Amen. 31:47.400 --> 31:50.840 And we are in Rome. 31:50.840 --> 31:53.320 And I want to draw your attention to verse number 26. 31:53.320 --> 31:59.400 Look down there at verse number 26, the Bible says, and so all Israel shall be saved. 31:59.400 --> 32:04.760 As it is written, there shall come out of Zion the deliverer and shall turn away ungodliness 32:04.760 --> 32:06.380 from Jacob. 32:06.380 --> 32:10.680 This is really the go-to verse for those who would call themselves Christian Zionists. 32:11.000 --> 32:16.760 And whenever new IFB churches or Christians who understand replacement theology try to 32:16.760 --> 32:21.520 show from the Bible versus talking about how, for example, he's not a Jew, which is one 32:21.520 --> 32:25.400 outwardly, rather he's a Jew, which is one inwardly. 32:25.400 --> 32:30.340 Or we talk about verses where the Bible explains how there are those who say they are Jews, 32:30.340 --> 32:35.000 but are not, but are of the synagogue of Satan, or really just any passage of the Bible that 32:35.000 --> 32:36.980 teaches replacement theology. 32:36.980 --> 32:38.620 They kind of just tune you out and they say, 32:38.620 --> 32:39.000 well, what a. 32:39.000 --> 32:44.120 Romans 11? What about all Israel shall be saved? And this is kind of just the 32:44.120 --> 32:47.840 conversation ender for them where regardless of what other passages in 32:47.840 --> 32:52.800 the Bible say they just come at you with hey the Bible says that all Israel shall 32:52.800 --> 32:57.320 be saved. And the way that they interpret that to mean is that yeah Jews aren't 32:57.320 --> 33:01.320 saved right now but someday every single Jew in this world will just magically 33:01.320 --> 33:03.800 accept Christ and get saved. 33:03.900 --> 33:09.420 When you try to teach replacement theology, it's constantly like, oh bro hasn't read Romans 11. 33:09.420 --> 33:13.420 Bro definitely doesn't know where Romans 11 is in his Bible. But you know what, this morning we're 33:13.420 --> 33:19.820 going to see that Romans 11 is one of the most powerful chapters to back up what we believe 33:19.820 --> 33:25.980 about the Jews and what we believe, which is the fact that Christians have replaced the physical 33:25.980 --> 33:31.420 nation of Israel, that the nation over the Middle East today called Israel's not some special nation. 33:31.900 --> 33:38.820 that God loves, rather, if anything, God despises that nation because it's filled with anti-Christ. 33:38.820 --> 33:42.320 It's filled with people that hate the Lord Jesus Christ. 33:42.320 --> 33:44.960 It's a very wicked and violent country. 33:44.960 --> 33:47.680 But let's just go through this whole chapter this morning. 33:47.680 --> 33:52.860 Let's get the context of Romans 11 leading up to verse 26, and then I want you to understand 33:52.860 --> 33:57.020 by the end of this sermon what it means that all Israel shall be saved. 33:57.020 --> 33:58.260 Let's go to verse one together. 33:58.800 --> 34:05.200 Notice this is the principal question of the chapter that Paul is trying to answer. He says this I say then 34:05.340 --> 34:07.340 Have God cast away his people 34:07.960 --> 34:12.520 God forbid now. This is usually where the Zionists will stop reading 34:13.000 --> 34:16.320 They just say, oh, you're saying that the Jews have been replaced. 34:16.320 --> 34:20.120 You're saying that the Jews have been cast off Romans 11 one. 34:20.120 --> 34:24.360 God forbid that God has cast off the children of Israel today. 34:24.360 --> 34:27.600 But notice he explains what he means by this. 34:27.600 --> 34:31.800 He explains in what way God has not cast off his people. 34:31.800 --> 34:34.920 He says, I say then, hath God cast away his people? 34:34.920 --> 34:40.800 God forbid for meaning because I also am an Israelite. 34:41.000 --> 34:44.500 of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 34:44.500 --> 34:47.000 Now I want you to keep a bookmark or a finger 34:47.000 --> 34:48.780 in Romans 11 throughout the whole sermon. 34:48.780 --> 34:50.900 I want you to be able to get back very quickly, 34:50.900 --> 34:53.400 but let's go together to Philippians chapter number three. 34:53.800 --> 35:01.020 Philippians chapter number three so notice he poses this theoretical question has God cast away his people has God 35:01.020 --> 35:03.880 Just gotten rid of all the Jews all those of the nation of Israel 35:03.880 --> 35:10.260 He says God forbid because I am an Israelite so he's saying hey do I not exist 35:10.260 --> 35:16.520 Do I not matter of course God's not cast off all of the Jews all of those of Israel because hello here 35:16.520 --> 35:21.720 I am the Apostle Paul. I'm an Israelite, but what makes him different than the other Jews 35:21.800 --> 35:25.100 is that Paul believes in Jesus, the other Jews don't. 35:25.100 --> 35:28.100 So God has not cast off all the Jews. 35:28.100 --> 35:28.940 Why? 35:28.940 --> 35:31.340 Well, because Paul is a Jew and he believes in Jesus. 35:31.340 --> 35:34.340 Look at Philippians chapter number three, verse four. 35:34.340 --> 35:38.040 It says, though I might also have confidence in the flesh. 35:38.200 --> 35:44.200 If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more." 35:44.200 --> 35:49.000 He's saying, you know, these Jews that want a glory in their pedigree and their Jewishness 35:49.000 --> 35:52.920 and their keeping of the law and their, you know, all of this, you know, fleshly stuff, 35:52.920 --> 35:55.800 he's saying, I could technically glory more than anyone else. 35:56.100 --> 36:02.180 He says, though I might also have confidence in the flesh, if any other man thinketh that 36:02.180 --> 36:04.740 he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more. 36:04.740 --> 36:11.540 Notice, circumcise the eighth day of the stock of Israel of the tribe of Benjamin, and Hebrew 36:11.540 --> 36:18.100 of the Hebrews, as touching the law of Pharisee, concerning zeal, persecuting the church, touching 36:18.100 --> 36:21.460 the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. 36:21.460 --> 36:24.060 So he's saying, hey, I am like the juist. 36:24.100 --> 36:29.500 Jew that there is. He's like, I grew up the straightest sect of the Pharisees. I am in 36:29.500 --> 36:35.040 Hebrew of the Hebrews. I lived as a Pharisee. I persecuted the church. I was against this 36:35.040 --> 36:39.860 Christianity thing when it first started. He's saying, look, I know Judaism. I know 36:39.860 --> 36:44.320 the Jews. I know the Hebrews. But notice the difference. It says in verse number seven, 36:44.320 --> 36:48.580 But what things were gained to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 36:49.100 --> 36:55.900 yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, 36:55.900 --> 37:01.820 for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but done, that I may win Christ. 37:02.200 --> 37:08.840 Verse 9, and be found in him not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but 37:08.840 --> 37:15.120 that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith. 37:15.120 --> 37:18.600 So how is it that God has not cast off all his people? 37:18.600 --> 37:24.240 Well, because there are Jews like the apostle Paul, who is not trying to obtain righteousness 37:24.240 --> 37:25.400 by the law. 37:25.700 --> 37:28.700 which is what the Jews of his days were trying to do. 37:28.700 --> 37:30.800 Right, he talks about in Romans chapter 10 37:30.800 --> 37:33.640 how the Jews, he bears the record they have a zeal of God 37:33.640 --> 37:35.440 but not according to knowledge. 37:35.440 --> 37:38.820 That they're trying to be justified by the law of God. 37:38.820 --> 37:41.320 He's saying, hey, I'm not having my own righteousness. 37:41.320 --> 37:42.960 Rather, I'm having righteousness 37:42.960 --> 37:44.820 through the faith of Christ. 37:44.820 --> 37:46.500 So we have a group of Jews here. 37:46.500 --> 37:48.320 One group believes in Jesus. 37:48.320 --> 37:50.100 God hasn't cast those people off. 37:50.300 --> 37:56.300 But guess what? The Jews who reject Jesus and are trying to be justified by the works of the law, 37:56.300 --> 38:03.420 God has cut them off. God has cast them off. Go back to Romans 11. Okay? So he's answering 38:03.420 --> 38:08.780 this question. Has God cast away his people? No, because look at me. So right right here Elijah the reason he's so upset at Israel's because he feels alone 41:01.620 --> 41:07.260 He feels like he's the only one left that's actually worshiping God. He feels like he's the only one left 41:07.260 --> 41:13.900 That's actually serving him now. He may have felt that way, but in reality it was not completely true. Look at verse number four 41:14.600 --> 41:17.440 But what sayeth the answer of God unto him? 41:17.440 --> 41:21.360 I have reserved to myself 7,000 men 41:21.360 --> 41:24.240 who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. 41:24.240 --> 41:27.600 So Elijah, he felt like he was alone, 41:27.600 --> 41:30.200 but in reality, there were other people 41:30.200 --> 41:32.040 who believed in the Lord, who were saved, 41:32.040 --> 41:34.400 who hadn't bowed the knee to the image of Baal. 41:34.400 --> 41:37.440 But the idea there is that there were 7,000. 41:37.440 --> 41:38.280 What is that? 41:38.280 --> 41:39.120 That's a remnant. 41:39.300 --> 41:41.300 He didn't say seven million, right? 41:41.300 --> 41:43.860 He didn't say seven hundred million or something crazy. 41:43.860 --> 41:47.540 It's just like, hey, there's seven thousand that have not bowed the knee to the image of bail. 41:47.540 --> 41:51.620 What is he saying? Everyone else has bowed the knee to the image of bail. 41:51.900 --> 41:58.520 Everyone else is worshiping Satan and you know what it's very obvious that the religion of Judaism is a satanic religion 41:58.800 --> 42:04.620 Right Jesus Christ says hey you worship your father the devil. I'm the Apostle Paul. So as God cast off all 44:00.220 --> 44:05.820 the Jews today, no, because there are Jews that believe in Jesus. This is not saying that, Hey, 44:05.820 --> 44:10.140 God is still cool with the Jews though they kill Jesus, though. 44:10.300 --> 44:16.140 they reject him, though they don't believe in him, that is unbiblical nonsense. And so to go to 44:16.140 --> 44:22.780 Romans 11, acting like this somehow helps. Their doctrine is laughable because really this is on 44:22.780 --> 44:27.820 our side. This is defending our position here. Go to Romans chapter 11 again. Okay, then he's 44:27.820 --> 44:33.260 going to explain a little bit more here. He says in verse six, and if by grace, so if this election 44:33.260 --> 44:36.700 is of grace, then is it no more of works. 44:37.000 --> 44:43.160 Otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace? 44:43.160 --> 44:49.380 Otherwise work is no more work. So he's saying hey, you know these Jews if they want to have 44:49.880 --> 44:55.560 Access to this grace they have to realize that it's only by faith in Jesus Christ 44:55.560 --> 44:58.200 It's not going to be a mixture of you know 44:58.640 --> 45:05.000 Judaism of the keeping of the law of doing the sacrifices of the holy days and believing in Jesus 45:05.000 --> 45:08.340 Jesus, has to be 100% faith in Him. 45:08.340 --> 45:13.020 This is why it's very silly today that you have people that are like messianic Christians 45:13.020 --> 45:16.180 or people who use this term Judeo-Christian. 45:16.180 --> 45:18.900 He's saying, look, if it's of works, then it's not grace. 45:19.300 --> 45:21.700 And if it's grace, it's not of works. 45:21.940 --> 45:24.780 You can't say, OK, well, Jesus came on the scene. 45:24.780 --> 45:25.880 Well, I'll accept Jesus. 45:25.880 --> 45:26.780 I'll believe in him. 45:26.780 --> 45:30.020 But we also have to keep doing animal sacrifices to be saved. 45:30.380 --> 45:32.480 But we also have to worship in the temple. 45:32.680 --> 45:34.620 But we also have to be circumcised. 45:34.780 --> 45:38.480 You know, if someone's trusting in a mixture of faith in Jesus 45:38.680 --> 45:41.120 and of their works, they are not saved. 45:41.600 --> 45:44.600 And he's saying, hey, you know, it has to be only one of these things. 45:44.600 --> 45:45.940 Go to Galatians, chapter two. 45:46.400 --> 45:50.080 And of course, this is what the Apostle Paul is fighting for. 45:50.080 --> 45:54.760 His whole ministry is trying to get these Jews to understand that salvation is not by 45:54.760 --> 45:56.800 keeping the law. 45:56.800 --> 45:58.520 Salvation is not of works. 45:58.520 --> 46:02.720 And today, because the Bible is so clear on this, most people are not going to come out 46:02.720 --> 46:06.560 and say, hey, you have to keep the law to be saved. 46:06.560 --> 46:10.600 But here's what they do say, that you have to repent of your sins to be saved. 46:10.600 --> 46:12.160 But let me explain this to you. 46:12.160 --> 46:13.920 These are the exact same things. 46:14.700 --> 46:19.540 Keeping of laws and repenting of your sins is the same thing. 46:19.540 --> 46:23.780 The Bible says that sin is the transgression of the law. 46:23.780 --> 46:26.540 So if I have to repent of my sins, here's what you're saying. 46:26.540 --> 46:30.460 I have to stop sinning and I have to keep the law of God. 46:30.800 --> 46:36.480 And you know what, there are even Baptists today who teach that you have to repent of your sins to be saved and they are 46:37.100 --> 46:43.120 Judaizers, they are false prophets. They are just as unsaved as these Jews in the first century 46:43.680 --> 46:46.880 Notice how clear he makes it in Galatians chapter 2 verse 16 46:47.680 --> 46:49.680 Knowing that a man is not 46:50.080 --> 46:54.960 Justified by the works of the law translation. And now they're not really seeking God. They're not really seeking the Old Testament laws to try to attain salvation 50:14.340 --> 50:19.500 They're not saying hey, we got to sacrifice animals and be circumcised to be saved. They weren't trying 50:19.500 --> 50:23.420 to attain to that righteousness, yet they did attain to perfect righteousness. 50:23.420 --> 50:24.420 How? 50:24.420 --> 50:26.120 Through believing in Jesus Christ. 50:26.120 --> 50:30.460 Because when we believe in Him, His righteousness is imputed to us. 50:30.460 --> 50:34.800 And His perfect life is now applied onto our account when we believe. 50:34.800 --> 50:36.380 Then there's the Jews who were what? 50:36.380 --> 50:38.300 They were trying to obtain righteousness. 50:38.600 --> 50:41.560 They were seeking after righteousness, how? 50:41.560 --> 50:42.800 Look at verse number 31. 50:42.800 --> 50:46.800 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, 50:46.800 --> 50:50.200 hath not attained to the law of righteousness. 50:50.200 --> 50:51.140 Wherefore? 50:51.140 --> 50:54.340 Because they sought it not by faith, 50:54.340 --> 50:57.040 but as it were by the works of the law. 50:57.300 --> 50:59.460 For they stumbled at that stumbling stone, 50:59.460 --> 51:02.900 as it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumbling stone 51:02.900 --> 51:05.700 in rock of offense, and whosoever believeth on him 51:05.700 --> 51:07.780 shall not be ashamed. 51:07.780 --> 51:10.180 So why is it that Israel did not obtain that 51:10.180 --> 51:12.180 which they sought for, but the election did? 51:12.180 --> 51:15.380 Because Israel was trying to be justified by their works. 51:15.800 --> 51:22.200 And you know what? And how sad is that? 51:36.500 --> 51:38.500 You know, when we were filming for our documentary, 51:38.500 --> 51:41.140 The Truth of the Gospel, we went to a Catholic church 51:41.140 --> 51:43.300 and we interviewed a Catholic priest. 51:43.300 --> 51:45.860 And afterward we went into the sanctuary 51:45.860 --> 51:48.340 and I preached the gospel to this woman who was there. 51:48.340 --> 51:52.580 I mean, this is a woman by herself on a Saturday afternoon 51:52.580 --> 51:53.860 at like 2 p.m. 51:53.860 --> 51:55.620 There's no services going on. 51:55.620 --> 51:58.740 She's just taking up her time to go to church 51:58.740 --> 52:00.740 to what she thinks is praying to God. 52:00.740 --> 52:02.100 Wouldn't that, wouldn't you say that that's someone 52:02.100 --> 52:04.260 that's like seeking after righteousness in a way? 52:04.500 --> 52:07.300 They're like trying to be justified by righteousness. 52:07.300 --> 52:08.980 They're trying to do religious works. 52:08.980 --> 52:12.180 But it's so sad to think that this woman is not saved. 52:12.180 --> 52:13.780 And you know, I preach this woman the gospel 52:13.780 --> 52:15.860 and she completely rejected it. 52:15.860 --> 52:17.940 And she's going down the exact road 52:17.940 --> 52:19.700 that the nation of Israel went down 52:19.700 --> 52:21.140 where they're trying to be justified 52:21.140 --> 52:22.420 by the works of the law. 52:22.420 --> 52:23.460 But here's the problem. 52:23.460 --> 52:25.540 There's no flesh that's going to be justified 52:25.540 --> 52:26.820 by the works of the law. 52:26.820 --> 52:27.860 And so the Gentiles, 52:27.860 --> 52:29.940 they actually obtained righteousness through faith. 52:30.700 --> 52:36.220 Right? It's a gift. The Bible says that it is the gift of God, not of works, as any man should boast. 52:36.220 --> 52:41.660 Go to Romans chapter 11. Verse number eight, we're going to see the result of them rejecting 52:41.660 --> 52:47.340 the gospel. It says in verse number eight, according as it is written, God hath given them 52:47.340 --> 52:49.580 the spirit of slumber. 52:50.100 --> 52:55.300 eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear unto this day. 52:55.300 --> 52:59.020 So notice God has put a curse on the Jews in general 52:59.020 --> 53:03.500 because of their rejection of Christ, because of their rejection of the gospel, 53:03.500 --> 53:06.500 where God has given them the spirit of slumber. 53:07.000 --> 53:14.360 That's a scary place to be when God is cursing you with a spirit of slumber when God is making it to where your eyes can't see 53:14.360 --> 53:19.160 Where your ears can't hear where your heart can't understand. This is the punishment of God 53:19.480 --> 53:23.740 So going to Romans 11 saying oh, yeah, the Jews are still special. They're still chosen 53:24.100 --> 53:26.260 Actually, the Jews have a curse of God upon them 53:26.800 --> 53:34.800 And like you see this in societies in general that reject God and reject the Bible is you start to see a spirit of slumber 53:34.800 --> 53:39.040 And it's kind of scary to even see in America where there's like this general 53:39.680 --> 53:42.520 Spirit of slumber creeping up in our country, right? 53:42.520 --> 53:49.080 I just feel like people are becoming more and more stupid where people are caring less and less about evidence or facts or reality 53:49.440 --> 53:54.780 And there's like this spirit of slumber on America today and it's as a result of rejecting God 53:54.800 --> 54:00.240 and rejecting the Bible and the more you reject parts of the Bible the less 54:00.240 --> 54:04.800 you're gonna understand and if someone's not saved and they reject truth they can 54:04.800 --> 54:08.760 go all the way down to a reprobate road where God just curses them with the 54:08.760 --> 54:13.040 spirit of slumber and John chapter 12 talks about how hey therefore they could 54:13.040 --> 54:17.180 not believe what is that that's a reprobate and you know what many Jews 54:17.180 --> 54:22.400 not all Jews hear me clearly not all Jews but many Jews are reprobates 54:22.600 --> 54:26.440 The most religious of Jews are probably a lot of reprobates. 54:26.440 --> 54:29.340 Now you gotta realize, there's a lot of people just living in Israel 54:29.340 --> 54:33.720 that are kinda like, you know, Catholics are today, where they're like culturally Jewish, 54:33.720 --> 54:36.940 but they don't really follow the religion, they're really not into it. 54:36.940 --> 54:39.440 I think those people can be reached with the gospel.
