WEBVTT

01:00.000 --> 01:28.000
I am bound for the promised land.

01:28.000 --> 01:35.000
I am bound for the promised land.

01:35.000 --> 01:43.000
Oh, who will come and go with me?

01:43.000 --> 01:49.000
I am bound for the promised land.

01:50.000 --> 02:03.000
No chilling wind or poison breath can reach the healthful shore.

02:03.000 --> 02:16.000
Sickness and sorrow, hate and death are felt and feared no more.

02:16.000 --> 02:23.000
I am bound for the promised land.

02:23.000 --> 02:29.000
I am bound for the promised land.

02:29.000 --> 02:36.000
Oh, who will come and go with me?

02:36.000 --> 02:42.000
I am bound for the promised land.

02:43.000 --> 02:56.000
When shall I reach that happy place and be forever blessed?

02:56.000 --> 03:09.000
When shall I see my Father's face and in His bosom rest?

03:09.000 --> 03:16.000
I am bound for the promised land.

03:16.000 --> 03:22.000
I am bound for the promised land.

03:22.000 --> 03:29.000
Oh, who will come and go with me?

03:29.000 --> 03:35.000
I am bound for the promised land.

03:35.000 --> 03:37.000
Amen.

04:05.000 --> 04:08.000
Page number 93.

04:08.000 --> 04:15.000
Be sure to sing it out nice and loud as to drown out my terrible voice.

04:15.000 --> 04:16.000
I love your voice.

04:16.000 --> 04:17.000
Awesome.

04:17.000 --> 04:21.000
Thank you.

04:21.000 --> 04:23.000
Art thou weary?

04:23.000 --> 04:26.000
Art thou languid?

04:26.000 --> 04:31.000
Art thou sure distressed?

04:31.000 --> 04:40.000
Come to me, saith one, and come in, be at rest.

04:40.000 --> 04:51.000
Hath he marks to lead me to him, if he be my guide?

04:51.000 --> 05:01.000
In his feet and hands are wound prints in his side.

05:01.000 --> 05:11.000
Is there diadem as a monarch that his brow adorns?

05:11.000 --> 05:21.000
Yea, a crown in very shorty but of thorns.

05:21.000 --> 05:31.000
If I ask him to receive me, will he say me nay?

05:31.000 --> 05:41.000
Not till earth dead, not till heaven pass away.

05:41.000 --> 05:51.000
Finding, following, keeping, struggling, is he sure to bless?

05:51.000 --> 06:01.000
Saints and apostles, prophets, martyrs answer yes.

06:01.000 --> 06:02.000
Amen.

06:02.000 --> 06:03.000
All right.

06:03.000 --> 06:04.000
Excellent singing, everybody.

06:04.000 --> 06:07.000
At this time, we will have our announcements.

06:07.000 --> 06:10.000
Fortunately, nobody has a bulletin that is up to date.

06:10.000 --> 06:12.000
However, I have a picture of one.

06:12.000 --> 06:16.000
So let's see here.

06:16.000 --> 06:17.000
All right.

06:17.000 --> 06:20.000
So welcome to Scherer Foundation Baptist Church.

06:20.000 --> 06:22.000
Let's see here.

06:22.000 --> 06:26.000
Our verse of the week is...

06:26.000 --> 06:35.000
I'm not sure what the verse of the week is, but the Kids' Memory verse is Philippians 4.4, which says,

06:35.000 --> 06:41.000
Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say, Rejoice.

06:41.000 --> 06:43.000
So that is the Kids' Memory verse.

06:43.000 --> 06:45.000
We're getting a nice and easy one.

06:45.000 --> 06:50.000
And I believe that the Adult Memory verse is Psalm 23.

06:50.000 --> 06:53.000
So that's six verses.

06:53.000 --> 06:55.000
It's a nice short little chapter.

06:55.000 --> 06:59.000
And I think the deadline is like April Fool's Day or something like that.

06:59.000 --> 07:01.000
I don't know, actually.

07:01.000 --> 07:03.000
But I think it's the end of the month.

07:03.000 --> 07:06.000
So be sure to memorize that.

07:06.000 --> 07:07.000
Let's see here.

07:07.000 --> 07:11.000
Of course, our service times are Sunday morning at 10.30 a.m.

07:12.000 --> 07:17.000
Our Sunday evening service is at 3.30, and then our Wednesday evening is at 6.30.

07:17.000 --> 07:23.000
Of course, our soul-warning times are Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.

07:23.000 --> 07:27.000
And then Saturday afternoon at 12.30.

07:27.000 --> 07:29.000
And let's see here.

07:29.000 --> 07:34.000
So our Salvation or Praise Report, Salvation for February were 11.

07:34.000 --> 07:39.000
Salvation for March have been 25, which is awesome.

07:39.000 --> 07:44.000
And then Salvation for the year so far have been 46,

07:44.000 --> 07:49.000
which is approximately 46 percent of our yearly goal.

07:49.000 --> 07:51.000
So that's pretty good.

07:51.000 --> 07:52.000
Let's see here.

07:52.000 --> 07:54.000
We have zero baptisms.

07:54.000 --> 07:56.000
So we obviously want to change that.

07:56.000 --> 08:00.000
So, you know, don't be scared if you want to get baptized.

08:00.000 --> 08:02.000
It's not that cold out.

08:02.000 --> 08:03.000
Let's see here.

08:03.000 --> 08:05.000
We do have a trough.

08:05.000 --> 08:07.000
We don't have to go down to the river.

08:07.000 --> 08:08.000
But let's see here.

08:08.000 --> 08:13.000
Last Sunday morning's attendance was 11.

08:13.000 --> 08:15.000
I feel like that's fake news, though.

08:15.000 --> 08:18.000
Well, actually, I wasn't even here last Sunday, so I don't even know.

08:18.000 --> 08:23.000
Yeah, you know, if I'm not here, everything's fake news.

08:23.000 --> 08:25.000
So let's see here.

08:25.000 --> 08:30.000
So last, the evening's attendance was 12, and then last Wednesday's attendance was 18.

08:30.000 --> 08:33.000
So actually, they are doing better in Wednesday attendances, apparently.

08:33.000 --> 08:35.000
So that's interesting.

08:35.000 --> 08:39.000
Well, I think we just had a lot of people sick last week, it seems like, probably.

08:39.000 --> 08:41.000
All right, so let's see here.

08:41.000 --> 08:46.000
So if you can't tell, it's been a while since I've done announcements.

08:46.000 --> 08:50.000
Seems like we have a new format for our bulletins.

08:50.000 --> 08:52.000
Let's see here.

08:52.000 --> 08:54.000
So we have March birthdays.

08:54.000 --> 08:57.000
We had Titus was on the 8th.

08:57.000 --> 09:02.000
We had Caleb Kutsar was on the 16th.

09:02.000 --> 09:08.000
But, I mean, Hadassah was born, like, wasn't she born in March or February?

09:08.000 --> 09:09.000
March.

09:09.000 --> 09:12.000
So we've got to get Hadassah on there.

09:12.000 --> 09:13.000
What day was it?

09:13.000 --> 09:14.000
Was it the 6th?

09:14.000 --> 09:15.000
It was the 4th.

09:15.000 --> 09:16.000
I was close.

09:16.000 --> 09:17.000
Very close.

09:17.000 --> 09:18.000
By two days.

09:18.000 --> 09:19.000
By two days, right.

09:19.000 --> 09:20.000
Yeah.

09:20.000 --> 09:21.000
So let's see here.

09:21.000 --> 09:23.000
So Hadassah was on the 4th.

09:23.000 --> 09:24.000
Let's see here.

09:24.000 --> 09:26.000
We have two anniversaries.

09:26.000 --> 09:31.000
We have me and my wife's anniversary is on the 30th, and then we have the 6th.

09:31.000 --> 09:36.000
So we have the 6th on the 30th, and then Paul and Victoria's is on the 31st.

09:36.000 --> 09:43.000
Then, of course, I'm pretty sure that Robert and Cassandra Larson, they're on the 1st.

09:43.000 --> 09:46.000
We have to mention them even though they don't come here.

09:46.000 --> 09:48.000
They still have to be mentioned.

09:48.000 --> 09:50.000
It's a requirement.

09:50.000 --> 09:51.000
Let's see here.

09:51.000 --> 09:52.000
So let's see.

09:52.000 --> 09:56.000
We have our prayer requests here on the bulletin.

09:56.000 --> 10:01.000
Of course, if you have any prayer requests that you would like to have prayed for, do

10:01.000 --> 10:09.000
let either Remy or Ms. Kylie know, and they will add it to the bulletin, and we will pray

10:09.000 --> 10:11.000
for that request.

10:11.000 --> 10:13.000
But let's go ahead and...

10:26.000 --> 10:27.000
Okay.

10:56.000 --> 10:57.000
Okay.

11:26.000 --> 11:27.000
Okay.

11:56.000 --> 11:57.000
Okay.

12:26.000 --> 12:27.000
Okay.

12:56.000 --> 12:57.000
Okay.

12:57.000 --> 12:58.000
Okay.

12:58.000 --> 12:59.000
Okay.

12:59.000 --> 13:00.000
Okay.

13:00.000 --> 13:01.000
Okay.

13:01.000 --> 13:02.000
Okay.

13:02.000 --> 13:03.000
Okay.

13:03.000 --> 13:04.000
Okay.

13:04.000 --> 13:05.000
Okay.

13:05.000 --> 13:06.000
Okay.

13:06.000 --> 13:07.000
Okay.

13:07.000 --> 13:08.000
Okay.

13:08.000 --> 13:09.000
Okay.

13:09.000 --> 13:10.000
Okay.

13:10.000 --> 13:11.000
Okay.

13:11.000 --> 13:12.000
Okay.

13:12.000 --> 13:13.000
Okay.

13:13.000 --> 13:14.000
Okay.

13:14.000 --> 13:15.000
Okay.

13:15.000 --> 13:16.000
Okay.

13:16.000 --> 13:17.000
Okay.

13:17.000 --> 13:18.000
Okay.

13:18.000 --> 13:19.000
Okay.

13:19.000 --> 13:20.000
Okay.

13:20.000 --> 13:21.000
Okay.

13:21.000 --> 13:22.000
Okay.

13:22.000 --> 13:23.000
Okay.

13:23.000 --> 13:24.000
Okay.

13:24.000 --> 13:25.000
Okay.

13:26.000 --> 13:27.000
Oh, yes.

13:27.000 --> 13:30.000
We're going to sing Happy Birthday to Caleb.

13:30.000 --> 13:31.000
He's right there.

13:31.000 --> 13:32.000
He's two years old, right?

13:32.000 --> 13:33.000
Yes, he is.

13:33.000 --> 13:34.000
He's two years old.

13:34.000 --> 13:36.000
We're going to sing Happy Birthday.

13:36.000 --> 13:39.000
We'll sing it out on the first.

13:39.000 --> 13:43.000
Happy birthday to you.

13:43.000 --> 13:47.000
Happy birthday to you.

13:47.000 --> 13:52.000
Happy birthday, God bless you.

13:52.000 --> 13:57.000
Happy birthday to you.

13:57.000 --> 13:58.000
All right.

13:58.000 --> 13:59.000
I almost couldn't do that.

13:59.000 --> 14:00.000
One more time.

14:00.000 --> 14:01.000
Don't break your voice.

14:01.000 --> 14:02.000
Yeah, I don't want to do that.

14:02.000 --> 14:03.000
All right.

14:03.000 --> 14:06.000
We're going to take our Psalm books.

14:06.000 --> 14:10.000
We're going to turn to Psalm number 24.

14:10.000 --> 14:15.000
Psalm number 24.

14:15.000 --> 14:18.000
You say, hey, we've done this Psalm quite a few times.

14:18.000 --> 14:21.000
Well, they say practice makes permanent.

14:21.000 --> 14:24.000
So however you're singing it is the way you're going to sing it forever.

14:24.000 --> 14:25.000
So sing it well.

14:25.000 --> 14:26.000
Sing it good.

14:26.000 --> 14:27.000
All right.

14:27.000 --> 14:28.000
Let's see here.

14:28.000 --> 14:31.000
We're going to sing Psalm number 24.

14:31.000 --> 14:44.000
The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof.

14:44.000 --> 14:51.000
The world and they that dwell therein.

14:51.000 --> 15:03.000
For he hath founded it upon the seas and established it upon the floods.

15:03.000 --> 15:15.000
Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord or who shall stand in his holy place.

15:15.000 --> 15:28.000
He that hath clean hands and a pure heart who hath lifted up his soul unto vanity nor torn deceitfully.

15:28.000 --> 15:40.000
He shall receive the blessings from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

15:40.000 --> 15:52.000
This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob, see ye love.

15:52.000 --> 16:03.000
Lift up your hands, O ye gates, and be ye lifted up ye everlasting doors.

16:03.000 --> 16:10.000
And the King of glory shall come in.

16:10.000 --> 16:16.000
Who is this King of glory?

16:16.000 --> 16:28.000
The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

16:28.000 --> 16:39.000
Lift up your heads, O ye gates, even lift them up ye everlasting doors.

16:39.000 --> 16:45.000
And the King of glory shall come in.

16:45.000 --> 16:50.000
Who is this King of glory?

16:50.000 --> 16:57.000
The Lord of hosts.

16:57.000 --> 17:05.000
He is the King of glory, see ye love.

17:05.000 --> 17:09.000
Alright, excellent singing everybody.

17:09.000 --> 17:13.000
At this time we will pray for the offering.

17:13.000 --> 17:22.000
Amen.

17:43.000 --> 18:08.000
Alright, if everybody can open up their Bibles to 2 Corinthians chapter 5.

18:08.000 --> 18:12.000
We'll read the chapter of our customers, 2 Corinthians chapter 5.

18:12.000 --> 18:19.000
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God,

18:19.000 --> 18:22.000
and a house not made of hands, eternal in the heavens.

18:22.000 --> 18:28.000
For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven.

18:28.000 --> 18:32.000
If so be that being clothed, we shall not be found naked.

18:32.000 --> 18:39.000
For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened, not for that we would be unclothed,

18:39.000 --> 18:44.000
but clothed upon, that morality might be swallowed up of life.

18:44.000 --> 18:51.000
Now he that hath wrought us for the self-seeming thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

18:51.000 --> 18:58.000
Therefore we are always confident, knowing that whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord.

18:58.000 --> 19:05.000
For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body,

19:05.000 --> 19:12.000
and to be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labor, that whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

19:12.000 --> 19:19.000
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that every one may receive the things done in his body,

19:19.000 --> 19:22.000
according to that he have done, whether it be good or bad.

19:22.000 --> 19:27.000
Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest unto God,

19:27.000 --> 19:30.000
and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

19:30.000 --> 19:36.000
For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf,

19:36.000 --> 19:41.000
that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.

19:41.000 --> 19:47.000
For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God, or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.

19:47.000 --> 19:54.000
For the love of Christ constraineth us, because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then we are all dead,

19:54.000 --> 19:59.000
and that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves,

19:59.000 --> 20:02.000
but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

20:02.000 --> 20:06.000
Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh,

20:06.000 --> 20:12.000
yea though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

20:12.000 --> 20:16.000
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.

20:16.000 --> 20:20.000
All things are passed away, behold all things are become new.

20:21.000 --> 20:26.000
And all things are of God, who have reconciled us unto himself by Jesus Christ,

20:26.000 --> 20:29.000
and have given to us the ministry of reconciliation,

20:29.000 --> 20:34.000
to which that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself,

20:34.000 --> 20:40.000
not imputing their trespasses unto them, and have committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

20:40.000 --> 20:46.000
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us,

20:46.000 --> 20:49.000
we pray you in Christ that be you reconciled to God,

20:49.000 --> 20:53.000
for he hath made him to be sinned for us, who knew no sin,

20:53.000 --> 20:57.000
that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

20:57.000 --> 21:01.000
Brother Jake, if you can pray for the sermon.

21:08.000 --> 21:09.000
Amen.

21:09.000 --> 21:16.000
Well, first I just want to thank Pastor Thompson and Brother Remy

21:16.000 --> 21:21.000
for giving me the opportunity to preach behind this pulpit, it's a huge deal to me.

21:21.000 --> 21:26.000
I never even thought that I would preach a sermon in my life,

21:26.000 --> 21:32.000
because from the beginning I started this church I said there's no way I'm never going to preach,

21:32.000 --> 21:36.000
but praise God, you know, things change.

21:37.000 --> 21:43.000
Anyway, the title of my sermon today is the ministry of reconciliation,

21:43.000 --> 21:50.000
and the reason, the ministry of reconciliation, that's just a fancy word for soul winning, you know,

21:50.000 --> 21:56.000
our ministry is soul winning, you know, God has given to us that ministry.

21:56.000 --> 22:03.000
And the reason why I kind of, this sermon has been on my heart,

22:03.000 --> 22:09.000
is because our church takes this ministry really seriously,

22:09.000 --> 22:15.000
and like-minded churches, new IFB churches take this ministry very seriously,

22:15.000 --> 22:24.000
and if you haven't noticed, this year we have done more soul winning,

22:24.000 --> 22:27.000
and more soul winning events than we ever have at this church,

22:27.000 --> 22:33.000
with the new leadership we have here is very serious about doing more events,

22:33.000 --> 22:40.000
getting more people saved, just going out into all the world as much as we possibly can,

22:40.000 --> 22:48.000
I mean, just so far I wrote down a couple of marathons and kind of events that we've hosted,

22:48.000 --> 22:54.000
or we're going to be a part of, we got the mega marathon we're going to be a part of,

22:54.000 --> 22:58.000
and we're going to do that in Cheney April 4th, that's coming up,

22:58.000 --> 23:04.000
we have the Orofino Idaho marathon with Brother Akers and Brother Remy,

23:04.000 --> 23:08.000
they're kind of co-hosting that, that's going to be awesome,

23:08.000 --> 23:13.000
that's an Indian reservation, I guess it's really receptive,

23:14.000 --> 23:23.000
we went to the WSU, what was it, it was the college campus soul winning marathon that Pastor Shelley had put on,

23:23.000 --> 23:31.000
we ended up getting 19 salvations in what was it, 3 hours, so praise God for that, that is awesome,

23:31.000 --> 23:36.000
I'm so happy that we're doing new events, and it's just getting, I don't know about you guys,

23:36.000 --> 23:40.000
but it's firing me up a little more, that I've been fired up, you know,

23:40.000 --> 23:49.000
sometimes you can go through a little bit of a lowing, and with these events coming up, it's just, it fires you up,

23:49.000 --> 23:54.000
it's like that, it's that spiritual power bar, you know, if you're running a race,

23:54.000 --> 23:59.000
sometimes you need a little bit of a power bar or a cliff bar to keep you going, you know,

23:59.000 --> 24:06.000
and these things are likened into that, and then also, hopefully we'll continue doing that,

24:07.000 --> 24:14.000
the college campus soul winning yearly, that'd be great, because every single year, new kids come through,

24:14.000 --> 24:18.000
every single year, dear, can you turn me down just a little bit,

24:18.000 --> 24:26.000
we have the Cheney soul winning mini marathons we do once a month, or we try to do them once a month,

24:26.000 --> 24:33.000
sometimes other things come up, Brother Remy and I scouted the Colville Indian reservation,

24:33.000 --> 24:39.000
and it seemed just in the couple hours that we went out there, we got one salvation,

24:39.000 --> 24:45.000
but not a lot of people were answering the door, because it was like snowing outside, it was freezing,

24:45.000 --> 24:49.000
maybe it wasn't snowing, there's snow on the ground, it was pretty cold,

24:49.000 --> 24:56.000
but not a lot of people answered, but praise God, we got one salvation, and it was just completely crazy out there,

24:56.000 --> 25:01.000
they had, there's a lot of people that didn't even know about the resurrection of Christ, it was mind blowing,

25:01.000 --> 25:08.000
so they definitely need us to go out there, and then we have our standard Saturday and Sunday times,

25:08.000 --> 25:12.000
which we've been going strong faithfully ever since our church started,

25:12.000 --> 25:20.000
virtually every Saturday and Sunday, we have been faithful to that,

25:20.000 --> 25:27.000
and our church, this church started, I think, based on like a soul winning event, right,

25:28.000 --> 25:34.000
Pastor Thompson had met Pastor John Young at a soul winning marathon,

25:34.000 --> 25:40.000
and I mean our church was built on soul winning, so I mean, it's just,

25:40.000 --> 25:49.000
would it be sad that our church just continues soul winning every single week, every single year, just continue to go out,

25:50.000 --> 25:58.000
Anyway, let's get started there, like I said, the title of my sermon is The Ministry of Reconciliation,

25:58.000 --> 26:06.000
you can go ahead and go to 2 Corinthians 5 verse 18, that's where we'll start,

26:07.000 --> 26:13.000
2 Corinthians 5 verse 18, it says,

26:20.000 --> 26:27.000
and I'm just going to stop right there, and I'll just hit this first part of this verse,

26:27.000 --> 26:36.000
but the Bible says that God the Father had reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ,

26:36.000 --> 26:43.000
so God the Father sent Jesus Christ down to this earth, Jesus lived a perfect life,

26:43.000 --> 26:50.000
he died on the cross, he was buried and rose again three days later to pay for our sins,

26:50.000 --> 26:58.000
and made reconciliation for us, and now, I want to get into like, what is reconciliation,

26:58.000 --> 27:06.000
well, reconciliation just means to make peace, like, this is kind of a silly example,

27:06.000 --> 27:13.000
but it's like you're bearing the hatchet, that's a lame example, but it's like, hey, there's reconciliation happening,

27:13.000 --> 27:22.000
there's something happening where that peace, there wasn't peace before, so there needed to be reconciliation, right?

27:22.000 --> 27:28.000
So the Bible says, before we were reconciled, we were not at peace with God,

27:28.000 --> 27:34.000
and my first point is, why is the unsaved world not at peace with God, right?

27:34.000 --> 27:43.000
So there had to be a point in our lives, in everybody's lives, where something was broken, right?

27:43.000 --> 27:51.000
And if you go to Romans 7 verse 9, you guys could go to Romans 7 verse 9,

27:51.000 --> 27:56.000
Apostle Paul talks about this in Romans 7 verse 9, he says,

28:05.000 --> 28:10.000
So Paul is talking about a time in his life when he was alive without the law once,

28:10.000 --> 28:19.000
meaning when a little baby is born, they are completely innocent, they don't know right from wrong, right?

28:19.000 --> 28:26.000
They don't have that knowledge of good and evil yet, so he was alive without the law once,

28:26.000 --> 28:32.000
so if a baby dies, they go straight to heaven because they've never sinned before,

28:32.000 --> 28:39.000
but it goes on to say, but when the commandment came, sin revived and died,

28:39.000 --> 28:45.000
so there's a point, there was a point in Paul's life when he knew right from wrong,

28:45.000 --> 28:54.000
once a child understands right from wrong, we're all born with a sin nature, right?

28:54.000 --> 29:00.000
So we're all going to screw up, the Bible says, for all of sin it comes short of the glory of God, right?

29:00.000 --> 29:11.000
But my point is that there is a point when a child is born, they don't understand right from wrong, right?

29:11.000 --> 29:16.000
But once they do understand right from wrong, they'll sin, and at that point they die,

29:16.000 --> 29:21.000
and it's not talking about a physical death, they don't just keel over and die the moment they sin,

29:21.000 --> 29:26.000
they could, but that's not what it's talking about, it's talking about a spiritual death,

29:26.000 --> 29:34.000
and at that point, that is when salvation is needed, that's when reconciliation is needed,

29:34.000 --> 29:42.000
the Bible says, for the wages of sin is death, so what we've earned for sin is death,

29:42.000 --> 29:47.000
and sin is the transgression of the law, so when we break God's commandments, that's a sin,

29:47.000 --> 29:52.000
the Bible says what we've earned for that sin is death, right?

29:52.000 --> 29:59.000
And it's talking about a spiritual death, right?

29:59.000 --> 30:05.000
Just like when God commanded Adam not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil,

30:05.000 --> 30:10.000
he said, for in the day that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die,

30:10.000 --> 30:17.000
so eventually Adam did die, and if he would have never sinned, he would have never died, right?

30:17.000 --> 30:22.000
But in this story, the Bible's talking about a spiritual death,

30:22.000 --> 30:31.000
that the moment somebody sins, they die spiritually, because Adam did die that day spiritually,

30:31.000 --> 30:40.000
and at that point he needed a savior, and eventually, you know, Jesus clothed him with the skins, right?

30:40.000 --> 30:47.000
Which pictures Christ's righteousness applied on his account, he was saved, Adam got saved.

30:47.000 --> 30:57.000
So I wanted to show you here that the point that I was trying to drive home is the unsaved world is not at peace with God,

30:57.000 --> 31:06.000
why? Because we've sinned, because everybody eventually will sin if they don't die as a little child, right?

31:06.000 --> 31:14.000
So the Bible says in Ephesians 2, 1, And you, hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins?

31:14.000 --> 31:23.000
So the Bible is clear that the moment we sinned, before, obviously, before salvation, we are dead in trespasses and sins.

31:23.000 --> 31:33.000
But after you get saved, hey, you're alive forevermore, you can never die that second death, you're saved forever.

31:33.000 --> 31:37.000
So John, go ahead and turn to John 3, 36.

31:41.000 --> 31:45.000
John chapter 3, verse 36.

31:48.000 --> 31:55.000
The Bible reads, He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life,

31:55.000 --> 32:02.000
and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.

32:02.000 --> 32:12.000
So the unsaved world, the unregenerate man, the Bible says the wrath of God is abiding on them, right?

32:12.000 --> 32:16.000
They need reconciliation. And that is a terrifying thought.

32:16.000 --> 32:21.000
I know when we're at the door, sometimes we'll warn people with this verse.

32:21.000 --> 32:26.000
Like, hey, you need to get saved because the Bible says the wrath of God is abiding on you.

32:26.000 --> 32:36.000
And the Bible says if somebody dies, if somebody dies without Christ, they die with themselves being dead in their trespasses and sins.

32:36.000 --> 32:40.000
They're immediately going to die and wake up in hell.

32:40.000 --> 32:46.000
Just like the story of the rich man and Lazarus burning in torment forever.

32:46.000 --> 32:51.000
The rich man lifted up his eyes being in hell saying, Father Abraham,

32:51.000 --> 32:59.000
you know, send Lazarus that he could dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue for I'm tormented in this flame.

32:59.000 --> 33:03.000
I mean, literally torment forever.

33:03.000 --> 33:12.000
And that that is and what causes that is is being dead in your trespasses and sins.

33:13.000 --> 33:24.000
And in Second Corinthians five, verse 11, it says, knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men, you know.

33:24.000 --> 33:31.000
We know what's coming. We know what's coming to the to the unregenerate man, the unsaved world.

33:31.000 --> 33:38.000
That's why we go out to the world because we love people and we want them to be saved from hell.

33:38.000 --> 33:40.000
We know the terror of the Lord.

33:40.000 --> 33:46.000
What a terrifying thought to know that, hey, you know, I think about this sometimes.

33:46.000 --> 33:56.000
I think about my coworkers and I'm like, I think about the fact like one day when we're witnessing the Great White Throne judgment, right?

33:56.000 --> 33:59.000
We're seeing the unsaved people get judged by their works.

33:59.000 --> 34:02.000
We don't get judged by our works at all.

34:02.000 --> 34:07.000
The unsaved world is being judged by their works at the Great White Throne judgment.

34:07.000 --> 34:10.000
But we're going to be there witnessing that.

34:10.000 --> 34:20.000
And and I think about sometimes I'll think about like a coworker and they look over at me and they're like, Ryan, why didn't you ever tell me?

34:20.000 --> 34:22.000
You know, and it's it's kind of a scary thought.

34:22.000 --> 34:25.000
And it just kind of pushes me to one.

34:25.000 --> 34:27.000
I don't know if that'll ever happen or whatever.

34:27.000 --> 34:28.000
But sometimes I think about it.

34:28.000 --> 34:31.000
I'm like, well, if that happens, I'm going to feel really bad.

34:31.000 --> 34:33.000
And I should have told them about Jesus.

34:33.000 --> 34:35.000
You know what I mean?

34:35.000 --> 34:41.000
And praise God that he led us live long enough to hear the gospel and get saved.

34:41.000 --> 34:49.000
You know, because I think about because I got saved later in life in 2019.

34:49.000 --> 34:53.000
And it's like, man, I've done so many dumb things in my life where I could have died.

34:54.000 --> 34:57.000
And if I would have died, I would have gone straight to hell.

34:57.000 --> 35:00.000
Deservably, because we all deserve to go to hell.

35:00.000 --> 35:09.000
Right. And praise God, he had mercy on all of us in here and let us live long enough to hear the gospel and get get saved.

35:09.000 --> 35:13.000
And it's because God, you know, God is not willing that any should perish.

35:13.000 --> 35:15.000
He doesn't want anybody to go to hell.

35:15.000 --> 35:23.000
And Second Peter three, if you go ahead and go to Second Peter three, verse nine.

35:23.000 --> 35:42.000
The Bible says in Second Peter three, nine, the Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness, but as long suffering to us were not willing that any should perish.

35:42.000 --> 35:53.000
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness, but as long suffering to us were not willing that any should perish.

35:53.000 --> 35:56.000
But that all should come to repentance.

35:56.000 --> 35:58.000
You know, God is not willing that any should perish.

35:58.000 --> 36:01.000
He's very long suffering with people.

36:01.000 --> 36:03.000
He was long suffering with us.

36:03.000 --> 36:06.000
Praise God for the people that get saved at a very young age.

36:06.000 --> 36:14.000
That is that is really awesome and reassuring because no matter what happens in their life, we know they're going to heaven no matter what.

36:14.000 --> 36:25.000
But I just I just thank God from time to time when it when it comes to my mind that I'm just so thankful that that he was long suffering with me.

36:25.000 --> 36:26.000
I mean, he was long suffering with you.

36:26.000 --> 36:30.000
He's long suffering with a lot of people in here that got saved later in life.

36:30.000 --> 36:32.000
Praise God.

36:33.000 --> 36:39.000
Point number two. So point number one was, hey, why why do we even need reconciliation?

36:39.000 --> 36:47.000
What was there had to be something happen to cause that peace to be broken, right?

36:47.000 --> 36:49.000
Because reconciliation is making peace.

36:49.000 --> 37:03.000
So in my first point, I explained, hey, the moment we sin, the moment we reach the age of accountability, we deserve our we sin and we deserve death.

37:03.000 --> 37:05.000
We deserve hell.

37:05.000 --> 37:07.000
The wages of sin is death.

37:07.000 --> 37:11.000
We're dead in our trespasses and sins.

37:11.000 --> 37:18.000
And my second point is that Jesus is the propitiation for our sins.

37:18.000 --> 37:22.000
Jesus is the propitiation for our sins.

37:22.000 --> 37:28.000
If you go ahead and go to first, John, two, two, I'll read first, John, four, ten.

37:28.000 --> 37:34.000
You guys go to first, John, two, verse two.

37:34.000 --> 37:50.000
The Bible says in first, John, four, ten, here in his love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his son to be the propitiation for our sins.

37:50.000 --> 37:55.000
So God, God, it's not that we love God first.

37:55.000 --> 38:02.000
It's that he loved us and he loved us so much that he sent Jesus Christ to die in our place for our sins.

38:02.000 --> 38:17.000
And where you guys are first, John, two, two, the Bible says, and he is the propitiation for our sins, not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

38:17.000 --> 38:22.000
Jesus is the propitiation for our sins in the Bible.

38:22.000 --> 38:25.000
I'll explain to you what a propitiation is.

38:25.000 --> 38:36.000
I kind of went through some definitions in the dictionary and a typical 18th century definition of propitiation.

38:36.000 --> 38:47.000
The word propitiation is the act of propitiating, the act of appeasing wrath and conciliating favor.

38:47.000 --> 38:50.000
So it's the appeasement.

38:50.000 --> 38:58.000
So Jesus' sacrifice on the cross appeased God's wrath, meaning it satisfied his wrath.

38:58.000 --> 39:09.000
And so the Bible, again, in first, John, two, two, it says, and he is the propitiation for our sins.

39:09.000 --> 39:14.000
So his sacrifice satisfied God's wrath for our sins, right?

39:14.000 --> 39:19.000
And not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

39:19.000 --> 39:25.000
So Jesus didn't just die for our particular sins or our sins only.

39:25.000 --> 39:27.000
He died for everybody's sins.

39:27.000 --> 39:32.000
He died for all the sins in the world, the big sins, the little sins.

39:32.000 --> 39:35.000
Jesus paid every sin, even the sin of suicide.

39:36.000 --> 39:45.000
I know when we're out soul winning, I always ask, I'm like, hey, God forbid if you took your own life, would God take away your salvation?

39:45.000 --> 39:52.000
And like 50 percent of the time they say, oh, yeah, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

39:52.000 --> 39:58.000
You know, everybody who puts their faith on Jesus, they're justified from all sin.

39:58.000 --> 40:01.000
And the Bible even said blessed is the man.

40:01.000 --> 40:16.000
It says, as David even also described the blessedness of the man unto whom God imputed righteousness without works, saying blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven and whose sins are covered.

40:16.000 --> 40:20.000
Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord will not impute sin.

40:20.000 --> 40:23.000
That's from A to Z. That's your past sins.

40:23.000 --> 40:24.000
That's your present sins.

40:24.000 --> 40:25.000
That's your future sins.

40:25.000 --> 40:26.000
Jesus paid for all the sin.

40:26.000 --> 40:36.000
And that's what kind of ticks me off about works based salvation when you're out there and people like to sprinkle in their own works.

40:36.000 --> 40:39.000
They're basically saying what Jesus did was not good enough.

40:39.000 --> 40:41.000
And it just really pisses me off.

40:41.000 --> 40:47.000
And it's I know sometimes when you're talking to somebody, they don't really understand what they're doing.

40:48.000 --> 40:54.000
Well, you got to have some change in your life or you got to you got to repent of some sin.

40:54.000 --> 40:55.000
No, that's garbage.

40:55.000 --> 40:59.000
What you're doing is adding your filthy righteousness.

40:59.000 --> 41:03.000
The Bible says all righteousnesses are as filthy rags before the Lord.

41:03.000 --> 41:15.000
So you're taking your filthy rag and adding it into Jesus is perfect, righteous blood, his perfect sacrifice, what he did for us and mixing it in.

41:15.000 --> 41:16.000
That's garbage.

41:16.000 --> 41:18.000
God's not going to accept that at all.

41:18.000 --> 41:21.000
It's all Jesus or nothing.

41:21.000 --> 41:29.000
And so Jesus sacrifice on the cross appeased or satisfied God's wrath.

41:29.000 --> 41:31.000
One hundred percent, one hundred percent satisfied.

41:31.000 --> 41:34.000
God doesn't need your, you know, works.

41:34.000 --> 41:39.000
He's not even going to accept that his wrath will not be satisfied by your works.

41:39.000 --> 41:41.000
Or if somebody were like, no, not Jesus.

41:41.000 --> 41:44.000
I'm going to go about establishing my own righteousness.

41:44.000 --> 41:47.000
Not going to work because God is a righteous judge.

41:47.000 --> 41:49.000
And I think Brother Jason taught me this out.

41:49.000 --> 41:59.000
So winning because some people be like, we give them the example of OK, so if you went before a judge and you're like, say you're on trial for murder, something really bad.

41:59.000 --> 42:00.000
Right.

42:00.000 --> 42:04.000
And you're like, hey, judge, you know, I quit murdering.

42:04.000 --> 42:07.000
I don't murder anybody anymore.

42:08.000 --> 42:09.000
I actually.

42:10.000 --> 42:12.000
Give blood and like plasma.

42:12.000 --> 42:15.000
So I'm like trying to, you know, restore life.

42:15.000 --> 42:16.000
Right.

42:16.000 --> 42:18.000
And I give to the poor.

42:18.000 --> 42:29.000
You know, I tie that church and mint and cumin and and, you know, I'll do all these wonderful things for the community.

42:29.000 --> 42:32.000
Is the judge going to say, all right, get out of here, man.

42:32.000 --> 42:33.000
What are you doing?

42:33.000 --> 42:34.000
Why are you even here anymore?

42:34.000 --> 42:36.000
No, you're not guilty.

42:36.000 --> 42:37.000
You're free to go.

42:37.000 --> 42:41.000
Absolutely not, because that wouldn't be a righteous judge.

42:41.000 --> 42:50.000
Maybe in some weird country they have some wicked judge like that, but it's not not righteous and it would not work.

42:50.000 --> 42:54.000
The crime you commit must be paid for.

42:54.000 --> 42:57.000
And God is a righteous judge.

42:57.000 --> 42:58.000
He doesn't let sin go.

42:58.000 --> 42:59.000
Right.

42:59.000 --> 43:04.000
So he's not going to accept your filthy rags as as a payment.

43:04.000 --> 43:11.000
The only payment he's going to accept is his son's perfect sacrifice, his death, burial and resurrection.

43:11.000 --> 43:12.000
Go to Romans five eight.

43:22.000 --> 43:31.000
Romans five eight says, But God commended his love toward us and that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

43:31.000 --> 43:35.000
So Jesus Christ died for us, meaning he took our place.

43:35.000 --> 43:39.000
He he took our place.

43:39.000 --> 43:42.000
He died in the place of our sins for us.

43:42.000 --> 43:43.000
Right.

43:43.000 --> 43:45.000
We deserve death and hell.

43:45.000 --> 43:48.000
But Jesus, he took our place for us.

43:48.000 --> 44:00.000
And I'm going to read to you first Corinthians fifteen three, because this is how this is how he you know, this is how he was able to make reconciliation.

44:00.000 --> 44:02.000
Is through his sacrifice.

44:02.000 --> 44:09.000
This is the propitiation is is what satisfied God's wrath.

44:09.000 --> 44:10.000
Right.

44:10.000 --> 44:16.000
So in first Corinthians fifteen one through four.

44:16.000 --> 44:27.000
Says, Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received and wherein you stand by which also you are saved.

44:27.000 --> 44:31.000
If you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain.

44:31.000 --> 44:37.000
So he's saying, hey, you know, you're saved by the gospel unless you did not really believe.

44:37.000 --> 44:38.000
Right.

44:38.000 --> 44:40.000
Because if somebody says, hey, yeah, I believe in Jesus.

44:40.000 --> 44:44.000
And then two years later, they're like, no, I don't believe Jesus anymore.

44:44.000 --> 44:50.000
Now they're like hardcore worshiping Mary and bowing down to idols at the college church.

44:50.000 --> 44:52.000
You know that they believed in vain.

44:52.000 --> 44:54.000
Right. They didn't believe.

44:54.000 --> 45:10.000
And then in verse three, it says, for I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures that he was buried and that he rose again the third day according to scripture.

45:10.000 --> 45:16.000
So through Jesus's death, burial and resurrection, Jesus died on the cross.

45:16.000 --> 45:17.000
He was buried in the Bible.

45:17.000 --> 45:20.000
Even says his soul went down to hell for three days and three nights.

45:20.000 --> 45:23.000
The Bible says his soul was made an offering for sin.

45:23.000 --> 45:27.000
And Jonah is prophesied out of the belly of hell.

45:27.000 --> 45:37.000
Cried I write and in Acts two thirty one, it says he seen this before spake of the resurrection of Christ that his soul was not left in hell.

45:37.000 --> 45:40.000
Neither his flesh did see corruption.

45:40.000 --> 45:42.000
And then the next verse says this.

45:42.000 --> 45:46.000
Jesus have God raised up where of the all are witnesses.

45:46.000 --> 45:53.000
So Jesus, he didn't stay in hell because God, the father three days and three nights later raised Jesus from the dead.

45:53.000 --> 46:00.000
He walked out of the tomb victorious bodily record resurrection, conquering death and hell for us in our place.

46:00.000 --> 46:10.000
Just blows my mind even more how people try to sprinkle in their own works in that once his glorious, awesome, perfect sacrifice.

46:10.000 --> 46:13.000
Jesus's death, burial and resurrection.

46:13.000 --> 46:15.000
They think, oh, that wasn't good enough.

46:15.000 --> 46:19.000
I've got to I've got to add my own works in there to garbage.

46:21.000 --> 46:26.000
So and you know, this is how everyone throughout time has been saved.

46:26.000 --> 46:29.000
Jesus, he wasn't like a plan B.

46:29.000 --> 46:37.000
He wasn't there wasn't like different modes or salvation was not by works in the Old Testament.

46:37.000 --> 46:45.000
Because this sensationalism, they'll they'll they'll try to say, oh, yeah, there's a different salvation was by works in the Old Testament.

46:45.000 --> 46:48.000
Now, you know, in the New Testament, it's by faith.

46:48.000 --> 46:51.000
That's garbage. Jesus has always been the plan.

46:51.000 --> 46:58.000
And if you remember in the Garden of Eden, when Adam and Eve sinned, Jesus had to come.

46:58.000 --> 47:00.000
They didn't know the name of Jesus then.

47:00.000 --> 47:03.000
They look forward to the Savior.

47:03.000 --> 47:06.000
Right. And I'll show you that here in a minute.

47:06.000 --> 47:12.000
But the Bible says that Abraham believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness.

47:12.000 --> 47:18.000
That is the beginning dang near of the Old Testament.

47:18.000 --> 47:27.000
And Jesus is the lamb slain from before the foundation of the world or is the lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

47:27.000 --> 47:31.000
Excuse me. So Jesus has always been the plan.

47:31.000 --> 47:36.000
When in the Old Testament, they look forward to the cross.

47:36.000 --> 47:40.000
Now, us in the New Testament, we look back on the cross.

47:40.000 --> 47:49.000
Jesus has always, always been the way from Adam to the last person that who gets saved during the millennial reign of Christ.

47:49.000 --> 47:51.000
It's always going to be by faith in Jesus Christ.

47:51.000 --> 47:59.000
One hundred percent. Go to go to Acts 10, Acts 10, Acts 10, 42.

47:59.000 --> 48:13.000
We'll start 42. In Acts 10, Peter is preaching to Cornelius and Cornelius, he was a gentile that that he would he would prayer.

48:13.000 --> 48:20.000
He would pray to God and his alms and his deeds came up as a remembrance before the Lord.

48:20.000 --> 48:27.000
And God sent Peter to preach him the gospel.

48:27.000 --> 48:32.000
Right. It's Cornelius, his friends, his family.

48:32.000 --> 48:50.000
And in Acts 10, 42, it says, and he commanded us, this Peter saying, and he commanded us to preach unto the people and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the judge of quick and dead.

48:50.000 --> 49:04.000
Right. To him. In verse 43, it says to him, give all the prophets witness that through his name, whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

49:04.000 --> 49:15.000
So. The prophets in the Old Testament, the Bible says to him talking about Jesus.

49:15.000 --> 49:19.000
The prophets gave witness to Jesus.

49:19.000 --> 49:27.000
Right. All the prophets gave witness to Jesus that through his name, whosoever believeth in him.

49:27.000 --> 49:29.000
Shall receive remission of sins.

49:29.000 --> 49:32.000
So it's always been by faith.

49:32.000 --> 49:35.000
The old all the prophets talk about the Savior.

49:35.000 --> 49:45.000
Right. All the prophets and even even even the rich man and Lazarus when he's in hell, Abraham says, Hey, you know, what does he say?

49:45.000 --> 49:47.000
He says, Go.

49:47.000 --> 49:50.000
He's like, they have Moses and the prophets.

49:50.000 --> 49:51.000
Let them hear them.

49:51.000 --> 49:57.000
Right. Because Moses and the prophets talked about, you know, the Savior.

49:57.000 --> 50:00.000
You know, the righteous servant, the Christ.

50:00.000 --> 50:03.000
Right. Let's go to Isaiah 53.

50:03.000 --> 50:11.000
And the reason why I'm going here is just showing you that, hey, Jesus has always been our reconciliation.

50:11.000 --> 50:14.000
Jesus has always been the plan.

50:14.000 --> 50:16.000
Jesus is the only Savior.

50:16.000 --> 50:19.000
He's always been the Savior.

50:19.000 --> 50:22.000
In the Old Testament, they look forward to the Savior.

50:22.000 --> 50:24.000
They put their faith in God.

50:24.000 --> 50:29.000
And now us in the New Testament, we look back on the cross.

50:29.000 --> 50:35.000
We put our faith in Jesus because in the in the New Testament, Jesus, the name of Jesus was revealed to us.

50:35.000 --> 50:40.000
Bible says, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

50:40.000 --> 50:44.000
And Isaiah 53.

50:44.000 --> 50:54.000
And I just wanted to show you because the whole point of showing you this was was that reconciliation.

50:54.000 --> 50:57.000
Right. And reconciliation means peace.

50:57.000 --> 51:08.000
So I want to show you an Old Testament, an Old Testament passage where, you know, it kind of it just it shows us this right here.

51:08.000 --> 51:09.000
It's just perfect.

51:09.000 --> 51:13.000
I don't know what the Jews do with this verse or with this chapter.

51:13.000 --> 51:15.000
But guess what? The Jews don't believe the Bible.

51:15.000 --> 51:17.000
So whatever.

51:17.000 --> 51:27.000
Isaiah 53, starting in verse five, I was going to read the whole chapter, but for the sake of time, I don't think we can.

51:27.000 --> 51:35.000
Isaiah 53, starting in verse five, But he was wounded for our transgressions.

51:35.000 --> 51:38.000
He was bruised for our iniquities.

51:38.000 --> 51:46.000
The chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes, we are healed.

51:46.000 --> 51:53.000
Right. So the chastisement, Jesus was chastised for our peace so we could be saved.

51:53.000 --> 51:59.000
Right. And another word for peace is to be reconciled.

51:59.000 --> 52:07.000
And in verse 10, if you want to jump down to verse 10, it says, yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him.

52:07.000 --> 52:15.000
Remember, the Bible is clear that that God's wrath is satisfied.

52:15.000 --> 52:21.000
Right. Through Jesus's sacrifice, it says, yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him.

52:21.000 --> 52:27.000
He had put him to grief when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin.

52:27.000 --> 52:29.000
He shall see his seed.

52:29.000 --> 52:35.000
He shall prolong his days and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

52:35.000 --> 52:43.000
Verse 11 says, he shall see the travail of his soul and shall be satisfied.

52:43.000 --> 52:57.000
So God is satisfied. God the Father is satisfied by Jesus's travail, his sacrifice, his death, burial and resurrection.

52:57.000 --> 53:03.000
God the Father is satisfied. Meaning, meaning that that's propitiation. Right.

53:03.000 --> 53:08.000
He's 100% satisfied and that's the only thing that he'll accept.

53:08.000 --> 53:16.000
And it goes on to say, by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many, for he shall bear their iniquities.

53:16.000 --> 53:22.000
So Jesus, you know, he bore our iniquities. He wasn't paying for his own sin on the cross because he had no sin.

53:22.000 --> 53:29.000
He was paying for our sin. Right. He bled and died on the cross bearing our sin.

53:29.000 --> 53:38.000
Right. Shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great and he shall divide the spoil with the strong.

53:38.000 --> 53:43.000
Because he hath poured out his soul unto death.

53:43.000 --> 53:46.000
He was numbered with the transgressors.

53:46.000 --> 53:54.000
And that's clearly talking about Jesus because Jesus, you know, was, he had the thief on the right and the thief on the left hand.

53:54.000 --> 54:00.000
Right. He was numbered with them. Right. Hanging on the cross.

54:00.000 --> 54:08.000
And he was and it says, and he bear the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors.

54:08.000 --> 54:18.000
So Jesus Christ intercedes for us. You know, the Bible says there's one mediator between man, between God and man, the man Christ Jesus.

54:18.000 --> 54:20.000
That's it.

54:20.000 --> 54:28.000
And I want to move on here. So in Colossians, Chapter one, go ahead and go to Colossians, Chapter one and we'll go to verse one.

54:28.000 --> 54:46.000
Colossians one, verse twenty.

54:46.000 --> 55:01.000
The Bible reads and having made peace through the blood of his cross by him to reconcile all things unto himself by him, I say, whether they be things in earth or things in heaven.

55:01.000 --> 55:07.000
And you that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works.

55:07.000 --> 55:23.000
Yet now have he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death to present you holy and unblemable and unreprobable in his sight.

55:23.000 --> 55:29.000
So, Jesus, he made peace through the blood of his cross. And we hit this point so many times.

55:29.000 --> 55:34.000
And I think you guys clearly understand, but it's just incredible.

55:34.000 --> 55:54.000
And there's there's hundreds of verses like this, but it's it's so clear that, you know, that reconciliation that his propitiation that he did that appeased God's wrath through his sacrifice, you know,

55:54.000 --> 56:01.000
and making a way for us to be reconciled through faith in him.

56:01.000 --> 56:07.000
Now, Second Corinthians five, it says in five twenty one, I'll just read it for you.

56:07.000 --> 56:17.000
It says, for he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

56:18.000 --> 56:26.000
Right. So Bible says right here, it says that to present you holy and unblemable and unreprobable in his sight.

56:26.000 --> 56:35.000
And then in Second Corinthians five, it says, for he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

56:35.000 --> 56:40.000
So Jesus took our sin and nailed it to the cross.

56:40.000 --> 56:44.000
And he takes his righteousness and he imputes it unto us.

56:44.000 --> 56:50.000
Right. So when God the Father looks down, he doesn't see, you know, sinful Ryan up here.

56:50.000 --> 56:54.000
He sees, you know, the righteousness of Jesus Christ.

56:54.000 --> 56:56.000
You know, he sees the new man.

56:56.000 --> 57:12.000
Right. In John three, sixteen, it's probably quoted, obviously, says, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,

57:12.000 --> 57:23.000
but have everlasting life. So the ultimate act of love that God did was that, you know, God showed his love to the world by sending his son, Jesus Christ,

57:23.000 --> 57:28.000
into the world to be payment for our sins.

57:28.000 --> 57:36.000
Right. And it's that reconciliation is available to whosoever believes on him.

57:36.000 --> 57:40.000
Right. So reconciliation is available to everybody.

57:40.000 --> 57:44.000
Right. The thing is to receive that reconciliation because it's not automatic.

57:44.000 --> 57:46.000
It's, you know, we ask people out.

57:46.000 --> 57:51.000
So when you know, Jesus paid for all your sins, you pay for everybody's sins.

57:51.000 --> 57:54.000
Does that mean everybody's automatically going to heaven?

57:54.000 --> 58:01.000
No, because you have to believe on Christ alone to get that reconciliation.

58:01.000 --> 58:02.000
Right. Yeah.

58:02.000 --> 58:18.000
You know, and at that moment, the moment we believe our dead spirit, our dead spirit that was dead and trespassing trespasses and sins was quickened, meaning it was made alive.

58:18.000 --> 58:21.000
Right. That's where the term born again comes from.

58:21.000 --> 58:26.000
So you're born one time into the world by your mother that gives birth to you.

58:26.000 --> 58:29.000
And then you're born again by faith in Jesus Christ.

58:29.000 --> 58:39.000
The Bible says in John one, twelve says, but as many as received him to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.

58:39.000 --> 58:45.000
So once you put your faith in Jesus, once you believe on Jesus, his name, you're born.

58:45.000 --> 58:49.000
You're a child of God. That's where the born again comes from.

58:49.000 --> 58:53.000
Right. And then what's born is that new man.

58:53.000 --> 58:58.000
Right. You get the new man inside of you and the new man does not sin at all.

58:58.000 --> 59:02.000
Right. Our flesh. We we sin every single day.

59:02.000 --> 59:11.000
And that's what kind of ticks me off about, you know, they take this verse and I'm sorry, I don't mean to backtrack me.

59:11.000 --> 59:13.000
You know, it's my first sermon. Give me a little grace.

59:14.000 --> 59:22.000
But they take this verse where it says, therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.

59:22.000 --> 59:27.000
Old things are passed away. Behold, all things are become new.

59:27.000 --> 59:33.000
They take that verse and they say, well, see, it says all things have become new.

59:33.000 --> 59:36.000
That means you're going to live a perfect sinless life.

59:36.000 --> 59:38.000
That means you're never going to sin again.

59:38.000 --> 59:44.000
You know, these psychos that, you know, preach sinless perfection, which is complete garbage.

59:44.000 --> 59:53.000
But when you got saved, did your blemishes in your arms and all the things that are wrong with your body, did they just become new?

59:53.000 --> 59:59.000
It's like, no, absolutely not. What becomes new is the new man that's inside of you.

59:59.000 --> 01:00:02.000
It's regenerated. Right.

01:00:02.000 --> 01:00:07.000
You're yeah, you're regenerated. The spirit that was dead is made alive.

01:00:07.000 --> 01:00:11.000
You got the new man. The Bible says whatsoever is born of God.

01:00:11.000 --> 01:00:14.000
Sin it not. Right. And what's born of God?

01:00:14.000 --> 01:00:18.000
Us. Yeah. Got the new man. Yep.

01:00:18.000 --> 01:00:27.000
And you know what ticks me off, though, is that what they don't realize, if that were true, what's what's the need for the resurrection?

01:00:28.000 --> 01:00:32.000
If they just get in, if they're like, oh, you know, all things have become new.

01:00:32.000 --> 01:00:36.000
You get a new body, get everything's regenerate your flash.

01:00:36.000 --> 01:00:40.000
Never going to sin. Why? What's that? Yeah.

01:00:40.000 --> 01:00:44.000
It's the resurrection. It's garbage. It's 100 percent garbage.

01:00:44.000 --> 01:00:52.000
You know, they're going to die one day and they're going to go straight to hell because what they believe is damn double Harrison.

01:00:52.000 --> 01:00:56.000
And the thing is, our flesh will die one day.

01:00:56.000 --> 01:01:00.000
But our spirit, the new man straight to heaven.

01:01:00.000 --> 01:01:04.000
The new man does not sin. This flesh, this flesh is busted.

01:01:04.000 --> 01:01:07.000
This flesh is sinful. It's going to go straight to the earth.

01:01:07.000 --> 01:01:13.000
We're going to be buried. But at the resurrection of the just, we're getting a new body.

01:01:13.000 --> 01:01:21.000
You know, praise God. So and then also we're sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption.

01:01:21.000 --> 01:01:27.000
Right. So we got the new man. We're sealed with the Holy Spirit under the day of redemption.

01:01:27.000 --> 01:01:32.000
We're children of God. And point three.

01:01:32.000 --> 01:01:39.000
So that was my my second point was, you know, Jesus is a propitiation for our sins.

01:01:39.000 --> 01:01:43.000
Right. So he made that appeasement.

01:01:43.000 --> 01:01:46.000
He sacrificed himself to appease God's wrath. Right.

01:01:47.000 --> 01:01:50.000
And that God, the father sent him to do that.

01:01:50.000 --> 01:01:54.000
And he fulfilled all righteousness. He filled the father's will.

01:01:54.000 --> 01:02:03.000
And my third point is the ministry of reconciliation is given to us.

01:02:03.000 --> 01:02:10.000
It wasn't given to Joe Schmo down the road that can just pick up the Bible and read it and get saved.

01:02:10.000 --> 01:02:14.000
It wasn't given to Judas Iscariot, Manly Perry.

01:02:14.000 --> 01:02:19.000
It wasn't it wasn't given to fill in the blank.

01:02:19.000 --> 01:02:21.000
It was given to saved Christians.

01:02:27.000 --> 01:02:31.000
God only uses saved people to get people saved.

01:02:31.000 --> 01:02:40.000
And back in Second Corinthians five, five, eighteen, the second part of that verse.

01:02:40.000 --> 01:02:46.000
So it says all things are of God who have reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ.

01:02:46.000 --> 01:02:52.000
The second part says and have given to us the ministry of reconciliation.

01:02:52.000 --> 01:02:56.000
Right. So this ministry was given to us.

01:02:56.000 --> 01:03:03.000
And it goes on to say in verse 19 to wit that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself,

01:03:03.000 --> 01:03:12.000
not imputing their trespasses unto them and have committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

01:03:12.000 --> 01:03:17.000
So just as God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself,

01:03:17.000 --> 01:03:26.000
the Bible says that God had committed unto us the ministry or the word of reconciliation.

01:03:26.000 --> 01:03:31.000
And to commit something unto somebody, it means you're entrusting them with it.

01:03:31.000 --> 01:03:36.000
Right. You're giving it into their care, their responsibility, their keeping.

01:03:36.000 --> 01:03:39.000
Just like this. This is a horrible example.

01:03:39.000 --> 01:03:49.000
What if I said I committed my saving my life savings to Bank of America savings account to the Jews.

01:03:49.000 --> 01:03:54.000
What I'm doing is entrusting them with my savings.

01:03:54.000 --> 01:03:58.000
Right. So there's a lot of different meetings for the word commit.

01:03:58.000 --> 01:04:01.000
As you could say, hey, he committed suicide.

01:04:01.000 --> 01:04:04.000
Hey, you got to commit when you jump this jump.

01:04:04.000 --> 01:04:08.000
Or I can't think of any more right now.

01:04:08.000 --> 01:04:11.000
But there's. Yeah, exactly.

01:04:11.000 --> 01:04:14.000
So there's committed, committed, you know, different meetings.

01:04:14.000 --> 01:04:19.000
But in this context, it means that it's entrusted to us.

01:04:19.000 --> 01:04:22.000
No, God had committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

01:04:22.000 --> 01:04:27.000
He entrusted it to us. So it's a big deal.

01:04:27.000 --> 01:04:33.000
It's not like it's not like the world is just going to get saved.

01:04:33.000 --> 01:04:39.000
Like angels are going to come down from heaven and start preaching the gospel to people.

01:04:39.000 --> 01:04:42.000
It's not going to happen. God gave it to us.

01:04:42.000 --> 01:04:45.000
Right. So we have to do the work.

01:04:45.000 --> 01:04:48.000
And if we don't, people aren't going to get saved.

01:04:48.000 --> 01:04:50.000
We're still going to heaven. We got the gift.

01:04:50.000 --> 01:04:53.000
We got the gift. Right. We believed on Christ.

01:04:53.000 --> 01:04:55.000
We got the gift. We're going to heaven.

01:04:55.000 --> 01:05:00.000
But if we don't go out into the world, the world's not going to get saved.

01:05:00.000 --> 01:05:08.000
Unfortunately, people are like, so you're saying that that people that just never heard the gospel before would go to hell.

01:05:08.000 --> 01:05:12.000
Yes. Yes, it's true, because they're sinners.

01:05:12.000 --> 01:05:14.000
So it should press you. It should read.

01:05:14.000 --> 01:05:18.000
It should constrain you to go and preach the gospel.

01:05:18.000 --> 01:05:21.000
Just because if we don't do it, who's going to do it?

01:05:25.000 --> 01:05:36.000
So Jesus says in John 20 21, just like God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself.

01:05:38.000 --> 01:05:42.000
Jesus sent us just like the father sent him. Right.

01:05:42.000 --> 01:05:52.000
John 20 21 says, Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you.

01:05:52.000 --> 01:05:56.000
And this is after Jesus had arose again.

01:05:56.000 --> 01:06:00.000
This is before his ascension to heaven.

01:06:00.000 --> 01:06:05.000
Says, Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you.

01:06:05.000 --> 01:06:10.000
As my father hath sent me, even so send I you.

01:06:10.000 --> 01:06:14.000
So in the same way, God the Father sent Jesus Christ into the world.

01:06:14.000 --> 01:06:19.000
Jesus is sending us into the world as well.

01:06:19.000 --> 01:06:31.000
So go ahead and go to 2 Corinthians 520 and I'll read Colossians 1 27.

01:06:32.000 --> 01:06:36.000
Colossians 1 27 says, To whom God would make known,

01:06:36.000 --> 01:06:41.000
What is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles?

01:06:41.000 --> 01:06:45.000
Which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

01:06:45.000 --> 01:06:49.000
So I just wanted to show you a proof text that Christ is in us.

01:06:49.000 --> 01:06:55.000
You know, just like God the Father was in Christ and he was reconciling us,

01:06:55.000 --> 01:06:58.000
or reconciling the world unto himself.

01:06:58.000 --> 01:07:01.000
The Bible is clear that Christ is in us.

01:07:01.000 --> 01:07:06.000
Now we're going out to preach that word of reconciliation.

01:07:06.000 --> 01:07:14.000
And in 2 Corinthians 520 says, Now then we are ambassadors for Christ,

01:07:14.000 --> 01:07:18.000
As though God did beseech you by us.

01:07:18.000 --> 01:07:22.000
We pray you in Christ's stead be reconciled.

01:07:22.000 --> 01:07:26.000
So not only is Christ in us,

01:07:26.000 --> 01:07:30.000
but we are also ambassadors for Christ,

01:07:30.000 --> 01:07:36.000
meaning we are representing Jesus Christ on this earth.

01:07:36.000 --> 01:07:39.000
Because Jesus, he went to heaven obviously.

01:07:39.000 --> 01:07:42.000
He ascended to heaven, he's at the right hand of God the Father.

01:07:42.000 --> 01:07:50.000
And he has given this ministry unto us that we can continue the work that he started, right?

01:07:51.000 --> 01:07:56.000
So I forgot where it is in the Bible, but Jesus says,

01:07:56.000 --> 01:08:00.000
he's like, I'm going to misquote it,

01:08:00.000 --> 01:08:05.000
but basically he says that greater works, basically what you guys do,

01:08:05.000 --> 01:08:07.000
because I go to the Father.

01:08:07.000 --> 01:08:11.000
Not saying that the works are going to be better, it's just going to say more.

01:08:11.000 --> 01:08:15.000
We're going to be able to do more because we're still on this earth.

01:08:15.000 --> 01:08:18.000
Jesus went to heaven so he left this job up to us.

01:08:18.000 --> 01:08:21.000
So we're ambassadors for Christ,

01:08:21.000 --> 01:08:26.000
and we're basically telling people in Christ's stead,

01:08:26.000 --> 01:08:30.000
hey, be reconciled, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

01:08:32.000 --> 01:08:35.000
And God has given every saved Christian this ministry.

01:08:35.000 --> 01:08:39.000
It's not, so don't count yourself out.

01:08:39.000 --> 01:08:42.000
Don't be like, hey, I could never do this.

01:08:42.000 --> 01:08:44.000
You know, this is not my thing.

01:08:44.000 --> 01:08:47.000
Hey, God's given you guys, everybody.

01:08:47.000 --> 01:08:50.000
He's given every saved Christian this ministry.

01:08:50.000 --> 01:08:54.000
So don't try to talk yourself out of it,

01:08:54.000 --> 01:08:58.000
because you know, and if God gave you this ministry,

01:08:58.000 --> 01:09:04.000
do you think God is going to be willing to help you do this?

01:09:04.000 --> 01:09:05.000
You know what I mean?

01:09:05.000 --> 01:09:06.000
He's going to be there.

01:09:06.000 --> 01:09:10.000
You could pray to God, be like, God, you want me to go soul winning.

01:09:10.000 --> 01:09:12.000
You want me to be able to preach the gospel.

01:09:12.000 --> 01:09:14.000
I need your help.

01:09:14.000 --> 01:09:17.000
He's going to do it, because he's the one who gave us this ministry.

01:09:17.000 --> 01:09:19.000
He's not going to leave us high and dry.

01:09:19.000 --> 01:09:21.000
No shock.

01:09:22.000 --> 01:09:30.000
Every man, woman, you know, boy, girl, black, yellow, red, purple, everybody,

01:09:30.000 --> 01:09:36.000
every saved Christian, God, and God only uses saved people to get people saved.

01:09:36.000 --> 01:09:40.000
And I already went through a couple of these other points,

01:09:40.000 --> 01:09:42.000
so I'm just going to move on.

01:09:42.000 --> 01:09:45.000
Also, let's see.

01:09:55.000 --> 01:09:56.000
Okay.

01:09:59.000 --> 01:10:03.000
Yeah, so on the point that that God has given this,

01:10:03.000 --> 01:10:06.000
he's given us the job to go soul winning.

01:10:06.000 --> 01:10:09.000
He's given us the job to go preach the gospel.

01:10:09.000 --> 01:10:17.000
It's because, you know, the natural man, he can't pick up the Bible and just pick up,

01:10:17.000 --> 01:10:19.000
or like we leave a track at the door.

01:10:19.000 --> 01:10:24.000
He can't just pick up the track and read the steps on the back and get saved.

01:10:24.000 --> 01:10:25.000
That's not how it works.

01:10:25.000 --> 01:10:27.000
And I'll tell you why.

01:10:27.000 --> 01:10:29.000
But I believe it'll plant a seed.

01:10:29.000 --> 01:10:34.000
I believe any amount of the word of God, somebody, you know,

01:10:34.000 --> 01:10:38.000
like people in my past that weren't saved telling me a Bible verse,

01:10:38.000 --> 01:10:39.000
those things kind of stick with you.

01:10:39.000 --> 01:10:43.000
You hear John 3.16 your whole life, that sticks with you.

01:10:43.000 --> 01:10:53.000
And anyway, the reason why an unsaved, unregenerate person cannot pick up the Bible

01:10:53.000 --> 01:11:00.000
and just crack it open and read it and get saved is because the Bible says,

01:11:00.000 --> 01:11:03.000
and go ahead and go to 1 Corinthians 2.11.

01:11:08.000 --> 01:11:15.000
I'll try to wrap these last points up.

01:11:15.000 --> 01:11:17.000
I'm surprised this is lasting this long.

01:11:17.000 --> 01:11:20.000
I'm trying to manage time.

01:11:20.000 --> 01:11:21.000
This is hard.

01:11:21.000 --> 01:11:26.000
All right.

01:11:26.000 --> 01:11:29.000
I didn't set a timer or anything.

01:11:29.000 --> 01:11:36.000
But, so the reason why an unsaved guy can't just pick up the Bible and read it is because

01:11:36.000 --> 01:11:38.000
in 1 Corinthians, where did I have to go?

01:11:38.000 --> 01:11:41.000
1 Corinthians 2.11 says,

01:11:55.000 --> 01:11:59.000
So, and then if you go to 1 Corinthians 2.14,

01:11:59.000 --> 01:12:08.000
But you have to have the Spirit of God to know the things that the Spirit of God is saying, right?

01:12:08.000 --> 01:12:11.000
The Bible is a spiritual book.

01:12:11.000 --> 01:12:12.000
The Bible is alive.

01:12:12.000 --> 01:12:15.000
The words of God, those are living words, right?

01:12:15.000 --> 01:12:17.000
It's a spiritual book.

01:12:17.000 --> 01:12:23.000
If that man does not have the Spirit of God in him, he can't understand those things

01:12:23.000 --> 01:12:29.000
because the Bible says, hey, for what man knoweth the things of man,

01:12:29.000 --> 01:12:32.000
save the Spirit of man which is in him, right?

01:12:32.000 --> 01:12:38.000
So, mankind, we can relate on a personal level, just like when people go to a psychiatrist or something.

01:12:38.000 --> 01:12:44.000
They can click together because that person understands that person's spirit.

01:12:44.000 --> 01:12:45.000
We get each other, right?

01:12:45.000 --> 01:12:46.000
We understand.

01:12:46.000 --> 01:12:47.000
We can relate.

01:12:47.000 --> 01:12:52.000
But with the things of the Spirit of God, you have to have the Holy Spirit to understand those things.

01:12:52.000 --> 01:12:53.000
100%.

01:12:53.000 --> 01:12:57.000
So, an unsaved guy, they can't pick up the Bible and read it and get saved

01:12:57.000 --> 01:13:02.000
because they don't have the Spirit of God dwelling in them to reveal those things unto them, right?

01:13:02.000 --> 01:13:05.000
And it says in 1 Corinthians 2.14, it says,

01:13:05.000 --> 01:13:06.000
It says,

01:13:18.000 --> 01:13:19.000
Right?

01:13:19.000 --> 01:13:23.000
That natural man, the unregenerate man, meaning they were not born again,

01:13:23.000 --> 01:13:26.000
they do not have the Holy Spirit inside them,

01:13:26.000 --> 01:13:29.000
the things that he reads on the page are foolishness unto him,

01:13:29.000 --> 01:13:34.000
meaning it's just he doesn't get the spiritual meanings, right?

01:13:34.000 --> 01:13:36.000
He can read the words on the page.

01:13:36.000 --> 01:13:42.000
He can give you facts, but the spiritual cannot understand.

01:13:42.000 --> 01:13:48.000
Like, even when it says to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved,

01:13:48.000 --> 01:13:50.000
he can't grasp that.

01:13:50.000 --> 01:13:53.000
He doesn't understand that it's 100%.

01:13:53.000 --> 01:14:00.000
You've got to not trust in any of your works and only believe on Christ alone, his sacrifice.

01:14:00.000 --> 01:14:02.000
That's what saves you.

01:14:02.000 --> 01:14:08.000
He's not going to understand those things, and he's not going to understand it because the Bible says so.

01:14:08.000 --> 01:14:16.000
And in Acts, and I remember before I was saved, you know, I tried picking up the Bible a few times,

01:14:16.000 --> 01:14:20.000
and I was like, yeah, I'm going to start in Matthew, I'm going to read the Revelation,

01:14:20.000 --> 01:14:25.000
because I was listening to Pastor Anderson and Brother Jimenez, I was listening to them,

01:14:25.000 --> 01:14:30.000
and I was really loving it, and I was like, yes, I need to read my Bible.

01:14:30.000 --> 01:14:36.000
And I was reading my King James Bible, and it just was not like I could read the page,

01:14:36.000 --> 01:14:42.000
but now after getting saved, it's just like, boom, like so many things pop out, you know.

01:14:42.000 --> 01:14:45.000
You understand these things a lot.

01:14:45.000 --> 01:14:53.000
In Acts 8, and I just want to give you a good story from the Bible that proves,

01:14:53.000 --> 01:15:00.000
and this is a real life example of like, hey, this guy here, the Ethiopian eunuch, is reading the Bible.

01:15:00.000 --> 01:15:01.000
He's reading Isaiah.

01:15:01.000 --> 01:15:07.000
He's reading the chapter we just read in Isaiah 53, and he's confused.

01:15:07.000 --> 01:15:11.000
So I just want to show you, hang with me, guys.

01:15:11.000 --> 01:15:14.000
I only have a couple more pages here.

01:15:14.000 --> 01:15:17.000
In Acts 8, 830, it says,

01:15:24.000 --> 01:15:29.000
So Philip's saying to the Ethiopian eunuch, he's like, hey, do you know what you're reading?

01:15:29.000 --> 01:15:31.000
Do you understand what you're reading?

01:15:31.000 --> 01:15:33.000
And in verse 31, and he said,

01:15:44.000 --> 01:15:52.000
So the guy is saying, hey, how can I understand these things unless somebody comes and shows me what I'm looking at here?

01:15:52.000 --> 01:15:57.000
And the place of the scripture which he read was this.

01:15:57.000 --> 01:16:04.000
He was led as a sheep to the slaughter and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth.

01:16:04.000 --> 01:16:08.000
In his humiliation, his judgment was taken away.

01:16:08.000 --> 01:16:12.000
And who shall declare his generation for his life was taken from the earth?

01:16:12.000 --> 01:16:21.000
And the eunuch answered Philip and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this, of himself or some other man?

01:16:21.000 --> 01:16:25.000
So you can see as he's reading him, the Bible, he still doesn't get it, right?

01:16:25.000 --> 01:16:29.000
He's like, hey, who's he talking about here? Is he talking about himself?

01:16:29.000 --> 01:16:32.000
Is he talking about somebody else? What's going on?

01:16:32.000 --> 01:16:35.000
And the Bible, in verse 35, it says,

01:16:42.000 --> 01:16:49.000
So Philip preaches in the gospel because he needed, and even before in the, the, the, the, in Acts 8,

01:16:49.000 --> 01:16:53.000
the Holy Ghost tells Philip to go join myself to this chariot.

01:16:53.000 --> 01:16:59.000
Well, if the Ethiopian eunuch could have got saved by himself just cracking open the scriptures,

01:16:59.000 --> 01:17:03.000
the Holy Ghost went and told Philip to go join himself to the chariot.

01:17:03.000 --> 01:17:12.000
So the point is that they need a soul winner to show them the gospel, to reveal these things unto them.

01:17:12.000 --> 01:17:14.000
Because we have the Holy Ghost.

01:17:14.000 --> 01:17:16.000
Obviously, we talked about this.

01:17:16.000 --> 01:17:18.000
He guides us into all truth.

01:17:18.000 --> 01:17:29.000
And as we're preaching the gospel to people at the door, that person is being made partaker with the Holy Ghost.

01:17:29.000 --> 01:17:36.000
Just like Hebrews 6 says, because it says that they were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, right?

01:17:36.000 --> 01:17:42.000
Because when we're preaching with them, the whole, or preaching to them the gospel, the Holy Ghost is working on their heart,

01:17:42.000 --> 01:17:45.000
you know, trying to get them to understand these things.

01:17:45.000 --> 01:17:50.000
And hopefully the light bulb goes off and they receive it with gladness, right?

01:17:50.000 --> 01:17:57.000
But it's scary when the light bulb goes off, they understand it and they're like, no, I can't believe that.

01:17:57.000 --> 01:18:02.000
You know, I've had that happen a couple times and it's, it's really scary because, you know,

01:18:02.000 --> 01:18:10.000
the Bible says that if they're made partakers and they were enlightened, if they shall turn away, you know,

01:18:10.000 --> 01:18:14.000
basically they're doomed, they're reprobate.

01:18:17.000 --> 01:18:24.000
And I just wanted to kind of, I think, yeah, hold on, let me, let me try to talk this out here.

01:18:24.000 --> 01:18:27.000
Everything brings forth after its own kind.

01:18:27.000 --> 01:18:34.000
So a unregenerate person cannot bring forth fruit unto God, right?

01:18:34.000 --> 01:18:38.000
Everything brings forth after its own kind, even trees.

01:18:38.000 --> 01:18:42.000
It's crazy. You got a tree, I remember, and it did bring forth fruit.

01:18:42.000 --> 01:18:46.000
You have to get a male tree to like pollinate it, right? Yeah.

01:18:46.000 --> 01:18:52.000
So even trees, fruit trees, for example, you get a male tree and a female tree.

01:18:52.000 --> 01:18:57.000
Well, if you just had two male trees, you're not going to get any fruit.

01:18:57.000 --> 01:19:00.000
If you had two female trees, you're not going to get any fruit.

01:19:00.000 --> 01:19:06.000
You have to have a male tree and a female tree and the male tree produces pollen,

01:19:06.000 --> 01:19:10.000
and the female tree soaks in the pollen and produces fruit.

01:19:10.000 --> 01:19:17.000
It's pretty amazing how God, everything God created kind of just points to all these different things that make sense.

01:19:17.000 --> 01:19:21.000
Even, even, praise God.

01:19:21.000 --> 01:19:30.000
And in Romans 10, go ahead and go to Romans 10.

01:19:30.000 --> 01:19:36.000
And then after this point, I have one last point.

01:19:36.000 --> 01:19:41.000
Am I at an hour yet? Nice. Perfect. Praise God.

01:19:41.000 --> 01:19:45.000
All right. Reach on. Let's go.

01:19:45.000 --> 01:19:49.000
Romans 10. I'm going to grab a sweet water.

01:19:59.000 --> 01:20:02.000
Romans 10, verse 14.

01:20:02.000 --> 01:20:08.000
The Bible says, How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?

01:20:08.000 --> 01:20:14.000
Right. And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard?

01:20:14.000 --> 01:20:18.000
And how shall they hear without a preacher? Right.

01:20:18.000 --> 01:20:22.000
And how shall they preach except they be sent?

01:20:22.000 --> 01:20:31.000
As it is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things.

01:20:31.000 --> 01:20:37.000
This is a very awesome little succession of events here that

01:20:37.000 --> 01:20:40.000
Apostle Paul uses in Romans chapter 10. It goes on.

01:20:40.000 --> 01:20:44.000
He says, Then how shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?

01:20:44.000 --> 01:20:49.000
So how is somebody going to call upon the name of the Lord if they haven't believed on him?

01:20:49.000 --> 01:20:54.000
Right. And it says, And how shall they believe in him in whom they have not heard?

01:20:54.000 --> 01:21:01.000
So how is somebody going to believe on Jesus if they didn't hear the gospel preached unto them?

01:21:01.000 --> 01:21:05.000
Right. And it says, And how shall they hear without a preacher?

01:21:05.000 --> 01:21:13.000
Making it very clear that that person in order to believe needs to hear the preaching from a preacher.

01:21:13.000 --> 01:21:17.000
Needs to hear the gospel presentation from a soul winner.

01:21:17.000 --> 01:21:21.000
And how shall they preach except they be sent?

01:21:21.000 --> 01:21:23.000
So we can't preach unless we're sent.

01:21:23.000 --> 01:21:30.000
And guess what? Jesus Christ sent all saved Christians into the world to preach the gospel.

01:21:30.000 --> 01:21:31.000
So nobody has an excuse.

01:21:31.000 --> 01:21:37.000
Can't be like, Well, my church doesn't go soul winning, so I guess I can't go.

01:21:37.000 --> 01:21:40.000
No, Jesus actually commanded you to go.

01:21:40.000 --> 01:21:42.000
Right.

01:21:42.000 --> 01:21:47.000
And God gave us this great ministry.

01:21:47.000 --> 01:21:50.000
So we should be we need to be good stewards of this ministry.

01:21:50.000 --> 01:21:51.000
We started out strong.

01:21:51.000 --> 01:21:53.000
We're going strong at this church.

01:21:53.000 --> 01:21:58.000
And it is super important to keep going because.

01:21:58.000 --> 01:22:05.000
I mean, Jesus even threatens in a church.

01:22:05.000 --> 01:22:11.000
I don't remember the church that he said he was going to basically if they do not repent and do the first works,

01:22:11.000 --> 01:22:14.000
he was going to come and remove their candlestick out of the place.

01:22:14.000 --> 01:22:18.000
He was going to remove their church from their place.

01:22:18.000 --> 01:22:24.000
They could still go to a meeting place, but in God's eyes, it would be a church in God's eyes.

01:22:24.000 --> 01:22:31.000
In order to be a God, a church that God recognizes as a church, it needs to be a soul.

01:22:31.000 --> 01:22:34.000
Church needs to be a church doing the first work.

01:22:34.000 --> 01:22:35.000
Bible says.

01:22:35.000 --> 01:22:42.000
And we just we just got to be good stewards and try.

01:22:42.000 --> 01:22:47.000
And this is something I'm working on is trying to soul win outside regular winning time.

01:22:47.000 --> 01:22:58.000
So I need to have this like in my mind where OK, it's not like I'm clocking into this ministry reconciliation where it's like, all right, Saturday, 1230.

01:22:58.000 --> 01:23:07.000
That's that's that's when the ministry is given to me, you know, or or Sunday at one o'clock.

01:23:07.000 --> 01:23:09.000
Ministry of reconciliation.

01:23:09.000 --> 01:23:10.000
Let's go.

01:23:11.000 --> 01:23:21.000
I need to have and everybody should have this mindset where it's like, hey, everybody you see out in the world could be a lost soul.

01:23:21.000 --> 01:23:26.000
And everybody is saved the same exact way.

01:23:26.000 --> 01:23:33.000
Like everybody you see in the world, it's like, hey, their Savior is Jesus, their Savior is the only Savior is Jesus.

01:23:33.000 --> 01:23:36.000
And we can lead them to Christ.

01:23:36.000 --> 01:23:37.000
And I want to get better.

01:23:37.000 --> 01:23:39.000
So this is for me, too.

01:23:39.000 --> 01:23:44.000
I do want to get better at preaching the gospel outside of soul winning times.

01:23:44.000 --> 01:23:47.000
And we have tons of soul winning events.

01:23:47.000 --> 01:23:53.000
And it's like, hey, if you have a family, if you have a wife and kids, just take it to the bank.

01:23:53.000 --> 01:24:02.000
You can't be the apostle Paul because God doesn't want you using him as an excuse not to take care of your family.

01:24:02.000 --> 01:24:03.000
So you have to be balanced.

01:24:03.000 --> 01:24:10.000
It's like that kid that's like, hey, Mom, Dad, I didn't clean my room because I was reading the Bible.

01:24:10.000 --> 01:24:14.000
Well, there's nothing wrong with reading the Bible.

01:24:14.000 --> 01:24:15.000
Right.

01:24:15.000 --> 01:24:19.000
But don't use God as an excuse to disobey your parents.

01:24:19.000 --> 01:24:21.000
It's completely wrong.

01:24:21.000 --> 01:24:22.000
God doesn't want you to do that.

01:24:22.000 --> 01:24:34.000
Just like if you were just going to every single soul winning marathon and your family's in need and they're suffering.

01:24:34.000 --> 01:24:46.000
And we've seen it a million times with like Kent Hovind, Brother Hiles, you know, where they're just doing all these things for the Lord, which is it's a good thing.

01:24:46.000 --> 01:24:52.000
But God doesn't want you using him as an excuse to to forsake your family.

01:24:52.000 --> 01:24:55.000
So, of course, what I'm saying is that you have to have a balance.

01:24:55.000 --> 01:25:04.000
It's like, hey, yes, be a soul winner, go soul winning, go soul winning as much as you can that our church provides outside of church.

01:25:04.000 --> 01:25:06.000
But just, you know, you got to balance it.

01:25:06.000 --> 01:25:12.000
I'm not saying so I'm just trying to say, hey, I'm not saying just go full blast.

01:25:12.000 --> 01:25:15.000
Forget about everybody in your life and go full blast.

01:25:15.000 --> 01:25:18.000
What I'm saying is be balanced.

01:25:18.000 --> 01:25:19.000
You know what you can do.

01:25:19.000 --> 01:25:22.000
You know, just don't stop going.

01:25:22.000 --> 01:25:25.000
Don't stop being a soul winner.

01:25:25.000 --> 01:25:27.000
God gave this ministry to us.

01:25:27.000 --> 01:25:29.000
If we don't do it, people are going to die and go to hell.

01:25:29.000 --> 01:25:31.000
You can't have the mindset.

01:25:31.000 --> 01:25:35.000
Well, hey, you know, somebody else will get that guy will get saved.

01:25:35.000 --> 01:25:36.000
Maybe not.

01:25:36.000 --> 01:25:39.000
Hopefully, hopefully he'll get saved, but maybe not.

01:25:39.000 --> 01:25:41.000
And man, that's going to suck.

01:25:41.000 --> 01:25:47.000
One day if we see somebody at the Great White Throne judgment and they're like, man, why didn't you tell me?

01:25:47.000 --> 01:25:50.000
I'm sorry.

01:25:50.000 --> 01:25:52.000
You know, it sucks.

01:25:52.000 --> 01:25:57.000
And this is the last point I have is that we're the salt of the earth.

01:25:57.000 --> 01:25:58.000
Right.

01:25:58.000 --> 01:25:59.000
And Matthew five.

01:25:59.000 --> 01:26:00.000
Go ahead and go to Matthew five.

01:26:00.000 --> 01:26:03.000
This will be the literally last.

01:26:03.000 --> 01:26:05.000
That's why I tell people out soul winning.

01:26:05.000 --> 01:26:06.000
I need to stop doing that.

01:26:06.000 --> 01:26:07.000
It's my last verse.

01:26:07.000 --> 01:26:08.000
One more verse, guys.

01:26:08.000 --> 01:26:10.000
Ten verses later.

01:26:10.000 --> 01:26:22.000
I'm just kidding.

01:26:22.000 --> 01:26:24.000
Matthew five, 13.

01:26:24.000 --> 01:26:32.000
I found this really interesting because Jesus uses these carnal examples to like prove a spiritual point.

01:26:32.000 --> 01:26:33.000
Right.

01:26:33.000 --> 01:26:38.000
He gives us examples that we can like relate to that we see in everyday life.

01:26:38.000 --> 01:26:40.000
I like what I was telling you about that sermon.

01:26:40.000 --> 01:26:47.000
You're preaching like using the bowl to like picture some, you know, some sin in your life that's corrupt.

01:26:47.000 --> 01:26:48.000
I can't remember.

01:26:48.000 --> 01:26:51.000
But anyway, using carnal examples to prove a spiritual point.

01:26:51.000 --> 01:26:52.000
It's really cool.

01:26:52.000 --> 01:26:54.000
And Jesus does this all the time.

01:26:54.000 --> 01:26:57.000
And Matthew five, 13.

01:26:57.000 --> 01:27:00.000
Jesus says you are the salt of the earth.

01:27:00.000 --> 01:27:05.000
But if the salt have lost his saber, wherewith shall be salted?

01:27:05.000 --> 01:27:12.000
It is thenceforth good for nothing but to be cast out and to be trodden under foot of men.

01:27:12.000 --> 01:27:14.000
And it's very interesting.

01:27:14.000 --> 01:27:17.000
Jesus uses salt as an example.

01:27:17.000 --> 01:27:20.000
And he says, were the salt of the earth.

01:27:20.000 --> 01:27:21.000
Right.

01:27:21.000 --> 01:27:24.000
And what's interesting about salt, there is nothing.

01:27:24.000 --> 01:27:26.000
Salt is very peculiar.

01:27:26.000 --> 01:27:28.000
There's no other mineral.

01:27:28.000 --> 01:27:29.000
There's no other spice.

01:27:29.000 --> 01:27:34.000
There's nothing else like salt, which is pretty cool because we're a peculiar people.

01:27:34.000 --> 01:27:35.000
Right.

01:27:35.000 --> 01:27:38.000
And salt is a preservative.

01:27:38.000 --> 01:27:44.000
And what we're doing when we go soul winning is that we're preserving people to everlasting life.

01:27:44.000 --> 01:27:48.000
We're preaching them the gospel so their life can be preserved forever.

01:27:48.000 --> 01:27:49.000
Right.

01:27:49.000 --> 01:27:50.000
Salt is a preservative.

01:27:50.000 --> 01:27:54.000
Salt also steams and it burns.

01:27:54.000 --> 01:27:57.000
I don't know if you ever had like a cut on your lip or on your hand.

01:27:57.000 --> 01:27:58.000
You just get like salt on it.

01:27:58.000 --> 01:28:01.000
It's like, ah, dang it.

01:28:01.000 --> 01:28:13.000
Well, when we preach and when the preachers preach the word behind this pulpit or out in the world, salt steams and it's going to burn.

01:28:13.000 --> 01:28:14.000
But it's good.

01:28:14.000 --> 01:28:18.000
It actually kills bacteria too, which is awesome.

01:28:18.000 --> 01:28:19.000
Yeah, it cleans.

01:28:19.000 --> 01:28:21.000
It cleans wounds.

01:28:21.000 --> 01:28:23.000
I already told you salt is unique.

01:28:23.000 --> 01:28:25.000
It's unique from everybody else.

01:28:25.000 --> 01:28:27.000
And you know what else is interesting about salt?

01:28:27.000 --> 01:28:29.000
It doesn't burn.

01:28:29.000 --> 01:28:33.000
Not in the sense that I just talked to you about, but it doesn't burn.

01:28:33.000 --> 01:28:46.000
What I was researching about this, it says unlike many substances we use daily, salt is non flammable and remains stable even at high temperatures.

01:28:46.000 --> 01:28:50.000
So just like us, we're never going to burn either.

01:28:50.000 --> 01:28:53.000
We're going to heaven and even at high temperatures.

01:28:53.000 --> 01:28:58.000
And the Bible says, you know, not even a hair of our head is going to be singed.

01:28:58.000 --> 01:29:00.000
We're not even going to smell like smoke.

01:29:00.000 --> 01:29:01.000
Salt can't burn.

01:29:01.000 --> 01:29:05.000
So it's pretty interesting how Jesus used salt, right?

01:29:05.000 --> 01:29:09.000
And salt is also crucial for human survival.

01:29:09.000 --> 01:29:12.000
We need salt and the earth needs salt.

01:29:12.000 --> 01:29:15.000
The Bible says that we're the salt of the earth, right?

01:29:15.000 --> 01:29:18.000
So we need to have salt in ourselves.

01:29:18.000 --> 01:29:20.000
We need to be salty Christians.

01:29:20.000 --> 01:29:21.000
And you know what?

01:29:21.000 --> 01:29:28.000
Right here it says, but if the salt has lost his sabre, wherewith shall it be salted?

01:29:28.000 --> 01:29:33.000
The word wherewith is an old fashioned word that means with what?

01:29:33.000 --> 01:29:44.000
So if we're the salt of the earth, and it goes on to say, but if the salt have lost his sabre, wherewith or with what shall it be salted?

01:29:44.000 --> 01:29:47.000
What else is going to salt the earth?

01:29:48.000 --> 01:29:51.000
We're the only ones that can salt the earth.

01:29:51.000 --> 01:29:52.000
That's it.

01:29:52.000 --> 01:29:55.000
So nobody else is going to be salt in the earth.

01:29:55.000 --> 01:30:03.000
And when you lose your sabre, it doesn't mean you lose your salvation because you cannot lose your salvation.

01:30:03.000 --> 01:30:07.000
What it means is, and this is not even a salvation verse at all.

01:30:07.000 --> 01:30:09.000
Everybody in here knows that.

01:30:09.000 --> 01:30:11.000
But I just want to be clear.

01:30:11.000 --> 01:30:14.000
This is a Christian life verse, right?

01:30:15.000 --> 01:30:23.000
So if a person, a Christian loses their saltiness, they lose their sabre, they're losing their effectiveness.

01:30:23.000 --> 01:30:26.000
They're not an effective Christian anymore.

01:30:26.000 --> 01:30:29.000
And just like this, and I looked this up too.

01:30:29.000 --> 01:30:31.000
I said, hey, can there any salt?

01:30:31.000 --> 01:30:35.000
Is there salt out there that loses its sabre?

01:30:35.000 --> 01:30:37.000
And sure enough, there is.

01:30:37.000 --> 01:30:41.000
So like in the Dead Sea with salt.

01:30:41.000 --> 01:30:47.000
So if different minerals like mix in with the salt, it becomes, it loses its sabre.

01:30:47.000 --> 01:30:54.000
I even asked it, I was like, if it loses its sabre and becomes mixed in with minerals, is it flammable?

01:30:54.000 --> 01:30:57.000
No, it's still not flammable.

01:30:58.000 --> 01:31:05.000
So no matter what kind of crap you get in your life, right, you're losing your sabre,

01:31:05.000 --> 01:31:10.000
meaning you're allowing these different minerals to mix in with your saltiness.

01:31:10.000 --> 01:31:20.000
The minerals of living after the flesh, lusting after the things of the flesh, just backsliding, serving self, you know,

01:31:20.000 --> 01:31:26.000
just different, these minerals you can liken unto sin that you have in your life that you're dealing with, right?

01:31:26.000 --> 01:31:28.000
And everybody has that.

01:31:28.000 --> 01:31:32.000
But the thing is, we can't let that get out of control.

01:31:32.000 --> 01:31:34.000
We want to remain salty Christians.

01:31:34.000 --> 01:31:37.000
The Christian life is not like a five-year plan.

01:31:37.000 --> 01:31:42.000
This is like from the day you get saved to the day you die.

01:31:42.000 --> 01:31:43.000
That's the goal.

01:31:43.000 --> 01:31:48.000
Let's run the race and be effective.

01:31:48.000 --> 01:31:49.000
We need to be salty.

01:31:49.000 --> 01:31:52.000
We need to stay salty, right?

01:31:53.000 --> 01:32:01.000
That's kind of like the practical part of this sermon here is to, we're the salt of the earth.

01:32:01.000 --> 01:32:03.000
Nobody else can salt the earth.

01:32:03.000 --> 01:32:05.000
We need to stay salty.

01:32:05.000 --> 01:32:08.000
If we lose our sabre, we're not going to be effective anymore.

01:32:08.000 --> 01:32:11.000
The Bible says that we're good for nothing here.

01:32:11.000 --> 01:32:19.000
If we lose our sabre, meaning we're not salty anymore, it says it is thenceforth good for nothing,

01:32:19.000 --> 01:32:23.000
but to be cast out and be trodden underfoot of men.

01:32:23.000 --> 01:32:29.000
Honestly, if we're living a self-serving life, not doing anything for the kingdom of God,

01:32:29.000 --> 01:32:34.000
we're not doing any soul-winning, serving ourselves, we're literally good for nothing.

01:32:34.000 --> 01:32:36.000
We're still salt.

01:32:36.000 --> 01:32:38.000
We're just not salty salt.

01:32:38.000 --> 01:32:43.000
Un-salty salt gets trodden under feet of men.

01:32:43.000 --> 01:32:44.000
But guess what?

01:32:44.000 --> 01:32:49.000
Un-salty salt still goes to heaven, period, because you can't ever lose your salvation.

01:32:49.000 --> 01:32:51.000
But let's be salty here.

01:32:51.000 --> 01:33:00.000
Let's be this year, I know Brother Remy has it in his mind to do more soul-winning than we ever have at this church.

01:33:00.000 --> 01:33:02.000
Let's get behind the leadership.

01:33:02.000 --> 01:33:04.000
Let's go soul-winning.

01:33:04.000 --> 01:33:06.000
Let's take this ministry seriously.

01:33:06.000 --> 01:33:10.000
None of us here have ever not taken the ministry seriously.

01:33:10.000 --> 01:33:12.000
But let's not lose that.

01:33:12.000 --> 01:33:17.000
Because sometimes we can get down in life, it's like, man, it's already Saturday.

01:33:17.000 --> 01:33:19.000
Whoo, that week went by fast.

01:33:19.000 --> 01:33:24.000
Well, sometimes we can get a little burned out.

01:33:24.000 --> 01:33:26.000
But no, we've got to keep going.

01:33:26.000 --> 01:33:29.000
And sometimes you need your buddy to run alongside of you.

01:33:30.000 --> 01:33:34.000
Called the local Baptist church.

01:33:34.000 --> 01:33:39.000
You go to church, you exhort each other, and you get fired up again.

01:33:39.000 --> 01:33:43.000
Or you've got the power bar called the King James Bible Conference.

01:33:43.000 --> 01:33:46.000
And you need to eat that sucker and get fired up again.

01:33:46.000 --> 01:33:48.000
Keep running the race.

01:33:48.000 --> 01:33:53.000
Pastor Thompson, this is brought to you by King James Conference 2026.

01:33:53.000 --> 01:33:55.000
All right.

01:33:55.000 --> 01:33:58.000
Let's bow our heads and have a word of prayer.

01:33:58.000 --> 01:34:02.000
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you, God, for allowing me to preach this sermon.

01:34:02.000 --> 01:34:05.000
I pray, God, that it was to your glory.

01:34:05.000 --> 01:34:09.000
And just thank you for helping me not be as nervous as I was.

01:34:09.000 --> 01:34:12.000
And I just pray, God, that it's edifying to everybody.

01:34:12.000 --> 01:34:14.000
And I pray you will help us as a church.

01:34:14.000 --> 01:34:19.000
Just be a salty, on fire, soul-winning church for you, Lord.

01:34:19.000 --> 01:34:22.000
And just open up doors for us.

01:34:22.000 --> 01:34:26.000
Open up more doors that we could be effective at soul-winning.

01:34:26.000 --> 01:34:29.000
And I pray you'll bless the leadership here.

01:34:29.000 --> 01:34:32.000
And bless everybody as we go.

01:34:32.000 --> 01:34:34.000
In Jesus' name, Amen.

01:34:39.000 --> 01:34:41.000
Turn it down.

01:34:41.000 --> 01:34:47.000
We're going to turn to page number 400 and 72.

01:34:47.000 --> 01:34:49.000
Page number four.

01:34:49.000 --> 01:34:54.000
And the 72, this is my Father's world.

01:34:54.000 --> 01:34:59.000
Page number 472.

01:35:06.000 --> 01:35:11.000
Page number 472, this is my Father's world.

01:35:11.000 --> 01:35:14.000
We'll sing it out on the first.

01:35:14.000 --> 01:35:19.000
This is my Father's world.

01:35:19.000 --> 01:35:34.000
And to my listening ears, all nature sings and round me rings the music of the spheres.

01:35:34.000 --> 01:35:39.000
This is my Father's world.

01:35:39.000 --> 01:35:53.000
I rest me in the thought of rocks and trees, of skies and seas, His hand the wonders wrought.

01:35:53.000 --> 01:35:58.000
This is my Father's world.

01:35:58.000 --> 01:36:12.000
The words their carols raise, the morning light, the lily white, declare their maker's praise.

01:36:12.000 --> 01:36:17.000
This is my Father's world.

01:36:17.000 --> 01:36:22.000
He shines in all that's fair.

01:36:22.000 --> 01:36:27.000
In the rustling grass I hear Him pass.

01:36:27.000 --> 01:36:32.000
He speaks to me everywhere.

01:36:32.000 --> 01:36:37.000
This is my Father's world.

01:36:37.000 --> 01:36:51.000
Oh, let me ne'er forget that though the wrong seems oft so strong, God is the ruler yet.

01:36:51.000 --> 01:36:56.000
This is the Father's world.

01:36:56.000 --> 01:37:01.000
The battle is not done.

01:37:01.000 --> 01:37:11.000
Jesus who died shall be satisfied, and earth and heaven be one.

01:37:11.000 --> 01:37:22.000
All right, excellent singing everybody. Brother Jacob, please close us in word of prayer.

01:37:22.000 --> 01:37:26.000
Amen.

01:37:26.000 --> 01:37:28.000
Okay.
