17.920
That's one of the best meals.

01:00:17.920 --> 01:00:20.920
But the one thing is we need to not focus on that.

01:00:20.920 --> 01:00:24.920
We need to look at it as fuel for the fact that we live by the word of God.

01:00:24.920 --> 01:00:28.920
And we really do need to have a mentality where we need to start

01:00:28.920 --> 01:00:32.920
kind of almost looking at some of the things as just fuel

01:00:32.920 --> 01:00:34.920
or necessities for getting the job done.

01:00:34.920 --> 01:00:38.920
Because if not, we just obsess over it and it becomes our life.

01:00:38.920 --> 01:00:41.920
I mean, literally there's terms like I'm a foodie.

01:00:41.920 --> 01:00:42.920
Who's ever heard that?

01:00:42.920 --> 01:00:44.920
Oh, I'm such a foodie.

01:00:44.920 --> 01:00:47.920
I just love eating great food and blah, blah, blah.

01:00:47.920 --> 01:00:48.920
Like, we'll calm down.

01:00:48.920 --> 01:00:51.920
And they take it real serious and they buy the best salt

01:00:51.920 --> 01:00:53.920
and they buy the best coffee.

01:00:53.920 --> 01:00:54.920
You know what I mean?

01:00:54.920 --> 01:00:55.920
It's easy to get caught up.

01:00:55.920 --> 01:00:56.920
Like, I see these videos.

01:00:56.920 --> 01:00:58.920
I'm like, man, that coffee looks delicious.

01:00:58.920 --> 01:01:00.920
I'm going to, I told my wife the other day,

01:01:00.920 --> 01:01:02.920
I'm going to go buy me one of those machines.

01:01:02.920 --> 01:01:03.920
And it goes through the little loop.

01:01:03.920 --> 01:01:05.920
And it looks like a science experiment.

01:01:05.920 --> 01:01:06.920
And I was like, where am I going?

01:01:06.920 --> 01:01:07.920
Like, move on.

01:01:07.920 --> 01:01:11.920
But you know, because it draws you because they want to make it more important

01:01:11.920 --> 01:01:13.920
than actually the things of God.

01:01:13.920 --> 01:01:15.920
Go to Hebrews 13.

01:01:15.920 --> 01:01:16.920
Go to Hebrews 13 real quick.

01:01:16.920 --> 01:01:21.920
The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 517, pray without ceasing.

01:01:21.920 --> 01:01:22.920
Right?

01:01:22.920 --> 01:01:24.920
We want to have this continual worship.

01:01:24.920 --> 01:01:25.920
That's what it represents.

01:01:25.920 --> 01:01:27.920
It's never ending.

01:01:27.920 --> 01:01:31.920
In the New Testament, it's the spiritual that represents this, right?

01:01:31.920 --> 01:01:33.920
Our sacrifice is us.

01:01:33.920 --> 01:01:35.920
We are the temple of God.

01:01:35.920 --> 01:01:38.920
In Hebrews 13, right there in verse 15, the Bible says,

01:01:38.920 --> 01:01:45.920
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually.

01:01:45.920 --> 01:01:51.920
That is the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

01:01:51.920 --> 01:01:57.920
You say, pastor, that's a really simple verse.

01:01:57.920 --> 01:02:00.920
Yeah, but it's a very necessary verse.

01:02:00.920 --> 01:02:04.920
Most people are not thankful of anything.

01:02:04.920 --> 01:02:09.920
We live in the greatest country in the world, and I guarantee you it would take us 10 minutes

01:02:09.920 --> 01:02:13.920
to find someone to gripe about something here in the US.

01:02:13.920 --> 01:02:16.920
You ever meet those people that are like on food stamps,

01:02:16.920 --> 01:02:19.920
and you know, they got the cell phone from the government,

01:02:19.920 --> 01:02:21.920
and they got the apartment from the government,

01:02:21.920 --> 01:02:26.920
and then somehow you're like in line with them, and they complain about something.

01:02:26.920 --> 01:02:28.920
It's like, bro, you got everything for free.

01:02:28.920 --> 01:02:30.920
What are you complaining about?

01:02:30.920 --> 01:02:31.920
Right?

01:02:31.920 --> 01:02:35.920
But because they didn't earn it, they didn't do anything to do it,

01:02:35.920 --> 01:02:36.920
it's the same thing.

01:02:36.920 --> 01:02:42.920
Instead of looking at Jesus and the Bible and being thankful for the salvation that he's given you,

01:02:42.920 --> 01:02:44.920
you find something to gripe about.

01:02:44.920 --> 01:02:45.920
You know why?

01:02:45.920 --> 01:02:46.920
Because you're making it about you.

01:02:46.920 --> 01:02:47.920
Right?

01:02:47.920 --> 01:02:51.920
I could tell someone's doctrine just by the way that they're acting.

01:02:51.920 --> 01:02:55.920
I'm talking in church, of course, those people we lead to Christ that never show up to church,

01:02:55.920 --> 01:02:58.920
but there's no way for them to grow and for us to compare.

01:02:58.920 --> 01:03:01.920
But if people are going to church regularly, and we're going to church regularly,

01:03:01.920 --> 01:03:05.920
and they're unthankful about something, they're not focused on the gospel.

01:03:05.920 --> 01:03:06.920
Because here he's very clear, he says,

01:03:06.920 --> 01:03:13.920
by him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually.

01:03:13.920 --> 01:03:18.920
That is the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

01:03:18.920 --> 01:03:20.920
You know, I'm so grateful to the Lord.

01:03:20.920 --> 01:03:22.920
You need to be grateful to the Lord.

01:03:22.920 --> 01:03:25.920
You need to get an attitude of gratitude.

01:03:25.920 --> 01:03:29.920
I mean, you need to get into that mindset that you need to be grateful for everything that the Lord's given you.

01:03:29.920 --> 01:03:34.920
Hey, if you're here in church today, be grateful that you're here in church today.

01:03:34.920 --> 01:03:35.920
You're like, well, I don't know.

01:03:35.920 --> 01:03:39.920
I wish I was at the big church, faithful work.

01:03:39.920 --> 01:03:42.920
No, just be grateful you're where you are.

01:03:42.920 --> 01:03:47.920
And if God means it to you to move to a bigger church, he'll make it happen.

01:03:47.920 --> 01:03:49.920
You know, and why you say why you use that church?

01:03:49.920 --> 01:03:51.920
Well, that's like the big church in our movement, right?

01:03:51.920 --> 01:03:54.920
Like that's the one that we would be grateful for.

01:03:54.920 --> 01:03:56.920
That's the one that we would.

01:03:56.920 --> 01:04:01.920
And people would say, yeah, you know, I would just be grateful you're at a church that preaches the word of God.

01:04:01.920 --> 01:04:06.920
You know how many cities and people I talk to, they're like, they're like, I just wish I was at a good church.

01:04:06.920 --> 01:04:08.920
The church I go to, they're OK.

01:04:08.920 --> 01:04:09.920
They're right on the gospel.

01:04:09.920 --> 01:04:11.920
But every other doctrine sucks.

01:04:11.920 --> 01:04:13.920
Every other sermon is about the Jews.

01:04:13.920 --> 01:04:18.920
I mean, I listen to this stuff on a regular basis just all the time.

01:04:18.920 --> 01:04:29.920
In Colossians 3 verse 16, the Bible says, Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

01:04:29.920 --> 01:04:39.920
And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and Father and the Father by him.

01:04:39.920 --> 01:04:43.920
You know, I remember when I first first of all, when I first started traveling.

01:04:43.920 --> 01:04:50.920
Like in 2018, I'd been ordained for a couple of years, but I was just kind of Pastor Cobb's right hand guy.

01:04:50.920 --> 01:04:52.920
And I didn't have to.

01:04:52.920 --> 01:04:53.920
He never asked me to.

01:04:53.920 --> 01:04:55.920
There's no written rule.

01:04:55.920 --> 01:04:57.920
I didn't have to tell him what I was doing on my time.

01:04:57.920 --> 01:04:58.920
He's never like called me.

01:04:58.920 --> 01:04:59.920
He's like, Hey, what are you doing?

01:04:59.920 --> 01:05:00.920
Were you going on vacation?

01:05:00.920 --> 01:05:01.920
I don't like that.

01:05:01.920 --> 01:05:01.920

01:05:01.920 --> 01:05:02.920
I come up to the pastor.

01:05:02.920 --> 01:05:08.920
I'm like, Hey, pastor, I'm going to this conference and it's with this group of guys and they believe this stuff.

01:05:08.920 --> 01:05:12.920
And he was like, Yeah, I've heard of them or I follow them or I've seen them on YouTube or whatever.

01:05:12.920 --> 01:05:17.920
And then I would fly to these conferences and they're like, Hey, what church do you go to?

01:05:17.920 --> 01:05:23.920
They're thinking, you know, because of all our alignment, they think maybe it sounds like I might be in one of these new IFB churches.

01:05:23.920 --> 01:05:29.920
And what I mean by that is like the faithful word or steadfast or, you know, some of the other churches at Tem.

01:05:29.920 --> 01:05:33.920
I was like, No, I go to Springcrest in Houston.

01:05:33.920 --> 01:05:34.920
I never heard of it.

01:05:34.920 --> 01:05:35.920
You know, we're in Houston.

01:05:35.920 --> 01:05:36.920
We're there.

01:05:36.920 --> 01:05:37.920
Who's the pastor?

01:05:37.920 --> 01:05:40.920
I was like, Well, I'm an ordained pastor, but I'm kind of technically like the assistant pastor.

01:05:41.920 --> 01:05:44.920
We don't really have a title at our church, but that's really my role.

01:05:44.920 --> 01:05:45.920
The pastor's pastor cop.

01:05:45.920 --> 01:05:47.920
I'd be like, And does your pastor know you're here?

01:05:47.920 --> 01:05:49.920
I was like, Yeah, he knows I'm here.

01:05:49.920 --> 01:05:50.920
They'd be shocked.

01:05:50.920 --> 01:05:52.920
It's funny because I always thought it was weird.

01:05:52.920 --> 01:05:54.920
They're like, They know your pastor knows you.

01:05:54.920 --> 01:05:56.920
And they're like, What does he think about all of it?

01:05:56.920 --> 01:05:57.920
I was like, I don't know.

01:05:57.920 --> 01:05:58.920
I mean, he's fine with it.

01:05:58.920 --> 01:05:59.920
He gets biblical.

01:05:59.920 --> 01:06:00.920
Like I don't.

01:06:00.920 --> 01:06:01.920
They're like, You're serious?

01:06:01.920 --> 01:06:03.920
Your pastor's not mad at you for coming here?

01:06:03.920 --> 01:06:06.920
I was like, No, my pastor thinks it's great.

01:06:06.920 --> 01:06:08.920
Like because it's the Bible.

01:06:08.920 --> 01:06:09.920
These guys are in the battle.

01:06:09.920 --> 01:06:12.920
The Bible says, Yeah, and all they live in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

01:06:14.920 --> 01:06:17.920
They're like, So your pastor's never told you anything about you just go into these trips.

01:06:17.920 --> 01:06:21.920
I was like, No, I was like, I have a great relationship with our pastor.

01:06:21.920 --> 01:06:23.920
Like he's my friend.

01:06:23.920 --> 01:06:24.920
We get along.

01:06:26.920 --> 01:06:27.920
I don't know.

01:06:27.920 --> 01:06:28.920
He's old school.

01:06:28.920 --> 01:06:29.920
Right.

01:06:29.920 --> 01:06:37.920
The reason that they were saying that is because in their churches, their pastors were actually like saying, Hey, you need to not go to these churches.

01:06:37.920 --> 01:06:42.920
You need to not listen to this online preacher and you need to not believe this doctor.

01:06:42.920 --> 01:06:43.920
And you need to.

01:06:43.920 --> 01:06:45.920
Pastor Cobb's never done that.

01:06:45.920 --> 01:06:51.920
And by the way, I'm 100% sure we've had very few conversations that we don't agree 100% on everything.

01:06:51.920 --> 01:06:53.920
But on the main stuff, we agree.

01:06:54.920 --> 01:06:56.920
And that's the differentiator.

01:06:56.920 --> 01:06:57.920
Like, you know, I can.

01:06:57.920 --> 01:06:59.920
I'm so grateful to pastor.

01:06:59.920 --> 01:07:01.920
By the way, Pastor, you're here, but I'm so grateful to Pastor Copper.

01:07:01.920 --> 01:07:06.920
Just the way that he he led because it's always been by the word of God.

01:07:06.920 --> 01:07:07.920
Right.

01:07:07.920 --> 01:07:08.920
That's why he's my friend.

01:07:08.920 --> 01:07:09.920
You know, that's why I enjoy.

01:07:09.920 --> 01:07:12.920
He's not just my pastor, but he's also my friend.

01:07:12.920 --> 01:07:14.920
I mean, to be honest with you, he's like a father figure to me.

01:07:14.920 --> 01:07:19.920
You know, I'm super grateful that the Lord led me here and that it worked out the way it did.

01:07:19.920 --> 01:07:21.920
But you got to get it.

01:07:21.920 --> 01:07:23.920
You got to get lined up in the right type of worship.

01:07:23.920 --> 01:07:26.920
You know, the worship is always more important when it's God's work.

01:07:27.920 --> 01:07:28.920
Let me let me close this thing out.

01:07:28.920 --> 01:07:29.920
Point number three.

01:07:29.920 --> 01:07:32.920
So point number one, God sets the times of worship.

01:07:32.920 --> 01:07:33.920
He is in charge.

01:07:33.920 --> 01:07:34.920
Right.

01:07:34.920 --> 01:07:36.920
Worship is continual.

01:07:36.920 --> 01:07:38.920
It's not just like whatever you think it should happen.

01:07:38.920 --> 01:07:39.920
You know why?

01:07:39.920 --> 01:07:40.920
Because God's in charge.

01:07:40.920 --> 01:07:46.920
And point number three is that blasphemy will get justice.

01:07:46.920 --> 01:07:47.920
Right.

01:07:47.920 --> 01:07:53.920
There's blasphemy and then there's justice from God because God's name is holy because God is in charge.

01:07:53.920 --> 01:07:56.920
You know, when I my kids are like, why can't we do this?

01:07:56.920 --> 01:07:57.920
You know why?

01:07:57.920 --> 01:07:58.920
Because daddy said so.

01:07:58.920 --> 01:08:00.920
That's all you need to know.

01:08:00.920 --> 01:08:02.920
Well, but but nothing.

01:08:02.920 --> 01:08:03.920
Nothing at all.

01:08:03.920 --> 01:08:04.920
Right.

01:08:04.920 --> 01:08:06.920
Why do we do things that this church the way we do?

01:08:06.920 --> 01:08:08.920
Because God said so.

01:08:08.920 --> 01:08:10.920
Not because Pastor Ray said so because God said so.

01:08:10.920 --> 01:08:11.920
Right.

01:08:11.920 --> 01:08:17.920
I mean, obviously we have some rules that I implement because obviously God's not even even God's not a micromanager.

01:08:17.920 --> 01:08:19.920
He's like you handle the things that you talk about.

01:08:19.920 --> 01:08:21.920
That's why I give you guys these rules and stuff like that.

01:08:21.920 --> 01:08:28.920
But at the end of the day, I try in my best to give you rules that are based on how God would execute.

01:08:28.920 --> 01:08:29.920
That doesn't mean I'm perfect.

01:08:29.920 --> 01:08:30.920
I'm just telling you that's why I do it.

01:08:30.920 --> 01:08:32.920
Leviticus 24 right there in verse 16.

01:08:32.920 --> 01:08:43.920
The Bible says, and he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, he shall surely be put to death and all the great congregations should certainly stone him as well as the stranger as he that is born in the land.

01:08:43.920 --> 01:08:46.920
When he blasphemeth the name of the Lord shall be put to death.

01:08:46.920 --> 01:08:48.920
And we go there.

01:08:48.920 --> 01:08:53.920
We in verse 11, we see this story kind of get interjected in all these rules.

01:08:53.920 --> 01:08:56.920
But the purpose of it is to show us how serious God is about this thing.

01:08:56.920 --> 01:08:58.920
Right.

01:08:58.920 --> 01:09:04.920
It says in verse 11, it says in the Israelite ish woman, woman's son blaspheme the name of the Lord.

01:09:04.920 --> 01:09:06.920
We have no context when this starts.

01:09:06.920 --> 01:09:06.920

01:09:06.920 --> 01:09:12.920
It just says, Hey, this Israelite ish woman's son blaspheme the name of the Lord and curse.

01:09:12.920 --> 01:09:15.920
And they brought him unto Moses and his mother's name.

01:09:15.920 --> 01:09:16.920
And now we get the context.

01:09:16.920 --> 01:09:20.920
His mother's name was Shelah myth, the daughter of debris of the tribe of Dan.

01:09:20.920 --> 01:09:23.920
And they put him in the ward that the mind of the Lord might be showed to them.

01:09:23.920 --> 01:09:28.920
And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Bring forth him that cursed without the camp.

01:09:28.920 --> 01:09:31.920
And let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head.

01:09:31.920 --> 01:09:33.920
And let all the congregations stone him.

01:09:33.920 --> 01:09:38.920
And thou shall speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.

01:09:38.920 --> 01:09:43.920
And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, he shall surely be put to death.

01:09:43.920 --> 01:09:47.920
And all the congregation should surely stone him.

01:09:47.920 --> 01:09:50.920
And as well as the stranger as he that is born in the land.

01:09:50.920 --> 01:09:53.920
When he blasphemeth the name of the Lord shall be put to death.

01:09:53.920 --> 01:09:59.920
You know, it's more egregious to blaspheme the name of the Lord than to be an illegal immigrant.

01:09:59.920 --> 01:10:01.920
Or a migrant, because a stranger is what?

01:10:01.920 --> 01:10:02.920
A migrant.

01:10:02.920 --> 01:10:03.920
It's more egregious.

01:10:03.920 --> 01:10:06.920
You know, our country loves to fight about all the stupid things.

01:10:06.920 --> 01:10:07.920
You know what they should be fighting about?

01:10:07.920 --> 01:10:10.920
The fact that God's name is taken in vain.

01:10:10.920 --> 01:10:13.920
It's not a light thing to take God's name in vain.

01:10:13.920 --> 01:10:16.920
The consequence is death.

01:10:16.920 --> 01:10:20.920
Exodus 20 verse 7 says, Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.

01:10:20.920 --> 01:10:25.920
For the Lord will not hold him guiltless to take his name in vain.

01:10:25.920 --> 01:10:31.920
In Psalm 11, I mean 1-11 verse 9, the Bible says, He sent redemption unto his people.

01:10:31.920 --> 01:10:33.920
He hath commanded his covenant forever.

01:10:33.920 --> 01:10:37.920
Holy and reverend is his name.

01:10:37.920 --> 01:10:40.920
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

01:10:40.920 --> 01:10:43.920
A good understanding have they all that do his commandments.

01:10:43.920 --> 01:10:47.920
His praise endureth forever.

01:10:47.920 --> 01:10:49.920
It's a serious thing.

01:10:49.920 --> 01:10:51.920
You know, people just use it all the time.

01:10:51.920 --> 01:10:54.920
I don't even want to give examples, but you know what I'm talking about.

01:10:54.920 --> 01:10:59.920
In movies, in politics, in day to day.

01:10:59.920 --> 01:11:00.920
You know, people know who you are.

01:11:00.920 --> 01:11:06.920
I never, never, and I say this never as in like maybe a decade ago when I just,

01:11:06.920 --> 01:11:08.920
the more you read your Bible, I don't do this.

01:11:08.920 --> 01:11:11.920
I don't go around telling everybody I'm a Christian.

01:11:11.920 --> 01:11:13.920
You know, I just live my life.

01:11:13.920 --> 01:11:16.920
The Bible says to be wise as serpents and gentle as doves, right?

01:11:16.920 --> 01:11:20.920
But people know, and it's funny, every once in a while somebody will come,

01:11:20.920 --> 01:11:22.920
and I just hired this guy that I had hired many years ago,

01:11:22.920 --> 01:11:26.920
and I got him a job with another one of my clients in sales.

01:11:26.920 --> 01:11:29.920
We were on a phone call, and I'm going through some of the training.

01:11:29.920 --> 01:11:32.920
He's like, he uses Jesus Christ's name in vain.

01:11:32.920 --> 01:11:35.920
And immediately he's like, oh, I'm sorry, Enrique.

01:11:35.920 --> 01:11:36.920
He knew.

01:11:36.920 --> 01:11:38.920
I didn't get mad at him.

01:11:38.920 --> 01:11:42.920
You know, it just makes me a little, he's his own person, but you know what?

01:11:42.920 --> 01:11:44.920
He knows.

01:11:44.920 --> 01:11:46.920
But we don't have to correct anybody.

01:11:46.920 --> 01:11:51.920
We just got to hold strong to the truth that we know about God.

01:11:51.920 --> 01:11:56.920
Leviticus 24, right there, I got five more minutes, and we'll close this thing out.

01:11:56.920 --> 01:11:59.920
But there in Leviticus 24 verse 23, the Bible says,

01:11:59.920 --> 01:12:02.920
And Moses spake to the children of Israel, that they should bring forth him

01:12:02.920 --> 01:12:05.920
that I cursed out of the camp and stoned him with stones,

01:12:05.920 --> 01:12:09.920
and the children of Israel did, as the Lord commanded Moses.

01:12:09.920 --> 01:12:11.920
Hey, what was the judgment for the blasphemy?

01:12:11.920 --> 01:12:14.920
Number one, God didn't ignore it.

01:12:14.920 --> 01:12:17.920
Number two, he was judged.

01:12:17.920 --> 01:12:18.920
We know the verse is right.

01:12:18.920 --> 01:12:19.920
Be not deceived.

01:12:19.920 --> 01:12:20.920
God is not mocked.

01:12:20.920 --> 01:12:23.920
For whatsoever man soweth, that shall he also reap.

01:12:23.920 --> 01:12:26.920
For he that soweth this flesh of the flesh reap corruption,

01:12:26.920 --> 01:12:32.920
but he that soweth to the spirit shall reap life everlasting.

01:12:32.920 --> 01:12:40.920
The Bible says in Hebrews 1031, it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

01:12:40.920 --> 01:12:43.920
It's scary to think about that stuff.

01:12:43.920 --> 01:12:47.920
You know, I've brought those examples up before, that God has got that weird disease.

01:12:47.920 --> 01:12:52.920
He went after the men of God, and it's true he did go after the men of God,

01:12:52.920 --> 01:12:55.920
but really he went after God.

01:12:55.920 --> 01:12:58.920
You know what? God's taking him out.

01:12:58.920 --> 01:13:02.920
I mean, I could just go on story after story after story.

01:13:02.920 --> 01:13:05.920
You know, people say, oh, well, look, look what happened to Roger Jimenez

01:13:05.920 --> 01:13:08.920
because he went after Pastor Anderson.

01:13:08.920 --> 01:13:15.920
And I agree that it was that really, who did he go after? God.

01:13:15.920 --> 01:13:20.920
Because if the world hates you, remember, it doesn't hate you, it hates me.

01:13:20.920 --> 01:13:23.920
And I'm not downplaying, by the way, those individuals.

01:13:23.920 --> 01:13:29.920
I'm just saying ultimately, and they would agree that the attack is on the Word of God.

01:13:29.920 --> 01:13:35.920
Now they'll just, what is it, they'll manifest it and direct it to one specific person,

01:13:35.920 --> 01:13:40.920
the one that's standing on the Word of God, and so they get the vengence taken care of.

01:13:40.920 --> 01:13:42.920
You know, they get the protection and the vengence,

01:13:42.920 --> 01:13:45.920
but the Lord's the one that's dealing with this.

01:13:45.920 --> 01:13:47.920
In Matthew 12 verse 35, the Bible says,

01:14:05.920 --> 01:14:10.920
And by the way, that verse, you know, there's a group of guys recently who are like,

01:14:10.920 --> 01:14:13.920
Hey, you don't need to call upon the name of the Lord to be saved.

01:14:13.920 --> 01:14:16.920
Well, the Bible says, by thy words, you should be justified.

01:14:16.920 --> 01:14:21.920
It's kind of hard to get justified if you didn't say anything, right?

01:14:21.920 --> 01:14:23.920
How, you know, how else?

01:14:23.920 --> 01:14:24.920
And you say, what about a mute?

01:14:24.920 --> 01:14:26.920
Because, you know, people will throw out the weirdest.

01:14:26.920 --> 01:14:29.920
Well, the Lord knows that they're speaking somewhere.

01:14:29.920 --> 01:14:32.920
And by the way, even youths can, you know, they learn to sign language

01:14:32.920 --> 01:14:35.920
and they're actually sometimes louder than most people.

01:14:35.920 --> 01:14:38.920
Have you ever talked to someone who they're very like emphatic?

01:14:38.920 --> 01:14:40.920
You know what they're thinking, right?

01:14:40.920 --> 01:14:44.920
If they're kind of doing some, some signs, you're like, Oh, that guy's mad at me.

01:14:44.920 --> 01:14:47.920
And they might be doing some other signs.

01:14:47.920 --> 01:14:50.920
They might not be, but go to Romans two and we'll close with this.

01:14:50.920 --> 01:14:52.920
I got three minutes. We'll close there.

01:14:52.920 --> 01:14:58.920
Look, by the way, leading up to the anti-Israel conference, you know who blasphemes God?

01:14:58.920 --> 01:15:01.920
The Jews, the modern day Jews.

01:15:01.920 --> 01:15:05.920
And the Bible actually explicitly tells us that if you go to Romans two,

01:15:05.920 --> 01:15:07.920
the Bible says in verse 17, it says,

01:15:35.920 --> 01:15:39.920
which has the form of knowledge and of the truth and the law,

01:15:39.920 --> 01:15:43.920
thou therefore which teacheth another teacheth not thou thyself,

01:15:43.920 --> 01:15:48.920
thou preachest a man should not steal, doth thou steal?

01:15:48.920 --> 01:15:50.920
Thou sayest a man should not commit adultery,

01:15:50.920 --> 01:15:54.920
dost thou commit adultery, that thou abhorrest idols,

01:15:54.920 --> 01:15:57.920
dost thou commit sacrilege,

01:15:57.920 --> 01:16:02.920
thou makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonest thou God,

01:16:02.920 --> 01:16:08.920
for the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you as it is written.

01:16:08.920 --> 01:16:12.920
You know, it's blasphemed to the Gentiles through these guys.

01:16:12.920 --> 01:16:13.920
And it's so true, right?

01:16:13.920 --> 01:16:16.920
Because you got, who was it that was reading?

01:16:16.920 --> 01:16:22.920
I think it was Matt who was reading an article about Matt Huck, I mean, sorry, Huckabee.

01:16:22.920 --> 01:16:26.920
What's his first name? I forget. Huh? Mike Huckabee.

01:16:26.920 --> 01:16:30.920
And now he's like basically the sounding piece for the Jews.

01:16:30.920 --> 01:16:33.920
You know what it makes? It makes the Baptist look mad.

01:16:33.920 --> 01:16:37.920
It's like I thought you guys were on Jesus' team.

01:16:37.920 --> 01:16:39.920
No, we're on the Jew team.

01:16:39.920 --> 01:16:44.920
Which team is more important, Jesus or the Jews?

01:16:44.920 --> 01:16:53.920
Jesus. I mean, is this God just like this, I don't know,

01:16:53.920 --> 01:17:00.920
just like this big, hard to grasp entity called God more important?

01:17:00.920 --> 01:17:05.920
Or is God of the Bible, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, the Trinity,

01:17:05.920 --> 01:17:08.920
three persons and one more important?

01:17:08.920 --> 01:17:10.920
The Trinity, the Bible says.

01:17:10.920 --> 01:17:13.920
Oh, the word Trinity is not in the Bible. Yeah, I know, but try just means three.

01:17:13.920 --> 01:17:17.920
Just calm down. Calm down.

01:17:17.920 --> 01:17:21.920
We know it's math. That's all it is.

01:17:21.920 --> 01:17:27.920
But you know, it's very clear that we need to have a clear vision of God.

01:17:27.920 --> 01:17:30.920
We need to be in His time. We need to do His worship.

01:17:30.920 --> 01:17:34.920
At the end of the day, you know what we need to realize? God is in charge.

01:17:34.920 --> 01:17:37.920
2 Timothy 2, 19, you know, if you turn this to our close out,

01:17:37.920 --> 01:17:42.920
the Bible says, Nevertheless, the foundation of God standeth sure,

01:17:42.920 --> 01:17:46.920
having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are His,

01:17:46.920 --> 01:17:51.920
and let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

01:17:51.920 --> 01:17:57.920
You know, the way we talk, what we do, proves who we are as Christians.

01:17:57.920 --> 01:18:00.920
Getting saved is just the first part.

01:18:00.920 --> 01:18:04.920
But if you really want to serve the Lord, then we need to be a little radical

01:18:04.920 --> 01:18:10.920
and dogmatic, a little bit separated and sanctified.

01:18:10.920 --> 01:18:12.920
Hey, I'm a legalist.

01:18:12.920 --> 01:18:15.920
You'll say, oh, that's a bad word.

01:18:15.920 --> 01:18:18.920
Well, that's if I had you follow all my rules.

01:18:18.920 --> 01:18:20.920
But if I'm telling you to follow God's rules,

01:18:20.920 --> 01:18:23.920
and by the way, I'm so legalistic that I'll tell you what,

01:18:23.920 --> 01:18:25.920
you need to follow God's rules, but I'm not enforcing them.

01:18:25.920 --> 01:18:27.920
I'll let you deal with God.

01:18:27.920 --> 01:18:29.920
That's how legalistic I am.

01:18:29.920 --> 01:18:31.920
But I will pray the right things.

01:18:31.920 --> 01:18:35.920
I'll be like, man, maybe I need to turn this guy over to Satan for the destruction of flesh.

01:18:35.920 --> 01:18:38.920
Or maybe, you know, I just, hey, Lord, heal them and do things or whatever.

01:18:38.920 --> 01:18:40.920
Right? So we just need to be in the right frame of God.

01:18:40.920 --> 01:18:43.920
But I just want to close out with this, especially for the kids that are listening.

01:18:43.920 --> 01:18:46.920
Hey, God is in charge.

01:18:46.920 --> 01:18:48.920
It's not a suggestion.

01:18:48.920 --> 01:18:50.920
Actually, even your parents can drop the ball.

01:18:50.920 --> 01:18:51.920
Your boss can drop the ball.

01:18:51.920 --> 01:18:52.920
The pastor can drop the ball.

01:18:52.920 --> 01:18:53.920
You know who doesn't drop the ball?

01:18:53.920 --> 01:18:54.920
God.

01:18:54.920 --> 01:18:55.920
So let's close in a word of prayer.

01:18:55.920 --> 01:18:57.920
Heavenly Father, Lord, thank you so much for today.

01:18:57.920 --> 01:18:59.920
Thank you for your blessings, Lord.

01:18:59.920 --> 01:19:03.920
Thank you for reminding us that you're in charge.

01:19:03.920 --> 01:19:08.920
Thank you for reminding us that you're not to be trifled with, Lord.

01:19:08.920 --> 01:19:18.920
Thank you for reminding us that we are to be thankful and in awe and in glory and in praise of your mercy and your grace upon our lives, Lord.

01:19:18.920 --> 01:19:21.920
Thank you that you show us so much mercy and grace.

01:19:21.920 --> 01:19:26.920
Thank you that you've trusted us with the gospel and that we're able to go out there and do the work of the Lord.

01:19:26.920 --> 01:19:30.920
Thank you that there's a spiritual battle and that we are on the right side.

01:19:30.920 --> 01:19:32.920
Thank you, Lord, that we're here tonight.

01:19:32.920 --> 01:19:37.920
Lord, thank you for all those here in attendance and all those soul winners today and all those that were here in the morning.

01:19:37.920 --> 01:19:38.920
Bless the rest of the week.

01:19:38.920 --> 01:19:40.920
In Jesus name we pray.

01:19:40.920 --> 01:19:41.920
Amen.

01:19:41.920 --> 01:19:44.920
Let's turn our hand over to page 159.

01:19:44.920 --> 01:19:49.920
159.

01:19:49.920 --> 01:19:56.920
And it is.

01:19:56.920 --> 01:20:03.920
Bless be the name.

01:20:03.920 --> 01:20:22.920
Amen.

01:20:22.920 --> 01:20:30.920
Praise to him who reigns above in majesty supreme.

01:20:30.920 --> 01:20:39.920
Who gave his son for man to die that he might man redeem.

01:20:39.920 --> 01:20:44.920
Blessed be the name.

01:20:44.920 --> 01:20:48.920
Blessed be the name of the Lord.

01:20:48.920 --> 01:20:52.920
Blessed be the name.

01:20:52.920 --> 01:20:56.920
Blessed be the name of the Lord.

01:20:56.920 --> 01:21:04.920
His name above all names shall stand exalted more and more.

01:21:04.920 --> 01:21:12.920
That God's father's own right hand where he knows the door.

01:21:12.920 --> 01:21:15.920
Blessed be the name.

01:21:15.920 --> 01:21:17.920
Blessed be the name.

01:21:17.920 --> 01:21:21.920
Blessed be the name of the Lord.

01:21:21.920 --> 01:21:23.920
Blessed be the name.

01:21:23.920 --> 01:21:25.920
Blessed be the name.

01:21:25.920 --> 01:21:29.920
Blessed be the name of the Lord.

01:21:29.920 --> 01:21:33.920
Redeemer, Savior, friend of man.

01:21:33.920 --> 01:21:37.920
Was ruined by the fall.

01:21:37.920 --> 01:21:41.920
Thou hast been my salvation's plan.

01:21:41.920 --> 01:21:45.920
For thou hast died for all.

01:21:45.920 --> 01:21:48.920
Blessed be the name.

01:21:48.920 --> 01:21:50.920
Blessed be the name.

01:21:50.920 --> 01:21:54.920
Blessed be the name of the Lord.

01:21:54.920 --> 01:21:56.920
Blessed be the name.

01:21:56.920 --> 01:21:58.920
Blessed be the name.

01:21:58.920 --> 01:22:02.920
Blessed be the name of the Lord.

01:22:02.920 --> 01:22:07.920
His name shall be the counselor.

01:22:07.920 --> 01:22:11.920
The mighty prince of peace.

01:22:11.920 --> 01:22:15.920
Of all earth's kingdoms conqueror.

01:22:15.920 --> 01:22:18.920
His reign shall never cease.

01:22:18.920 --> 01:22:20.920
On the last.

01:22:20.920 --> 01:22:22.920
Blessed be the name.

01:22:22.920 --> 01:22:24.920
Blessed be the name.

01:22:24.920 --> 01:22:28.920
Blessed be the name of the Lord.

01:22:28.920 --> 01:22:30.920
Blessed be the name.

01:22:30.920 --> 01:22:32.920
Blessed be the name.

01:22:32.920 --> 01:22:36.920
Blessed be the name of the Lord.

01:22:36.920 --> 01:22:40.920
You are dismissed, Daniela.
